3621  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 04, 2017, 05:33:45 AM
This picture (from Seven Psychopaths) made me think of the past month so I did a quick edit on it, just for fun.
Enjoy
3622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does anyone believe the hype that Ether is the next big thing? on: April 03, 2017, 07:46:32 AM
yep. quite possible. it's also quite possible it'll go up in smoke when some new exploitation is found. no doubt it's gonna give birth to alot of cool stuff but there'll be more craziness along the way.

right now in my mind it's simply the biggest pump coin out there. i'd take a bunch more convincing to change my mind.

nah, Dash has been bigger pump than ether but since ether is a newer pump with a lot more advertising than Dash it seems bigger and more often.

and i agree that it opened up some room for many cool stuff but it is a shame that this coin is centralized and manipulated to the maximum possible manipulation. and that will kill it in the long run and whales don't even care, they will drag along and make millions while small traders lose their money and then they leave for another pump project and leave ether to the dust.
3623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why people use dice bot? on: April 03, 2017, 07:33:01 AM
I have never used a dice bot but I can see a benefit. If you use a betting strategy like martingale where you have to make very small bets, it takes forever to make any profit. A bot would speed it up quite a bit.

Most certainly not. MGale is like the worst possible thing to add into a bot. It will eventually identify your pattern and then your money is gone.

this is mostly conspiracy theory and your imagination running wild when you lose money. with a bot you can actually do an automated check on each roll to see if it was really "provably fair" or not.
Martingale strategy on its own is bad to begin with, it has nothing to do with casinos wanting to cheat you. they don't need to. you get unlucky and lose money very simple specially when you have a small bankroll which gets wiped out with a 10 losing streak!
3624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what bet size do you start with when gambling dice? on: April 03, 2017, 07:24:14 AM
for me it depends on a couple of factors, like the bitcoin price for example as it becomes more and more expensive i tend to make smaller bets and i used to make 0.1-0.01BTC bets too!

but also it depends on how much money i have, in total no in my bankroll, which comes from the income that i have from my works that i do. and the more i earn the bigger my bankroll will be and the bigger bets i will make.

but usually it is about 1000 satoshi bets since i mostly use martingale strategy in dice Smiley
3625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 1.2ZEC(80$~) and im new in this trades.. Which coin to investment?. on: April 03, 2017, 07:13:16 AM
well $80 is not that much money to think of investing it in multiple altcoins so don't sweat it much.
if i were you i put less in Doge and less in XRP but more in LTC.
i say less in Doge since i don't really believe in the future of Doge and its pump (personal opinion) but it can get pumped. and XRP is pumped big time so it is dangerous to go in right now although it keeps rising still.

but LTC is still not high as it should be, again although it was also pumped and after pumps happen you should always fear correction. try to buy in a dip.
3626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC is the next pump, buy before moon landing!!!!! on: April 03, 2017, 07:01:16 AM
I'm telling you someday in the next week you'll wake up and see that LTC has landed on moon with a $45 market price. after seeing DASH and ETH pumped so fast I'm planning to liquidate my entire life, house/car/gold/bank accounts savings all included and buy LTC I might be able to earn 8 times over in less than a month.

What do you think?

that is a terrible advice and a terrible thing if you think to do even half of it.

if you posted this last week instead of 5 hours ago then it would have been a good idea, and even i was suggesting people to get in litecoin before it is too late.
and right now we have seen one 100% rise and a lot of profit. i think there is still room to go higher but as i always say, after a pump rise becomes harder and entering after it becomes riskier every day.

you can see what happened to Dash and Ether after their pumps. do you want the same thing to keep happening to you!
3627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: April 02, 2017, 06:12:53 AM
If the business plan or model whichever is very good and has potential to turn you small amount invested amount into more than your initial money then it really makes sense. After all your money is being increased even in small ratio. Sometimes small investment can bring to people unexpectedly high profit so I will say yes it makes sense.

From my understanding, the topic of this thread is actually asking about wether it is worth it to put in small amount into an investment. If you wish to put a small amount in a small business then it might be worth it however if it is into a bigger business then there is no point at all because all you do will be dilluting the other investor and you get nothing

as long as the investment is paying you something then i say it is worth it, it is better than letting your money rot in your wallet. at least that way you get some extra amount, even small amount on top of what you already have.
although in real not bitcoin world you may want to consider things such as fees, and taxes and how profitable your investment would be after them but OP is asking about a bitcoin investment in a casino so that is another topic. and for a casino it doesn't matter if it is small!
3628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: For traders, when do you sell? on: April 02, 2017, 05:58:23 AM
What's your rough profit margin when trading (both short and long term)?
You happy with 10%, 20%, 50, 100, 200 or 1000%?  Grin

there is no single answer for that! it depends on the situation and it depends on what i am investing in.
as far as the long term is concerned i only invest in bitcoin for long term and for that i am not giving up anything lower than 1000% Grin

but for short term there are altcoins that i go in for 100%+ and there are times when i am satisfied with a 5%. for example i did at least 10x 3-5% profit last couple of days with litecoin and initially i got a big 70%ish profit from it.

and it also depends on when you get in, sometimes you can get in early so you can hope for a big profit but when you are late it is best you don't get in at all or when you do, you should stick to 1 digit profits!
3629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Ripple (XRP) Compares to BTC and ETH! on: April 02, 2017, 05:48:22 AM
the only thing worth knowing about Ripple compared to bitcoin and other altcoins is that when it pumps it pumps good and the profit will be easy and huge because simply going from 600 satoshi to 2100 satoshi is so much easier than pumping a coin like ethereum which has high price but it gives you the same profit since it is still a 250% rise! and the market is big enough for us to invest a couple of BTC and be able to dump it without anything changing.
3630  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can break above $1,100 again? on: April 02, 2017, 05:42:51 AM
This will soon become a reality. we will see the price of bitcoin reaches 1100USD. there has been a rise in the price of bitcoin for 2 days.
we will experience more of the heyday of bitcoin. hopefully this will last much longer.
The price have been getting closer to $1100 often and at times the price has crossed $1100. One thing important is that the price haven't gained stability. Once on stabilization price will tend to stay above $1100 for a much longer time period as quoted above.

stability, in general meaning of it in economics and price, is something you can not see in bitcoin for many years. price is still mostly controlled in the small exchanges with thin orderbooks and lots of weak hands. a small FUD always makes the market shake and price to fall. and also the opposite, the small good news can make the market shake and make the price to go up.
although good news is that this process has been getting smaller as the market grows.
3631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are bitcoins more secure then Swiss bank? on: April 02, 2017, 05:35:35 AM
well in my opinion the comparison of the two is wrong!
with Swiss bank you get fiat and that will always be valid with more or less the same value but you are again putting your money in a bank which is going to be centralized and although it promises high privacy but you can never know the truth.

with bitcoin you get the privacy and anonymity to some extent and you have it on your own since it is decentralized and also with highest security only if you know what you are doing and use a cold storage. but the problem will be price which is volatile which makes bitcoin more of an investment.
3632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum an Altcoin? on: April 01, 2017, 08:47:05 AM
you could have used google to find the official website and read the details faster Smiley
yes you can call it an altcoin but ethereum is more of a platform rather than being a coin. it had a nice idea but the platform and the project is not good enough in my opinion. there are other very similar projects that do things better and with less bugs. such as Lisk.

and not it has nothing to do with bitcoin, they try to attach themselves to bitcoin whenever it suits them to advertise their project and pump it as we saw last week. and ethereum is centralized and most of the supply is controlled by the whales. these are the only things you need to know about it.

but go the the website and see the code for more information if you are interested in the platform and the pump and dumps.
3633  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can break above $1,100 again? on: April 01, 2017, 08:20:10 AM
1,100 now! Grin

Huh?  I must of blinked and missed it.   Shocked

you didn't blink, it was an April's fools lie!

i don't see anything above $1096 anywhere on bitfinex and bitstamp has $1087 as its highest price. other places don't count Wink

and we are on the way up there anyways so who cares if we get there today or in a week. there is nothing stopping it now unless they come up with a new FUD.
3634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: April 01, 2017, 08:00:52 AM
The return of BetKing will help add to the diversification and returns!

Hint hint Dean!
But we must wait a bit longer for that, because betking still on beta mode, they still need to test on monday about their chat and investment. I'm waiting for betking too, can't wait to see they are back and start our investment

It is going to be a good day when they are back.

The biggest returns over the shortest period!

Unless you have a huge amount then probably it wont be worth it. The site has had many huge investor in the past and those investor might come back so unless it is something around 10-20 btc investment then it might not be even worth to mention. Well this is only my entitled opinion about betking
True, Investment will be only worth if you invested big money, but there is also a risk. If some whales (We know betking had many whales) won a lot, your investment wil be decreased so fast and it could be turned into small money especially you were used high kelly for your investment.
OP has invested his money 1 btc on Betking and got 40% profit from them (0.4 btc profit) for 16 weeks, i think 1 btc is enough to invest our money (it is not too big, but it is not too small either)

talking about "worth it or not" when it comes to investment is not just about how much you can earn from that investment but it is the relationship between the profit you make and the risk you take. these two should be considered at the same time.
and when it comes to investing in a gambling site's bankroll you are taking a higher risk than other types of investment so the money you put in should be in proportion to that risk and how much you are willing to risk. which is why you can't just say a number like "1BTC" because it is different for everybody and based on where you invest it.
3635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Alert to those you hide face! on: April 01, 2017, 07:55:46 AM
this is such a stupid move by them or any other online bitcoin casino because people will simply close their accounts and move on to other casinos that are better and don't ask for silly things such as documents and picture ID with your face on it.
we are gambling with bitcoin afterall. and besides most casinos won't even go for it themselves because that would mean they should also pay taxes on what they are earning.
3636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC rise up on: April 01, 2017, 07:48:21 AM
ltiecoin has been the most disappointing altcoin pump in my opinion.

it had a very good pump the first couple of hours and it nearly reached the 0.008BTC which was a good point for exiting, as i did a little lower and then it declined from there and it is staying around 0.006BTC so far and seems like having trouble going up.

and this has nothing to do with its SegWit, this was a normal pump as it always happens. the SegWit pump will come in the near future and price will go up a lot more than just a simple 100% rise.
3637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin dominance keeps decreasing due to recent altcoins pump. on: April 01, 2017, 07:43:36 AM
bitcoin is still the dominant coin. it has the highest price which is showing the real majority support/demand for it and it still is the only coin that has real adoption and also real world usage. bitcoin, unlike altcoins, is not just for trading you can use it in other applications such as using it as a currency.

that "dominance" that coinmarketcap shows is just a foolish comparison of bitcoin's real marketcap with all the rest of the altcoin's fake marketcap.
no matter how many times i repeat this, people still fall for this scam.
market cap = price * supply
altcoins = huge supply (even 100 billion coins) => any price * huge number = huge marketcap!
3638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion on: March 31, 2017, 06:43:34 AM
hold on a minute there!
have we forgotten that Game of Thrones is based on the book series called "A Song of Ice and Fire" which means the end is already known so what the hell are we even betting on! the story is out there for everyone to find and see what happens or even some may have read the books already and know it! Cheesy

p.s. i haven't read any comments here and i am not going to put some spoiler alerts around here for gods sake Smiley
3639  Economy / Speculation / Re: China found huge gold mine. Price evolution? on: March 31, 2017, 06:11:55 AM
I don't know the gold market at all, so I am fairly disappointed of what I hear (that the price is highly manipulated and, more important, such discovery won't really matter).
Diversifying to silver makes indeed sense.

Protip: Gold is the biggest enemy of USD. If you wanna hedge your FIAT investments, hoard gold.

Since I am too small for this and since "hoarding gold" needs a place to store it (and no, I don't like the banks, do you?), I still vote for Bitcoin (and some alts!). My paper wallet is harder to hind and steal than some hold would be.

Also my hearth tells me that not very far from now, minerals will be easier to find & mine (not necessarily on this planet) or even recycle. The price will have to go down at some point...

i am right with you on that. although gold has a good price and it is stable for the most part but storing it is a risk and a pain in the ass. i have some at home but it is a nightmare if you are paranoid too Smiley
but it is good for diversifying anyways.

if bitcoin had a more stable price and it was a couple of years in the future, all my life savings would have been in bitcoin because there is no way anybody can steal my bitcoin apart from what i keep in the hot wallet which is not much.

and as for this news goes, gold holders usually don't go in bitcoin, they play around in the similar markets like other precious metals.
3640  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂ 🎁 7,000,000,000 bets promotion🎁 FORUM SOON on: March 31, 2017, 06:04:21 AM
I saw lot of v.i.p who are winning on the game and i really love watching them with amuzement i don't know how they can make it is in martingale or they have lot of money to play and to risk to make it a big profit in bitsler.

you can start hanging out in the website and start watching the high rollers tab to see how most of them make bets, and it is sometimes exiting to see that much bitcoin in one bet in a high roll Smiley
but from what i have seen it is usually not martingale they use. they mostly use low multipliers with high chance of win and make bets that way.
Well... Your right that they mostly use stragety that have high chance of winning because at the end the more high chance of winning the more bet and wagered can you do, but i think HR is not thingking in her wagered, just play and make profit only as usual

What kind of strategy use big amount to had a high chance of winning? Sometimes i incounter 6 straight lose in bitslers i don't know what is the reason of this if you're going to ask people how much v.i.p player bitcoin gets from bitsler? wagered are important for me i don't play just for profit im there to make fun also with my few friends.

i am not exactly sure if you are asking a question with the question marks and not sure what the questions is!
the strategy as i said is different with each one and they each use different strategies, i am not exactly following them to know every single move Smiley
for example (from current history) there is someone making 4.5 LTC bets with a 1.1x multiplier (90% chance of win) and there is another one making 13 LTC bets with 1.0103x multiplier (97.99%) and so on.

and as for the reason of your loss, it is because bets are independent from each other. if you have lost the last bet it doesn't mean you should win this one or vice versa. each bet is completely random and on its own.
