+1 You see less MAC viruses because there are less MAC users around Wink
On mobile side, Android is the most targeted OS. Nobody is 100% safe.

The safest computer is the one that doesn't exist

Safest computer is human itself. Highly customizable features ever found. Best antivirus ever built. No known attacks by humans till now. Wink

Use a brain wallet. That's it.

But the Book of Mormon went direct from the prophet's pen to the printing press.  You do not have that level of certainty that Mohammed's words were not altered.

And although the words of Jesus can be said to have "been altered," the New Testament provides four versions of the story.

So you really do not have a point here that's logically sustainable.  Might as well stop repeating it.

He isn't a prophet.

If Qur'an was altered, you can see mistakes in it, human errors. But there is no errors.

Loan of 0.1
Repayment of 0.2
Collertal steam account u can keep after I repay as well
Term length 3 days

jorjito25 accepted your loan request. What happened with it? Your steam account isn't worth 0.1BTC and also you are offering a "too good to be true" request. I may loan you for small amount(< 0.04BTC).

Localbitcoin.com ?
You can ask your friend trade face to face so you not need to appear

Be careful when you do face to face trades. IIRC two threads popped-up sharing their story. One of them said that the trader he met tried to attack him. Always do face to face trade with trusted members and also in an open place and always keep a distance from the trader.

I think this can also be used for sending via a micropayment processor such as FaucetBox and Paytoshi by small tweak.

This is what I want to avoid Smiley

@liriks : I will buy it if you accept escrow.

I understand. If you run Bitcoin core 24/7 or have a VPS which can be used for running it 24/7, it's better to use use Bitcoin core for sending payments. But for others, who can't do this, micropayment processors are easy and hassle-free.

P.S. Try to get API from FaucetBox and send a few payments through it. Then your faucet will be added(after submission) to theit faucet rotator which will gain you more traffic and before paying, tell escrow to compare the codes he give with codes in Github repos[1]. In case, if he made a small tweak and selling free thing, you won't loose the money. Smiley

3649  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Need 1.5 Btc for cloud mining on: March 24, 2015, 11:41:26 AM
Cloudminr.io is a ponzi scheme and I don't think it will run for that long. You best bet is to try Hashnet or BIT-X.

You won't get a loan here as your earning source depends on ponzi rewards and the period is too long. Smiley

you are mining a pool then? you can't receive fees, you receive reward portion of block equal to the power you put in

but it really seems that you are mining in solo, because of the "createnewblock"

Huh

Which asic miners? Can you tell the name/model?

You will not earn anything from solo mining as the period of small scale solo miners is finished. You better point it to a pool if you want to earn something.

works for bitcoin too ?

He answered in OP. Yes, it works for all coin.

how the payments are made ?

Using RPC. I think this can also be used for sending via a micropayment processor such as FaucetBox and Paytoshi by small tweak.
3654  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HOWTO: create a 100% secure wallet on: March 24, 2015, 11:07:32 AM
buying a hardware wallet does't mean your coins are safer.

True if you buy cheap hardware wallets because such devices have back doors for example Trezor-clones.

that's right. i was planning to buy a trezor but didn't do so as it is not offline.

You don't need to be completely offline to be secure. If you have the knowledge "how to protect your PC", it is enough. However, being offline is better.

that's why i bought a few thumb drives to store my backups. that's really offline as they are not connected with the net.

So how do you spend from it? Import the private key into an online machine and spend? Sign tx and push it from an online PC? Can you please tell?
3655  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best operative system? on: March 24, 2015, 07:41:20 AM
Really should be in OffTopic, but Mac is the safest to use with BTC applications on it. I use linux sometimes though.

that's a myth, mac is not less secure at all, they are all about the same, the secuirty of a desktop depend mostly on the person using it

But IMHO Windows is less secure. I have you used a few OS but in that Windows seems more vulnerable to attacks than others. I haven't tested Mac though.
3656  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: noob need guidance on: March 24, 2015, 07:36:28 AM
Electrum does have coin control functionality, But It's very limited. Electrum is the best wallet for newbies. Smiley

I disagree. SPV and/or HD clients are best for people with low storage or low internet speed and/or data. Newbies can also use other wallets like Bitcoin core and Armory.
3657  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering Loans [No Collateral] on: March 24, 2015, 07:30:28 AM
what will I do to have proper collateral? Smiley

If you are asking what is proper collateral, it is something than can easily be resold like alt coin with stable price and min 6 months old.
Read this first before ask for loan https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577765.0

"How old is" doesn't matter, as long as the altcoin is stable and is accepted in most exchanges, you can accept it as collateral. An amount higher than the amount you lend is recommended for safety but it isn't necessary.

User should be banned in my opinion.

Scams aren't moderated.

We should try to keep the lending thread clean, and all he does is fill it with is bullshit.

If a user opens new threads with same request without any reason/need, you can report it. It will be deleted.
3660  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do islam hates people? on: March 24, 2015, 05:01:52 AM
In the 15-minute video that we talked about already, and that I watched, the Bible was interpreted beyond what it says. When you let the Bible interpret itself, it says what it says.

No, it was interpreted correctly. Churches interpret it wrong to make it feel as "true". If it was interpreted as true, Christian religious professor in that video and in 3 hours long video wouldn't loose the debate.

For example, when Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father but by me," He doesn't say that every prophet is or shows the way because all the other prophets are doing the same kind of thing that He was doing. He says it clear and simple. No man goes to the Father except through Jesus. Period.

At that period, no man goes to God except Jesus. Its crystal clear. In other prophet's period, for example, Moses' period, "no man goes to God except through Moses". Jesus also said to follow Muhammad(PBUH) after Jesus' period. So you avoid that commands and only accept the ones which make you feel better? I tell you that when you also accept that commands, it will make you feel better than earlier.

Anyone who says that Jesus is making statements that show any other prophet can make true statements, is a liar, even if he lies in ignorance. Nobody needs to watch the other videos that are presented. The example of the one already watched shows that these others are going to be full of lies as well.

Smiley

Hiding truth is lie than revealing truth. Interesting. Jesus wasn't crucified and Bible was edited numerous times and yet you believe in it? If it was unedited, it wouldn't be a problem. But humans already edited and changed things to their own likes. Smiley
