Im talking about games and rounds section, here are some examples of it that are not closed or moderated in any way by the mods:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=953963.0

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=950942.0

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1019524.0

and many more but there is no point in posting any more

All of them are spam. Mods may not have noticed it.

You are allowed to put your refferal link on your signature
So, when you make promotion, ask users to join through refferal link on your signature
And you might want to use link shortener, so every user can't know the refferal link

Any you should know it already when you join this forum

Still referral spam.

If you pay people to register under your ref link it works on games and rounds, also sometimes when people find new promos or giveaways they give their ref link and a non ref link, seems to be allowed aswell.

Still referral spam.

But i have seen plenty of threads on the games and rounds section doing that and they werent deleted. ??
Just because we don't delete it, doesn't mean it is allowed. We can't possibly read everything on this forum, so we will miss things. If you see stuff like that, report it and it will be handled.
2722  Other / Meta / Re: Remove All Faucets from Service Announcements on: April 23, 2015, 04:03:03 PM
It is worsening. Please create a sub-board.
2723  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BIT-X.com | Bitcoin Debit Card | Spend Your Bitcoins Anywhere! on: April 23, 2015, 03:49:16 PM
Please reconsider inactive fee. Does making 1 ATM transaction per month waive inactive fee?

P.S. Can you also waive 1% exchange fee for BTC/LTC to USD/EUR/GBP conversion as there is already 2.5% exchange fee for USD/EUR/GBP to others currencies conversion? Thank you!
2724  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] BIT-X.com | Exchange BTC, LTC, USD, EUR, GBP | Instantly Mine & Trade GH/s on: April 23, 2015, 03:41:41 PM
am i only one who wants to login and cant get a verification number to my phone?

EDIT: decided to use call me option will i have to pay something for received call?

In some places, receiving text messages from these services takes some time but receiving a call is usually faster. Call option in BIT-X won't cost you anything but it maybe different in other sites.

You can enable Google 2FA which will replace text messages with OTP you get from Google Authenticator or Authy.

Google authenticator is now available! Check it out: https://bit-x.com/account/default/dashboard (under 'Security Section' then 'Two-Factor Authentication')

Enabling it will remove the need to receive a text message with a verification code every time you login. You will still need a valid phone number when signing up.
2725  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.2 btc loan got collaterall on: April 23, 2015, 03:28:38 PM
Please send 20,000[CANN] to CUt8eX9yxrberkwuMbSez5ySAnav2xVdai. I will send 0.2BTC as soon as it get 1 confirmation.

P.S. Please send CANN if you agree to these terms:

 • I have the right to sell enough CANN if the price went too low.
 • I will be storing CANN in an exchange, I am not responsible if they steal these coins.
I hope to have be able to send the coins in around 6-7 hours but i don't agree to have my coin sold even if the price would fall, i'll return the promised ammount in btc so i don'tsee any reason for the collaterall to be sold.

I wil try my best not to sell 'em before the loan is due. I probably won't be online more than 2-3 hours. If you send when I am offline, please don't expect 0.2BTC today.
2726  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I can earn from the Signature campaign? on: April 23, 2015, 03:16:13 PM
I suggest you build a decent reputation on bitcointalk first, newbies, jr, members and members dont make enough money, and its just not worth it, I suggest you start signature campaigns when you're at least a full member, that is , 120 activity, in that case you can earn a good amount of money

An account will have to post to become Full Member. So why don't him/her join a campaign to get a small amount? It is better than spending precious time on useless faucets*. You can play with Bitcoin transactions if the amount you get isn't usable IRL.

* Faucets are precious if you either have lot of referrals or if you are using a bot.
2727  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining Requirements on: April 23, 2015, 03:11:38 PM
Mining is basically dead best to just buy your bitcoins.

Untrue. Mining is still possible and profitable if you have enough money to invest.

Is cex.io still viable?

They stopped their cloud mining service. Now it is just a trading platform.
2728  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] BIT-X.com | Exchange BTC, LTC, USD, EUR, GBP | Instantly Mine & Trade GH/s on: April 23, 2015, 12:18:15 PM
Withdrawal are taking hours now? or is it only on my account having some problems?

They don't take that long normally. I'll take a look into it.

I am waiting too for the withdrawal for about 2h, maybe more, if this helps.

Same here. Looks like everyone is affected. I made wd request over 3 hours ago and it hasn't yet been initiated.

Are wd requests manually approved?

AFAIK no. I think when we withdraw, thy bundle up few withdrawals and send them in one transaction. I am not sure though. I have received the amount I withdrew after a few minutes. It might happened due to lack if funds in hot wallet which I think isn't plausible.
2729  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: 10 Highly Potential Accounts for Sale! Ownership Proved. on: April 23, 2015, 12:04:34 PM
Well that could be misleading. Have you just tried to work out the activity by looking at their sign up date? They could have missed many periods in between otherwise.
It isn't difficult to calculate how much activity each account can reach, it really only takes a few minutes once you have the dates the activity periods ended.

There are a lot of older accounts that posted less then every two weeks and missed several activity periods.

Thanks. I said I can't promise because my calculation might be wrong. Suppose, if it was and I promise, it is scammy even though it was unintentionally.

It wasn't calculated by looking registration date, calculated by looking activity timings. I will try to check. Hope everything is correct.
2730  Other / Meta / Re: 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable on: April 23, 2015, 11:53:06 AM
Yes, I did, just now. "Bad Gateway" for about 10-15 minutes I think. I was sending a PM at the time and lost it.  Embarrassed

Yes. It lasted for some minutes.

If you are lucky, by clicking "backspace" or "back" in browser, you may get what you typed.

Edit:

Down for few seconds here, but isitdownrightnow says bitcointalk..org down since 2 hours and 50 minutes ago. It's weird.

Sometimes you need to refresh the page to get updated date.

Current: “Last Down: 16 mins ago”
2731  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What do you think about Piper Wallet? on: April 23, 2015, 11:48:47 AM
I see your point that it's really expensive. But I think that you get something for the money: a printer, a PI and a cool device. Plus it's easier to print out paper wallets.

What I like to know is how they are generating the private keys.

They probably is using BitAddress.org code. You can see their Github repo: https://github.com/piperwallet/Piper.

2734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: listtransactions not working on: April 23, 2015, 11:23:04 AM
I apologize, I forgot this thread.
I'm now working with walletnotify (php script) + gettransaction, what do you think about?

Looks okay. Check the code for fetching the transaction hex is correct, else, you will get a wrong result when you run "gettransaction". Good luck!

2736  Other / Meta / Re: How is forum activity calculated? on: April 23, 2015, 10:48:49 AM
1 activity = you have spent 1 day on bitcoinstalk forum and you have atlest posted one time during that day, if you post 12 posts in a day you activity dont rise with posts you can get maximum 1 activity in 1 day
you sure about this ?

AFAIK no. There is no such limit but there is another limit, 14 activity per 14 days. You can only get maximum of 14 activity per 14 days. Even if you make all 14 posts in one day, you will get 14 activity points.

2738  Other / New forum software / Advanced filters for PM and option to search in "Outbox"! on: April 23, 2015, 09:29:05 AM
Hello,

I would like to see advanced filters for PM like moving received and upcoming PMs from certain users to certain label(s) that we create . This will help to sort important PMs easily and also, an option to search in outbox will also be helpful. Current search feature doesn't search in outbox. Any suggestions/opinions are welcome. Thank you!
