Manchester United - Sevilla is like an early finale in the tournament now. But Sevilla are not even close to their performance in the previous seasons. They couldn't eliminate Fenerbahçe on the previous round easily as well. Their performance in the La Liga is already a big mess. They are just trying not to relegate from the league I mean. In this situation they have to concentrate on the La Liga more than the Europa League if they don't want to relegate.
Of course they have a chance to win the Europa League title on paper as well but they need to keep these two tournaments balanced. Meanwhile Manchester United can benefit from the situation and eliminate them. After Arsenal have been eliminated by Sporting, Manchester United's chance to win the Europa League title has increased more.
Manchester United has never won Sevilla before, hopefully this might be the game for that first win, Sevilla had the better between the meetings they had with double wins and a single draw. Frankie De Jong is a very talented player who obviously matches the hype so it's no surprise why Manchester United are bent on having him on their team. It's not just why Manchester United are so bent into the dutch lad, the point is that he suits into Erik Ten Hag game plan as we've seen with Ajax and he's trying to recruit same players so as the youngest of players can sit and watch the game. Liverpool is one club that can be unpredictable, One moment they are playing very classic game and the second moment they start having defensive errors. Fulham isn't meant to be a big game for Liverpool but we have had several moment this season where Liverpool played better against Big teams and went all loosed against smaller ones. I wish Liverpool were reliable enough to make big stakes on.
Liverpool literally scored all of them goals against Manchester United already (7-0) believe me they'll find it difficult to score against Fulham during the weekend fixtures. If Napoli was to play Chelsea in the quarter finals then they're getting eliminated. It doesn't matter what form they have been on. Dortmund had all the form but still got eliminated because they lacked the experience of the champions league. This is Napoli first quarter finals but Chelsea has always reached this stages as they even did so last year but got eliminated by the eventual winners Real Madrid. Chelsea will use their experience against them and so will they do if other smaller clubs are been paired with them. I think the only clubs I'm afraid of facing at the moment are Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Manchester City.
Those guys are the only clubs I can say will comfortable defeat Chelsea and even at that Chelsea won't go down without a fight but if we're to get paired with Napoli, Benfica, Milan or inter Milan, we're definitely getting through to the next stage. I love it when Chelsea gets underated because we always achieve something whenever that happens. In 2021 we were also underated and was tipped of losing the final but we all know how that went. If Chelsea can avoid those three clubs in the quarter finals then we can still shock the world this season as well.

Manchester United vs Real betis was a boring game for me. I expected Real Betis to try to get goals and fight to remain in the Champions league but obviously Manchester United are just too strong for them and United won in the second leg to seal their place in the next rounds of the tournament. Arsenal’s game was very exiting to watch, I enjoyed every bit of it, Porto came on strong and played beautifully. The penalty shootout made the match more dramatic.
What do you expect from Manchester United to score more four goals ? That was a good way to play the returning fixture, they have a premier league game during the weekend they'll have to save them strength for that game against Fulham. Beautiful goal from Marcus Rashford that was beautifully taken. Big credits to Bruno Fernandez, he's been a top player who hasn't been noticed for what he does. For the past 7 years, The highest number of injury players recorded in football is that of chelsea . About 11 players were on injury and I don't believe such can happen to a club like real Madrid. The highest that can go on injury in real Madrid is 5 players and this will not affect a team like Madrid who's first and second team is a collection of stars. Attributing real Madrid poor performance completely to be injury is what I don't subscribe to. Real Madrid isn't an average team, the club has it's own way of dealing with injury. I will support this say if it were to be a team like Liverpool or PSG.

It's interesting that you left Chelsea out of your list of strong contenders for the Champions League quarterfinals. I believe this is due to their current form and how they performed in league games. Mind you, this is the Champions League; if Chelsea can still beat a team like Dortmund, who are in good form and lost to them in the first leg, don't you think that team is very good in this league despite poor performance in their domestic league? Manchester United has really enjoyed and entertained their fans with good football this season but I think the reason behind their current position in the league table and their very slim chances of winning the league at the end of the season is because of the inconsistency in the clubs fine performances.
Erik Ten Hag is doing a great job but still has a lot work to do in order to regain the club's past glory. Another issue they have in the club right now is lack of a lethal and clinical top 9 striker. Rashford had been in excellent form this season but he's better when playing from the flanks than as a center forward
Playing Bruno Fernandez on the flank and Wout Weghorst dropping deep to serve as the attacking midfielder has helped made Marcus Rashford a free player allowing him to explore the field and be in the right spot and making the right runs for goal.
