This is really insane. You almost triple your investment profile. That is extremely crazy in the investment world. Just purely based on btc, with a profit of 33% is still consider very impressive and all these happen only within 7months, the full year profit can be as high as 50%.

triple = 3x
3x 5BTC = 15BTC Wink

but yeah, this is great. i have been following this from the start and the profit that these sites are giving are pretty awesome. specially the two with an almost stable profit over time!
but it is still pretty risky, and that is something that we have to keep in mind. one good thing that OP does is keeping the history in the chart and you can see other investments that have not performed well at all. like the orange line from bitvest.
What he means by OP almost tripled his balance is from $ (USD) amount, OP was bought BTC when it was still at ~$600/BTC and invested it. Started from $3000, and now almost $9000 ($3000*3).

Yah i am referring to the currency values, not the btc amount. If one can easily increase its btc amount, like x3 within a year, most likely it will be a scam. That is why a lot of these HYIP that promise you 100-200% or even more return within a year are non sustainable.

yeah sorry my eyes just don't see the USD value anymore when it comes to bitcoin because it has turned into something meaningless since i am just holding long term and only deal with bitcoin anyways.
besides going from $600 to $1284 is kind of a tiny rise for me Grin
3642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to dump ETH? on: March 30, 2017, 07:07:03 AM
I got out on the way up never expecting it to go even till now. I hope it pops soon but now I'm out It probably won't Cheesy

Stay pimping..

When the bitcoin price starts to rise, it might drop against bitcoin. But in the long term, ETH will rise.

Absolutely. But some times ETH price follow the bitcoin price rises.

not really ethereum is pumped right now and it needs to drop. it is resisting so far because the fear and uncertainty is not yet lifted from the market and gullible investors still think there is no manipulation in ETH markets.

and no ETH will not follow the bitcoin price rises. if bitcoin starts rising today you can kiss your ETH investment goodbye because it is in a bubble and it will be a catastrophic burst.

but sometimes when it is at the bottom there is lots of manipulations to keep it from going to hell.
see this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1724160.0 and try to remember it next time.
3643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple - Why is the value not higher with all it's features. on: March 30, 2017, 06:53:38 AM
the same reason why Dogecoin is not worth more, the same reason why Ethereum will never go higher than certain price levels when the distribution of the ICO happens fairly and whales don't control 90% of the supply.

it is all about a very simple rule of supply and demand the demand of altcoins will always be inferior and there is nothing to change that. and when the supply is huge there will always be coins available for people to buy without making the price go up.

to put simple when something is scarce it becomes valuable, if you could find Gold grow on trees the value of it would be close to nothing.

I saw lot of v.i.p who are winning on the game and i really love watching them with amuzement i don't know how they can make it is in martingale or they have lot of money to play and to risk to make it a big profit in bitsler.

you can start hanging out in the website and start watching the high rollers tab to see how most of them make bets, and it is sometimes exiting to see that much bitcoin in one bet in a high roll Smiley
but from what i have seen it is usually not martingale they use. they mostly use low multipliers with high chance of win and make bets that way.
3645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I think the potential of BTC is over on: March 29, 2017, 08:46:12 AM
I don't think that Ethereum is going to destroy Bitcoin or anything but you're just completely in denial about how Bitcoin is doing and how it will continue to do.  Today, I sent a normal transaction of a fairly small amount of Bitcoin and to get it confirmed within an hour I had to pay a fee of more than 2mBTC.  It's really bad,
did you see anywhere that i am denying the fact that fees have gone up? of course not, i am just as pissed as anybody else. but to say it is a problem and bitcoin is going to hell is just dumb! so you used to pay a low fee and now you are paying 30-40 cents per transaction, that is not called "a lot of trouble"

and no matter how much people meaninglessly scream "shitcoin" it's not going to stop Ethereum having more than a quarter of Bitcoin's market cap, which it does.
market cap is not a valid thing to compare cryptocurrencies.

but since you like it let me explain. this is what ETH did:
they held an ICO and controlled a big chunk of then 80 million coins in their own hands. then there is no max supply for the coin so new coins are being mined nonstop, right now it is around 90 million coins. a simple calculation is 90 million * price = market cap
but the problem is the 90 million coins are not in circulation. i would be surprised if i know anything more than 10 million is open to public. which means real ETH market cap is 1/9 of what it is now.

It's not just an attack on the network either.  Bitcoin's transaction volume has been steadily going up with its price for a long time and its usage has just objectively reached its limit.
you are right about the usage going up but not about the attack.  you need to watch the mempool a bit then you'll understand. when some entity(s) start injecting the mempool with hundreds of transaction in a couple of seconds and continue keeping the number up for days.
click on some of the transactions and look at them carefully. you can even find some topics in this board about it.

I expected to look at Ethereum's transaction volume and conclude that the price rise is just a pump, but its transaction volume is about the same fraction of Bitcoin's as its market cap, which is very surprising to me.  It really is getting somewhere and we need to stop shouting at people who admit that (or trying to shut them up).
i am not trying to shut anybody up, i just can't stand nonsense Smiley
with that said i am very interested to see what people say about ethereum in a year (on 2018-3-29) when the blockchain size of it is 400-500 GB and there were only a handful of nodes available making the security practically non-existant, when there has been another non-consensus-hard-fork which splits ETH to another 2 chains (3 in total) and when there is another exploit like DAO or even when another serious bug were found in the poorly written code.
or when the attackers on bitcoin decided to pay a visit to ETH blockchain Wink
3646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] $MUSIC on: March 29, 2017, 05:53:46 AM
why would you even want to be added to Yobit!
there is already bittrex and the coin is showing a very promising future, there is already 417BTC volume on bittrex and it has only been 8 hours since it was added to bittrex and price is rising super fast!

you should instead think about being added to bigger exchanges like poloniex in the next step.
3647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the bombs today? Give your opinion or information privileged. on: March 29, 2017, 05:23:05 AM
MUSIC Grin
it is a dumb coin but it is being traded with mad daily volume, there was a rather lengthy accumulation phase going on in cryptopia exchange and then since it was a high volume coin they added it to bittrex and now it is being pumped for the past few hours. gone from 160-200 satoshi to 1179, there was a short dump down to 600 and now it seems to be rising again.
3648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I think the potential of BTC is over on: March 29, 2017, 05:08:04 AM
So what's the real allure or value of Dash?
I get ETH, certainly a future there, although the price may be inflated now on mere news and no results.
What happened to the silver to Bitcoin's gold, you never hear about Litecoin anymore? Dust in the wind?

ethereum is not even a currency, and it never were supposed to be on. and the centralization is enough for anyone to say no to using it.

and you don't hear anything about litecoin because it is not pumped. let it pump someday to 2x, 3x then all you hear is how good litecoin is and when the pump is over and dump begins, we are back to not hearing about it again. like any other altcoin that is pumped!
3649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It is not worth it, right? on: March 29, 2017, 05:03:04 AM
Many people here are asking "How gambling can benefits us by winning" on it using strategy like Martingale, or pure luck when we are playing DICE?
But I'm just wondering when do people will realize that gambling can never be the one that could benefits us, because the truth is, we could lose the thing that we can't lose to afford before we could be benefited by gambling.

this only comes from a wrong idea of thinking of gambling as way to make money, or as an investment. and you can see many call gambling as that. but the fact of the matter is that gambling is a risky thing, yes we enjoy playing it and yes we can make profit sometimes even big amount of it but in the end if you get unlucky, you are losing too.

and also when people think of gambling a way to make profit, they will end up trying too hard and making all the wrong decisions and that leads to more losses than normal.
3650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum pump and advertising campaign on: March 29, 2017, 04:51:18 AM
In the weekly we see how low it was expressive, at the moment it is much more preferable to operate in a new fall than to try to operate the purchase now, in this case we will expect a price retraction up to 0.5 or 0.618 of fibonnaci of the last low leg to enter with the New sales with fractional targets to minimize the risks seeking the first target in 0.618 expansion, 0.786 and lastly 100%.

i assure you it will all come down to bitcoin price. if bitcoin stays above $1000 and continues rising like normal meaning if it gets out of this bear market and enters the next bull run you can kiss Ethereum price goodbye because like last time the dumps will start and the series of them will crash the market easy.

but if bitcoin stays in this state or if ETH bag holders get lucky and bitcoin price goes down, you can expect another small pump.
3651  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I think the potential of BTC is over on: March 29, 2017, 04:42:47 AM
In the future,BITCCOIN Will also continue in the position of the virtual currency system Ranked first?
bitcoin is not a "virtual" currency it is a real currency. it doesn't get any more real than that.
and so far bitcoin has been and still is the onlycryptocurrency that exists. all the rest are trading toys called altcoin which are falsely using the word coin or currency in their description.

Although most of the virtual currency acquired from BTC the original design, but the virtual currency would significantly more than BTC development.
i don't understand this sentence Cheesy

The intelligence of the ETH contract, for example, the DASH of pos node development are far more than BTC
if you really think that, and if you are really ok with a centralized coin and a coin with a significant amount of premine, and a coin that has whales controlling the price and pump and dump it 50%-200% then go ahead and use them nobody is preventing you Wink

And BTC is now facing a simple Blockchain congestion problem
the only problem that bitcoin is facing is the spam attack and nothing else.

In the future, all kinds of virtual currencies rise, BTC will in no. 1?
duplicate of your first question!

Yes, BTC is indeed a pioneer, but 1 MB Blockchain, bring me a lot of trouble, but also accelerate the confirmation fee is higher and higher
it is not the 1MB block size that "brings you a lot of trouble" it is the spam attack and there is a big difference.

makes me have to choose other virtual currency for transfer of property Embarrassed
what other altcoin did you use to transfer! and who even accepts them in the world! nobody that's who Smiley

3652  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason for current hike in bitcoin on: March 28, 2017, 05:29:34 AM
Well the current hike has gone down a lot
Now i would suggest u to buy the bitcoins and hold on tight to sell the bitcoins in the mid of april .well statistically it can be said that the price of bitcoins will go high up then .
I think the ongoing price increase is the real increase of the revolutionary bitcoin. From the beginning it has been moving forward focusing on growth. At some circumstances it falls due to some sort of technical backlog and get solved in a short. The current price move will be effective for long time period.

you two need to seriously take a look at "DATE" of the topics and learn to "READ" the topic first before posting some random answer.

this topic is old and it is asking about the 10 of March sudden rise to above $1300 in a couple of minutes. and if you read the first couple of comments you'll see the speculative reason for it.
3653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BitcoinDark +1000% in 1 Day? on: March 28, 2017, 05:17:40 AM
because simply as i said before, it is the pumpers in the altcoin community moving from one project to another. they have pumped the biggest coins and are exiting those by dumping them. you can see ETH and Dash taking the biggest dumps.

and when these whales take their money out, they don't take it back to their banks, instead they put it in another altcoin. and while people are still waiting for ETH and Dash to go higher, other altcoins go up this much and they miss out.

p.s. it wasn't 1000+% it was 600-700%
3654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think it's reasonable to say... on: March 28, 2017, 05:03:18 AM
..that now when there is more than 22 billions of dollars in cryptocurrencies world new great projects such as Iconomi or Lisk will have much faster/easier growth in price then they would 1 year ago when for example ETH started pumping?

I guess more people are trading nowdays, more money is overall in the cryptocurrencies and i would say the growth of the new great projects should be way faster then last year in in the same period.

it is possible that there is more traders today than it was before because it is a growing market after all. but your conclusion is wrong because you are just looking at a short term statistics. instead you should take a look at bigger picture.
the rises in both price and the total volume, marketcap,... are only numbers if you don't know what it is you are looking at. and all of these "stats" went up because we are in a pumping season. and in a pumping season a lot of money/BTC flies in and after the season is over they all fly out the same way they came in.
3655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CAN WE SEND BTC WITHOUT ANY FEES??? on: March 28, 2017, 04:48:28 AM
If that site sending bitcoin without fees...then how that site can survive without fees...

what site is that?

in case you are talking about Coinbase or i think Xapo or any other service, they DO send the transactions with fees if they are doing an on-chain transaction and they don't need fees if it is off-chain and inside their own website from account to account;
they just don't take the fees from their users. and they compensate it with other types of fees they take from their users such as the fee they take for purchasing bitcoin and the higher price of bitcoin.

3658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: March 27, 2017, 05:39:53 AM
Analysis sometimes help on winning but it is not necessary that you will win if you analyze as you use it on gambling, Because it can just help you to increase your winning chance.
No one can predict what will be the result but just like what you have said, We have the control and responsibility on playing so we choose to believe on analysis can help us on winning then stick to it.

you need to specify what kind of game you are talking about. in general i disagree with you and think you are wrong.
in games that are skill based, you are completely wrong. they absolutely need analysis and lots of thinking to make the best bet and increase the chances of winning and improve the overall end result. there is no other way around it.
in games that are not skill based, you can be right. because this group is only based on chance and chance doesn't change much with analysis and strategy. although i should add that they can help. you can have a better game if you do some analysis of that game and come up with a better strategy instead of random betting.
3659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How DASH is stealing investors money - pyramid scheme revealed. on: March 27, 2017, 05:32:35 AM
you have a good point, although i don't think we can call it "pyramid scheme" exactly.
we all know that Dash has been premined and that alone means the supply is low and if those owning the premine decide to hold off and spread some hype in the market price goes up already. and it is just a pump and dump scheme which is a perfectly common thing in alternative cryptocurrencies. people sometimes forget why these coins were created in the first place.
3660  Economy / Speculation / Re: why i'm not selling my coins on: March 27, 2017, 05:25:05 AM
To be honest if im going to sell my coins i just lose the chance that bitcoin will increase and make another profit from it grabing the chance of holding bitcoins to our bitcoin wallet is the best opportunity for me since i am small time incomer in bitcoin. I also saved 25% of my profit every time i get it from trading , gamblig and other freelance also.

That's the right thing to do hold your coins for the future and if you sell them now then the profit margin would be not too high so this is not the best time to sell your coins but if you can save them for future and wait for the price to go higher would be the best decision to make at a moment.

I just checked the value now, it's again dumped to 960$ now. We need huge adoption in upcoming days to increase the value of bitcoins. However, at this situation we can hold the bitcoins as much we can and sell it out when it again touched the peak value.

Yeah, there has been a ton of volatility lately. It has been a roller coaster for sure. I start to get a bit worried when I see the price under $1000 now, but I'm sure it will recover once the uncertainty subsides.

the price went up above $1000 yesterday, and in my observation that shows a good buy support and a willing market to buy bitcoin up, the demand is still there and hasn't gone anywhere, and it is not going to either. its just that the panic is still there too and the $1000 price is always going to be a psychological barrier for bitcoin price where people have their sell targets there.
and this only means a bit more time is needed.
