I miss the good old days. I had to sell my bitcoin over the years because of medical bills and I wish I had some, bitcoin was a big part of my life for a decade. I'm extremely depressed.
Not just about the money but I miss running 10 nodes to help bitcoin, paper wallets, all the websites, mining, vanitygen, so many memories flood back. I remember my BFL and KNC miners, Bitinstant, Amir Taaki and I still have my alpaca socks. I did so many escrows back in the day.
I'm finding it impossible moving on with my life and in a deep depression, it's like losing my life partner, bitcoin basically became my life. Please no donations, just support.
same as you but your bitcointalk account more older than me and i still remember there's FPGA miner and oh yea mining with USB Stick i have some that but its already gone. Like i tell in the other post my account got hacked and i just retrieve it in january 2020 and i already sell my bitcoin when around $500 and right now kinda hard to earn money again. and don't give up like i do even tho only watch the bitcoin rising up with smiley face :') |

You should leave it. Bittrex was one of good exchange in past but nowadays it getting worst.so i already leave that exchange years ago cause they usually did such kind of thing not only with bitcoin but also with others altcoin and thus they try to manupulate market.but that's not fair and can't be tolerated.if you are doing trade there then u would rather leave it immediately with your fund and choice some good exchange

I earned from bounty and translation service with total amount in my address 5.1 BTC from 2014-2016 and i already withdraw it all when bitcoin around $573 per coin i dont know will be ATH in 2017 my account got hacked i dont know how to retrive it till 2020 and now i dont have it even 0.00000 all so yeah my LIFEEE is unpredictable and watch another ATH with smile face :')

In our country, they put some heave tax on smoke and liquor so that the people will consider to check their financial status and maybe quit those things. It helps a lot of people to quit their bad habits and until now, they continue doing it with no backing out on the rules they implement. If those people who currently smoke have a mindset like the one who started this thread, they can have some chance to use the amount they spend on such things for even more benefits like investing in BTC or any other good purposes to invest their money with.
Where do you live its seem good to live there I am live in indonesia and most people here are smoking even a kid  sad watch that but indonesia still development country and most of the tax revenue from cigar its very high to develop my country itself  i hope in near future indonesia can start using your country rules |

Hi!
I just wanted to use bitcoin.com wallet for android and it warned me because of high transaction fees (around 20 $).
I cancelled and started a new transaction and it did not warn me again (around 8$).
This was maybe 30 seconds apart and I have no idea what to think about this but is this maybe a cheap way to advertise BCH?
If yes I want to switch software of course. Which software for android is trustworthy?

and currently bitcoin high fees because there is so much transaction and bitcoin price keep rising up since most exchange doesn't have flexible fee withdraw Im currently using trustwallet(MultiCoin) and metamask for the ethereum i try backup my phrase key from trust wallet and try it on metamask its work fine |

Personally to quit smoke is difficult and equally not easy to stop, if your purpose is to eliminate, I think little by little it will be good whereas we couldn't forcing to anyone's best for their key of stress, but soon I think it is suitable to break through more budget for smoke as an additional investment for trading Bitcoin, I guess buying Bitcoin every weekend is perfect than smoking.
Total True i personally sometimes smoke e-cigarette quit smoke is hard because of nikotin in it even e-cigar have on their liquid. Candy is friend to people who want to quit smoke. and investing bitcoin is good choice with cost dollar averaging technic |

There's more than just Bitcoin and Ethereum. Many other blockchains were or are now just as good for DeFi as Ethereum. Or at least close enough. There's quite a competition there you seem to have missed out completely. I don't see a good reason for Bitcoin care at all about this and I think that Bitcoin side chains has lost the train for this. So it's imho it's closer to "failed experiment", although it's not even known enough to be called like that by such a number so it would matter... But don't worry. I am not convinced that DeFi does indeed worth the hassle... In fact bitcoin have USDT in Omni layer and also in tron and much more well eth right know is popular but the other blockchain will gain more popularity maybe people not using Omni because the high fee but maybe people can using it for something else |

It's actually GOOD that Warren Buffett has missed a golden opportunity to invest in one of the largest asset price moves of the century. How long must the network exist before these people accept Bitcoin as an asset, and as a protocol?

if we look at the current price we can easily see that these price forecasts are no longer unrealistic. even a few years ago when Tom Lee was talking about $ 25,000 it seemed like a joke and today we are at $29,000 and it is at a level that is already impossible to fall below $25,000 or even below $20,000. we can say with certainty that it is going to $40,000 without any problem and it can even be said that it is impossible that it does not break $30,000. so I no longer see how these predictions can be unrealistic. can you tell what was the price forecast that you consider unrealistic
well you true bitcoin price is hard to predict before this i just thought that bitcoin price will hit 25.000 next year i mean this month, but december 2020 its already break 25.000 so its crazy |
