There are a lot of things that I don't like about BTCSportsmatch but I want to look into it more and get player feedback before a change in rating. They are currently a "D". I really could care less about being anonymous but they opened in 2011 and are anonymous.

They don't have a lot of players online and have no offers up in small markets. It looks like there are bots that are immediately accepting offers. nscala just brought up the discussion on BTCSportsmatch and more time is needed for an accurate assessment.

Thanks DirectBet, Jetwin and Casinobitco.in for posting the NCAA information.

I just received verification on this. If you make an offer at BTCSportsmatch and there is a line change, your offer will stand at the new line.

I don't understand how neither you nor nscala1 are not disturbed by this.

If I understand correctly, if I want Lakers -1 and it goes to -2, someone can match me at the changed line of -2?
Or does it only mean that my offer stands if the line improves for me? E.g. I want Lakers -2, it changes to Lakers -1, and I get matched at the better line.

Likewise, if I want Lakers -2 -110, and it goes to -2 -120, someone can match me at the worse line (which I don't want)?

I must be misunderstanding something, as this would be a disaster and I can't imagine any exchange functioning in this manner and having customers.

I would never bet blind. Here's what I wrote a year ago.

BTCSportsmatch : This is an exchange that has been up for 2 years and has potential. You get an actual account that you put bitcoins into so you know what has been accepted and what is not accepted. Winners pay a 1% fee and the lines are Pinny no-vig. The problem is that if there are line changes, your offer moves to the line change price and it's good unless you cancel prior to an acceptance.

In post #1, you still haven't corrected your misspelling of casinobitco.in - "Casinobitcoin B", although you acknowledged the misspelling a few weeks ago.

Since so many bitcoin sportsbooks have similar names, I feel it's important to use the correct names.
As well as being professional. And preventing people from being scammed by phishing sites which try to trap people who misspell a site's name.

I'm unclear as to why you wouldn't want to correct this.
corrected. There's no reason. Some books are .com, some .cc and others .eu. I think that I always leave that out. Casinobitco.in even uses the handle of "casinobitco".

gogo- if I misspell it in the future, it's not a slight against you. I just may not remember since I do it the other way with the rest of the books.

Non of the reviews are honest. Because of affiliate programs.

Ours are honest since the players play a huge role in the ratings. Not one book received a ratings boost after we put up their banners. In fact, posters are saying that Nitrogen should have a higher rating and we held them back because they are fairly new to the scene. If all goes smooth for March Madness and player support remains the same they will get a boost. Betcoin does not have a banner up and they are the 2nd highest rated book.

any other books offer ingame wagering on NCAA tourney?

any trusted bracket sites?

RIP Bitbook / why did they leave!?

NitrogenSports is sponsoring a free 3 BTC bracket contest. Click my link in the signature if you would like to enter. Nitrogen is holding the prize money and will pay out the winners.

Thanks Peeps Place.  I'll definitely check it out!

Congrats on your big day today. I hope it continues for the tourney.

Books- I don't want to take this thread too far off course but the NCAA tournament is right around the corner and the following may be of interest to players:

1. Are you taking bets on the individual games? sides, totals, props?
2. What are the limits?
3. Will you have live betting?

If you hop on the site at any given time, I admit the liquidity is not very high. BUT when i put offers up they were accepted. I am absolutely loving it and my review is completely unbiased. Good luck if you try it. I am dickieV on the website.
Were your offers accepted immediately or did you have to wait some time?
3671  Economy / Gambling / Re: Coinbet?? on: March 15, 2014, 11:39:13 PM
@CoinBetNow, can you please comment the fact that it's not possible to verify your supposed costa rica gambling license?
This topic was addressed before concerning Coinbet and other books. An online gaming license is not required in Costa Rica. Coinbet meets the requirements to run a sports book.

I just received verification on this. If you make an offer at BTCSportsmatch and there is a line change, your offer will stand at the new line. They also have a chat feature. It currently shows 9 members online.

From your previous posts, I believe what you say 100%. At first glance it looks as though they are using Pinny no-vig for their MLs. It also looks as though they aren't seeding (placing their own bets) which is a great thing for us since they are not risking anything. That was just a first impression.
3674  Economy / Gambling / Re: Ratings for all the bitcoin sports books on: March 15, 2014, 05:19:30 PM
That's great to hear. When I played with them there wasn't any liquidity and when my offers were accepted sometimes I got a different line. I'll go back and try it out again since it's been a while and it looks like things have greatly changed.
3675  Economy / Gambling / Re: Ratings for all the bitcoin sports books on: March 15, 2014, 05:13:08 PM
Well, I have tried btcsportsmatch.com and heres my review.

Deposits are near instant. Cashouts are literally instant and automated.

Bets are vig free and great. Might be a tad harder to get action on every single thing you want but when you do it is vig free. Winner of the bet pays 1%. The odds do not compare to anything else. Btcsportsmatch blows it away. Coming as a big player from bit book, I am extremely happy with this site.

You should reconsider your review of grading this book a D. Payouts are instant and betting odds are second to none.
Thanks, I will definitely look into it. Were you making offers or accepting? What did you think of the liquidity of the different markets?
3676  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitBook.biz - Bitcoin sportsbook - Instant Withdrawals - Widely Trusted on: March 15, 2014, 03:43:22 AM
First, I'd love to hear from bitbook as to the reason for shutting down. Second, I've been looking for a replacement and so far, I've tried nitrogen (feel free to use my link! https://nitrogensports.eu/r/12155). I'm not sure I'm 100% sold on it yet. I just deposited a small amount and put in my first wagers for this weekend. We'll see how it goes. I'd love to hear if there is a better book out there...
Nitrogen is a strong book. I think you will like them. All the book ratings are here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=448302.0

Look at that address I posted for sbobitcoin. What are your thoughts on that? Am i wrong in my assumption that its sketchy? It looks as if they have a small amount of deposits but take high bets. Looks like they are 1 big winners away from running. I am sorry to be a pain but I was looking to deposit 20 coins and do 3-5 btc wagers on ncaa tomorrow.

nscala1 - SBObitcoin.com is an agent. They accept one's bitcoins and then deposit 4k in Hong Kong dollars per bitcoin into the book of one's choice of the 3 they are agents for.

They are not taking large bets - Pinnacle, SBOBet and IBCBet take the action and payout. When one cashes out, SBobitcoin collects from the book, and then pays out at the same rate they took in - 4k HKD pays out one bitcoin.

I assume they're storing their btc in cold storage, or convert it to another currency until a cashout.
I'm not sure of this, but I don't see how they could only have taken in 105 btc since opening a few months ago.

I haven't tried a cashout yet. Perhaps i will withdraw what's left in the sportsbook account, and then redeposit it later in the week, just for the experience.

Can others who use sbobitcoin comment please on their experiences.
I took a payout with no problem although I forget if it was instant or not. I went through live chat to do it.

Hi peeps, Can u look into coinbet and see what the story is? The site seems to be down again and when it was up last night i couldn't log in with my info. Thanks
will do
3679  Economy / Gambling / Re: Ratings for all the bitcoin sports books on: March 14, 2014, 08:42:36 AM
I think that Anonibet has huge limits with a maximum withdrawal of 500 BTC. They also have a clean record and have been around since 2011.
3680  Economy / Gambling / Re: Ratings for all the bitcoin sports books on: March 14, 2014, 08:40:45 AM
Books- I like it would be helpful to all if you chimed in with your maximum limits for at least soccer, NBA and NCAA basketball.
