@rdbase. Breaking news. Deebo Samuel and Fred Warner are injured and they will not play versus the Seattle Seahawks. They are the best of the offense and the defense of San Francisco. I am not certain how the spread should be, however, I reckon -3.5 for San Francisco should be -2.5 for less than a field goal?

Also, this is a divisional game. I am quite certain that Russel Wilson will certainly play and both 49ers and the Seahawks will play to win.
3662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Another Ethereum killer? The next Bitcoin? on: December 01, 2021, 03:51:34 AM
I would have trusted his word as Solana the Ethereum killer and believed him if Solana did not have a network outage on September 14. Also, I like Sam Bankman-Fried. He will be the next Jeff Bezos of the world, I reckon. However, shilling Solana as something that would become the next Bitcoin, as mentioned in the article, is a scam statement. I did not expect such things to come out from him, who is supposed to guide the community.

Bankman-Fried adds that Solana’s market cap could exceed Ethereum’s market. However, it is hard to make a concrete prediction. But one thing that cannot be disputed is that Solana fixes a lot of problems with Ethereum. These include high gas fees and low transaction rates. Subsequently, many have dubbed the network “ethereum killer.”

Bankman-Fried believes that in terms of scale, not many blockchains could compare to Solana. Earlier this month, he spoke at Yahoo Finance and Decrypts’s “Crypto Goes Mainstream” conference.

“Solana is one of the few currently existing public blockchains that has a really plausible roadmap to scale millions of transactions per second at you know, fractions of a penny per transaction, which is a scale that you need for this,” Bankman-Fried said.

“That is not where a lot of other blockchains have been focusing, including ethereum.”

I predict the American government to become very desperate and begin calling cryptocoin users as terrorists and they will create a storyline that they are part of a larger conspiracy to destabilize everything.

Probably.  And yet the US are effectively the biggest threat to themselves.  When your domestic policy can't pay for your foreign policy, it's time to stop looking for new enemies to make.

Go on, America, start another fight you can't possibly win.  I dare you.  After all, you've accomplished so much with the 'war on drugs' and the 'war on terror', I can't wait to see how the 'war or crypto' pans out for you.     Roll Eyes

However, I am very skeptical if the American government wants to win the war on drugs, the war in terror or their new war on crypto. They will let it continue and grow for as long as it will take for them to collect funding from the national budget. They are not fighting to win, they are fighting to scam.

In any case, would it be better for the cryptospace if Trump won? Where are those democrat larpers in the cryptospace? They have been very quiet in social media.
3664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NFL Sportsbet.io discussion & predications thread rev on: November 30, 2021, 04:21:33 AM
@ralle14. The Buccaneers were very lucky on the final minutes of the game. The Colts defense were controlling them for much of the game and with Tom Brady only having 11 fantasy points in our fantasy league.

It also appears you are correct with the Redskins hehe. Seattle is only 3 - 7 in the NFL and at the bottom of their division. They are also 1 - 4 on the road. The only win on the road was versus San Francisco during the 49ers’ losing streak.
3665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 30, 2021, 03:47:26 AM
The storyline for Teofimo Lopez’s father continues as if they had the victory and clearly remains to appear to be delusional of his son’s loss. There would be no chance for Josh Taylor to fight Teofimo Lopez after a loss. He should first fight in a rematch vs. Kambosos and regain all of the championships.

This will be a good opportunity for Lomachenko, I reckon. He will challenge Kambosos after a win vs. Commey then move up and challenge the undisputed champion Josh Taylor as also an undisputed champion. Lopez’s plan will be Lomachenko’s plan hehehehe.

The only adjustment that Teofimo Lopez Jr. is expected to make is adding five pounds to his frame.

I don’t need no rematch, man. My mistake was leaving my son at 135 for so long,” Teofimo Lopez Sr., Lopez’s father and head trainer told SecondsOut’s ‘Radio’ Rahim Davies after Saturday’s DAZN-streamed main event.

“We’re gonna go up to 140, we’re gonna get a fight in February and then fight [lineal/WBA/WBC/IBF/WBO champ] Josh Taylor (18-0, 13KOs) in the springtime,” insisted the elder Lopez.

3666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: November 30, 2021, 02:29:54 AM

Is it an exaggeration to say that politicians have always been taking advantage of their elective positions to steal money from their own people and country? What country are you from, can you say that your government is run by honest people?

Also, the IMF is angry because Tether appears to competing vs. the IMF’s monopoly on global financing and lending to countries and governments hehe.

Haha, talking about my country, there are many people who take advantage illegally in the government.  I may be too naive to think that all of this was planned with good intentions, but indeed this project provides a great opportunity for those who intend to do money laundering.  Such is the case in a Swiss bank which strictly maintains the confidentiality of its customers so that it is used as a place to store assets resulting from corruption by officials in my country.  Isn't it like this, there is no chance for Bitcoin to advance?  Should the political stance behind the big Bitcoin project continue to be a constraint?

No chance of bitcoin to advance? It has advanced! This is where the difference in attitude between me and you. On the reality that bitcoin, tether and the cryptospace is being used to create a city without asking for a loan from the IMF or the banking guild is evidence of bitcoin’s advancement. This includes it also being used in money laundering, tax evasion and all other illegal forms of financial crime.

My wish is to witness a united South America under a system of Tether and all of them redollarized out of poverty.

@DooMAD. Agreed and as I have mentioned in my post before this already. On Hillary’s statement, a non-state actor can be the hustlers behind Tether, the cryptocoin developers including Bitcoin’s development team or it can also be the cryptospace community.

I predict the American government to become very desperate and begin calling cryptocoin users as terrorists and they will create a storyline that they are part of a larger conspiracy to destabilize everything.

In any case, Fulton vs. Figueroa was also very good. It was a majority victory for Fulton. I think it was a better fight than Lopez vs. Kambosos.
For me the Lopez - Kambosos really lived to its hype, there's a lot of drama involved in the build-up, in the conferences and weigh-in even at the start of the fight, Lopez makes us all believe that he can knock Kambosos out in the first out, it's the biggest upset of the year for me, many looked down on Kambosos and many believed that this a tune-up for Lopez for big fights, but many of us are wrong and proved that Kambosos proved to be a better fighter, have you all noticed how audiences are booing Lopez after he stated that he wins the fight by 10-2, he is very delusional and drunk on his success.

He will realized that he made a mistake with his statement once he watches the entire fight. If he will insist that he won on this, I guess a lot of his fans will unfollow him. He is not showing sportsmanship after this fight because of all the drama surrounding before this fight, he is full of himself that he will win on this fight at early rounds. But Kambosos was ready and showed his power inside the ring and gave him the 'slapping' he needed in the last 2 rounds.

The boxing world lost respect on Teofimo for arguing that he won the fight 10-2 and even his father is insisting that his son won the fight by a wide margin and on all rounds, someone close to them should tell them straight to their face that Teo loss the match and Kambosos is the clear winner of the fight, Teofimo is hav ing second thought of a rematch because he is afraid now of Kambosos power.

Agreed. In all honestly I did not follow everything about Lopez before the fight. I am only watching some of the videos of press conferences and the preparations and it appears that Lopez has lost his priority in the sport and has become something similar to Conor McGregor. This can also be blamed to his father, I reckon. The father’s behavior is not very good for his son’s career. They should return all concentration only to boxing and training.
3669  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2022-11-27] Hillary Clinton Warns of China and Russia ‘Manipulating’ Crypto on: November 29, 2021, 05:28:00 AM
Bitcoin has become more as a speculative investment.
Unfortunately, that's true.

also the cryptospace market proved this. Have you noticed how USDT has hyperdollarized everything in the cryptospace? Every altcoin was priced in BTC before 2017, presently it is in USDT.
Yes, I've noticed that in some of the platforms, but I still think we're giving them way more credit than they deserve [it's just more practical and feasible].

Also, based on her interview non-state actors imply people who are not working for the government. It can be those hustlers behind Tether, it can be the cryptocoin developers or it can be the community.
You're right, but I was referring to the part that said: "in concert with states [sorry, I forgot to highlight it (my bad)]".

I am sorry, however, I disagree. I do not know where some people might have been for the last 3 years if they argue that Tether’s hyperdollarization has not occured. But hyperdollarization has not only occured in some platforms, it has occured in the whole cryptospace. USDT is carrying the highest volume, it is the most used stablecoin on most of the exchanges and much of the market makers use it to maintain orderbooks.

Also, you are mistaken, Hillary’s statement is telling everyone that non-state actors is the danger with or without the help of corrupt officials. We might witness stricter rules and regulations for the cryptospace beginning on 2022.
3670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: November 28, 2021, 07:28:43 AM

It is a cooperation and not a condition where who is influencing who. The skeptical me is speculating that Blockstream wants to create this project for profit, president Bukele wants the project because it is another place where he and his friends can use it for money laundering and Tether, Bitfinex, iFinex is the liquidity and shadow banking provider. This is only business.

I see the views of friends regarding this project are becoming increasingly critical, behind the big plan of the president of El Salvador and it has been highlighted even in my country's national media even the media say this action makes the IMF angry, on the other hand you explain the possibility of the reason behind this is the opportunity to facilitate corruption  .  Isn't this an exaggeration?  Or is there any clear evidence?  I thought this would have a positive impact on the market but it didn't.  The forum's response even shows suspicion on him.

3671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 28, 2021, 06:33:06 AM

Also include the date. Teofimo Lopez vs. George Kambosos Jr. is scheduled to fight this Saturday or early morning Sunday in Europe.

What is everyone’s prediction? I am shaking my head why the sportsbooks predict that Teofimo Lopez will have a higher chance to win through a knockout than a decision. His opponent is undefeated and this fight is only in lightweight boxing which is very light hehehe. It is 20 pounds lighter than MMA’s lightweight division. I predict Lopez by decision with very good odds.

https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/boxing/international/international-matchups/lopez-teofimo-vs-kambosos-jr-george-6171c2308ae38529363d9690

I think I have included the dates and it is highlighted with a color green font, and just like you, I think that Teofimo Lopez advantage, and at 1st I thought this fight will never come to light when Kambosos Jr. Slammed Lopex for not announcing that he has Covid-19 and would tweet  "Disciplined to the game! Not like some FUGAZI’S" understandably Kambosos is the underdog where if we look at the odds Teofimo is the favorite, Lopez power punch is a difference-maker, Teofimo Lopez has great head movement, and incredible reflex and Teofimo have a win over Lomachenko, I think he can surely outperform Kambosos Jr. and has a lot of technical skills compare to his opponent, I will go with Teofimo Lopez.

@bisdak said in another thread that Teofimo Lopez’s victory versus Lomachenko was a fluke. He also said that Lomachenko is the biggest name in Lopez’s young boxing record. He is clearly correct hehe. Why do the boxing experts in this subforum not share this type of information before the fight hehehe.

In any case, Fulton vs. Figueroa was also very good. It was a majority victory for Fulton. I think it was a better fight than Lopez vs. Kambosos.
3672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos - November 27 on: November 28, 2021, 06:03:53 AM
Damn!

Kambosos's big punch really hurt Lopez, bloody on his nose and left eye. I thought after round 10 when Kambosos knocked down he doesn't have the legs anymore, but he can recovered quickly and fight like in prime conditions. This upset is very unexpected for me, congratulations for people who bet Kambosos via decision. 18.00x odds is very high  Grin

That Lopez win against Loma was a fluke, that's what I believe for a long time (it's just me) and going to this fight, Kambosos have a great chance of dethroning the champ because of experience factor. Loma was the biggest name Lopez have faced in his young career if not for that injury (to be debated) the outcome might have been different  Grin.

That overhead right did damage for Kambosos and Lopez has not adjusted throughout the fight.

It appears you are correct hehe. Was there also some personal problems for Lomachenko before that fight versus Lopez? In any case, Lomachenko should make it a good fight versus Richard Commey so he will be given the right to challenge for the championship against Kambosos. I predict Lomachenko will be inspired to win with a knock out hehehehe.

Also, the 2 fighters that won before the main event were also underdogs, however, why are the sportsbooks not including them?
3673  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2022-11-27] Hillary Clinton Warns of China and Russia ‘Manipulating’ Crypto on: November 28, 2021, 01:28:58 AM
@SFR10. I was not arguing about that hehe. Bitcoin has become more as a speculative investment. It can be used as a currency, however, Tether has the power to print its own dollar derivative pegged to the dollar and accepted as similar to the dollar. Money launderers in China proved this, also the cryptospace market proved this. Have you noticed how USDT has hyperdollarized everything in the cryptospace? Every altcoin was priced in BTC before 2017, presently it is in USDT.

Also, based on her interview non-state actors imply people who are not working for the government. It can be those hustlers behind Tether, it can be the cryptocoin developers or it can be the community.

The skeptical me thinks that Michael Chandler is using Cowboy Cerrone’s strategy to make Conor choose him not only as the next opponent, but also the next to receive a healthy payment from uncle Dana hehehe.

It also appears that Chandler wants to retire after the clobbering he received from Justin Gaethje hehehe. He might he pondering for himself that he should be paid well for this because he will never be champion in the UFC.

UFC lightweight contender Michael Chandler has branded those who discredit former two-division champion Conor McGregor‘s abilities as a “casual” or a “hater.”

3675  Bitcoin / Press / [2022-11-27] Hillary Clinton Warns of China and Russia ‘Manipulating’ Crypto on: November 27, 2021, 03:15:24 AM
It appears Hillary is acting on the orders of her masters from the banking guild. I reckon the reason why she is being moved to call on the Biden administration to regulate the cryptospace is to protect the banking guild’s monopoly in destabilizing countries and their currencies.

Also, I reckon the real threat to the banking guild is not bitcoin. It is Tether and other stablecoins because they can redollarize countries without the need to own a Federal Reserve printer. El Salvador will be the first experiment of this.

Former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has warned that the United States must act to regulate cryptocurrency in the face of states and non-state actors ‘manipulating’ it and other technologies to destabilize the dollar.

She added that, “We’re looking at not only states such as China or Russia manipulating technology of all kinds to their advantage. We’re looking at non-state actors, either in concert with states or on their own, destabilizing countries, destabilizing the dollar as the reserve currency.”

Did anyone read the article? It appears much of you who replied in this thread did not read it.

In any case, @Blawpaw, the writer has the mind of the skeptic and the article is a skeptical view on what is happening behind the cryptospace while the larpers support what they do not really understand. The larpers cheer if bitcoin pumps without questioning why. They only assume that this is because of adoption, a favorite word in the cryptospace hehehe.

It should also make you question Bitcoin’s stock to flow model. What if the stock to flow model is only a marketing tool to trick everyone. What if it is Tether pumping the price to make it appear that the price is moving according to the model.
3677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: November 27, 2021, 01:42:54 AM
Would you speculate or suspect that Bukele chose to work with the hustlers behind Tether is because it would be very much easier to move money using Tether’s shadow banking connections than use the real banking system?

I hope this is not the case, because it would be a real shame for the whole project to fail due to the connection with that company, although formally the cooperation was achieved with iFinex which is just another company owned by BitFinex. What is interesting is that this idea has been around for several months, and it was suggested by Mr. Samson - and we can assume (given the logo he is promoting) that he influenced who the other partner would be.

Canada-based Blockstream Corp, a blockchain technology company, proposed the El Salvador government to issue a digital dollar denominated bond while the nation taps plans to introduce Bitcoin as legal tender.
Samson Mow, Blockstream’s chief strategy officer, said company officials had met with El Salvador government officials to present the plan and that officials had expressed interest but had not yet made a final decision.

The winless Lions with Goff starting at QB vs. the Red Rifle, lol i can barely hide my excitement for this matchup...at least the Lions used to have Stafford, now it's just Dan Campbell's emotional post-game pressers.  Grin

Taco, Maddogs, and Tamalpais Temptations fighting for the last two playoff spots currently sitting at 6-5, needless to say, whoever loses this week will put themselves in a very tough position, so good luck everyone!

Well since Psychotics are starting D. Mooney, i say Marquise Goodwin (hope the shoulder injury won't bother him) will score one of the two touchdowns that the Bears will have, Monty will likely be the other one to feast today.

Happy 🦃!

Where is Nutildah Jones? He is my opponent for this week and it appears that he might have left. He has 2 players on bye week but he has not changed to place active players in their starting slots. This is strange if he left without telling us. I hope that he is not sick. This coronavirus is beginning to mutate and making vaccinated people also sick.

3679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 26, 2021, 06:51:22 AM
@Welsh. It appears you and Colby Covington certainly have very similar opinions on Khamzat Chimaev hehe. However, I am skeptical of his opinion. I reckon this might be a business or career decision if Colby demands the UFC to organize a fight with him versus Khamzat. It would be Colby’s short cut and be given the right to challenge for the welterweight championship again if he is the winner.

3680  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Calls for Global Crypto Regulation on: November 26, 2021, 05:43:03 AM
It appears that Changpeng Zhao’s will is beginning to bend to the will if the authorities hehehe. It also appears for me that the real reason behind his willingness to sell some stakes in the exchange is not to improve perception and relationship with regulators. I am skeptical of this. I speculate the real reason might be CZ is looking to sell his shares and exit from Binance to avoid legal problems coming to him.

Binance Seeks Investments From Sovereign Wealth Funds

The cryptocurrency exchange’s global entity is looking to ameliorate its relationships with governments.

Zhao hopes that Binance’s “perception and relationships” with regulators around the world would improve if sovereign wealth funds took a stake in the company, according to the report. “But it may also tie us to specific countries[,] ... which we want to be slightly careful with,” Zhao said.

The exchange is also looking to set up global headquarters, a 360-degree turn from its decentralized operations model.
