What's your best recipe for natural viagra? I make watermelon smoothie with lemon juice in it.  Cool

Never heard of it before. I love watermelon juice, it's my favourite juice but it doesn't seem to work for me. I might need to try it mixed with lemon, or are you adding anything else? For how many hours does it last?
3662  Economy / Economics / Re: U.S. rent has increased 175% faster than household income over past 20 years on: April 03, 2021, 09:04:30 AM
Think Covid-19 disease influenced a lot on decision of many citizens to buy suburban housing by means of mortgage. Don’t think that crypto can somehow to help in building new houses and to lower prices on them. Scarce goods always inflate in price. Only oversupply of houses can help to decrease prices or, probably, the full end of covid-quarantine.
This problem has been persisting even before the pandemic, 1970s is the right time to buy houses because they are the most stable time and less expensive economy back then but now that real estate skyrocketed in prices because of increase in population and business which made land more valuable and the 2008 housing crisis also contributed to the destitution of many people in USA, oversupply in real estate does not work the same as the basic supply and demand.

But 1970 is a long time away, how can a young family these days ever afford their own house? The housing crisis in 2007/2008 was only a small dip on the average house prices. If you had money at that time you could have managed to buy a few bargains. However, since then the prices rose very high again. It is nearly impossible to buy an house these days with an average income. For example, if I would just buy an apartment right now with my salary and take out a loan for 75% of the value I would have to repay the loan for the next 35 years. This is insane, who knows what is going to happen to in 10 or 20 years, how can you go into debt for such long times?
3663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should loot boxes be banned in videogames? on: April 03, 2021, 07:54:30 AM
A recent study is showing that during the pandemic addiction to loot packs has grown, with 24% of those participating in a survey feeling they are addicted to them, do you think they should be banned for young people? Obviously most games rely on a random element when it comes to make their mechanics work, but when you can use real money to buy those loot boxes without really knowing what you are going to get you are crossing a line and it seems to me this should be considered gambling, what do you think?

https://news.sky.com/story/children-addicted-to-video-game-loot-packs-in-lockdown-gambling-support-groups-warn-12262946

That is quite an alarming growth rate to be honest. I got hooked myself on loot boxes a few years back during the CSGO skin hype. Seeing for how much Knifes and AWPs are being sold I wanted to try my own luck. When you see the famous Twitch streamers open cases after cases and getting the high end knifes you become jealous. The cases you get for free, but the keys you need to buy and nowhere it is written what are the real percentages to get a knife. I invested like 150 EUR over 2-3 months and kept opening cases, 99% of the loot was just 3 cent skins and completely worthless. I managed to get one knife which was really cheap though. In the end invested so much money to get a knife which was worth 40 EUR back in the day. After that I quite the loot box games, it is better to buy the skins directly and trade them over time in my opinion.
3664  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you trust the co-vid19 vaccine ? on: April 03, 2021, 07:24:08 AM
My grandmother got now the second injection and is totally fine. She had no side effects after the first and second vaccination. It took a while to get through the test center but everything was fine in the end. I think the vaccines are the real deal now and are our way to get through the pandemic. It is probably going to take another 6 months until I can get my vaccine but as I am eligible I will get it. The real question remains who many percentages of the population need to be vacccinated for all the lockdowns to stop? It would be nice if there is a fixed percentage of people who need to be vaccinated until everything can open up again. I haven't been on a proper vaccation since December 2019, can't wait for the world to go back to normal.
3665  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which social media do you prefer? on: April 03, 2021, 07:03:33 AM
Reddit
Instagram
Facebook
Twitter
Youtube
I like all these social platforms much more.

Reddit and Youtube are pretty nice, on both platforms I always find very interesting things. Facebook is in my opinion totally overvalued. I haven't logged into my acount for years and probably not going to do anymore. Instagram I never used.
3666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will stablecoins replace Fiat currencies in the future? on: April 03, 2021, 07:02:02 AM

This makes me wonder, will stablecoins replace Fiat currencies in the future? If not, why? Is there a possibility governments will adopt stablecoins as their own instead of launching digital currencies from scratch? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

I don't think this going to be very likely. While many people are investing in stablecoins and find them very attractive, the governments will be very reluctant to give away all their power easily. We know that the digitial USD and EUR are coming, so it seems more likely that the central banks are going to push and promote their own currencies. Having full control over the money supply and being able to print more money whenevery they please is the key to financial policies in todays world.
3667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to win at roulette? on: April 03, 2021, 06:22:05 AM
Martingale will never work on roulette in the longrun i seen upto 15 in row for 1 colour no bankroll can withstand this
This is only for fun ,maybe lightning roullete to try and hit those big numbers to try and win big

Even if we assume that someone has infinite money and time, then formally he will be in profit playing in the casino, but in fact he will be at a loss. Money has its value (in terms of time) and freezing an infinitely large amount of money for the sake of making a meager profit is a pure loss.

That is definitely true, but the opporunity cost of money is not that high at the moment. The savings accounts in my country over no real interest anymore, you need lock your money away for 90+ days at least to have maybe 0.25-0.5 % interest per year. The same goes for money market funds, you need to pay more fees that it take atleast 2 years to make back the fees before u have any profit. On top of that Looking at an inflation rate of 2% you are losing money by just letting it sit in the bank.

This is another reason why gambling and roulette is so attractive to most of us. Having a strategy with unlimited money is not really feasible, but we can try to protect ourselfs from having 10 bad beats in a row. The chances of getting 10 times red or black in a row a fairly small.
3668  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to make you free on: April 03, 2021, 05:53:11 AM
I hate that I cannot save money effectively because our government loves to inflate problems away at the expense of my savings... bitcoin and altcoins are our greatest hope in returning power back to working middle-class people.

your thoughts?

I agree, bitcoins offer is freedom from the crazy monetary policies of our countries. In my country saving is just working anymore for the past 10 years. Effectively you are losing money if you do it, bank fees and inflation are rising while the interest on your savings account is falling. So investing into crypto currencies is the only real solution. And even if we don't make a lot of money by it, atleast we can store some value free from the government's.
3669  Economy / Economics / Re: Flexible Work Schedule on: April 03, 2021, 05:34:58 AM
The most important thing nowadays is to guarantee a job without worrying if it's a flexible work from home or in loco, because it's really hard to find opportunities and we shouldn't waste them when we find. But for those who aren't able to find a traditional job opportunity, the internet becomes the final salvation, being possible to work online from home.
It's a confortable situation, but the payrates usually aren't that good and you need to dig with a lot of effort in order to have a decent income in the end of the month. It's an interesting challenge, anyway.

It definitely increases the challenge for us employees and it might also increase the workload, but during home office it is just so much more useful. The pandemic changed so much of the average workday. Telefon conferences are so much more common now and take away a lot of time during the day where we aren't productive. On the other side, having a 1 hour lunch break seems wrong if you are just at home anyway. I like the new flexible work schedule.
3670  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the future of the internet? on: April 03, 2021, 05:24:22 AM
What do you think will change in the future? What will disappear? What new will appear? What will the internet be used for?

The first step we will see happening is given every human in the world access to the Internet. Elon Musk satellite Internet has very good chances to achieve that. In my opinion the second step will be to increase the data requirements which makes speed much more important in the future. Once these two are done, we don't need paper anymore, everything can be done online.
3671  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it weird to wake up 2 hours before anybody else to have time alone? on: April 02, 2021, 04:07:27 PM
No matter what time you should have some time for yourself, it is also a way to relax yourself in a busy life, even if you get married, it should not be a reason to restrain yourself. Wink

I fully agree, everybody needs time for himself. And honestly it doesn't matter if you wake up earlier or if you stay up later at night. I am more of a night owl, so I like to go 1-2 hours to bed after everybody else, but we need to do what works for us and our body.
3672  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are we in a Simulation? on: April 01, 2021, 02:59:48 PM
Are we living in or otherwise part of some type of Simulation or video game run by a computer, what are your thoughts?

No we are living not, we are living in a free world. If you don'tv believe in free will try and change your habits. For example, you don't like to eat fish, order fish next time for dinner. Life is crazy and real.
A computer program could be made in which we could have what we perceive as free will.

Look at things like Alpha Zero, that thing figured out how to play Chess and Go!

Computers are amazing.

If nothing else its at least good fun to think about.

While I agree with you that computer programs are super effective these days and can easily bear a human, we would need a huge system to simulate the whole world history. Free will might be not true and we all just follow an algorithm. But why get up in the morning then? What if we all decide on one day this year where we are going to remain in bed? The whole world would stop for one single day, it would be chaos and mayhem but controlled by us. I really hope we are not in a simulation.
3673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Low volume coins good for investment now? on: April 01, 2021, 02:54:48 PM
I like the idea of looking for low volume traded coins which are not so mainstream at the moment. There was a huge capital inflow into crypto currencies over the last few months. While the main alt coins still have room to improve and rise, we should look for alternatives to invest in. Low volume traded coins usually mean that there is a bigger spread between big and ask prices which could be taken advantage of by a good trader.
3674  Economy / Economics / Re: How the rich get richer and why it works on: April 01, 2021, 02:51:10 PM
Deep analysis but it doesn't work similar in every part of the world, in some countries people follow the words of rich people for no reason so they become the supporter of the party who is in the favour of rich people. Even though rich people are supposed to pay more taxes they get tax exception for everything when the ruling party is supporting them but again the party takes the money from rich people which can be covered for tax purposes.

I noticed the same in my country, there are very public figures who appear rich and people just believe every word he says. I think we as investors need to be careful and check, if he is actually rich and how he got rich. If he has just money because of his public status and not by doing something extraordinary, then we shouldn't take him as a role model. Another thing I noticed is the super rich tend to very secretive.
3675  Other / Meta / Re: Introducing NFTs for forum members on: April 01, 2021, 02:29:49 PM
You are one of the five wealthiest, but at the same time you put up lots for auction at such a price that even you cannot afford such a price.
And I never will afford such a price if I give in to the pressure to offer myself as cheaply as some people would like.

I have Foxpup-VIII, are you really offering 5001 BTC for it? Let me quickly put a sell in.
Hey, how'd you get my most prized asset? I was saving that for a rich investor! Angry Guess I'll have to give in to the pressure and undercut you, now.

Limited time offer: 🦊 Foxpup-VIII 🦊 for only BTC4200! That's 16% off! Not 10, not 15, but a whopping 16% off! Get it before it's gone!

Why are you under bidding me buddy? I am here trying to raise your market value and you are doing me like that  Cheesy increase your prices so we can get both rich

BTW. Which part of you are getting then?
3676  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Lockdown Policy, can it be viewed as an infringement on our Human rights? on: April 01, 2021, 02:25:38 PM
Your opinions are very much needed as always;

(a) Would you consider the government's Lockdown policy and strong restrictions on people’s movements an infringement on human rights?

(b) Do you think that the punishment metted out to those who have grown tired of the lockdown and defaulted in some way is fair, especially when the lockdown rules and policies as well as the punishment for defaulters were not properly discussed in parliament?

The problem is in my opinion that all countries are doing it. So saying that the lockdown procedures are wrong in one country would mean they are wrong everywhere. I don't think that any court would tell the government is wrong. First of all it would need to be the highest court instance of the country to declare the measures illegal. But what if the judges are wrong and a lot of people are going to did of it? The judges are probably scared to be liable when deciding against the government.
3677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How did you start? on: April 01, 2021, 02:19:54 PM
The first time i really started to gamble was straight after my 18th birthday. I went with some friends in a suit and tie to our local casino to play some blackjack and roulette. We lost it all  Cheesy the next time I was gambling was poker during university. After watching so many casino scenes in movies I just wanted to see it for myself. During my math classes in school we did some probability theory with roulette and black jack. So I knew what I was getting into beforehand.
3678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What age bracket is perfect for gambling on: April 01, 2021, 10:42:29 AM
I personally think that children should never gamble no matter how much money they have. As a kid you are still in your formative stage and way more vulnerable to a possible gambling addiction than a adult who has already developed a solid character.
Of course you can't generalize it that easily because there are 16 year old teenagers out there who have way more discipline and self-control than the average adult and there are also adults of course who get addicted to gaming very easily and therefore betting money that they would desperately need for other things.
But in general i think it's a good thing that children are not allowed to gamble of course.

I find it a bit wierd in my country that you are only allowed to enter a casinos above 18 years, but on funfairs you were allowed to play lotteries and other gambling as kid already. The only difference is that you win physical prices and not money, but it is still the same. It can be very addictive aswell. My first memory gambling on one of this fairs was that I want to have some specific army figures for which you needed a lot of points. So I basically spent all my money for the fair over the weekend on this lottery stand and didn't even get enough points in the end. I wish someone would have told me a bit about gambling at such an age so I could have saved my money for some of the rides instead.
3679  Other / Meta / Re: Introducing NFTs for forum members on: April 01, 2021, 10:21:42 AM
Far better to offer yourself for too high a price than for too low. You certainly don't want to acquire a reputation for the latter. Tongue
It's not about overestimating the value of one or another NFT, but the fact that very few people have a sufficient amount of BTC. You are one of the five wealthiest, but at the same time you put up lots for auction at such a price that even you cannot afford such a price.

  • Foxpup-VIII - My offer is 5001 bitcoins

I have Foxpup-VIII, are you really offering 5001 BTC for it? Let me quickly put a sell in.
3680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beware of the Frauds , how pandemic is affecting gambling negatively on: April 01, 2021, 07:22:36 AM

What do you think ? Have you also noticed an increase in the malicious activities in the online Gambling section right now? Do you like the idea of AI tracking your every move?

I definitely have seen the increase in suspicious gambling advertising, over the last few month I have been getting more and more spam emails about crypto currencies, gambling and also sports betting. One factor like you said is definitely the hype in online gambling last year, another factor is that the crypto prices rallied so much over the last 6 months. In my opinion the higher the bitcoin and major alt coin prices the more it attractive it is for scammer to work in this area.
