In my opinion, there are many talents in different fields ( designing, programming, web development, translating, writing...) but the problem that many people are afraid to show those skills to the public ( maybe because of their fear of people's opinions ).
On the other hand, the skills section is the best way to show all the talents and to give advice to those who have no experience in some fields and to develop their talents.
if you mean by that is providing your skills for getting paid, you can post in Economy > Marketplace > Servicesbut if you need the subforum solely for talents discussions unrelated to bitcoin, I think we don't need it here in a "Bitcoin forum"Maybe he/she is referring to skills that can be useful in our forum. Services, in the word itself, you're serving someone or should i say wage labor, is different from skills. Why? Designing, programming, web development and other stuffs that he/she mentioned is also a part of our forum because we use or apply to it. I know that we can research about it on internet but we are looking for specific ideas and learnings that will fit in our forum. I got here an example for you to be enlighten, When i joined here, i get interested on how they make the signature using BB Code, not of all the members have scheme or course outline on designing and creating signatures. We need those, sharing ideas and tips on how you make such things like this is very impressive. "Topics should be associated to cryptocurrency 'cause it's a bitcoin forum", i know that but the add-ons you settle in here build our forum so maybe this will make things possible. On the other hand, the idea of sir Baoo can't be implemented 'cause for now, they will only think the best way to eliminate shitposters and other things that make our forum substandard. Still, it's a great idea of yours 'cause it can possibly help some peoples who like to learn some knowledgeable skills. |

Beginners trying to push themselves for this merits of yours even though they can't manage or handle some typical discussions. Let's only spectate and read some posts of those persons who are worthy to be given by merits. Then if they are worthy to, merit them and just give him a private message about the thing he/she have done doing a great work. Posting like this could possibly a spam, people know this common things since merit system is a big issue all over the forum.
Everyone could get the reason or the point of sending merit to that post, just using common sense. To be honest, even a normal person could get a reason why they've awarded in such simple things. We respect the criteria or your standards on giving merits but it is good if we are being low key on such things, you're just spoiling them to make some merits, sooner or later it could be the focus of some members here in our forum than reading facts and earning some knowledge. I don't have any problem on your way of participating in our community, It is a great opportunity to give merits to those who are in needs. It is just my opinion sir.
Exploring things is an unique skill should apply of each individuals in here.

For me, This system is okay since it allows users to have a creative idea that can be helpful to other members. You need to put an effort to things to be rewarded and get an achievement. This system aims to dissolve all the shitposts in this forum, shitposts makes the forum dirty! Other people are just thinking about their income that they will receive in here and not thinking the posts they will create.
Another thing is, change your mindset about the forum. We are here for exchanging informations not for making ranks up. We should change our intention in here, let's widen our minds for the sake of this community. I admit it, i started on shitposts but after realizing that this is a great opportunity for each of us, I give importance on my account and create topics that is helpful without asking in return.

Having an effort for typing those common ideas makes the post so complicated and there are so many topics that is also the same with this. You know that this system is new to us and some of here in meta already posted about this. I easily get tired when i seeing posts about "earning merits", you don't need a guide in earning merits, a simple post which is direct to the point is all that matters. Your post is too much, you can explain it in 2-3 sentences. Also, the quality of your post is important. You look like you are just aiming for merits in posting this thread. The only thing i can think of is you need to fit to the standards of members of this forum so that you can earn all your dreamy merits.
PS. you should've posted on local instead, helping your fellow citizens that is new in our community is good.

Suggestion ko lang sa merit system na moderator ng forum na lang sana ang magbigay ng smerit para patas ang laban para sa lahat. Kasi yung iba ay mayroong madaming account na ginagamit ay pede nyang magamit pang merit sa ibat iba nyang account. At yung iba naman ay magkakakilala or gumawa ng groups sa labas ng forum at para sila lang ang magbibigayan ng merit. At yung iba naman ay nagbebentahan ng merit. Kayat napaka unfair sa quality poster na hindi napapansin or ini ignore lang kahit gaano pa ka quality ang post nya. Ikaw ano sa tingin mo mas ok ba na moderator na lang ang magbigay ng smerit?

This is also a good idea para naman malaman natin yung mga post na super informative yet concise amg pagkakagawa tsaka yung bago fact sa mga nagbabasa. Pero ang disadvantage nito is mahihirapan ang mods since unti lang naman sila sa local na to. Tsaka meritable din ang mga replies so may chance na hindi din mapansin ng mods yun, hindi nila kayang isaisahin yun. Still good idea since madaming nagsasabi na sobrang unfair daw ng merit system. |

Etherdelta is broken since there is an issue about hacked and losing some tokens. I thought ed will be the greatest exchange of all but I'm wrong. Etherdelta is just good in the start but today it's makes me feel uncomfortable when I'm using this. Today i found a new exchange where it looks like ED and it's easy to use or should i say a friendly user exchange site.
I'm suggesting Kucoin for having a security that has a google authenticator, this tool helps you to have a full power security to your account when having a transaction. Binance is also good but I have a 5% doubt on it. There are also good exchanges like bittrex and poloniex so let's not worry, everything has an end.

Seems like most people just want to become super rich in a short period of time.
If you don't believe in this new technology, and just want to earn quick money, I think you will probably not achieve what you want.
All I want to say is be patient, live your life, and don't get too emotional by all the negative news/FUD. Yes, crypto might be ended in a really bad way and you lose most/all your money. But if you truly believe in the new technology, just invest the projects you like the most and hold until it gets mature and returns.
I truly believe in cryptocurrency because of having so many experiences in this kind of community. I hate people who don't have trust in cryptocurrency because they always spread the news that the rate will fall soon. At first, i doubt about this because there are many questions pop up on my mind since I'm just a newbie long ago but now if you are a good user and has a awesome community crypto will not easily fall. No one can stop crypto and the people who truly supports this. There are different elements that make some coins profitable, It's because of us who participates and have an transactions in crypto, to the investors who gain money by investments, the developers who creates more token with a specific type of projects, and other elements that helps crypto community to grow faster. I have so many experience in airdrops because I joined many of them last year. There are airdrops that wants you to donate to them to get the airdrop. Take note, airdrops are free just by doing simple tasks therefore this thing can be a scam. The most common legit airdrop requires you to do some easy task like following their social media accounts, I could say that this kind of airdrop is profitable. There are airdrops that only requires you to register in a form where your wallet and forum account must fill up but only 20% of them are legit. Some of them requires you to register their beta platform to gain more users and gives you a profitable airdrop. |
