3681  Economy / Speculation / Re: falllling is warning you once again: bitcoin game over! crashing to $400 on: August 15, 2014, 06:46:30 PM
So you bought at $1200..... and gave up after 7 months?
3682  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price down to 1.25 - How low will it go? on: August 15, 2014, 05:48:21 PM
Now this deserves a bump.

USD is up to 2, and people are speculating a rally to 3 (and some, even further).

Myself, these are the last gasps of air before the lid is put strongly in place, and a descent towards 0.2-0.1 area resumes.

Bitcoin worth 20 cents a coin... LMAO so much no... just no.. if it goes to 20 cents now it goes to zero..

Also.. stop being a necromancer.

Read the OP. Discussing price per USD (in mBTC).

LOL oh.. derp.
3683  Economy / Speculation / Re: falllling is warning you once again: bitcoin game over! crashing to $400 on: August 15, 2014, 05:47:27 PM
a fall to 400 is good, the last all time low before the last all time high was $50 or something. if 350-400 is the 'new low' then were in for a treat next peak Smiley

there are always new low man, some has been saying "cheap" coins since last year at $1100 $1000 .. $540 etc

Sooo, how much did you lose when you sold at low and bought at a high?  We do want to know.
3684  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cheap BTC, get in now if not already on board! on: August 15, 2014, 04:37:36 PM
Same thread at 1000, 900, 850, 800, 750, 700, 650, 600, 550, 500, .... I see a pattern.

actually, I agree though Wink

People were saying this when BTC went form $30 to $2...
3685  Economy / Speculation / Re: The final bear trap on: August 15, 2014, 04:35:53 PM
I have a feeling we will have a couple days sub $400... then won't have time to buy back in anywhere close to $400 when the coins all move to strong hands.  It will be a line no one has seen or even fathomed.
3686  Economy / Speculation / Re: When the volume is low... on: August 15, 2014, 04:33:34 PM
There are going to be a lot of people really mad with fallen in 8 months.
3687  Economy / Economics / Re: STOP SELLING NOW!! URGENT CALL TO BITSTAMPERS AROUND THE WORLD on: August 15, 2014, 04:31:57 PM
As long as we have a few thousand people with a decent income that believe in bitcoin there can only be one ending... Do not give up.  If 10 000 of us keep buying eventually we will get all of the coins from the weak hands...  HODL them don't listen to this spend shit.. don't spend it at places that instant change to fiat bad, bad boy.

If he encryptede it I would expect several different ciphers.. probably one he created as well and told the reciver how to use the cipher.  Good luck cracking.

Important Note: most of us will remain committed to other coins. Good. My Krazee Ideah is that Joule be a venue for proving how poor most coin-communities are at development. Whatever successes we achieve here will then be evidence for the same tactics in other communities. And Joule will meantime be revived.

Spazzdia, what do you think of the idea of putting our countries of origin at the bottom of posts?

And would you be prepared to explain to me about minng?? I am an UTTER.klutz with computers. Can I really get a disco light miner for just a few bucks?

And good on you for sticking with your coin! We all need, I argue, to give to cryptos as much as we want to get.

Mark (IndiaMikeZulu), Australia. NXT and Unobtanium

Depends what you want to know.. I am currently starting this course on youtube.. it's not legit or gets me anything but knowledge but IMO that is way underrated and the fancy paper saying you learned it hyper over rated.. ne ways.. For what the miner is actually doing I know some basics but I need to spend more time learning about cryptology to really get it.  Learnt some basics like ceares code, Viegnere's code and the masonic code.

As for setting up a miner I highly recommend youtube.. google the S1 set up and the R-box setup.  The eye-boot guy is really good at explaining how to make the R-Box work.   It takes like 10 mintues to setup even with downloading the required files.

Canada.

So, this guy is not in jail yet.

Is there any penalty going to be apply to him?

No one really knows what happend yet...  If someone came into a gold vault with a bunch of dudes and weapons and took all the gold would you arrest the guy that owned the vault...?

However.. if a guy came to the vault.. and you opened it and let him take everything.. well...

OverstockCEO rocks: "Cryptocurrencies like bitcoin are going to be around for as long as the law of mathematics works."
I agreed, Patrick is an extremely intelligent guy and huge math lover.

A lot of people think bitcoin is based on software and not cryptology.. Many don't know the difference.. for now.
3694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Island Party on: August 15, 2014, 01:45:59 PM
I'd pay to go on the trip.. even if it required a small amount to be added to help fund this project.

EG trip cost + donation and I'd be in.

Alas it's gotta be next year.. :S Already going to mexico in Nov..

Has anyone bought from http://asicminingequipment.com/  or http://www.eyeboot.com/?

I've bought from Bitmaintech and Rockminer and both delivered exactly what was promised.  These guys seem great for someone not willing to spend +$300.
3697  Economy / Speculation / Re: I requested a nice healthy crash...and the gods were good to me! on: August 15, 2014, 01:36:55 PM
Yes...the world does not revolve around Dr. Bitcoin, I understand that. But last week I requested a nice crash in the bitcoin price so that I could snatch some more coins at a lower price. I am shooting to own 10 coins by the end of the year.

Low and behold the price dropped from 600 down to 505. I bought .25 at 550, and I have limit buys from 499 all the way down to 299 in increasing quantities.

How low can it go???

It it reaches $399...I have a solid 4 coin buy...and my 10 coin goal in 2014 will be reached.

Iv the long run...Bitcoin will reach $1000 again...but in huge short term I'm getting me some cheap coins.

If there are enought people thinking like you.. you've created a MASSIVe $500 buy wall.. I would bet more on the $500 range but.. I also wouldn't take advice of some unknown person on the web.
3698  Economy / Speculation / Re: rpietila Calling the Bottom on: August 15, 2014, 01:11:53 PM
A good read, a lot of the people I know that know of bitcoin do not like it.  However... they think some hacker will hack all of the coins in existance.. the CEO will sell them all...  and other idiotic fears.  Once these fears are proven to the idiots(there are a lot) to be moronic they will go panic buy mode.
3699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Canadian Bankers are Idiots on: August 15, 2014, 01:03:47 PM
They only looked at BTC and LTC and only major exchanges... My country is a special kind of stupid.

Hmmmm. . . .

May I humbly ask for a roll call?

Ref? Have you bailed?
Balu?
Charlie?
Spazzdia and Micro -- you still using those little miners? Could I buy one and learn?
(Look for John later)

Mad Krypto Scientist Idea One: we always put our nation of origin in our signatures cause there are many developmental benefits to be had -- MAILING stuff within countries. Stuff like bullion!!

Idea Two: develop a STRONG dynamic of peer-to-peer trading. For six months, at least, if we only BUY joules on the automated exchanges, and we arrange here on this site any sales we make, the price should rise. It is a fair practice, showing concerted community effort to develop XJO.

Idea Three: at the same time, all active members ferociously trade the coin. Keep a 'core' holding, but buy and sell on every market price-change.

Mark (IndiaMikeZulu), Australia

I am 100% still mining this coin.. I will mine it until it dies lol, for sure you could buy one and learn!! I'd suggest eye-boot unless you want to spend some decent $.  If you do want to spend a bit of $ bitmaintech or rockminer.. or kijijj but do not pay more than $2 a Ghash/sec.  I've put some $ into prevent the coin from dying.. it will not go under $200 marketcap.. but at that point some might consider it "dead".

I'm sitting on a decent amount of joule via mining and buying lol.
