Tsitsipas vs Khachanov - under 22.5 @1.81
Rublev vs Isner = under 23.5 @1.86

Have a different choice than you do for these two match
Karen Khachanov - Stefanos Tsitsipas over 9.5 in first set, I think this match will be very tight, hopefully the first set will last until the tie break or at least 6-4
Rublev vs Isner over 23.5 their last meeting was in three sets so this time probably same.

You two is 1-1 on your predictions, so I guess it all break even in your bet.

Tsitsipas just blasted Khachanov in two sets, I think he really get his form back, after a intense in his last match against Humbert. Now Stepanos will have to face Casper Ruud next, a good match to wait and bet.

Rublev vs Isner is a two setter with Isner getting the better of Rublev in this match, 5-7 6-7 very tight and close game.
3682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 13, 2021, 02:19:57 AM
~
Both fighters are well prepared
They are both conditioned physically because they've been training for their own scheduled fights but I wouldn't say they are both mentally ready. Finding the opponent's weakness and formulating strategies for the fight are important factors and I think Manny is at a disadvantage in that area. He is a dream fight for almost all fighters and I'm pretty sure many of them already studied him. In Manny's case, he doesn't know much about Ugas and he's given a short time to prepare.

As I have said previously in the other thread, I do hope that Manny won't fall on the 'replacement curse' because this will be the worst defeat ever. But as far as the odds goes, he is the favorite. And knowing Manny's experience and ring IQ, I think he can still overcome and adjust as the round goes and fight the fights that he wants and not to give Ugas breathing room and be comfortable as the fight progresses, so for me it will be Manny by UD, maybe 8 round to 4.
3683  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bullish News!!! on: August 12, 2021, 03:11:16 AM
Of course,,, I do not mind a bit of good news but we have to accept nothing can change this move forward. Not good news, not bad news. Here we go!
Yes, moon boys are back in action.  Tongue

News are indicators but sometimes they're discouraging the market whenever the news are not that really good.

Now what surprised me is that Monday and Tuesday prices did dip but only for a little while and not so badly in fact made a new high,,, which was different from 2 previous weeks where those days wiped out the weekend gains (Temporarily only of course).

Does this mean bears are tired or waiting?Wink

Well as far as those who are still shorting bitcoin, then definitely they are getting rekt already and perhaps they got tired.

I'm not sure about the bears, it depends, there are perma bears and there are investors who love to see the price going down so that they can still buy at cheap price and fatten their wallets.

And just like in the last 24 hours, the price goes to $46,700, meet some resistance, went down to $45,xxx and now we are up to $46,200 again. No sideways pattern but a little bit of dip and then quick recovery.
3684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: August 12, 2021, 02:33:36 AM
Maybe will skip betting for the fight. I like to put money on Casimero but not with that odds. I'm hoping for at least odds 1.7.

No way also to bet for Rigondeaux. Even if he wins, no regret not placing a bet for him.

Just have to watch the fight instead and just enjoy it. Lack of options to bet.

Yeah, unless there's more betting options, like what rounds Casimero will win or by UD or knock out.

ML is not that attractive to me, so if no other odds available, better to skip and watch the fight with your friends and enjoy. Lets see how a defensive guru like Rigo can avoid Casimero big bombs and how will Rigo react if Casimero tags him the first time. He already has a history of quitting a fight so maybe if he feels Casimero's power he might say "No Mas" again.
3685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 12, 2021, 01:48:49 AM
A. Karatsev vs. K. Khachanov - over 22.5
A. Rublev vs. F. Fognini - over 21.5
I took the same two bets, both matches should go to the third set and pass our margin easy. Opted for over games since I don't like any bets on favorites today. Harris should be able to win against Lopez without much trouble if keeps his recent levels. Took him to win 2:0.

I have Sinner, Rublev and Felix AA for the wins today. A small one on Sinner,
it will be interesting to see how be performs against Duckworth after his win
in Washington
It was sure interesting how Sinner performed, in short like shit. Sort of expected he will emotionally empty after winning the title but nevertheless he lost way too easy. Looking bad for Felix AA as well. He lost first set and is trailing one break in second. Not gonna be the day of favorites.

So far my ticket looks good since Harris managed an easy win against Lopez. Bit afraid for Fognini match, you never know which side of him we will see.

Yeah, Sinner looks like shit against Duckworth and lost in 2 sets. Probably winner the last tournament has taken a toll, something that he needs to learn if he wanted to remain on top level tennis with this experience players.

Felix AA lost as well against Lajovic, good that I didn't bet on Felix this time.

Khachanov vs Tsitsipas, this will be an interesting match, and I think it will go Over.
3686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: August 12, 2021, 01:14:24 AM
Ok here's one way Pacquiao is motivated as per Roach,

He said that Pacquiao is pissed out, because the title that he won against Thurman was handed to Ugas without due process, so he was stripped with that belt. So he might go for a knock out against Ugas here to claim that belt back. But I don't know if this is true though, we all know that Roach is the one hyping Manny's fight so take it with a grain of salt.

Roach has been promising a knockout for like the past 10 fights. Ugas has never been knocked out and Pacquiao only has 1 knockout in the past decade. I don't think Pacquiao coming off a 2 year layoff at 42 years old will be capable of getting the KO in this fight even if it is a late replacement opponent.

LOL, agreed. Ugas is one tough opponent for Pacquiao and has a good chin. I doubt that he can be knock out by Pacquiao unless if was really a perfect left that Ugas wasn't expected.

Pacquiao last knock out I believed is against Lucas Matthysse, but Lucas was already way past his prime and probably just accepted the fight for his last pay check (a good one), before retiring.

https://decrypt.co/78270/poly-network-hacker-repays-2-1-million-says-ready-return-fund

Poly Network Hacker Repays Millions, Says ‘Ready to Return the Fund’
"The unknown Poly Network hacker has begun returning funds stolen from yesterday’s record-breaking exploit.

The attacker responsible for yesterday’s $600 million hack of decentralized finance (DeFi) interoperability protocol Poly Network sent nearly $5 million worth of crypto back to the project."

It was mentioned that the hacker's IP address and other information had been uncovered and maybe this is what scared them into returning those funds. Every centralized exchange will be monitoring their addresses and it would be difficult for them to cash out into fiat.

The hack probably destroys any confidence in Poly Network but at least investors have a chance to recover what they lost.

And the $3 million was frozen by Tether already.

Yeah, I do agree that it destroys Poloy Network face value because of this attack, so it might be hard for their platform to bounce back.

Anyhow, let's hope that the hackers will send back more, if there IP address is exposed, then sooner or later they can be track and identified and arrested.
3688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in China: What’s going on in the crypto community on: August 11, 2021, 11:47:08 PM
China have banned it, censored influencers online, banished miners. They’re threatened by bitcoin because they’re developing their own gov, centralised shitcoin (CBDC) with an unlimited supply. China are going to lose because bitcoin is the future of finance & they’ve effectively omitted themselves.

Bitcoin will be fine, China banned Facebook, Google, Whatsapp & they’re all just fine. I feel sorry for the Chinese people living under such a Communist regime.

Right, it was really the Chinese people who have been with bitcoin since the beginning will be the affected here. But their government doesn't care as it is authoritarian and will do what it takes for curb any form or freedom, including financial. And what a better time to censored everything that relates to crypto but now, since they are moving forward with their shitcoin.
3689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anderson Silva vs Tito Ortiz on September 11 on: August 11, 2021, 10:51:38 PM
Quote
Oscar De La Hoya vs. Vitor Belfort

Oscar crossing into MMA is more surprising than old guys Silva and Tito Ortiz coming back to the cage. No matter how old they got now, they still come back like there is a transaction to settle.

I would bet for Dela Hoya for this one, I do think this isn't going to be an exhibition fight. If he is going to be pinned to the ground though, it's his end. Hope he trains to avoid take down.

This is not a MMA fight, this is a boxing match. Even Oscar said he want the California State Athletic Commission to sanction this as professional boxing match with judges scoring.

However, this seems to be just an exhibition match, same with others we have seen like the Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr. So Vitor Belfort is at a disadvantage and not Oscar so the better advise is that he trains like a boxer because there will be no take downs.

Probably that's one way of Oscar promoting this fight. But we all know that the sanctioning body will not allow this to be called "professional fights". This is all business of making money. Oscar even said before the he want to face Canelo on his comeback fight, LOL.

Silva could take this win easily, even in MMA Tito's striking is not that good, just look at his Liddell fight, he tries to go toe to toe and gets KO. While Silva has already experience fighting JCC Jr and won that fight.
3690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: August 11, 2021, 05:55:56 AM
John Riel Casimero vs Guillermo Rigondeaux - Casimero is the holder of the WBO world bantamweight title (53.2kg,, who will hold the belt, anyone dare to take the bet, are you counting on any of them, but I will definitely side with casemiro I'm sure Casemiro can beat his opponent, is there anyone here who dares to bet..
Casimero is a great fighter and thankfully this fight will push through after so many dramas with Casimero. This weekend they’ll face each other, i know Casimero is a great boxer but his opponent is not an easy one with a title holder as well. This will be an exciting match, and the odds tells everything, I’m cheering for Casimero as well.

Yes, it's not an easy fight for Casimero, as Rigo is also a champion and has been in many fights already, (a win against Nonito, then L to Loma).

But he is facing a different boxer here, Casimero is very aggressive, maybe not that technical compare to Loma but has more power than Nonito. So it will be a good fight for sure, but majority here thinks that it will be Casimero that will win this fight (including myself).
3691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: August 11, 2021, 05:25:10 AM
Too bad he had to pull put.

Manny is a real veteran and icon of the sport but he's in an unfamiliar territory now that he has to fight someone new on such a short notice (CMIIW). I hope he doesn't let his guard down because his opponent has nothing to lose and that's dangerous.

Yeah mate, I've seen a lot of late replacements really pulling some of the biggest upsets in any sports and that's what me feel nervous on Ugas.

Pacquiao has a lot of training partners that mimics Spence qualities specially the height advantage. Hopefully though, it won't be the case for Manny, we don't want a B level fighter just ruin his career if he lost to Ugas as a replacement fighter.

I do hope that Pacquiao will not fall for this so called 'replacement curse'.

He is already a veteran of this sports so for sure him and his team will prepare for any eventually against Ugas. Yordenis is one lucky guy though, not sure if there will be some adjustments are far as purse is concern, but it's going to be a honor to fight a legendary boxer of our generation. Spence really needs to cancel the fight and get the operation done of him ASAP.
3692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 11, 2021, 05:02:17 AM
^^ What a second set between Humbert and Tsitsipas, and I thought that with a big comeback win in the tie break, Humbert might pull an upset so I bet on 31.5, (score should be at least 6-4). And with that big win on the second, I thought Umbert will make it a close set again.

But Tsitsipas pull one great performance in the third, winning by 6-1 score and never give any chance to Umbert to recover and break him.
3693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 09, 2021, 03:27:20 AM
@mv1986 - Djokovic has worst injuries in 2019 if I'm not mistaken, but he was able to make a comeback in a span of 2 years. But he can get injured plus old age might do it for him. Federer is already there, Nadal is going on that route as well. However, Djokovic is the younger of the three so maybe he can still play 2-3 years of good tennis until he succumb to the wear and tear.

@Rabi3 - Sinner already won in 3 sets, I have over 21.5 as my bet so its a W. But it's a very close match, it could go either way, but Sinner really played very well and didn't allow McDonald to recover.
3694  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go down below $20,000. on: August 09, 2021, 03:03:47 AM
I think that the bottom of the May price drop in the cryptocurrency market has already passed and the predicted drop in the price of bitcoin to $ 20,000 will no longer exist. This is eloquently indicated by today's sharp rise in prices. Bitcoin climbed to $ 38,174 today, up nearly $ 4,000 overnight. It seems that it grows further, and all altcoins rise in price behind it. It seems that over the next few days, the price of bitcoin could exceed $ 40,000 and thereby open up room for further growth.

When the bitcoin price was around $29k I planned to buy when the price could drop to $25k, unfortunately that didn't happen so I bought when the price was $32k, even so I'm happy because the price continues to rise and I will hold it for the long term.

Good for you, at least you have started to see profits when the price reaches $45,000. We just have a minor drop to $43,000, but still that is very strong price this month and just $20,000 of the last all time high. So very much we are still in the bullish sentiments no matter how we look at it. So with that said, I' not seeing the price going down below $20,000. A lot of support lines along that path that it's hard to see it bottoming to that levels.
3695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: August 09, 2021, 01:15:36 AM
...
it will be interesting to know why this is happening,
What else could it be? Other Olympians were better prepared or simply more talented than their US counterparts. We don't need to overthink this unless there are people who are looking at poor judging or possible cheating.
Under normal circumstances you would be right but taking into account there was and there is a pandemic in the middle of all of this I wonder if this had anything to do with it, after all athletes train themselves to be at their top shape at the Olympics so they have a higher chance to win a medal, did the delay of a whole year and the uncertainty of not knowing if the games will be suspended at the last minute took a toll on the US athletes? That is a possibility that is worth exploring.

i can say, the delay has significant impact in terms of mental health of these athletes, not only in US athletes but all the others too. i watched one interview of hidilyn diaz of PH, who won gold in weight lifting, and the delay really did affect her in terms of mental health. it is good that they have psychiatrist in-house. so yeah, definitely, the delay took a toll to most athletes.
but a big round of applause to japan for completing this historic event. they have had a lot of troubles owed to pandemic but they did successfully finish this event.

I agree, the delay and extension of the schedule really took a toll on most athletes, not just medal contender athletes but everyone. Hidilyn was one case, but still she did what she has to do for her country. Imagining, training away from your family for years and then the pandemic happens as she was trap outside because of her training. Next is in Paris so hopefully this pandemic has been somewhat in control in the next 4 years.
3696  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Bullish At The Moment on: August 08, 2021, 03:23:54 AM
As bitcoin price rise to  $42,954, which shows a bullish momentum as the market has hard a long time of correctional stage before breaking the $42k bench mark, just like I analysed last week am predicting a $45k bitcoin before the end of this week.

What are your takes on this?

The fact that we are in the $40k level and moving up to the $50k it's a sign that we are in a bull and the market is performing better than the previous months, unfortunately, your prediction is not correct, it did not reach the $45k level this week, but we need not worry there's a strong indication that it will reach the $50k level before the end of the month.

But I think his prediction is very close and it's possible that we can reach $45,000 before at the end of this week (depending on your timezone). So a +/- with few hundreds is close in my opinion and a good and honest prediction on the part of the OP. So yes, let this bullish sentiments continue, we have build a good enough momentum to push to $45,000 and then two plus weeks to even get close to $50,000.
3697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum pump on: August 08, 2021, 02:58:25 AM
the entire market is gaining momentum in the last few days back and ethereum have been on the lead in the alt-coin market, many analyse have predicted a $3k ethereum price before the end of the week but just this morning the price of ethereum passed the $3k price which have forced many price analyse just like myself to have a rethink about the new all-time high and have adjusted my prediction of the next stop price to $4k ethereum price before the end of the week.

considering the high and lows in the cryptocurrency market, what are your next ethereum price predictions.

The ETH has been increasing its price since the day before yesterday and also the gas fee has increased as well. For the people who will invest a huge amount of ETH, this gas fee is nothing to them only those people that will sell their Ethereum network tokens will suffer especially when they haven't put their tokens on the exchange yet. looks like all is going well for ETH right now and if you are looking for altcoins to invest your money with, this is a good time to start especially when the price is starting to pump.

I thought that the recent release will somewhat help ETH regarding it's huge transactions fees.

If it won't solve, then its pretty much worthless iteration just to honest, I don't know how big the profit is going to be for average joe investors because of the huge fees, but for those who have invested with the price plummeted below $2,000 then good for it, but try to maximized your profits as you may lost some on the fees alone.
3698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: (Olympics Boxing) Carlo Paalam vs Galal Yafai (Fight for Gold Medal) on: August 08, 2021, 01:54:56 AM
^^ Yes, I do agree that there's a lot of improvement for this athletes.

I don't what to rub it in, but I'm just disappointed with Carlos Yulo in this Olympics, he is currently rank 3rd in Men's Artistic Gymnastics World and there are hopes that he will at least bring any medal for the Philippines in this discipline.

Nevertheless, other athletes step up specially our boxers. They need to get more exposure for our boxers because for sure they can surpassed their medal haul in the next Olympics.
3699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 08, 2021, 12:39:58 AM
I guess Harris didnt have enough strenght against Nishikori. Nishikori won in straight sets easily against Harris and will play McDonald in the semi finals. In this tournament Nishikori’s path to the title is straight opet. We can see him win this tournament easily
I agree partially with this, Nishikori should have an easy way to the final but I am thinking Sinner is ready to take this one home. Should be a close match in the final though so I am looking at betting over games if we get Nishikori - Sinner final. Today I will back the favorites since I expect them to win without much problems. Worked for me yesterday, we shall see about today.

Could or should be the case as you describe it, but Nishikori today isn't the Nishikori from five years ago. For quite a while he played very stable tennis and was a candidate for semifinals and finals quite frequently, but those times are over it feels. He has a bad day these days more often than not. Plays the first couple of rounds perfect tennis, then he has a bad day and loses against an average player.

It's because of the wear and tear in his body, and then we have the new generation of tennis players coming up as well, that's why he will always hits a snagged after round 16 and then lost.

Sinner already book his finals winning against Brooksby.

Nishikori vs McDonald ongoing, 1-1 final set McDonald leading but Nishikori and hopefully he will hold his serve to make the score 3-3.
3700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: August 08, 2021, 12:10:12 AM
Just some update on the lawsuit against Pacquiao:

Quote
The former eight-division champion was deemed free and clear to move forward with his upcoming challenge of unified WBC/IBF welterweight titlist Errol Spence Jr. A motion filed by Paradigm Sports and its founder/combat sports manager Audie Attar to block the upcoming title fight was rejected Friday by the Orange County Superior Court. The ruling—while not outright dismissing the breach of contract lawsuit filed with the same court— allows Pacquiao and Spence to move forward with their August 21 title fight, which will air live on Fox Sports Pay-Per-View from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Source: https://www.boxingscene.com/pacquiao-spence-ppv-event-moves-forward-motion-block-fight-rejected--159691

So it means the fight with Spence is a go, but it doesn't mean that his case is voided already. Maybe the judge is a Pacquiao fans that's why he rule in favor of Manny.  Grin. But in any case, at least this is a good news and we all know that the fight is going to happen 100%.

It will go against the ethics of the judge on allowing the fight to progress just because he is a fan of Manny. Probably there is a merit on the table that's why he didn't block the Pacquiao vs Spence.

Yeah, I know, I'm just toying with that idea, for sure those sports judges are somewhat a big fan as well.  For sure he has check everything before handling that big decision.

And after the fight, then they go back to the drawing table, Pacquiao and his defense team, but with the latest ruling, I think the case might be thrown out in the window by the judge. So a win-win for Pacquiao.

Yes, but for now, Pacquiao and his team shouldn't bother themselves with that lawsuit. They need to focus on this big fight on the table, just a week from now, everything should be perfect, training should be unwinding by now as he don't want to overtrain himself and then followed by a strict nutritional diet to make the weight in the weigh-in Saturday.
