3681  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin a good investment in this pendamic situation? on: August 18, 2021, 02:08:25 PM
Crypto currency is one of the best investment platform in whole world. Where bitcoin is more profitable and secure investment which we have already proven. So in this pendamic situation those who wants to hold an asset that's resistant to inflation may find investing in bitcoin will be a good idea. Because Where the central banks of any country have the permission to print infinite amount of fiat currencies on the other hand the quantity of bitcoin is fixed in number and limited by its supply capped at 21 million. I think demand is more than supply is applies for bitcoin so in this pendamic situation bitcoin will be a good investment.

In the current pandemic conditions, crypto is the best solution for investing, especially if we invest using bitcoin, the pandemic conditions do not have a big impact on bitcoin, because bitcoin's stability can survive in such conditions.

In contrast to investing using fiat money, this is very influential with the current pandemic conditions, fiat money usually experiences a recession against an ongoing disaster or pandemic, that's why bitcoin is safer than investing in fiat currency.
If we have some spare money and wanted to have an investment, it was best to choose Bitcoin. But of course, we also have to consider who we are like if we are an emotional person or not a risk taker, this is not suitable for you. I'll go for having a local business, instead.

However, we have to consider the current situation that some brought big losses to local businesses. Some companies are shut down, most offline transactions have been down so maybe it was time to divert our minds and to adopt the new environment where online investment was meant so well.
3682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC become the world central currency? on: August 18, 2021, 01:41:51 PM
It is a long way to go, honestly. We are still at the very beginning trying to attract more support from the community and from the government as well but was very unfortunate which we can see that some countries are declining such huge development in the world of currency. I'm not getting hopeless at this time and besides, the adoption keeps growing even we can feel it was very slow, at least, we can say that there will be a perfect time for this. Though it can't be a world currency at least we could consider it as a legal currency worldwide, not only in a specific area or country.
3683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bots and fake accounts in Telegram channels on: August 17, 2021, 11:16:07 PM
Lately the number of fake accounts and bots is rising in Telegram groups.
Is there any app that recognize the real number of people in a group?
We often think that a telegram group that has a huge number of members seems to be legit but to find out that most of them are just a bot and fake accounts. This was very common these days and we don't know how that it works if there is a telegram moderation has been made otherwise, we could think that this is just a trick to attract people and join them which have nothing to talk you but just a robot only.

For now, it was too hard to control this as we are in the computer era, it was easier for some people to make fake accounts and bots that even having a restriction and a sort of verification couldn't be enough.
3684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: August 17, 2021, 09:45:18 PM
John Riel Casimero Predicts He Will Retire Rigondeaux

Casimero vows to KO Rigondaeux: ‘I will stop him in 3 rounds

None of this happened, lol.. that's because of Rigo's good strategy, it's okay to lose by running as long as he will not retire and he can still make money if he continues to fight, though in reality only in the press con it's exciting but in the fight it's 100% boring.
3685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 17, 2021, 09:23:42 PM

Yes, there will be no swing odds in favour of Ugas here. Everyone is disappointed because it should have been Spence, but hey we got a replacement and it's good thing for Ugas, a good opportunity to be dancing in the ring with Manny. But that it, after the fight for sure Manny will be declared a winner and Ugas could go down in history as the replacement fighter for Spence who got the once and a lifetime opportunity but lost the fight.
Although many are disappointed with Spencer retirement due to injury and being replaced by duty, this fight will still be nerve-wracking with  full emotion, because indeed both fighters will try to prove who is the best and deserves the WBA welterweight champions belt, but in this case of course the ugas  is more has a greater burden than pacman, due to his status as the holder of the WBA welterweight title.
I think if the ugas of losing in that fight is certainly not an achievement to be proud of, especially if later it has to be recorded in history Grin Grin.

Spence did not retire yet, he just backs out in the fight for a valid reason, just allow him to recover and we might see this fight again. I hope it's not the last fight of Manny Pacquiao yet and I'm sure regardless of the result, he will be asked in the post-fight interview of this fight about that matter, so we will know the answer soon.
3686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be more effective in the future on: August 17, 2021, 02:11:28 PM
People are aware of the benefits that Bitcoin brings, and their acceptance and recognition are getting higher and higher. More countries are now accepting and legalizing cryptocurrencies.

Over time and with more adoption and use cases of bitcoin, it will become more effective. Bitcoin will become the most valuable digital asset in the future.
IF they are already aware of the importance of Bitcoin for us, they never have to ignore this thing but instead, they will give support. Unfortunately, it was not the thing we've been experienced, in fact, some countries continue banning cryptocurrency. I'd never think they are blind and not able to see this but of some personal interest brings these leaders not to offer their support.

Of course, I'm not losing my optimism, sooner or later these leaders, the government will open their minds and welcome Bitcoin.
3687  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Always pump after sold holdings. on: August 17, 2021, 04:30:12 AM
Whenever i do see profits then i do immediately sold and wont look back on how high it did able to reach because this scenario could really distract you on your other endeavor towards your investment.
Dont get easily distracted and focus  into other coins that you do have.Just accept and move on and find for another on.There are even situations on where i did wait up longer because i do presume that
it might shoot up its price but the other or opposite  thing happened  instead or rising it dumped which it is really giving you that frustration.
I often do the same, we have to accept that sometimes we lost some opportunities like we early make a sell the after a few hours it will pump more. If we really think about it, you can surely blame yourselves but that was a life in crypto. If we just only know it pump more, I think everyone had meant to hold but it was not, to move on was the best thing to do rather than blaming ourselves nor the others. It was more regretting if we miss those chances, I think.
3688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH adoption lately is high on: August 16, 2021, 11:38:04 PM
It seems like Ethereum will reach a new ATH the second time again, hours back I read news that whales are investing 500million dollars on ETH which is a good plan that they are preparing for PoS algorithm rewards, the adoption rate looks way higher than BTc or am I wrong?
The news is simply making some hypes and people are already aware of what will happen next when the demand is high, the price moves high as well. Investors are taking advantage of this and of course, it works. It gives some ways that whales are manipulating the market and by having such a short announcement and tweets, people are then started to rush buying worrying about missing the train.

However, it wasn't to think that ETH could surpass the adoption made by Bitcoin. The majority are into Bitcoin already, ETH or BNB is just their 2nd option.
3689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Altcoins Have Good Opportunities in the Next Year on: August 15, 2021, 10:47:32 PM
At least that's a solid reason why Dogecoin is rising so fast at a fairly high price, even though the main evidence hasn't been met for the actual occurrence.
Nowadays people are again hoping that other altcoins can follow in his footsteps, but there is no guarantee if we look at the current market conditions.
I really don't think that the community is wanting this to happen. It was EM who did the shilling and make hype on this project otherwise, we can never see Dogecoin reaching its ATH.

Quote
Which altcoin has the greatest chance of emulating Dogecoin's current state, is there any chance that other altcoins could take advantage of this in the future?
Meme coins developers will certainly continue to make projects that look promising which could attract investors but I really don't think if they will consider them. People are predicting meme coins have no future, how we could make fortune if we invest with them. That gonna be making no sense at all, instead, I'll go and look for potential coins in the market.
3690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the legal status of Bitcoin in your country? on: August 15, 2021, 10:13:50 PM
We're still good in our country. The government gives their support and allowing everyone to make use of and invest in them, only they just warn the possible scam as we know that a lot of people taking advantage of the popularity of cryptocurrency this time specifically for Bitcoin. The SEC has no problem against crypto where it is really a good thing to hear and this could be an asset for faster and bigger market adoption.
3691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sexy casinos on: August 13, 2021, 08:15:06 PM
The sexy casino is a trick used by casino owners to attract more visitors, it's almost like a striptease club.  The visitors who visit the sexy casino certainly have various kinds of desires, some really want to gamble or just get acquainted with the sexy waitress there.  i've come into casinos that have sexy waitresses a few times and to be honest, i'm having a hard time focusing lol.

That's true it's hard focusing on gambling specially like poker games and there's some waitress around and It's really hard to focus on game I think this could be also and advantage so you get to lose on casino/gambling site. I really don't think I can handle both at the same itme.
Maybe you just try to focus on the game and not trying to look at the girls because that can make you lose control of your plays. As long as you do not think "much" about the girls and only think they are there to serve you with their services, you will not lose control of the game. But sometimes, man can easily get seduced by looking at the sexy girls who wear a bikini Grin
They put those girls and invested some money for them for some reasons and one is that is to distract players, that was obvious, I think. Maybe you can take your eyes out from them but if that is in front of you, I don't know how you gonna make it. Something that was used as a tool to attract more players and as well as it helps to decrease the chances of winning.

Well, it wasn't a problem if you are just enjoying but those who are seriously gambling for the sake of money, I don't know.
3692  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Emotions should never be traded. on: August 13, 2021, 03:59:13 PM
Personally, if we wanted to have positive results on our trade, we have to learn first how to control our emotions. Apparently, this was the challenging part of trading as we all know that it was really hard to do it in real life.

Although we can't make ourselves to commit that, it wasn't a failure for me. Emotions are a natural feeling for everyone and could certainly it gives a huge impact on our trades (negatively) but have to accept this as we have no chance to stop nor to totally eliminate this thing.
3693  Economy / Economics / Re: What’s the nature of currency? on: August 13, 2021, 02:52:57 PM
snipped~

Yeah, that was my point. I know it's getting easier and easier, but I honestly have to admit it wasn't straightforward at first, and it's almost guaranteed you'll make a mistake in your first few attempts at using Bitcoin, and I consider myself a little bit more educated than average and still I've made mistakes (wrong fee, wrong coin, wrong change address etc. Like you said, the most basic step, private keys, is even missing from most newbies.

Bitcoin still has to find a way somehow to be even friendlier to use.

Yes, it is really complicated for novices to operate. This is a completely new monetary system that is completely different from the existing financial system. Need to use and adapt to brand new software. In the future, when I start my Rainbow City project, an important module is Bitcoin education. I will create the simplest learning course suitable for novices on the basis of the existing bitcointalk. This process may be very boring, but I think it is very valuable. Thanks again to every old member of the forum who selflessly helped newcomers.
It wasn't boring for those who are willing and eager to learn for something that was a more helpful and valuable asset in the crypto space. As it was simplified and teaches the nature of Bitcoin, the more it becomes interesting. I know for sure that the plan will succeed, it certainly gains major support from the community like this it helps not only to spread awareness and knowledge to the people around but also it diversify the negative thinking that most people have lived for many years in doubts.
3694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of crypto on: August 13, 2021, 02:10:51 PM
Nowdays crypto becomes most important in overall world many country used crypto for payment so these thing increase crypto value some country prohibit crypto but I hope crypto are using in overall world soon because crypto have a bright future
Maybe you are seeing this 100 years from now but to know where we are today, we are still far from it. We are not yet in full market adoption, the majority are still don't know about crypto and its important role in the market.  It could be sad but that is the reality. Of course, we have to understand the situation, adoptions will take a while. If we could gain more support coming from the big companies and much possible from the Government, there is no doubt seeing a brighter future for crypto.
3695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: August 13, 2021, 12:40:32 PM

There's a little chance that Casimero would be KO, but I also like the chances because Rigondeaux was so angry against Casimero. The trash talking of Casimero seems so effective, and according to him, 1-3 rounds, he will kO Rigondeaux and send him to retirement.

have some fun watching their face off.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FMrUTqMnkk

that's pretty hilarious. i didn't know Rigondeaux is a 2-time gold medalist in Olympics. quite an achievement already before his pro career.

casimero is very confident with his game, it boosts his confidence when he thought that the boxers back away from fighting him like he is the most fearsome in his division. he sometimes sounds too proud but i gotta say he is a tough fighter.

they both show sportsmanship by shaking hands in the faceoff though. i don't think Rigondeaux totally angry, he must have understood that this is a marketing promo.

You are right, lol. I thought at the beginning he was angry but when I finish watching, they shook hands in the end and looks like Rigondeaux is happy to have a good fight against a prime boxer Casimero. He also understands that people do not anymore believe he can still dominate as the odds are telling he is a big underdog.
3696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: August 13, 2021, 12:16:15 PM
That is, do you think that Ugas is so much weaker than Pacquiao that he will not be able to win one of 5 fights against him (if it were possible to conduct 5 such fights in identical conditions)? It turns out that if you're right, then the 1.26 odds on Pacquiao's victory are super beneficial and you can make an all-in for this outcome?

Suddenly people stop talking about the age of Pacquiao that he is old and he might get injured seriously. But anyway, Yordenis Ugás is not as young as Errol Spence, he is already 35 years but at that age he might still be in his prime. Lots of possibilities in this fight, but all I can see now is that people are thinking it's just an easy fight for Manny Pacquiao.

This is understandable. Spence is a young undefeated boxer and a clear contender to dominate over the years. Yordenis Ugas is a slightly younger boxer than Pacquiao with an impressive record of defeats and does not claim to be a milestone in boxing history. It is possible that the upcoming fight will be easy for Pacquiao, I think if it happens this way, everyone will be disappointed.

I'm watching his fight against Shawn Porter where he lost via SD, I think he is just too slow compared to Pacquiao and I can see an easy win by Pacquiao if he will just always be careful. This is the video of the full fight, courtesy of Premier Boxing Champions (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vAwDc3BgZpk)

I also think we will not see a competitive fight, it's either Ugas will just try to defend himself by running or he will take a risk and suffer the vicious defeat against Manny Pacquiao, the odds are just fair because it looks like it's an easy win, so I'll go for the KO per round as it's more interesting for me.
3697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: August 13, 2021, 07:23:31 AM

My bad, I should take that early odd which gave Casimero 1.44 than what it is now.

Just a 3% drop, still worth it if you really believe that Casimero would win this fight.

Still on stake, and nothing on Sportsbet yet.
https://stake.com/sports/boxing/international/international-matchups/42107120-casimero-johnriel-rigondeux-guillermo

No handicap betting yet, it might be available tomorrow since the fight is already in 2 days from now.

Waiting for the handicap betting as well, as I have said, ML is not that attractive and it the odds keeps on dropping, then surely not a good way to bet.

Speaking of handicap betting, what rounds you guys think that the fight will end? 8-9-10 for a Casimero win or 10-11-12 for a knock out?

I think it will be 4-5-6.  Smiley... I'm thinking of almost the same scenario against Tete where he knocks him out in round 3, I will give Rigo 3 more rounds though. Anyway, I don't really count it, it's just for fun as I don't underestimate Rigo, but if he will get caught by a clean punch, we know what will happen to him.

The odds that you are looking for are already available.

Here's a complete odds of the fight. https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/boxing/international/international-matchups/casimero-johnriel-rigondeux-guillermo-611363bce37fe37930dcf191

I'm thinking of betting on Rigondeaux to win by KO, that x11 currently, isn't it attractive?
The Odds are good but do you think that he can Knocked Down Casimero? who we knew being tough and stamina fighter?

Yeah the booking offers big winning but the chance is very little , He may win against casimero(though i doubt it) but the opportunity of Knocking him down is far from reality .

but of course that is your money mate and you will decide whom to bet.

I am for casimero tomorrow , hope you will choose the winning one.

3698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 13, 2021, 07:11:52 AM
Leonard is staying with the LA Clippers.

NBA free agency 2021: Kawhi Leonard agrees to four-year, $176.3 million contract with Clippers

With this news, I still consider the LA Clippers to be one of the favorites to win the NBA Championship next season.
I think they just need to manage the minutes of Leonard like what Raptors did when during his time there, the "load management" is very helpful.

As expected, we all know he will stay but just trying to maximize his salary and he was successful in doing that.
per report, his salary last season was 39.3 million USD, https://www.spotrac.com/nba/los-angeles-clippers/kawhi-leonard-8066/

now his salary will be at least $44 million per year. That's huge.
3699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 13, 2021, 06:46:46 AM
Meanwhile, JMF is now grieving the death of his mother, probably we will not see him return soon.

As part of the country's protocol, the funeral should just take up to 2-3 days.

He can still be with the team when the league returns on 21st. And I think he will be more motivated to play rather than to sit in the corner. He is super close to his mother so he won't show any signs of just sitting in the corner and mourns as for sure, his mother won't like that.

Back in the league, PBA teams told to prepare for possible bubble anew. I wonder why they used the word "possible" meaning there is no 100% plan for now? Anyways, reading the article, there's no mentioned date unlike in the previous news that the return will be on August 21st.

I hope Fajardo will not be affected a loss from the loss of his mother, and you are right, hopefully, he will use it as his inspiration to play harder and get back to his MVP shape the soonest possible time. With this delay, it's again very helping the teams with players that are suffering from injury, it was previously reported it will be back this month but now the status is postponed, so we can expect next month I think.

Here we are again, the word delay could mean next month or next year, we don't know now where they will resume as they did not gave any estimated timeline. NBA is over, so we really need the PBA to resume again so the betting will resume, for now, I'm really bored as I don't like betting on NBA preseason too.
3700  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is margin trading good for beginners ? on: August 13, 2021, 04:26:53 AM
Try to take a safe position and learn little by little.Trading on margin is an excellent way for experienced traders to boost their purchasing power and explore trade opportunities that they otherwise couldn’t using on-hand cash alone. However, margin trading comes with significant risks, especially if used incorrectly or to double-down on individual trades, and can make managing your trading accounts more complex. Be careful to fully understand how margin works and spread your risk across a diverse portfolio before jumping headfirst into trading on margin.
It is a need to be aware of how risk this margin trading is compared to spot trading where mostly newbies and even old-timers are still there. There is no wrong about trying, who knows exactly. But can't deny and assume that losses are what we have to get, not profit. Even in spot trading, even experts traders could still be at a loss how much more if know nothing or if we just only know the basics.

That you right,
OP, it was good not to think of getting into a huge profit, better to work on building the fundamentals of your trading journey as this was the ticket for your success.
