3701  Other / Meta / Re: We can not discuss if 'ChipMixer is a honeypot or not' outside their own thread? on: March 19, 2023, 05:52:51 PM
Turned out OGnasty was right...

Thanks for the validation. You’d be surprised how frequently I turn out to be right. “I should’ve listened to you” is something I’ve heard so many times. Whether it be about investing in BTC or avoiding vaccines, or in this case taking payments to promote a money laundering service…

I congratulate OGnasty for his valiant efforts; the now departed TECSHARE and the mad genius Cryptohunter were also among the highly insightful and moral members who called out the Chipmixer Signature scam for many years.

A by product of the incredible greed exhibited by the Chipmixer signature gang is that after years of backscratching and trust / merit collusion, some of these Chipmixer promoters ended up as the facetiously most "trusted" and "upstanding" members of this community...

Thanks. I had nothing to gain personally from it and was retaliated against via the trust network for doing so. It should be obvious to people here now that the “upstanding” members of our community have been taking payments for helping scammers launder funds stolen from members here all while trying to act like the forum police for who is good and bad here. My gripes against the current state of the DT network should make more sense now for those who haven’t been paying close attention.

Now we get to watch all these money laundering promoters suddenly stop promoting ChipMixer while swearing they didn’t do it for the money, they did it to push privacy. LOL.
3702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Bitcoin services do we need for mass adoption? on: March 19, 2023, 05:42:40 PM
For mass adoption I don’t think it’s necessarily more services that need to be created as much as it is the basic acceptance of crypto for existing services. El Salvador being a good example. The government could kick off mass adoption by just announcing that Bitcoin is legal currency. When you can use it to purchase everything that a dollar could buy, then we’ll see mass adoption.
3703  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dare to take such gamble? on: March 19, 2023, 05:40:36 PM
I would bet against that all day long. Anyone would. If you owned any BTC at all this would be free money basically. If the price does go up that high then you’re insanely rich from your holdings, and if it doesn’t then you win a ton of money from someone who let his mouth write a ridiculous check that anybody would cash if given the opportunity to do so.
3704  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Value till 2033? on: March 19, 2023, 05:38:54 PM
I was just talking to a friend about this yesterday and going through the cycles and what can be expected if the fractal pattern continues. I think we ended up on a realistic price for Bitcoin in 2033 being somewhere around 2 million dollars per BTC. We also speculated that by then BTC will be being used by countries to trade goods and a price above 2 million per BTC would be appropriate. We’ll see. Seems far fetched to me.
3705  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 19, 2023, 05:36:11 PM
It looks like the profit taking may be over for this leg up in Bitcoin’s price. We seem to be back to pushing up against resistance on our way to $30,000. It still seems very possible we hit that level this month. Buyers are trying to grab all they can under $30K it seems and sellers are few and far between. I always forget what the rally off the bottom is like until you’re in it. Impressive market strength.
3706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 19, 2023, 05:33:36 PM
No televised games today but there are a couple that I think are fairly decent matchups to bet on. The Lakers have their backs against the wall and should be giving it their all against the Magic. The Nuggets are also facing off against the Nets and I like that matchup for them. So if I were betting today I’d take the Lakers and Nuggets to win in a parlay.
3707  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: March 19, 2023, 12:28:17 AM
Some sort of profit sharing would be cool. If you could put up funds and earn interest from the casino’s activities then I think it would be one of the more stable sources of income that crypto could provide. I know a few casinos do offer similar things but they’re usually small casinos trying to get help with their bankroll. An established casino offering this would be very popular, although probably not necessary for them or really beneficial at all.
3708  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Can I post this ? on: March 19, 2023, 12:24:29 AM
This is a tricky situation. It sounds like you’re going to have a tough time getting your funds. A good start would be collecting any screenshot evidence you have as posting quotes in text doesn’t do much to inspire confidence in your story. Then you might be able to start to build a case that other people can help you get resolution to. Right now I don’t think there’s much anyone can do to help.
3709  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you trust the co-vid19 vaccine ? on: March 18, 2023, 08:24:42 PM
At this point there’s enough evidence out there showing you that the vaccine is not safe and you’re better off with natural immunity. It is clear that politicians used this pandemic to enrich themselves and sell a vaccine that they had been preparing since before any of us were familiar with the term Covid. This is going to go down as the biggest scam in human history if the truth comes to light.
3710  Other / Politics & Society / Re: More bank recues... on: March 18, 2023, 08:22:55 PM
The way that they’re bailing out these banks shows that they’ve learned a thing or two since the 2008 crisis. The question is how much pain does the Fed want to inflict on the economy before they feel like they’ve done enough to combat inflation. It seems like they’re not quite done yet, even though everybody is ready for the bank failures to stop.
3711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will this Statement alone be enough to Prove my Gambling Loses for Tax Deduction on: March 18, 2023, 08:08:42 PM
I personally have never and would never claim gambling losses on my taxes. Besides it likely opening you up to further investigation that could lead to costly and stressful audits, I personally don’t believe it’s the government’s job to reimburse me for losses as a result of dumb decisions. Similarly to why I don’t claim crypto losses on my taxes. It just seems like personal responsibility to me.
3712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I think that there are Dark secrets in every Successful Business on: March 18, 2023, 08:06:15 PM
I’m not sure if I would categorize gambling as having dark secrets. Most casinos are pretty open about the fact that they make lots of money, and some of them even clearly display odds so that players aren’t misled about the possibilities. I guess their secrets would be things like no clocks and exits that take you through a maze to get out of the casino, but even those are fairly well known.
3713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 18, 2023, 08:04:25 PM
No televised games for me to watch today but there are a couple matchups that might make for intriguing bets. I’m not able to place any bets today unfortunately but if I was I think I’d have to put down a parlay bet with the Kings, Warriors, and Celtics all beating their opponents. Nothing mind blowing but those seem like safe enough bets to combine.
3714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won 500$ on Stake on a blackjack (in 1 minute) on: March 18, 2023, 06:37:05 PM
Not a bad win. I’m not sure if cherry picking this moment without more context proves much, but you can’t deny that making $500 in a minute is a good thing and something that gamblers are sure to want to try and replicate. I am curious how much of that money you ended up withdrawing or if you gave it all back afterwards.
3715  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can do 30k$ this month? on: March 18, 2023, 06:34:02 PM
Every pullback seems to hit higher and higher lows. It seems pretty inevitable that the bitcoin price will hit 30K and very soon. I don’t think this rally is done. There are going to be little pauses for profit-taking along the way, but it seems as though this bull run still has legs. A good time to adjust your holdings to make sure you don’t miss out on the next two years of gains.

Bitcoin To Reach $1 Million In Next 90 Days? Ex-Coinbase CTO Bets His Net Worth
https://coingape.com/bitcoin-news-bitcoin-to-reach-1-million-in-next-90-days-ex-coinbase-cto-bets-his-net-worth/

I’m not sure if he’s serious or if this is some way to promote bitcoin for a couple million dollars but I don’t think anybody truly believes that the price is going to take off that much that fast. It would be incredible how much money would be made in the futures market if that did happen but like I said, I don’t think it is possible.
3717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 18, 2023, 03:55:32 PM
Injuries are really taking a toll one the NBA as we get closer to the end of the season. I should be getting excited about the Los Angeles Lakers playing the Dallas Mavericks tonight, but I’m not sure if any of the superstars are going to be on the floor. Luka maybe will put on a show but I would’ve loved to have seen Kyrie and LeBron face off again on their latest teams.

What a beauty this ending was.

Our guy Maxi Kleber with 3 clutch free throws 15sec before the end to make it a 1 point game and then after a Lakers turnover Maxi's first NBA game winner buzzer 3 pointer.

He is a force on the defensive end but his shooting from 3 is  definitely worth mentioning as well.

Thanks AD for the "great" foul on Maxi shooting a 3, amazing.

GO MAVS.

It was basically how the Lakers team has been for the last couple of years.  They just aren't that good and I hope they don't make a full series playoff because they will get smacked around and be boring.  Was funny because as I was watching that broken play and was thinking to myself the Lakers are gonna screw this up and bam.  3 at the buzzer lol.

I think that will change when LeBron comes back. This is by far the best Lakers team without LeBron James. I mean, they are winning games and slowly rising in the ranking. I'm thinking that if LeBron comes back, they'll be even better. Maybe they are not too entertaining too watch, but playoffs will be a different story. It's about experience and the quality of players on a team. With a healthy AD and LeBron, I'm sure they'll be competitive, but I'm not sure if they'll win a championship together again.

Heartbreaking loss for sure, but it made for exciting basketball. The Lakers are watching their playoff hopes fade away as this is the second close loss in a row for them. They had better start winning some games, or LeBron will be back too late for any chance of him carrying them back to the finals. At this point, I’m not sure if they’ll make the playoffs or not.
3718  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 18, 2023, 03:52:22 AM
This is not a bull run. It's just a gyration in the market. It's noise along our predestined path downward. Six months from now the price will be a lot lower than it is.

Unfortunately for you, you are wrong. $16K was the low this cycle and now you’re going to have to spend the next two years being wrong. I’m sure you probably enjoy that part of the cycle more than when you’re right, and if so you should be a happy camper, because we’re headed upward to over six figures. You’ve been around long enough to know that your period every four years where you are right is now behind us.
3719  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 18, 2023, 12:24:22 AM
Are we preparing for a bull run? I am surprised because I did not think we would see above $26000 again this month and the news is all positive atm. If you google Bitcoin you get results of experts predicting above $30000 and while I try to keep a open mind I do not always fall for what they call experts but it does seem that the overall attitude is positive and that should help create hype and push the price up further.

I think the bull run kicked off already when we left $16K. I think we’re in for a multi year run that will take us into the six-figure range. We’re just seeing the early days of it now which can appear the most explosive. I think in the short term we’re looking at $30K and it might sit there for a little while before moving higher. I do think we will be moving much higher though…
3720  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 🏀 2023 NCAA March Madness Tournament Pool 🏀 on: March 18, 2023, 12:13:58 AM
I completely missed March madness this year. I’m not sure what happened but it completely slipped my mind until it was too late. I’m hearing that it has been a crazy year and almost all of the brackets are already disqualified. Knowing that I’m guessing I would already be out of the running anyways. Still a cool initiative though.
