3721  Other / Meta / Re: HOW TO REDUCE SCAMMING on: October 17, 2016, 02:48:15 PM
I find it unbelievable the amount of scumbag scammers on this forum . Im relatively new here by 7 month .

TWO ........... yes 2 things would drastically reduce scamming on this forum

1 - STOP THE SALE OF ACCOUNTS ! !

Makes a mockery of the status of accounts . Some scammer can buy an account with great trust and scam the hell out of people .

Banning accounts would do nothing because they would still happen just behind closed doors and would lead to even more scams when naive users believe account sales don't go on and can trust anyone based merely on rank.

2 - STOP PEOPLE USING SELF MODEERATING POSTS ! !

99% of these are used by scammers so they can delete accusations and complaints .

It's true that self-modded threads are exploited by scammers but they're also usually red flags to use caution. However, self-modded threads are also good for legit users to keep out trolls, spammers and scammers. In fact, you're starting to look like a perfect example of this. Looking at your post history it seems you have a penchant for spamming about how you've been scammed by various users x amount of months later in an attempt to get your money back which is starting to look a bit like extortion to me:

DONT LISTEN TO THIS SCAMMING SCUMBAG
HE SCAMMED ME FOR $20 FOR HIS XBOX INFO THAT DIDNT WORK
NOW IM RUINING HIS SALES HE ISNT HAPPY
ALL HIS INFO HE SELLS IS SHIT AND CAN BE FOUND FOR FREE ON INTERNET

SAVE YOUR MONEY
STOPPED WORKING 7 MONTHS AGO
YET THIS LOSER STILL SELLS IT LOL DESPERATE

Ive been scammed for $1 ! !   Yeah thats ONE DOLLAR ! ! !

So im gonna do my mystic Meg impersonation and say - You will make no sales .

3 reasons .

1 - No vouch copies will be given as you arent giving away free shit you said

2 - You are a new member with no trust and can disappear with the money easy

3 - You attitude stinks . You are trying to sell something here which is HIGH RISK and you are talking to people like they are scum

You wont sell any here and it serves you right .

THIS SCAMMER TOLD ME HE WOULD HELP ME EVERY STEP OF THE WAY TO SET UP MY TV FOR IPTV .
I KEPT ASKING HIM BEFORE I PAID IF I WOULD GET HELP AND HE SAID YES NO PROBLEM I WILL HELP YOU .
ONCE I PAID HE TOLD ME TO GOOGLE IT ! !  YEAH THANKS FOR THE HELP .
I WAS AWAY FOR A FEW MONTH BUT IM BACK NOW AND HE WONT REFUND ME KNOWING HE DIDNT HELP ME AND KNOWING I NEVER USED THE SERVICE I PAID FOR .

AVOID THIS SCAMMER ! !

OMFG !!  ZOOMER SCAMS ME FOR $1.50 AND THEN GOES AROUND CALLING OTHERS SCAMMERS ? ? ?

DOESNT GET ANY MORE PATHETIC THAN THIS

YOU BETTER LOCK EVERY POST YOU DO SCAMMER

SCAMMED ME FOR $1.50

ACCOUNT LASTED ONE DAY

REFUSED REFUND LOL

NOW HARRASSES ME BY PM EVERYDAY

Now, I guess some of those might be genuine complaints but I'm not really sure why you continue to buy such wares from people here then complain about them not working several months later. So, are you genuinely getting scammed all these times or are you buying shit for cheap then trying to claw your money back months down the line by trolling sellers into refunding you? Regardless, I'd stop giving them your money if I was you.

Liverpool vs Man U for today's pick?
3723  Other / Meta / Re: What should i do to be un-banned on: October 16, 2016, 04:13:38 PM
The strange part is there was no warning so i could stop doint bad things. Also, the amount of spam was around 20-25 messages per week. One of another accounts of mine was banned for same reason but only for 7 days. Also the "7-day" banned account is Newbie, while main acc is Member.

What good is a warning to you? You got banned on one account then you continued to do the same on another?

Quote
That account wouldn't be still banned aswell, would it? Posting from your "main" account while your newbie "another" account is banned once again is ban evasion and a reason for all your accounts to be banned if discovered.
Wrong, mister.

thank you sir, I never have idea to selling my accounts. i have multiple accounts only for fun because i like debate

Why do you need multiple accounts to debate? It's not against the rules to have any amount of accounts from any number of ips but you can't make poor posts from them or you'll risk having them all banned and looking at your current posts they lean more towards being spam than constructive and especially if you're doing this on multiple accounts.

If it is possible i would like to hear moderator's word on my main account, please. Do i have any chance getting it back, please ? I still cannot understand why there was no warning like 7-day ban for the account with higher rank than Newbie. Acc id is 226722.
Thanks and sorry for breaking rules of BTC.

This doesn't apply here. If you have one account banned you cannot post on another during your ban. If one account is permanently banned then this applies to all your accounts. Not sure what your other account was banned for but it's seemingly permanent.
3724  Other / Archival / Re: Looking for a signature campaign. on: October 16, 2016, 11:14:49 AM
You're probably best off titling this something like 'Signature for rent' since you want a specific deal and not looking for existing ones, but it's vary rare that users get offered special deals on signatures especially seeing as you admitted you wont be making many posts so you're probably wasting your time with this venture.
3725  Other / Meta / Re: Automatic intro/tutorial/walkthrough for newbies on: October 16, 2016, 10:28:35 AM
Yeah, I think they should be given some links to the rules and possibly a faq that goes over all the usual questions that get asked. I think a link to the rules should be provided when you have a post deleted as well so you can likely work out why it was removed and so you don't do it again.

The elite apparently has the deepest chamber of all portable vapes so not understanding that complaint.
3727  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Vaping Store accepting Bitcoins or Litecoins? on: October 16, 2016, 07:05:18 AM
For weed vapes or regular ones? As Joel mentioned Namaste is legit. There's a guy with his own site who posts on here also: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=265229.0;topicseen

There you go (thank hilarious for this great discovery)

https://www.namastevaporizers.com/products/gp-elite-vaporizer

That is seemingly considered a very good one for the price. It's $170 but if you use the discount code VAPEGOSSIP it'll be $145. They also accept bitcoin.

Watch a couple of reviews on youtube to see if you'd like it.

How was it?
3728  Other / Meta / Re: Mod copy paste's - and others on: October 16, 2016, 06:40:03 AM
I wish there was a script for this because copy and pasting is rife and quite difficult to spot especially if you're not looking out for it and it's extremely time-consuming to do so. The only real way to catch them is to copy a few fairly unique words or a typo that stands out and put them in the search but even they can bring up pages of results along with all the posts that have quoted it. They tend to do it in the big threads with 40+ pages but not exclusively.
3729  Other / Meta / Re: How to close a thread in BitcoinTalk.org on: October 15, 2016, 11:33:11 AM
Bottom left.
3730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Low quality topics do not belong here. on: October 15, 2016, 10:51:58 AM
Low value topics that do not encourage constructive discussion do not belong in Bitcoin Discussion. Threads not directly about news or developments within the Bitcoin ecosystem such as the following all now belong in Off Topic:

If i give you 10 BTC what will you do?
In 20 years, what would you like to do with your bitcoin?
If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do?
What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin?
Would it be impossible to make 14BTC by the end of the year?
if you rewarded 1btc

Please do not create any more threads asking what you will do with 1,2,10,100 bitcoins etc. Any threads that are deemed largely unimportant or unsubstantial in nature by Staff will either moved to Off Topic or trashed. Please report any threads you believe to be unsubstantial or don't meet the above criteria. Thanks.
3731  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to become famous in this forum on: October 14, 2016, 07:45:33 PM
Leaking your sextape helps. That's how satoshi started off.

If you want to be a respected member then just be very active and do respectable things but not really sure why you want to set out to be respected straight out of the gates and it's certainly not something you can earn quickly or overnight and should take years to build.

I've warned him about before. Just report it in the future.
3735  Other / Meta / Re: 10 years.... on: October 13, 2016, 02:11:30 PM
10 years lol. Contact Cyrus with the relevant info and he will restore it if appropriate to do so.
3736  Other / Meta / Re: I want to unban my account on: October 12, 2016, 05:48:12 PM
You don't need to have read the rules to know that plagiarising other's content wouldn't be ok. Would this excuse be acceptable if you got caught cheating an exam by copying other's work? No. You cheated and got caught. You're not going to be unbanned.
Peole do warn us if we cheat in exam, and teachers always remind students not to cheat. So please, for the first time... Or just ban me for a week.. Nobody reminds me about this. I will delete post which i have copied

Do they need to tell you not to steal as well? Regardless, you don't need any warnings because you know it's not right or acceptable but I'm not going to argue with you about it and you're not going to be unbanned. Anyone who is caught doing this gets the same treatment so we're not going to start making exceptions.

Oh, surprise surprise. Another copy and paster:

Nah, gambling isn't wrong as long as you don't gamble excessively. It becomes wrong when you gamble all that you have even the money that you should use to buy food. When you can't control yourself not to gamble specially when your losing. You should understand just gamble what you can afford to lose.

Did you use one when you created it? It has 484 evil points so you must have signed up from a connection that is known to have been previously abused. Is this the account you're talking about? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=854122 pmxvcdc
3740  Other / Meta / Re: I want to unban my account on: October 12, 2016, 03:35:44 PM
It's proxybanned. Did you sign up via tor? You can either pay the fee to unlock it or just create a new account from a connection that isn't proxybanned.
