3721  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Bitcoin price is too high? on: July 01, 2016, 03:00:22 PM
The fact that a lot of people are voting for 1000 proves that they will kill themselves in 10 years when Bitcoin is 100,000 to 1 million years. They think 1,000 is high when 1,000 is shit nothing.

Hell yeah, that price is nothing compared to the one we will see in the next few days.
It is all about distribution, and if bitcoin gets mass adoption, its price will rise accordingly with the increase in demand.
3722  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: July 01, 2016, 02:58:15 PM
If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose?

I'd say, 60% to gold, 40% to Bitcoin

Honestly I would go 100% on Bitcoin, unless I was already rich, but if you want to get rich, you gotta take risks, and means going all in on Bitcoin. All other options aren't worth it. The risk reward is too low.
In short term If You take bitcoin at todays prices then You can lose like 50% profits because btc can drop to 300-400$ again..but in long term after 10 years btc will be huge  Smiley

You will not see those prices again, as after the upcoming spike, 750 should be the best considered bet according to me to be the least stable price for the future until next halving.
3723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: July 01, 2016, 02:56:53 PM
If we keep playing on online casino, there is pretty good chance to get addicted of gambling so this can bring so many problem into our life, most of the people they will keep winning on gambling site and in the end get addicted, this is very big problem when we can't do anything in real life cause of this.

Yeah, agreed. I think we need to focus on real life virtues so that we may be able to drag ourselves out of gambling, else we may consult to people who might help. It is like drugs, which makes it hard for us to stop taking it again and again.
3724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin trusted to put your real money on: July 01, 2016, 02:47:57 PM
Can you trust anything in today's world?
Your friends, boss, wife, media, even your government and international institutions?
I don't think so.
In the same way, even if you invest money in the real market, you can't be sure if you will earn something or loose everything.
So, we can't give you any guarantee about bitcoin now.
It's still mostly idea, not reality, but we are trying to reach breakthrough point and become mainstream.
Everything is risk in life, so never invest money you can't afford to loose.

Mind explaining what did you lose in this? So far, people have just been earning bitcoins, and even earning fiat with it.
We know everything is risky, but bitcoin has the least risks currently compared to what other resources are available in the markets to invest on.
3725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best strategy in Roulette ? on: July 01, 2016, 01:15:35 PM
just martingale it, if u have unlimited money.. u wont loose Wink))))))

Martingale might help, but if you go for different odds, I mean more than 2 of course, because you will only try to get your first bet profit even by losing many ahead.
3726  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: July 01, 2016, 01:13:39 PM
I have hold most of my coins for a few years. It seems that is good option apart from the November 2013 period.
I think it does not always hold for too long is a good thing? could you buy at the higher price. so it is best to buy at a low price and sell them at high prices. should not wait too long ?
Waiting and holding for too long is the best idea so far, base on history those who hold bitcoins for a longer period of time are already rich by now and that is because every year the price of bitcoins increases and we can easily detect if there is a crash going to happen.

I would say that don't hold your bitcoin for a very long time but if you can see the price fluctuates good then go sell your bitcoins.
But if we are going to ask the experts which are the bitcoin millionaires.
They would probably say that hold it for a long time.

Holding is actually good, but trading is much better. Don't worry, even if he holds, he won't be in any loss though.
Holding your coins means you have no risk of losing them as you won't be trading, so you are completely safe.
3727  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: July 01, 2016, 01:12:14 PM
I am buying it at dips of 650 whenever it takes place, because I know this will go above 1k and I will be able to double my investment in no time.

Good decision as the price today reached  $677 already. And that means you already have $27 earnings from buying it on lower price.
And still keep on waiting for it as the price is going to increase further.

I have already made of $2700 with those pumps that touched $750 before. Now, planning for something big, my goal is to reach $10k with this volatility, I know I am on a dangerous ride, but I will win in the end.
3728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: July 01, 2016, 01:10:37 PM
There no safe mothods to gamble, you always take a risk
dont try to gamble if do not want to lose in gambling.

True, nothing can save anyone from losing in gambling. The house always wins and that's the rule, they won't let anyone take their money at any cost.
3729  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is Buy time! on: July 01, 2016, 01:09:42 PM
Yes I agree, it is indeed buy time.  Let us buy bitcoins when it is still at its low price.  I believe that after the halving period the price of bitcoin will goes up again. And it would be hard to buy bitcoins when it is on its height.

If you are out for a long time holding scheme, it can be wise to buy now, but even so, I do expect the price to touch down towards 500 dollar. Which means I am not buying since I hope to buy back way lower then what we are seeing now.

The pump is over and we now may see a normal price of around 450 to 500 dollar.

Exactly, I haves the same feeling that pump is over now and we wont see higher price in coming days, but being positive, I am holding my coins till halving, if any miracle happens then can earn higher profits.
Ironic that the price made a jump again. I think where in a stage when the price move up slowly and not making a sudden soar. Well, It's good to see that the price is not so volatile sometimes.

It's still 1st July and it's just the start, so don't worry. You will see hell loads of volatility in the markets once halving starts coming more and more near.
3730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: July 01, 2016, 01:08:32 PM
if you're talking bout bitcoin gambling then i have a solution for you, throw all your bitcoins on a paper wallet, and hide it or give it to someone to hold. then if u dont have access to the coins, you can gamble.  Grin

I think this is not effective, because they could have instead borrowed the money to the airport or a friend who is getting to reproduce the problem. If you want to go from gambling then the first thing is to remove gambling from our minds and then force yourself not to use gambling. Or it could remain a gamble but by using a very minimum bet
I agree. even though you control yourself to hide all the things that may trigger your addiction. It will still urges you and make you feel uncomfortable with what you did, so surely after a week you will get the coins and do a gambling again.

you need to do it consistently not just once and then give up controlling yourself . that means putting away all the money you earn it can be each day or each week or each month depending on the intervals that you are getting paid, it is a battle that you have to try so hard to win.

So All it's back to your-self. First it's consistently at foundation your mind set. Just this gambling it's for fun, so all will be fine and try to take out from gambling.

Take out what? And by the way, just mindset alone won't help the gambler to leave gambling, he needs to speak out everything to his family to let them too help him get him out of gambling.
3731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your biggest loss gambling? on: June 30, 2016, 04:14:42 PM
Once I made a bet of BTC0.5 on a Soccer Parlay of 8 matches out of which 7 were won and only 1 was lost, the odds were around 10.
That was the worst loss that I had in gambling.
3732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: June 30, 2016, 04:12:26 PM
block your internet  Grin Grin

I think block your internet is not the answer for stay away from gambling, it will make you bored and will come back into gambling. Find a new hobby is a good plan though.
Or maybe find some real life activities, like playing cricket, playing soccer and if you have no interest in these then try to watch movies and avoid gambling. Being involved in physical activities in better than uselessly blocking internet and then regretting.
I agree, physical activities will give you a healthy lifestyle and you can easily forget your problem as you will be meeting new friend to socialize with, with them you can learn other insights that would interest your to live a healthy lifestyle.
Yeah, but I think things is still depends on the the person who have the problem.
The only thing we can do is to recommend things and that's a  good way because we're letting him find the specfic activity that may fit his interest.

Yes. He may try to go to gym, or hang out with people he likes, play video games, spend his time doing his work, many things are there in this world to remain untouched from gambling.
3733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can u lose with gambling? on: June 30, 2016, 04:11:06 PM
You lose, you play again, you lose again, still you play. That's an addiction, which makes you lose everything slowly unless you go bankrupt.
So you are not left with anything when it comes to losing in gambling.

FTFY. But, if he gives his coins to someone, what if that other person is himself a gambling addict?
OP, you should just start concentrating on other things than going on those sites where you gamble everytime.
3735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best strategy in Roulette ? on: June 30, 2016, 04:08:02 PM
This game is a bit more tricky and entertaining than others. I always bet on 3:1 line, and double my bet on loss, but you need to change the lines each time you lose, you will probably win on the next one.
3736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: June 30, 2016, 04:05:27 PM
The odds that I get in gambling is the thing I keep coming back to the site I use to gamble at.
I bet at very much big odds that even if I lose 5 bets and win just 1, I will still be in profit.
3737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should we tip people asking for BTC in gambling websites? on: June 30, 2016, 04:04:12 PM
Many people post their problems and ask for help. Are they really needy? Should we tip them? If they were not needy, they would have tried faucets. Or maybe they are fooling us? What would you do?

Not saying all of them, but most are scammers trying to get bitcoins doing nothing, but begging in many different ways, and it is really difficult to check someone if they are real or not, so instead, just ignore them and move on.
3738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halvening! Can I buy Bitcoins at this high price? on: June 30, 2016, 03:59:17 PM
There is no price too high for this thing, it is still low based on talks that I have been exploring on this forum, I think we may see a spike for sure.
3739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the year 2100 on: June 30, 2016, 03:58:16 PM
That's about a century's end which is unpredictable. If you ask about a decade, I think bitcoin will be used in almost every part of the world and as a global currency.
3740  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Bitcoin price is too high? on: June 30, 2016, 03:57:04 PM
If we get the whole world to use Bitcoins, then I think that no price is too high for it as there are just 21M bitcoins and if spread among billions of people, it needs to be a lot worthy.
