3721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What goes up must come down on: April 18, 2021, 02:14:40 PM
There is too much leverage and too much potential profits in crypto space today which makes me feel like I'm reliving the 2017/2018 era once again, forget the big institutions investing money on crypto, those who bought at 4000$ per BTC are already millionaires/billionaires, you can't expect them not to take profit, be prepared
This is especially true on this crypto space. Even bitcoin is known for coming down up to 70% from its ATH on each cycle. Someone somewhere is bumping some coin not for the benefit of all the crypto people but for their own benefits hence it is completely meaningless if we are expecting them not to take profits at any time. Always holding our crypto stash with some stoploss will be helpful. It means that we cannot expect the bull run to be continuing all the times.

Recent dogecoin's run must be a great example for this scenario. Dogecoin rallied up to 720 satoshi but there were people speculating about testing up to 1000 satoshi but it seemed whales started booking profits hence it went down up to 410 satoshi in next next sessions; people waited for 1000 satoshi might have booked in between or might be still holding.
3722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB will remain valuable for a long time on: April 17, 2021, 07:15:10 PM
BNB in the next year is certainly still valuable and will actually increase. As we know, the success of the Launchpad Program, which has attracted investors to hold BNB until now,
has certainly made many people do research. In addition, the Binance Smart Chain, of course, more and more projects will use the Blockchain. It can be seen that the current data is showing quite a good thing
Launchpad program not only helped the investors to get better projects, but it also helped project creators to get money and build those projects as well. This is why I think it is crucially important, it is really doing a great service to pay the right people to build the right things and that is why it has been so great so far.

There is really nothing that would be similar in any other place, all those ERC20 tokens and all usually gets made by people without help from anywhere else. Obviously this is because BNB is a centralized coin, and it is owned by Binance, it is not decentralized like ETH, but the truth be told eth foundation works on something and it gets done, look at how we are going towards eth 2.0 right now, they wanted it, we are getting it, technically speaking it is decentralized but if they convince everyone, it is not that much decentralized is it? So I think bnb is really awesome and has a big potential even though it is centralized.
3723  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you had 4,000.00 USD, what would you invest in? on: April 17, 2021, 04:46:32 PM
Good plan not putting your money in one single project, those coins that you choose are graded coins that always have good potentials, long term goal, it will bring very decent profits.
Diversification is always a key. But, sometimes I do think when we have bitcoin then why should we need to look into any other altcoins? Bitcoin's performance track is like that which will continue in coming years as well hence sometimes risking on any other altcoins seems unnecessary risk filled.

more on your list are still far from it's last time high and other are already surpassed the ath but still got the big chance to move forward and reached new time high.
What will be the assurance for them to get back to test ATH again? In my opinion most of altcoins will never get back to ATH in BTC values. So, for the people who invest BTC into altcoins might not get back what they actually look for.
3724  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Online Gambling 'or' Day trading cryptos- Which one is more lucrative? on: April 17, 2021, 08:41:11 AM
in my opinion, I would definitely prefer trading than gambling. Speaking of gambling, I still gamble seldomly but I have had numerous unlucky encounters with sports gambling to stay away from it. Humans are the most complicated creatures to predict. Instead, I prefer casino games. Since there is no emotions but luck it will always be my choice of gambling.
The both things you have mentioned carries risk and you can lose your money while you’re doing any of these, although the way they work is totally different; I would say that casino and the rest of them are relying on luck while the trading is all about doing analysis and knowing what can be the outcome of the market next, but you can’t be 100% sure that that it is, but you will know that there is the possibility of that such thing happening.

So the both of them has risk, but I do hear more of bad stories when it comes to gambling, although I have also seen people who were very lucky and won huge money that changed their life, but I wouldn’t say it is lucrative. Just go for trading, but you can still be trying out your luck in casinos if you wish.
3725  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there such thing as a “safe strategy”? on: April 17, 2021, 07:24:56 AM
Normally every strategy would have a Risk-Reward ratio of 1:1. To create a low-risk strategy in every trade try to take this ratio to 1:2. 1 times risk for two times the reward. Other than that one good strategy that doesn't always work is buying 24h lows. You just pick the 24h lows from Binance see if the low is backed by a big red candle on the chart and wait for a retracement in an upward direction.
Yes, it’s not advisable to buy when they are just getting into the market, because you’re sure heading for a loss. It’ has become a normal thing for people who are holding tokens to sell them immediately the token lands the market, and that would usually affect the price in that first time it is starting, they all end up crashing to a lower price than what they got into the market with, and if the project is strong they are still going to recover after the drop, but that’s not usually the case for all of them.

I like the strategy you have here, it’s a good strategy and is definitely going to work if one follows it right.
3726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An obvious rigging of Sports. on: April 16, 2021, 07:02:43 PM
I am not sure about the one you mentioned but honestly match-fixing and rigging in sports has reached the highest levels right now after the pandemic because maybe the players need more money and the bettors are taking advantage of this.

I was watching a dota2 match recently between SG Esports and Noping (sorry if the team's names are slightly mistyped) and the game was an obvious throw and anyone who watched it can easily tell that.

I have seen some of the NBA matches with a comeback from 20+ points which I am not accusing are fixed but surely something is wrong. There are some of the CBA (Chinese basketball) matches that are so obviously rigged that you can literally laugh your ass at how the referees are giving fouls and making a particular team win.
3727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: April 16, 2021, 06:06:34 PM
Chelsea is a dark horse in this four grands , but they have very real chances of reaching the final, because Real Madrid does not look very confident this season, their game is not stable, there are periodic recessions, and Chelsea can take advantage of this. I would like Chelsea to make it to the final.
Let's be real guys (pun intended), there is no way Chelsea could win. First of all you guys are saying Tuchel is a great manager and he is the reason why Chelsea is different now, but the reality is that Zidane could be the best manager in all of active managers, you can argue about Klopp or Pep as well (I have removed Mourinho long time ago from my list) but the reality is that Zidane is still up there no matter who you like, this guy won 3 champions league in a row, I do not remember when was the last time that happened.

Real Madrid has the better roster as well, Chelsea is not that great and even though they have managed to come this far, they had some lucky draws as well as playing well but not playing THAT well enough to beat Real. I think an upset is possible in any matchup, teams can always beat each other and there is no doubt over that, but CLEAR favorites here are the Real Madrid for sure.
3728  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: my trading is a fail help me, thanks on: April 16, 2021, 05:41:23 PM
Even though it can only be counted in hand, I think it is still OK and we must still be happy for that. I tried to trade before but even a count of success in hand did not happened. Anyway, I think you used a small capital that is why the profit is small too. I think that kind of beginning is a good start. Yes, maybe you want to share your strategy? Not all people who will read it will believe in you or will appreciate you but I am sure it will be a great help to some. Accept positive and negative criticism positively. Whats important is that you're earning through that strategy and you're not being selfish because you want other to earn too.
I have traded for a while now, and I can tell you that it usually gets better when you keep insisting on it. On my first ever year trading I have made a 20% minus return, lost 20% of my money, that wasn't really that bad to me, I saw it as learning expense (I actually bought some stuff to help me learn as well but that wasn't trading cost, just study cost).

Next year I made a tiny bit of profit, it wasn't big but it wasn't negative neither, and third year was about the same, it was tiny enough that market beat me by a lot. On my fourth year I have made a bit more than that, it was good, I could say I finally caught up with the market. This year, I didn't even traded, I just bought bitcoin at low prices because I believed it would go up, and then it went up like 10x from where I bought it, so I am doing quite good, that is why you should always keep grinding if you can afford it.
3729  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A little sad story on: April 15, 2021, 10:34:09 PM
So I got some bonus from bybit.

I longed btc at first with 50x leverage (you do that with 'free' money), but since it was on the rise for last few days, thought it will dip and closed the long, opened short.

Got liquidated soon after.

Had I not closed the long, I would be in several double digit thousands of dollars profit today.
Sorry about that, you’re not the only one that it has happened, it has happened to a lot of us that are here, there are times that we have made mistakes like this and ended up missing big opportunities that would have earned us a lot of money, and after all that we learnt our lessons and started to do what’s right to avoid that so that it doesn’t repeat again.

What you’re going to do now is to learn from what happened to you and learn to avoid this same kind of problem repeating itself in the future, know what to do to avoid it. If the problem here is that you’re doing day trading while you’re not good at it, then what you’re going to do is to take time and learn it switch long term.
3730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the most commonly USED crypto currency in the future? on: April 15, 2021, 06:52:21 AM
I think Bitcoin will be held like gold. Maybe even Ether as well.

But I'm personally thinking maybe dogecoin, maybe.... XLM and XRP, as well as Bitcoin cash, Dash, maybe lite coin. Of course USDT type.

I think many people, when the masses start using it more frequently. Will stick to older common coins that can be found at any crypto ATM and have the lowest fees and fastest transaction time.
Yes you’re right for sure, I think the coins you have mentioned will be commonly used for transactions. Then as for Bitcoin and Ethereum, I am not going to judge by what’s happening right now whereby the fees for transactions is much, I believe that in the future the problems are going to be fixed for good.

Ethereum devs are already working towards the ETH 2.0 and when that one rolls out it’s going to solve a lot of problems that the main Ethereum had. Then as for Bitcoin, we thought before that the lightening network would be the solution, but it seems that is not it. So for now we will be waiting to see what would happen, but I know for sure that a lot of people will be making use of it more than other cryptocurrencies.
3731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some questions about Cryptocurrency. on: April 14, 2021, 03:24:54 PM
Currently, 9,193 cryptocurrencies exist and a wallet couldn't support all of them. Some of that coins are inactive, but if a coin is active, but don't support by a wallet, then how can I have it?
How can I find a Token or Coin protocol? For example, what is the protocol of the SHIBA INU?
Any website exist that provide reliable forecast service?
Only 9,193? Probably you checked with old data Grin. Inactive coins are no more useful. You cannot move them but tokens on ethereum network are always moveable but what is the point of moving when such tokens are available on none of exchanges. Moreover, these days gas required to move is really ridiculous and due to that reason I have abandoned lots of ETH tokens.

If you are beginner and not into developments then you never need to worry on protocols/algorithms of coins. Just check with corresponding websites and download the wallet and check for right downloads by verifying the checksum and then start transacting those coins. I have few coins but their website itself down for long time.
3732  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia; The digital ruble will be launched in 2023 on: April 12, 2021, 04:47:01 PM
Senior leaders from Russia's central bank presented the main details of the supply of the country's national digital currency (CBDC) during a virtual press conference on Thursday. According to Alexei Zabotkin, Deputy Governor, and Olga Skorobogatova, First Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Russia, according to the current schedule, the digital ruble will probably be launched by 2023. It was previously reported that the bank intends to implement the digital ruble infrastructure by the end of 2021 and test prototypes of the currency by 2022. It now looks like the Central Bank of Russia's digital currency program will be realized in the next two years.
Don’t get why they are all rushing to create digital currencies since they are all the same, except that maybe they wouldn’t have to be printing money if the whole people decides to adopt the digital money, but when it comes to value I know very well these two are going to have the same, or is the CBDC being created as something totally different and having different value from the fiat we use?

My country is not talking about any digital so I have not really seen how this is going to be like, so I am saying based on what I have seen on the net.And by the way is anyone aware of how the Digital Yuan has been going in terms of adoption, are people really adopting this digital Yuan in China? Or they still choose to be using the normal currency they have been using before now?
3733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid been carried away, it's never going to be bullish forever on: April 12, 2021, 08:28:05 AM
I'm not saying BTC can't go to 65k or more but this market is getting more dangerous every day, to me crypto market is now in gamble state, don't be a tool to those who are experts in controlling the masses, you think there aren't those pulling the string? Wake up already.. we don't know how longer they will keep pulling the string and roll you over, be smart
How about for the people who are ready to wait for another 4 years? I mean you might be right that most altcoins might have already tested its ATH of 2021 and might face bearish market hereafter; for such altcoins, it would be much better to book profits right now. But, the problem is how we are going to filter them out. This is the reason long-term holders are not bothering about what is going to happen in near future.

If you feel like the profits already made easy enough for you then you can go for looking for profit booking otherwise it is not recommended to cut your positions in the middle. In trading terms, if you're a low-risk trader then you can go for book profits right away.
3734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance raised withdrawal fees again? on: April 11, 2021, 06:56:12 PM
The withdrawal fees were changed from 0 to 0.2 a month ago for the withdrawal of USDT as TRC20. I went with withdrawing some USDT from binance to Kucoin to buy some velo but the withdrawal fees taken were $1. It's absurd how much binance is charging for withdrawal when the fees from blockchain are most probably free for binance as they are super representative on tron blockchain.
I use binance for it's cheaper transaction fees but these these unnecessary withdrawal fees are going to be a push factor as newer exchanges too are coming with aggressive promotions.
Fees has been the problem that everyone has been facing through out this year ever since the bullish ride started, and I don’t think this bullish ride will end soon and that’s the same thing with exchanges and most of them will be adjusting based on the situation at hand so that they will be able to cope with whatever that is happening. It’s really not easy but I know for sure that they are going to be able to fix al these things soon when things starts getting better and better, it’s all with time.

Binance want more and more money, as usual. And they want to push you to use BUSD
Eehm… that’s another angle or thought of what’s happening lol,  we are not sure if that’s really the reason why they have increased their fees, but before all that they already have some perks that will convince whoever that wants to make use of their BUSD or whatever token they have.
3735  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trading from Scratch on: April 11, 2021, 06:30:39 PM
Trading in a bearish market could be profitable however, it is not as big as a bullish market can give. A bearish market is more likely a buying phase for traders since the prices of coins are way cheaper and then bullish is more likely the selling phase where you will make a profit. On that note, newcomers are only after with big profit so I doubt they will stay in this market once the bear market comes.
That really scares me a lot because each time I go into something thinking maybe I will make a profit from this one too, I am just considering the fact that I made a good amount of money this year but the fact is that one day I will fail, it will go down, and that is when I will be screwed and everything will crash while I am holding it.

I remember very clearly the period when in 2018 I was buying almost everything, since I got in with low amount of money and increased it, I took out my initial money plus some more and used rest of it to buy many different coins, I was throwing 100-200 dollars to anything I found. Eventually I started to lose when the market crashed. I am wiser now and I am not doing that, I am keeping myself in check and not put my money into everything, I still do invest more than I normally do, but not as much as I did in 2018 period.
3736  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there such thing as a “safe strategy”? on: April 11, 2021, 04:16:14 PM
I think there is one and that is hodling your bitcoin for long term and continuously buying bitcoin and accumulating more. I think that is a safe strategy in my opinion.
I just wonder why people like OP are not at all listening to this community but still looking for safest strategy for their trading purposes. When you are coming into trading, there cannot be anything safer; you must need to risk all your capital, time and efforts still there cannot be any assured results. But, holding bitcoin is something a stop for such people. The safer heaven for easy money.

If you want to establish strategies, there are many, as I said, you have to think carefully about your approach, whether it is investment or market speculation.
There are hundreds of thousand available but I bet none of them is safe for our capital. Holding is also a kind of strategy but it requires less technical part hence people never accept it as a strategy and never think about to make use of it for multiplying their capital.
3737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 11, 2021, 03:39:01 PM
Leipzig would now be the leader of the Bundesliga if he had taken advantage of his earlier opportunities. He lost to Bayern Munich at home. The champion in the Bundesliga is not clear, but with the advantage of points, Bayern Munich is the biggest candidate. Unfortunately, Schalke04 was the first team to fall. Schalke will be in Bundesliga 2 next year, although he has a chance to win mathematically. I am very sorry that the Schalke of the years has fallen into this situation.
It is not easy to keep winning constantly when your opponent is Bayern, Bundesliga is their league and it is quite difficult to keep winning and wait until they lose or get a tie. I understand Leipzig and their situation, they are right where they should be as the best hopes, we all know Bayern usually ends up winning the league almost always, and has been for a long time, so if you are second in the league you have achieved something very cool. This is why I think it is quite good that they are only 5 points behind Bayern and I would have expected even lower for them but they managed to keep it tight.

There is still a slight chance that they could win, and that is good enough if you ask me, if they are still in contention after 30+ games played, that is more than anyone would have guessed and that is why I would not really expect them to win but at least keep fighting.
3738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 10, 2021, 07:42:45 PM
Inter is still much stronger than Napoli, Roma and Juventus. The loss of points is possible only in the game with Juventus. The rest of the matches inter will win and possibly become the champion of Italy ahead of schedule. And the second place is likely to take Juventus.
Honestly this week is not the week anyone will move above anyone. Juventus will win most probably, or Inter will win as well, and Milan will win as well. If any of these teams end up losing that will be a shock and that is why I do not think that it is going to be that different. I know that Inter is doing fine and that is why they are going to be playing with a bit more ease. And when a team is so high at so late of the league that usually end up with playing a lot worse than they normally do because they get cocky about the standings.

I just think that we are going to end up with an Inter loss to a shocking team, I do not know when that will happen but I just think that it is not going to be this game. And as long as Inter keeps getting points, even with a tie, they are way too close to champions to end up losing the championship, that would be a big shock at this point.
3739  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to make you free on: April 10, 2021, 07:14:29 PM
In the world that we are living today been rich is freedom, yes money can take you places and buy you things, what's free when you are so poor that you can't take good care of yourself talkless of your families and loved ones? The freedom that I've achieved from bitcoin and crypto is financial freedom
I think the idea of "money doesn't buy happiness" was coined by someone who never felt the real poor life. In poor life you have so many things that could go wrong that I rather be rich and cry in my lambo then be poor and feel scared about being left homeless. I mean sure there are reasons to be upset in rich life as well, Steve Jobs was one of the richest people in the world when he died and he got cancer and even though he could have tried to fight it off, he knew that there was nearly no chance he would win and his latest days would be all sick and in bed, so he just gave up.

There are times like that when you are super rich, but you could also be Warren Buffet drinking coke and eating French fries everyday and live to 90 and not have that much problem in your life as well. No very poor person has a chance to be happy for long term, rich people at least have that possibility.
3740  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you believe history repeat itself? Economic wise. on: April 10, 2021, 04:12:20 PM
High inflation driving everybody insane. The guy who is running out of money to keep up with the expenditure are pushing themselve to gambling their cash on everything possible, stock market, crypto, commodity. The cycle can be seen in years of the past. It’s not a untold story.
Food price is surely soaring. Some items in the online store soaring in price too, can’t you ignore it wouldn’t impact your daily routine, the inflation drag everybody down into the rabbit hole, no one can escape this chaos.
Well that has been the issue in my country and people are blaming the current government for what’s happening in the country, and some who are able to find a way out of the country don’t waste a time in taking their leave to go look for greener pastures.

I believe that issues like this is something that the government can solve, but they always choose to ignore out of greediness and trying to launder money, none of them cares about the countries that they are really, and I believe this would come to an end when the people decides to take power into their hands and deal with the government officials. Food has been costly, and things has been getting worse since the coronavirus started, and everywhere is just messed up, and lots of things have been happening.
