Bitcoin is primarily intended for the purpose of creating a decentralized planet where territories and connection aren't a problem in terms of transactions. At least from my perspective, I do not know if Satoshi ever had in mind that his creation will grow this huge not only as an asset but as a store of value as well. Sure, the early adopters may think otherwise, but the fact that Satoshi hadn't placed any feature to support bitcoin's scalability is enough evidence for me to believe that he doesn't know his creation will be this valuable.

And the idea of getting rich via bitcoin, is I think not his concept why he created bitcoin in the first place. But yes, he maybe not gave a thought that this will be a very valuable asset today. And that we are grateful that he invented this cryptocurrency that opens door to blockchain technology as well. This tech changes a lot of things in how humanity does their businesses with. But right now, a lot are still considering bitcoin as an entry to get rich, and later on, they will enlighten themselves about its true nature.

Its depends on how you use your bitcoin, if you want to get rich because of it, then you can make it with hard works but we can also use it if you just want to be free, free means doing your wants without any limitations, or control from someone like government.

Bitcoin is the answer for people who wants to store their assets without any forms to fill up unlike when you're storing your money in banks. Its a convenient way and an alternative to remittance centers when it comes to sending money, easy and fast. It is indeed created for us to be free from the third party intermediaries, a digital currency that has high demand.

But because of this demand and volatility, users are also seeing it as an investment opportunity to grow their money. My thoughts is that bitcoin is just a medium to help you become rich or financially stable, in the end, you are the one that needs to utilize those tools given to you, what I mean by that is you do have bitcoin but you don't know what to do next so you are just stuck into holding only which isn't helpful if you want to get financially stable. I do agree that bitcoin can return the power to the working class but we all know that bitcoin is for everyone so even the ruling class can get in like what they are doing now.

You can mine it, trade it, invest in it, use it, earn it, spend it, throw it away do whatever you want with it, it is a personal preference and it wasn't created to do anything, it was created as a test and as long as that happens to stay and work that means it worked. There has been many for the past 30 years, and this one was just another that happen to end up working. This is why there is no specific reason and a method how you should use it, it is just something that was done and now we took it over, and we can do whatever we want with it.

The purpose of Bitcoin creation was many but we understand its purpose footing each individual's understanding about it and what we use it for. But footing what Satoshi said when he first introduced Bitcoin, Bitcoin definitely created as an alternative solution, not a test, and also to give power back to common people as wiss19 said since it involved no middle man.
Bitcoin was not the first e-money and those previous e-money failed because they operated in a centralized way and to enrich in the owner/creator.

Agree totally. Myself and I am sure many others got into Bitcoin because the premise of being in control of your finances and being your own bank was our only hope of getting out of the broken financial system of this world.

Many people complain about volatility, not seeing that Bitcoin deflates by more than 10% a year, sometimes reaching crazy numbers like 200%. Even 10% is more than any bank would give you for your money and then you'd have to subtract 2-5% inflation from that.

My thoughts exactly. Fiat money is controlled by the government, so what you do with the money is actually your footprints in every step that you take. Every trasaction is recorded so there isnt anonymity. Unlike bitcoin, it gives you control of your "savings". What you do with it depends on you alone. Moreover, your identity is practically secured, transactions just consist of your wallet address. Bitcoin isnt made to be "just" a coin, it gives the user freedom and control of the coins that they own.

Somehow I understand your idea, rather than being constrained by the principles of the monetary system from government, Bitcoin allows users to convert currency from the government system into a free and unregulated currency but in the end, the idea of becoming free turned bitcoin into a profitable investment. Bitcoin's origins and ideas of freedom have been overshadowed by huge profits, today we only look to bitcoin in search of a rich opportunity, the world without principles is the resource to make the value of bitcoin limitless.

Bitcoin helps me provide the money to finish my thesis in college, helps me in buying my daily way back middle 2018 when I'm looking for a job in the city and I dont want to beg for my mom for a money, and now in my situation bitcoin helps me to save a lot money. I become on that part, but I also find bitcoin a reason to become rich just take it seriously. Tax from my basic salary as well as tax of my overtime goes to government. I just think that I can help my country thru that so I am not making it a big deal anymore.

I believe that we all have a different perspective on how we treat or see Bitcoin. Some believe that Bitcoin will be accepted worldwide as a currency, and some believe that Bitcoin is just something that we can just buy and sell to gain money.

For me, Bitcoin is something that we need to end now the uncontrollable increase of the inflation rate. That is why I see Bitcoin as an asset that I need to accumulate so when that time comes that the world adopts already, I will be ready.

I think the idea of "money doesn't buy happiness" was coined by someone who never felt the real poor life. In poor life you have so many things that could go wrong that I rather be rich and cry in my lambo then be poor and feel scared about being left homeless. I mean sure there are reasons to be upset in rich life as well, Steve Jobs was one of the richest people in the world when he died and he got cancer and even though he could have tried to fight it off, he knew that there was nearly no chance he would win and his latest days would be all sick and in bed, so he just gave up.

There are times like that when you are super rich, but you could also be Warren Buffet drinking coke and eating French fries everyday and live to 90 and not have that much problem in your life as well. No very poor person has a chance to be happy for long term, rich people at least have that possibility.
