3721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice sites with highest speed on: December 06, 2016, 07:39:31 PM
FastDice is the fastest one out there, I think. It also features a 1000 Satoshis faucet which is among the biggest offered. Upon the release there was no limit when betting, now there is a minimum bet amount for each speed you chose to combat the spam.
3722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: December 06, 2016, 07:34:03 PM
Depositing real money in gambling  Grin

You can deposit money but always have a limit! Gambling can be fun even with the smallest amounts you can play with. On Bitcoin casinos you usually have a faucet - when you don't want to spend money, use the faucet and play for free! When you have money to spend, deposit but only a very small part of it. Always be in control!
3723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I would like to understand something basic about TREZOR on: December 06, 2016, 07:27:47 PM
You do not even need to buy a hard wallet like Trezor. Using cold wallets is the best option, in my opinion. Use an online wallet like Coinbase or Blockchain for small transactions, receiving money or daily spending and when you want to save or put some money away, print out a cold wallet and send your sum to it.
3724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is being told to people in High Schools about Bitcoin on: December 06, 2016, 07:22:54 PM
Well, this hasn't been studied or researched by many. It's just things the teachers have heard over the news or the Internet. Bitcoin has a bad reputation and when you're new you don't even know what and who to trust anymore. I've been in this situation a few years ago but now I trust it too. It's all about the lying media.
3725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM on: December 06, 2016, 07:16:13 PM
Is there a map where I can see all the different btm locations?

CoinDesk and CoinATMRadar are the best known websites on which you can look for ATMs. If you want to withdraw money, that can help but also search on Google for ATMs in your local language. I found hundreds in my country (but I can only deposit money on them). I hope I helped.
3726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 21 millions bitcoin in question on: December 06, 2016, 07:13:35 PM
Ok for the miners as they can mine more bitcoin but not for holders, the added bitcoin to mine will push the price to lower so if you buy it at $750 to one bitcoin you'll only get $400 for one bitcoin and of course how many millions people will get disappointed seeing the price drop..

The lost Bitcoin does not disappear. Never. It just sits there, in the wallets, and nothing else happens. This is one of the disadvantages of Bitcoin: the fact that the money is limited. Many, many people will lose their wallets on a long term, so a lot of Bitcoin will be lost. Nobody needs to even want this - it can happen to any of us. For example, a thief can steal the book or notebook or computer or whatever you got in which you stored your passwords but your Wallet ID. In the next second, your wallet can be gone forever. So that amount you had in your wallet is vanished now. This obviously can push the price down, but only if a big amount of Bitcoin will be lost resulting in less Bitcoins available.
3727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Casualty List on: December 06, 2016, 07:05:28 PM
I do not know why but I have a feeling that most of these "hacked" or "taken down" websites (except for the ones taken by governments) were simple scams, just like Bitfinex. I mean come on, how hard is it to just take away your money with you and pretend that your website had been hacked? Without any proofs (just ANY proof) showing us that it wasn't them, I can't trust some words like "we reward any info we get about the hacker" - how are we even supposed to get info about the hacker(s) if we have absolutely 0 details? Just an opinion.
3728  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who controls the Bitcoins? on: December 06, 2016, 07:00:07 PM
If you want a country, it's the one with the highest amounts in Bitcoin (probably China). If you want a person or a group, there's none. The mining is controlled by China mostly, and the huge population helps it stay on the first position all the time.
3729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Economic Nobel prize for Satoshi Nakamoto on: December 06, 2016, 06:56:26 PM
We have to know who Satoshi is first before we can give him an award Grin

Before Nakamoto could get his award, he might just found dead first lol. Nakamoto is truly a genius geeks in terms of technology but he remain silence until now so probably we could easily assumed that he does not care for that award lol(he cares more of his life)

I don't think anybody knows who is the creator of Bitcoin. Probably not even his family. Every business has allies and enemies. In this case, this person/group's enemies are most governments around the world, except if it was created by a government itself and they disguised it into this "Satoshi Nakamoto". Imagine the risks you would have to assume as soon as you would prove that you are the owner of Bitcoin.
3730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Greg Maxwell is now the owner of Bitcoin. That's all. on: December 06, 2016, 06:52:18 PM
As I said recently, the owner of Bitcoin doesn't have to be Satoshi Nakamoto - that's just a made up name (you can choose just any two names you want and create something while you're going to be anonymous all the time). I was sure about that and still am, I mean.. The guy who created Bitcoin seems to be hiding away from the public.
3731  Economy / Economics / Re: Why are Venezuelan not switching to Bitcoin? on: December 06, 2016, 06:46:09 PM
How do you want them to be using Bitcoin when they cannot afford ANYTHING? Do you think they can afford a PC, a smartphone and... Most importantly, electricity bills?? They can't, so they cannot use any currency like Bitcoin (except for those that are rich out there).

3734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is the best future currency? on: December 05, 2016, 03:29:36 PM
because bitcoin is a currency of the most recent and has a very simple system. use bitcoin gives us easy access, with these conditions, bitcoin can be used as a single currency in the future.

A single currency means globalization though, do you accept this idea? I do not accept it. Globalization is exactly what I don't like. What I would like Bitcoin to be is a secondary currency, I mean just like PayPal or credit cards like MasterCard and Visa. Bitcoin can be just another one and can be accepted in most stores, but then the money the owners are going to make will be without government's knowledge. This is why they want to ban Bitcoin.
3735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Longest bitcoin transaction that you have waited? on: December 04, 2016, 01:48:38 PM
I'm sending mine to cold wallets with 10k satoshis transaction fee. The transaction usually gets confirmed in 12-24 hours, and that's the longest time I had to wait until it got confirmed. For normal transactions, the longest confirmation was in less than one hour. Be careful about the transaction fee you're going to input.
3736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do Bitcoins really circulate into users? on: December 04, 2016, 10:41:32 AM
Bitcoins do not circulate through governments or something similar. They do not work like real money, you got freedom here. They can be sent from a person to another without the government's knowledge, without anybody else knowing about it. You're being your own bank. Except transaction fees, there are no taxes.

3738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: December 03, 2016, 10:48:19 PM
I just read that Russia just made bitcoin legal. Probably because they could not stop it and so that they can tax it. Ha ha. This is a good trend. Wonder what they are going to do now about the trend to anonymous.

Thanks for the info, I didn't know about that! Yes, it might become popular, but there's no way they can tax it unless they know what wallet we've got. For example they would never find out how much I earned if I sent my income to a different wallet than the one I told them. I think it's just a test to check out what people would do with it, and then the same idea but made by the governments will be implemented into different countries.
3739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: December 03, 2016, 10:45:05 PM
If every nation adopts cashless system, bitcoin will surely be the currency of the future days. The reason is that no other digital currency has got acceptance and popularity similar to bitcoin though lots of digital currencies have got existed.
yes that is a fact that there is not any other currency which be compare to bitcoin, hope that bitcoin will be the future of money, as people are continuously accepting bitcoin and bitcoin is becoming more and more popular.

The idea of Bitcoin will be recreated, but Bitcoin will never become the currency for any country. These Elites are seeking to control everything they can. Bitcoin is like their enemy - they would be dead without having counted each step we make and as much information as they can.
3740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I use Bitcoin ??? on: December 03, 2016, 10:42:57 PM
I use bitcoin mostly to trade altcoins. This is good for the price of bitcoin too I think.

Bitcoin can't be created except the mining method. Trading can help because you've got to make lots of transactions and that makes Bitcoin look like it is demanding. On the other hand, gathering more Bitcoin users would help way more than trading transactions are.
