Osim ovog popusta, uvode i Dollar-cost averaging (DCA) značajku u Trezor Suite.
Više informacija možete naći na https://blog.trezor.io/save-bitcoin-with-dca-in-trezor-suite-6ce8f6a2ce75.
3742  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / 15% discount on Trezor hardware wallets on: October 25, 2022, 03:46:02 PM
New 15% discount!

Trezor currently has a new promotion, and to celebrate it, they are offering a 15% discount on Trezor One and Model T hardware wallets. This promotion will be valid until 8 November 2022.
So, if you are in the EU, the Trezor One will now cost you around €70, while Trezor T is approximately €220.

The reason for this is the introduction of Dollar-cost averaging (DCA) in Trezor Suite. Their term for it is Bitcoin savings account. Most already know that using the DCA investment strategy means buying a fixed USD/EUR amount of an asset at a fixed time. That can be once a week/month/year, etc.

3743  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nitrobetting.eu scamming me for 25 mbtc on: October 25, 2022, 10:40:49 AM
<Snip>
It gets tiring having to justify yourself over and over again. I am aware of the connection between the two sites. I didn't say the player did anything wrong. I am saying that's the reason and explanation the casino used for closing his account. Since the casino's reputation is well known here, you know what to expect from them.
3744  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Duelbits] SCAM Withdrawal Issue on: October 25, 2022, 10:19:36 AM
It irritates me when I see people suggest a campaign manager to contact when a scam accusation has raised for a company. Hhampuz is just the campaign manager and he has no obligation to involve in such cases.
Hhampuz doesn't and shouldn't get involved in solving a case like this because if he isn't working for the casino and its security/integrity department (whatever you want to call it), he can't possible know why a player's withdrawal is delayed. But, he might be able to directly contact people in more senior positions in the casino. Like those he negotiated with when it was arranged that he would manage their campaign, or those responsible for filling the campaign wallet with coins. And that's the people who might help and provide some more clarity.

It may look like using them as mixer although I don't know how risky those bets were. Casino's are not meant to be a mixer.
All casinos or exchanges could be considered mixers in a way. I am not going to go into the privacy aspect of that mixing though. You deposit one UTXO at an exchange, make a trade or two, and withdraw something else.

Casinos have rollover requirements. For example, If you deposit a certain amount of crypto, you need to wager them at least once and maybe respecting a minimum odds requirement before you can withdraw again. If those requirements are met, the player has fulfilled the conditions to be able to withdraw his money. If a casino doesn't like that, they should change their rules and require a 5x or 10x rollover requirement and see what that will do to their business.
3745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Mining Will Be Banned Due to Fears of Climate Change? on: October 25, 2022, 09:53:29 AM
I'm sure I read in the last few months that some UK politicians were talking about making the UK attractive for cryptocurrency businesses, which is in stark contrast to the horrendous bitcoin related bills and laws currently making their way through the US government.
What is your opinion about the outcome of those bills and proposals, setting aside personal wishes and subjectivity? Do you see a significant number of strong opponents in the ranks of the Democrats or Republicans, or is it more or less all the same? Are there more than just a handful of strong spines that won't bend with the necessary amount of pressure or incentive?
3746  Local / Off-topic (Hrvatski) / Re: Kutak za kulturni trenutak on: October 25, 2022, 09:33:13 AM

Gledam trenutno i dvije serije:
-For All Mankind: alternativna povijest, rusi su sletjeli prvi na mjesec tako da se svemirska utrka nastavlja i dalje.
Ova serija mi je preporučena za pogledati. Ona i Stranger Things.

Meni odlicno jer sam i inace fan alternativne povijesti...
U kojem smislu i do kojih granica? Jesi li pratio išta od predavanja Semira Osmanagića? Piramide i njihova svrha, nastavak prvih civilizacija, monoliti, duhovnost, namjere elita...
3747  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: October 25, 2022, 09:07:14 AM

I even remember some Russian mini-Trezor called Buratino or something like that  Cheesy
Aren't that those they call mini Trezors? Those weird rectangle-looking small devices that look like they are made from rubber? Unless my memory is fading, it was discovered that those Russian Trezors had bad number generators, it was possible to easily guess the seed phrases, or they used seeds that were already known to the developers. Maybe I am thinking of some other Russian fakes and their name is not Buratino.
3749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Want KYC at Crypto Casinos During Registration? on: October 25, 2022, 08:22:34 AM
Such crazy claims should be ruled out and the casino should be penalized for requesting such documents. If a person has passed the KYC, then this means "the end of the test" and no more additional requirements (otherwise, if he provides documents for the origin of the funds, will they ask for a certificate stating that he is a diligent Christian?).
Origin of funds is something that is required in the traditional financial systems as well. I have never traded stocks, but I am pretty sure they need to know where your money comes from before it accesses those markets as well. When you buy a house or a company, or you want to put some money in your bank account, you can't just show up with a bag full with money. Everyone will want to know where all that came from and has it been obtained in illegal ways.
3750  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: October 24, 2022, 04:41:26 PM

@strongkored has left our campaign for his own personal reasons so I would like to thank him here for the time spent with us. That means that campaign is now open and we will accept at least one new participants, maybe more, depending on qoulity of applications.

3751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Mining Will Be Banned Due to Fears of Climate Change? on: October 24, 2022, 04:27:11 PM
Who's to say it doesn't go the other way? The US bans mining, and some European countries see an opportunity. They incentivize miners to move there on the provision that they set up near new and developing renewable projects, subsidizing the development of such projects by buying excess energy which would otherwise be wasted during periods of low demand, acting as a demand response system, and paying taxes on the bitcoin they mine.
I would love to see it. Maybe I am just too big of a pessimist but I don't see the EU going against Big Brother when it comes to big major decisions. That is, if we get to a point that bitcoin mining becomes such a huge affair for some reason. I have to mention the situation we have now with what is going on in Ukraine. If for some reason the US was pro-war and in support of Putin, I don't think the EU would be supplying Ukraine with weapons, munition, military vehicles, etc. to go against American interests.
3752  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: New and improved Trezor website on: October 24, 2022, 04:15:20 PM
Is it that popular to make a DIY Trezor?
I highly doubt that enough people actually use this data to rebuild open-source hardware wallets from scratch, to skew the numbers significantly in any way.

But I'd love to be proven wrong! Wink
I would be surprised if more than 10.000 people have purchased a DIY Trezor. But it would really be cool if we could get its developer to post some real stats.

On this "blog post [refer to its 3rd paragraph]" they mentioned it's "due to hardware limitations" and in the following tweets, they're all pointing at having a smaller memory [#1 and #2].
I guess Cardano and other similarly complex apps won't ever be supported on the old Trezor One unless developers find a way to decrease the codebase to an acceptable level, but without negatively affecting security. It's already been a few months since support was added back in May. It's either not that important and they are focusing on other things, or they just can't do it.
3753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Want KYC at Crypto Casinos During Registration? on: October 24, 2022, 04:02:18 PM
another thing is that KYC is created to prevent money laundering, but can't a thief create a casino and launder money? so why can the casino creator be anonymous and the customer can't be anonymous? This is a question I've been asking myself for a long time and honestly I can't understand it
Physical casinos have and probably still are used for exactly this purpose. They are a great front to put dirty money into circulation and launder them. I watched documentaries years ago where old crime bosses explained how they created partnerships with casino owners in Montenegro to launder their through their establishments. I am sure that while we speak, someone somewhere is doing it right now. With the popularity of online casinos, it's even easier.
3754  Other / Meta / Re: Will mods/admins approve of this? on: October 24, 2022, 11:03:46 AM
Interesting technique. I am curious, is it possible to find out what someone's social media UID is without using a third-party service such as that findidfb website that you mentioned? Facebook and Twitter doesn't give people the option to find that?

Seems like quite a complicated process for several reasons:

1. The admins aren't going to make posting your social media UID when you apply for such campaigns mandatory.
2. Most bounty managers aren't going to do it either. Nor do they care abut stuff like that when the goal is just the quantity of posts/tweets.

So those hunting for ban evaders will have to do all this manually when they have a suspicion. Alternatively, maybe guys like LoyceV or DdmrDdmr can automate the process somehow and find a way to query that site for UIDs, connect the numbers with known social media account names and Bitcointalk accounts, and then dump all that data somewhere.
3755  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nitrobetting.eu scamming me for 25 mbtc on: October 24, 2022, 10:35:07 AM
You should read correctly, he said he had an account with nitrogen sports in the past, and now this problem is with nitrobetting, the sister company.
I read it correctly, and I am aware of what was said. Did you read my post correctly? I am not justifying the casino's actions, just stating the facts. OP has several accounts on Nitro....... attach nouns such as "betting" or "sports" instead of the dots.

And I was replying to actmyname and his comment. Based on what he said, I thought he was using a different angle to this issue. It felt like he was trying to question whether OP was banned because he resides in a country where online gambling and/or crypto is illegal. I don't think that's the problem because the casino was talking about multiple accounts.

Nitrogen is just a scam site and should not be trusted.
Correct.
3756  Other / Archival / Re: [LIST] Campaign Management Services on: October 24, 2022, 10:19:02 AM
Another that provides management services is Royse777, who recently bumped his/her thread, although I think it will be a little more difficult for her than for the rest due to her trust page.
That's surprising. I didn't know that he still does that. The last thing I saw or heard of Royse777 was that he asked those who had him in their trust lists to remove him. Seems a bit unorthodox to me to ask that and then resume campaign management services.

By the way, why are you referring to Royse777 as "her"? Grin
Did he, I mean she, identify as female somewhere?
3757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Mining Will Be Banned Due to Fears of Climate Change? on: October 24, 2022, 09:55:19 AM
Why?, This is because it's not gonna be easy to have a global ban on Bitcoin mining happen at same time. reason, this country may find reason to ban Bitcoin mining while the other country may see reason to adopt or see an opportunity to continue mining. Taking for instance,  China banned mining while US took the opportunity and their mining firms.
Such measures don't happen over night, you are right. They are spread out over time and take years if done systematically. Let's say that's the direction the US takes, who could follow them? The UK is the obvious culprit. Maybe they get France on board and Germany. The last three are not that important in mining circles, but they are in global politics. Once you do that, politicians do what they do best. Intimidation, demands, blackmail...

Oh, you want a loan to fix your economy? Well that is going to be difficult when bitcoin is being mined in your country. Maybe there is something you can do for us first...
3758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Mining Will Be Banned Due to Fears of Climate Change? on: October 24, 2022, 09:37:31 AM
Lemme know when they successfully ban The Pirate Bay.  you know the one,   that just keeps coming back.
It's not really the same thing, and it's not about banning your ability to send Bitcoin from one address to the other or from one person/country/continent to a different one. When thepiratebay.org goes down and if all their mirror sites go down, they are gone until someone brings them online again. You can't bring down Bitcoin in that way because there is no reliance on a single site/service/wallet etc. The way to take out Bitcoin is by attacking the technology and infrastructure that secures it, confirms your transactions, and generates new blocks. They might not go to those lengths, but it's the best way to achieve your sinister plans.

A coordinated confiscation of hundreds of thousands of ASICs is not something you can easily replace just like that. They are not jars of water that you simply fill up and put in place of the old ones. Even that would take some time. Those ASICs need to be manufactured first to replace the old ones.

It was Malaysia, but the equipment was seized due to being run on stolen electricity, not because they banned mining
Still, they wanted to send a strong signal by doing that. Seized goods can be auctioned off unless it's something illegal like drugs. The Malaysian government used the steamrollers as symbolism of what they think of the industry. Personal opinion, of course.
3759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Want KYC at Crypto Casinos During Registration? on: October 24, 2022, 09:10:22 AM
I'm already used to providing my personal details and documents on several platforms but only on a considered legit platform.
I shouldn't be preaching to others about what to do or not to do, but I would seriously re-think my stance of throwing around my identifiable data all over the place. Everything can seem legit until one day it suddenly isn't. Ledger was legit until the data of millions of users was hacked and publicly leaked. Celsius was legit and now every single user who had an account with them had their names posted publicly. Chances are high that those platforms (exchanges or casinos) you use have also experienced their own hacks and leaks at some point in the past or will experience them in the future. The less information about you is out there, the lower the chances that malicious actors can get to it.

you see i'm not particular no records my email becasue i never used this product service or that indicator
for that i want refund money back to me
So why did you buy it if you had no intentions to use it? If something wasn't to your satisfaction at the moment of purchase, why didn't you say anything back then? Refunds are not provided for services not used. Sorry but you sound like you are 11 years old, and I am not going to continue discussing this manner with a person who wants a refund for something he bought 2 years ago and only now complains that there is a problem with it.
