3741  Economy / Reputation / Re: Support for Tags (Negative Trust) - Cheaters Bounty on: November 01, 2021, 06:40:20 PM
Maybe No and too early for that. i prefer to ask by creating a thread like this. at least DT Members or Other Members can review these Allegations, whether they deserve to be flagged or otherwise.
Since I have added you in my list with good faith of course, you need to wait if I become DT1. You need to wait until my cycle come when theymos runs his monthly corn job. Once you become a DT you will not need to ask others to tag. They will find your tags and will add theirs too.

This sounds funny, After I posted this information. someone then contacted me via telegram message and seemed to want to flag cheaters list.
in fact, that person was one of them (Cheaters Bounty)  Smiley
Some wanted to play game with you 🤣

Then again, it's maybe just a case of zero fucks given as they are not paid enough to work hard, or they know that if they eliminate bounty cheaters client might be unsatisfied with the numbers.
Why bother taking a project if you are not 100% committed? Don't they care about their reputation?
3742  Economy / Reputation / Re: Support for Tags (Negative Trust) - Cheaters Bounty on: November 01, 2021, 03:01:10 PM
Also, Thanks @lovesmayfamilis has tagging them  Smiley
Tagged all and also added you in my trust list after looking at your history. I know it's very early but let's see how you do. Let me know if I missed anyone.

Quote
but unfortunately it doesn't show up.
Because you are not in DT. When anyone from DT1 will have you in their trust list that will allow you to be in DT.
3743  Economy / Reputation / Re: Support for Tags (Negative Trust) - Cheaters Bounty on: November 01, 2021, 02:24:10 PM
Additional proof that all these accounts belong to the same person may be their registration date. Just look at what day all these accounts are registered - October 22, 2017. Only a few of them have a different date. And the transfer of tokens within one hour, for such several accounts, also suggests that such coincidences do not happen
Noted. I can tag them all. Good work Awaklara.

Quote
And no, your link doesn't match what Awaklara is asking about.
Now it's obvious I am old. May be too old LOL
I read Support for Flags 🤣

So, do you think this thread is better to delete or what?
Keep it man! My whole idea was wrong when I read Flags but it was tags LOL

3745  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Coinmarketcap hack leaked 3.1 million emails! on: November 01, 2021, 02:09:50 PM
Consider that email address you used for CMC account is now compromised, don't be surprised if you start to receive some spam and scam emails, so you should not use it anymore.
This gives me the answer of an old email I used, I received an email from a startup to look into their project and become first-hand investor LOL
PS: I did not know CMC is owned by Binance. CZ is doing everything to monopoly the crypto niche. Not good.

Another day, another centralized service leaking user information across the internet. Owned by Binance, have no idea how their database was accessed, and unable to confirm or deny if other information was also accessed. Really fills you with confidence! Roll Eyes
What else is owned by CZ? Get ready to get that hacked too 😉

Fun aside, it's the risk we always take when we deal with a centralized database.
3746  Other / Meta / Re: LETTER OF APPEAL FOR PERMANENT BAN LIFT on: November 01, 2021, 01:59:38 PM
If this is what caused your ban, you might be able to get unbanned.
From observation I have seen it's hard for lower rank members to unban their account. It looks OP did not have correct knowledge about using quote which eventually considered as plagiarism.

something tells me that the problem is not in them at all.
May be it's not about plagiarism at all. A mod can confirm it.

Curious to know about this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1926895.msg54108034#msg54108034
PS: It was just a random visit in off-topic section and found Jet Cash had a tricky response in a topic. I followed him and the just spotted the user's post history until I found his feedback history that took me to the above link.
3747  Economy / Reputation / Re: Support for Tags (Negative Trust) - Cheaters Bounty on: November 01, 2021, 01:47:00 PM
If you don't mind, I need support for Tags (Negative Trust) on Account Connected below.
There is already a topic about supporting or opposing tags. I will try to find it a post here for you.

I see the basis of your investigation is only addresses. This could be false positive too. You need more parameters to be sure that the accounts are connected. I can send coins to user x and another user on the forum can send coins to the same user. We three are three different users but according to your investigation we will become same person. I hope this makes sense.

You have the dedicated thread:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5153445.0
3748  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Curious Question on: November 01, 2021, 01:40:41 PM
That's very easy if the wallet is not multi-signature. You only need to add a prefix to specify the address type.
Not a coder and not good at algorithm too. I think the Electrum developers do not have a method to execute p2wsh type yet. So with this prefix the software is crashing. It does not disappear but ask you to report. So they already have the event handler in place.
3749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: November 01, 2021, 01:37:01 PM
there, i fixed it for ya 😂🤣
What! I saw it was 21st but wrote 18th. I am getting old. 🤣
Well a correct score yesterday put me in 19th now. I am sure today I will get kicked out from top 20 LOL

I am still looking for tips to have a winning round. Come on guys, be generous 😉
A good round will bring me in top 10 and then another good round for top 5. I am happy.

Man Utd are an actual meme atm & long may it continue.
I gave up trusting utd two years ago.
3750  Economy / Gambling / Re: krypto-oddsen.com on: November 01, 2021, 01:21:06 PM
Wrong. These guys are actually listening to our feedback and improving their site periodically though they need to stick to one thread as you mentioned above.
I did not notice it. I saw banners in the entire homepage and judged from it. It looked like all affiliate links on the site.
OP you need a better homepage. Statistically you have less than 10 seconds to convert a visitor into a reader who will be interested in your contents.

Btcgosu is better in comparison, but that doesn't imply that this site is underperforming. They aren't just displaying banners. Fully detailed reviews with pros and cons are available for various sites.
The example of Btcgosu were given to show the efforts. I am sure with enthusiasm this site could be a better one too.

your ANN thread is bad, you need to be more creative when creating an ANN thread
I would suggest buying a copper membership and post image to look the ann visual good.
3751  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Buying crypto in USA or canada on: November 01, 2021, 01:07:06 PM
snip
You are really helpful and should be getting more merit than you have now. I just dumped all I had to this topic.
There are a lot to read and it's a new world for me. I never cared about fees and things.

If you're looking to trade 1:1, good luck.  I'd always recommend trying the Currency Exchange section on the forum, because there are always members looking to trade bitcoin for cash, though you have to know who you're dealing with and usually you never really do.  But 1:1 trades are definitely possible there.
Lately I am giving a thought about it. Let me see what my friend decides. Trading in the currency exchange section is a good idea.
3752  Economy / Gambling / Re: krypto-oddsen.com on: October 31, 2021, 06:51:00 PM
Trying to get attention about the topic you created.
At this point this will be considered as spamming. The update you made can be posted here as this seems your ANN thread.

In gambling board the rule is One thread per site ONLY

Goodluck, It is good that you shared your webste here as we can also share some opinions and experiences about the your listed sportsbook casinos.
It's just another affiliate site. I think BTCGOSO is doing better job and putting more efforts than having some banners in the home page.
3753  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Buying crypto in USA or canada on: October 31, 2021, 02:26:00 PM
Thanks brother.
Did you see the margin? 15% and above for USDT. Fees will eat up a large volume to be honest. I was looking at something where trade will be 1:1
3754  Economy / Reputation / Re: 1xBit campaign is starting again. on: October 31, 2021, 01:42:58 PM
I agree that's not perfect use of trust system. We simply don't have alternative effective ways how to deal with users who promote scams.
Scams are not moderated by the forum and unfortunately even if it's clear scams like Yobit and 1xBit. It's sad that our hands are not free.
On the other hand I do not think they care about the tag so sending out red tags do not do any change. Perhaps other campaign could count it but we always have choice of leaving what type of feedback we want to send.

I'm not even sure if their "honest" review campaign is still running.
It was a good joke after all.
3755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 31, 2021, 01:30:44 PM
the real surprise is
I am positioning 18th in the table 🤣
Seriously please can anyone give me some tips to find a winning round. I am not doing anything right at the moment.

No one expected City will lose against Palace. Good for Liverpool and Chelsea. Liverpool could use this chance to make some good distance but boys were not up to the standard. We still need a lot of work to do. I was brave yesterday picked two draws but failed massively. No draw today.

By the way, I am not much hopeful with Utd. They had a good match yesterday but last few weeks they performed real bad.
3756  Economy / Exchanges / Buying crypto in USA or canada on: October 31, 2021, 01:16:57 PM
I have a friend in US wants to buy crypto regularly. He is looking at Bitcoin, and other established coins. Which exchange has the lowest fee and give 1:1 rate. Or please give me a good idea how to buy bitcoin easily in US without giving too much information.
3757  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best practices for Bitcointalk escrow providers on: October 31, 2021, 01:10:17 PM
Let me rephrase the question. Let's assume a honest seller wants to sell collectible coins worth $50,000. Would a honest seller send them directly to the buyer after escrow gets paid, knowing he may not receive his payment if the buyer (who's relatively new to the forum) claims to have received an empty box?
No.
The best practice considering the amount risked in the trade. Escrow receive the coins from the buyer, escrow receive the delivery from seller, escrow post the delivery to buyer, escrow release the funds to the seller. Using this process escrow knows that the item was delivered to the person.

I think this flow should be followed even if the item worth $50 or less. Without the touch escrow do not know if the item truly delivered to the buyer.
3758  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Curious Question on: October 31, 2021, 12:45:38 PM
It seems that you can't have a non-HD multi-sig wallet in Electrum. In order to create/import one, you're forced to go on Multi-signature wallet which will then either ask you to enter a seed phrase or a master key.
I usually go with seed phrase for HD wallet. Never gave a try until yesterday with a single private key. Now it sounds like a lot of work to do with Electrum for a single private key.

Assuming the wallet is 2 of 2, two master private keys are needed.
Assuming the wallet is 2 of 3, two master private keys and one master public key are needed.
Consider x of y. You basically need x master private keys to send any coin from the wallet.
3759  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Curious Question on: October 30, 2021, 08:45:18 PM
Generally, the seed phrase isn't necessary at all. It's just an easy way to recover your funds. Once you sign a transaction, which is how you spend bitcoins, you don't use any seed phrases, but only the private key(s).
Electrum is crashing.
When I am trying with p2wsh: in Import Bitcoin addresses or private keys in the next screen I see the error. It is asking me to Send Bug Report but when I am trying without p2wsh: then I get a legacy address which is obviously not the multi-sig address I have.

I was trying in a multi-sig segwit wallet.

So how would I give the input that I need to recover p2wsh address?

What a horrible night for people who did bet on.
Good for me that I am not gambling from the last 6 or more months. If I was gambling than I would had a nightmare in this evening LOL

The only good thing out from this is Arsenal win at Leicester which can be considered somewhat of a surprise
Frustrating scenario: You had a pick of 0 - 2 win for Arsenal but half an hour before the kick off you thought the match could be a draw and you change it to 1 - 1. That's what I did 🤣

I was too optimistic with Liverpool. It was very early I have to admit LOL
Seriously, we had a good chance to get those 3 points but we messed up.
