topic time 2014 and he is talking about 700$ what about 2022 whats the price on this time ?!?!
As I think of it, Bitcoin will reach atleast $18-,000 $20,000 as its stable rate for the market cap of that year, but still the possibilities of this thing to happen will depend on the economy of each country that uses this currency.

So what is your opinion on this matter from an economic point of view, with crypto in mind?
For the question, I think you should also learn a bit from Russian section even if you don't have any shits to give about the Europians. With that knowledge you can also help this forum from pointing out those little bastards who keeps on messing this forum all the time and abusing the current system. I find it a difficult task for me as for their language is quite hard to understand unlike the Japanese language which I'm also learning it right now. As far as I know, the Japanese has their own forum, if we we're able to join that I think we can also find an idea about the markets that they do in the current time.
3763  Other / Meta / Re: Can someone please explain to me why some users become legendary rank ? on: May 19, 2018, 10:30:09 PM

It seems like becoming a full member is too difficult for me.
Yes, quite indeed, and it will be more harder sooner if you continue posting like this.

Quote from: vuhoang1giang
I have heard about merit system, but it is hard to get 1 merit point.
You already knew what's the purpose of the current system right? Then how can you even post such thing as this? You already knew what to do but still you've been pushing your luck in a way that you also knew that you can't even gather anything.

Quote from: vuhoang1giang
Being a full member is very important,
It's not, we just aim to be on the higher ranks just because of signature campaigns. But how about putting that aside, do you think rank will be that important?

Quote from: vuhoang1giang
I understand that my posts will get more attention if I have a good rank.
NO. You can even get more attention, even if you're just a newbie. Referring to this man . He was already a FULL MEMBER now, but he was just a Member the last time when the System first begun, he contributed so much as he could and look where he is now, his can now easily wait for his post count and move into the next rank so easy like that.

Quote from: vuhoang1giang
Please show me how to get merit?
It really doesn't matter how you post as long as everyone can see it as contributive then you might be able to gain some Merit/s.

P.S. The content of your post is quite OFF TOPIC to the SUBJECT of this thread.
You're finding a solution to gain Merits but in the SUBJECT you've been asking somebody to explain why are some users become legendary?.

But still before I end my reply to yours let me answer your question into the SUBJECT.
Quote
why are some users become legendary?
Apparently, before the system was introduce the ranking are just important just because of the difference between the rates of the campaigns manage by some managers, and it's almost also alike even now but the only thing different now is that some campaigns as of now requires the users to have even 1 Merit to their accounts before they can apply to the said campaign.
3764  Other / Meta / Re: Why is it complicated to get merits on: May 14, 2018, 06:15:16 PM
Quote from: ibininja
Any consideration of lowering the merits required for the rank up requirements?

This wouldn't be possible as for the ranks are also being abused by some users. They're using their accounts just for earning in bounties, and within that case the number of spammers would definitely increase if we lowered the Merit Requirement of some RANKS.

Quote from: ibininja
or any tips you good guys have on how or where do I have to be to get them merits?
JUST BE PATIENT. That's what I can only contribute for your question. Don't waste your time on finding any other ways because as you can see on zentdex's post the Merit Distribution as of now is decreasing as time goes by. And only our posts will always be the answer on our needs in Merits.
3765  Other / Meta / Re: Send merit to friend, is that allowed?? on: May 14, 2018, 06:06:32 PM
There is no single rules which stated we can not send merits to our friends. We can send merit to whoever has good posts/threads, even our friends. The key is the good posts/threads, if you just giving it out of a friendship, then i believe it will be categorized as a merit abuse, especially when you give a lot of it.

But as we can see, it's rarely to find this accounts that isn't abusing the system. Some are being categorized as alts and these were being proven by some users. Friendship doesn't comply on forbidding the rules of this forum.

I'm not sure why a regular user needs more than one account, perhaps one for discussion and one for marketplace?
If that's the case it wouldn't have a problem but in reality we see that most alts are just being used for bounties, they don't give any shits on having discussion related to coins and tokens or whatsoever they may come up with.

Quote from: Thirdspace
someone with multi projects might need one for each project, but other than that?
I don't agree with this, YAHOO is an example with multi projects but didn't have to use alts for either one of it. This isn't an excuse just to have alts, but more or less we've been seeing some high ranking people that creates alts just to feel the essence of the new system.
3767  Other / Meta / Re: I can't keep track of the discussions I'm interested on: May 14, 2018, 10:51:03 AM
You can do my suggestions below:

1.) Have the TITLE of the TOPIC written on a certain paper/notepad
2.) Save it on your BOOKMARK PAGE.
3.) You can always use the SEARCH PANEL of the FORUM  for some keywords of your favorite topics Smiley (If you can't do the 2 options stated above)

Why is this even a conversation?
It wasn't.

Quote from: Parodium
Who cares what people do with their merits, as long as they're not selling it or farming it, then they should be free to do with their merit as they wish.
Everybody cares about the distribution of MERITS except shitposters and endless number of spammers.

Quote from: Parodium
Nobody is being paid to search for high-quality posts, if they want to send their 50 merits to a friend, then so be it.
Yes, There isn't someone whose being paid just for being a MERIT SOURCE. They're just a HELPING INDIVIDUAL that wants to make this forum manageable and formal.

Quote from: Parodium
In my opinion the only things that should be blocked are selling, trading and farming merit, obviously these lines are blurred when it is between friends so it's best to just let them get on with it.
You already stated it. TRADING should be blocked and that also comes to the friendly situation. Why would you trade your MERITS to someone you didn't know and don't have any assurance that they will do the same as you did.

First one is free but then the points get exponentially greater for every account that is registered.
This is impossible, some people in other countries only depends on WIFI ACCESS, and we are certain sure that in one given access there are almost many users connected to it, so if this would be likely used by; for example, 5 users in a certain company, on a different departments has already gained access on it and registered here as new users then it wouldn't be fair if the first one will be free of charge while the others, without knowing that the said IP was already used by another individual will be paying just because it was already tagged as an evil IP just because someone already used it for the registration of an account.

Quote from: hilariousetc
I think people should be allowed to have multiple accounts

I really don't think so, as far as I know ,the rules stated that alts are highly prohibited. Even if this isn't an avoidable one for some people who only makes money here, I think it shouldn't be tolerated. We knew that some says that it is for their relatives but the truth is its just for themselves.
Well maybe some people might say that " why are those people with high ranks are allowed to make alts? " , I only have one answer to that, I think its for their own benefit whether they can manage to rank up with the current system or not.

Merit requirement needs to be added for this rank, and it should be a tad more than 1 merit.

If all of the Bounty Managers will grab this kind of rule, then it should be a great to decrease the number of spammers and bots that usually make this looks like a non moderated forum.  And if it will turn out to be like this, I smell more posts to be reported again when the time comes.

Quote from: hilariousetc
A huge proportion of these users probably have little to no interest or knowledge of bitcoin either other than they just heard from their classmate/cousin/granny that you can make good money here hence why they're often completely clueless.
I once happened to be like this, someone thought me about this good earning forum but after being rejected so many times before I ended up getting more knowledge before making money into the bounties. I think some users will still be like me as the way I did before even if its wrong but still this will help them to eager to gain knowledge and experience through rejection.
Now, I spend my time on reading on many threads and this is kindly like my hobby now, especially if there is such an issue that makes me want to join the debate ^_^, I do loved hearing those millions of opinions Smiley ( I think I should take a BS on Psychology with this kind of perception Smiley )

My request is to force newbies to obtain at least 1 Merit point to become junior member + you must be junior member or more to post in the bounties sub.
I hardly suggest to make it a 5 Merits Requirement.  Grin Grin Grin

Quote from: InvoKing
Some will say this will have a negative impact on new users,
Only the non quality posters will do this kind of whining as I think.

Quote from: InvoKing
no need for that merit point to become a junior member but force everyone to have at least 1 Merit to post in bounties.
Use the Merits as a requirement for Bounties? This should help but I think it still depends on the Bounty Managers.

Quote from: InvoKing
This will cut the amount of spam and will make bots useless.
I don't think so, even if they can't use bots on an early time, we can't be so sure that the bots will no longer be used if they actually have achieved the Merit Requirement.

Quote from: theymos
An idea I had in this vein was that upon registration you'd have to pick one of two paths:
 - "I want to discuss things"
= Banned from all money-making/spam-hotbed sections until Jr Member
 - "I want to make money"
= Banned from the more serious sections until Jr Member
= You have to pass a quiz before posting which tries to inform you about basic forum rules, how not to get banned, maybe some basic English knowledge, etc.

This is what we need Smiley A path for users. Now, with this, we can determine if this forum is just being used for money making or not.

my suggestion is to increase the payment of bitcoin on registering

There are no fees needed to pay just for registering a new account, unless the IP ADDRESS used by the user is found as a faulty address. And I don't think that it would be necessary to make a registration fee just to join here. As for this is an open forum for all bitcoin users, the campaigns are also being used to make things worst, its just the users fault that make this forum looks like non moderated one. And not all people can afford paying just to be a member here, try thinking also on the positive side, this will also concern the innocent peoples that wants to join here.

It might be true that every minute here results almost a hundred of registered new users, we can't be surely make a decision that those are just alts of some other bounty spammers here. We can just see through them with their posts lately and have them reported unto the MODS if they fail to comply to the rules,

it is one solution to the problem with the bots.

I don't think so bud, some captchas are being automatically solved, I don't know the reason for this but I already experienced this, so I think that bots can also evade this situation. For non bot users, this might actually be a hassle but I guess this won't take a long time to solve as long as the internet connection doesn't have any issues  Grin
I would like to suggest that an input of password before posting must be done (I think it would be possible if this won't be savable like the login process on some online games)

is it allowed to send merit to our friend or not?

As long as the posts is worth to be Merited then there wouldn't have any problem, on some LOCAL BOARDS this native are fond of sending Merits to each other, an example of this is the RUSSIAN's Section, some are abusive but there are still people that are giving them with an honest and fair decision of distributing Merits.

Quote from: orka39
the message contains people ask him to send merit each other.

This is an ordinary situation, some people use this tactic to make into the next rank.

Quote from: orka39
I know its hard to get merit but we can get it by making quality post.
Not all the time, in most cases some quality posts are being left behind. You might have a reply to a certain thread that has enough to be given Merit but unluckily this is being rephrased by some other people to make things more clearer than yours and that's why even if you're the first one to answer such problems the MERITS that should be given to you is being snatch away.
3775  Other / Meta / Re: 100 Days of Merit on: May 14, 2018, 05:44:39 AM
Based on the DATA mentioned above, it really seems that the quality posters are also on the verge of decreasing, and with this numbers the Merits being distributed are also not that high... We might say that the system is effectively working with the standards of posting but the thing is some are now quite fond of not having Merits anymore.
It's absolutely amusing that the DATA stated above, that on the 1st month of this system was also an evidence that the Merits are being abused on that time, and now the difference is quite big more than ever. We already witnessed that this abusers are now having their punishments, getting tagged and  being permanently banned from this forum.
I completely appreciate this STATS from the OP. I hope that some important statistics from this forum will show up lately.

I don't know why would this thread be opened up again, this thread was already been discussed and already had an answer on it. I've put the users that bumped this thread for no good reason into ignore. I really hate to see some of these lurking in here. It would be best if the OP will now LOCK this for some reason many users will also try to shitposts on this.
