Tough game for Bayern today away at Leverkusen, I know they’re very likely to be champions again but Bayern can’t really afford too many slip ups because Dortmund will fight to the end.

Germany has been an inspiration for the EPL to resume. They have made the right decision and now we have a date for the first matches. Aston Villa vs. Sheffield United and Manchester City vs. Arsenal (June 17 without fans in attendance.)Without a doubt, the return of football to the field will make us happy again. We must get used to a new normal until we have a cure for the coronavirus. https://edition.cnn.com/2020/05/28/football/english-premier-league-return-spt-intl/index.htmlSadly no fans in attendance is what we have to accept atm, it sucks but it’s better than no football at all. I’m not even sure if fans will be able to attend for much of next season. Some of the smaller clubs might go bust with the money from gate receipts.

Good signing for Chelsea to get Werner, he will definitely improve their attack. I think if Klopp really, really wanted him he would have got him. No disrespect to Chelsea but Liverpool are a bigger drawer atm especially to a German player with Klopp as head coach.
Regardless though, a great signing for Chelsea.

Great post OP, this forum is invaluable for somebody who is new to the scene in bitcoin. I’m not going to name people or do a long, detailed post but there are people here who are very willing to help. I’ve learnt so much here that you can’t just pick up by googling & reading articles.

Let’s wait & see, I think the price will rise but I’m not sure if it’ll be enough to see a new ATH by the end of the year. It’s probably just headline searching, these publications tend to like making outlandish statements.
New ATH - Very likely in 2021 In 2020 - Debatable!

Anyone here happy that Portugal Primeira League is back ? Because lately all I have heard about football was Bundesliga and my national sports TV was talk about them until I have learned almost everything about the teams haha.
Predictions : Guimares / Sporting / Both to score Benfica / Tondela / Over 3.5 Goals or Under 3.5 Yellows.
I’m not in to the Portuguese League myself but football is football, I’m just glad it’s all coming back. It’s been so dull without the football. Good luck with your picks my friend.

My predictions -
End of 2020 - 1BTC = $16,000 End of 2021 - 1BTC = $124,000
We’ll then enter a multi year bear market before the next having in 2024, maybe a crash to $35,000 as a bottom (2022).

This guy just doesn’t give up, does he? ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Sometimes in life you just have to admit defeat, take your ball & go home. It seems like we’re never going to be rid of this buffoon.

Mourinho is usually only a world beater if he has big transfers funds. He did however do it a different way earlier on in his career at Porto. Maybe he can return to those ways at Spurs and win them some trophies.

If my Aunt had balls she’d be my Uncle.
Bit of a stupid statement really, we all want bitcoin to gain mainstream adoption but silly statements like predicting unrealistic prices help nobody.

If all the leagues (almost all) restarted, especially the big four leagues, then there is no reason for UCL or EL to be cancelled. All games will be played out, with delay, or with different format. It's all about money as you said, and clubs ego themselves too.
The CL & EL will be completed, UEFA have already confirmed this. There is no chance of them cancelling them unless there is a massive second wave of the virus at a later date. There has been talk of the 1/4 final & the semi final being only one game instead of 2 legs.

tokeweed, totally off topic here but I think everybody has suffered to some extent with their mental health during this shitty time. If you need to chat my PM’s are always open.
Hopefully the return of top level football cheers us all up & brings us back some normality.

He’s a very talented player but he’d be an unfashionable target for Chelsea fans. I think he’s do well there, he’s a good player. Could be time for him to move to a bigger club now.

I don’t think Pogba is the right player to give Real a big boost. He’s a really good player but he’s not a trye Galactico. Real could do with a real world class, game changer, somebody like Mbappe.

Hopefully, I’m getting bored. I could really do with a HOPIUM injection, something to get the old boy excited.

I think you’re right buwaytress, yourself & LFC_Bitcoin might get to celebrate earlier than expected. Ironically if City lose to Arsenal then the game Liverpool would have to win is against their Merseyside rivals Everton. They will be very keen that if Liverpool as expected are set to become champions then it isn’t against them that it becomes official.

I think that they Champions League is going to be cancelled. In order for the CL matches to happen all leagues should have started and teams should be prepared. This needs a lot of time to happen and we are already on June.
Yeah, I don’t think the CL or EL will be cancelled. UEFA are very keen for them to both be completed, there is a hell of a lot of money involved & sponsorship deals that need to be met.

Interesting article and title in Marca today: If Real Madrid are not going to sign anyone, how will Barcelona pay for Neymar, Pjanic and Lautaro? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Very interesting situation. After a long time, it seems that a situation is possible in which this summer, due to the corona crisis, Real will not bring in any new players. Barcelona, on the other hand, are talking about bringing in Neymar, Miralem Pjanic and Lautaro Martinez…. Only desires or a realistic possibility? Source: https://www.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2020/05/30/5ed2c6b3ca4741e2358b457f.htmlI don’t think Barca will resign Neymar, the other two guys are a possibility though. It’s difficult to see any record breaking (or close to) transfers happening in the current climate.

Awesome update, thanks man. That means crazy Saturdays and Sundays for sure if no 2 matches will be played at the same time, though from what I read they might even be playing every day for some weeks (Monday included) so maybe they try to stagger some of those weekend kickoffs. Presumably though it looks ok to just play Friday, 1 midweek, and then 8 games on the weekends. Suppose it's just logistics now with neutral venues. I just can’t wait to get started, it brings a level of normality to our lives after all the disruption. Hopefully all lockdowns end fully by maybe August & we can get some kind of idea when fans might be able to return to stadiums next season.

Saturday matches will start either at 12.30pm, 3pm, 5.30pm and 8pm. Sunday matches will kick off at either 12pm, 2pm, 4.30pm and 7pm. <...>
♪ Is this the real life?
