2921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Things will be different this time around on: January 02, 2021, 10:00:42 PM
Altcoin season could still be 12 months away, we usually see a crazy alt run AFTER the bitcoin top has been seen & it pops. People run into alts when bitcoin is bleeding out after its top. The bitcoin bull run has only just started kicking in, alt season will come of course but could be 6-12 months away.
2922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 02, 2021, 09:49:51 PM
So West Brom drew 1-1 with both Man City & Liverpool. They’ve followed those results up by losing 5-0 to Leeds & 4-0 to Arsenal. You have to love the EPL Cheesy

My targets are to maybe get to 1500 Merit’s & 2000 Activity & just try to post constructively & be as helpful as I can be. My PM’s are always open to anybody who needs to chat.

I primarily post in the gambling sub but venture here occasionally. Happy New Year!

The first penalty by Harry Kane this time brought the Spurs 1 goal.

I am sure this will be a win at home after three times not won in a Spurs match. I am strong enough to worry that when Spurs lose it is a bet I don't want to lose much money.

But I'm pretty sure Spurs will win the game with Leeds.

Spurs are the better team, I am watching live. The thing is, Leeds are a good attacking team so you can never count them out of any game. The next goal is vitally important in this game to determine the outcome of the game.
2925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The "rat poison" is worth more than Buffett's company on: December 31, 2020, 04:22:02 PM
It wouldn’t surprise me if he has a bunch of bitcoin. When he made that famous derogatory quote towards bitcoin he may have been DCA’ing in & wanted the price to dump so he could buy more cheaper. It’s only an idea but if somebody like him said pro bitcoin stuff the price could have flown up (back then).

Alternatively he just hates bitcoin because him & his banker buddies can’t control it.

Regardless he’s irrelevant either way.
2926  Other / Off-topic / Re: NFL’s Russell Okung Becomes First US Sports League Player to Be Paid in Bitcoin on: December 31, 2020, 04:01:18 PM
Okung is obviously a smart guy, if he doesn’t spend that portion of his salary then he will be even more wealthy when he retires. I saw his tweet declaring this, nice little advertisement for BTC to the average guy on the street.

Mass adoption is coming  Tongue.
2927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: December 31, 2020, 03:47:14 PM
It was again a sluggish Liverpool performance. We should have won the game (Salah had to score yesterday), but Newcastle had some decent chances as well.

It was great to see how big of an impact Thiago will have on the Liverpool team once he's fully fit, it is obvious from 20-ish minutes we have seen yesterday. His ability to dictate tempo, switch play and find little gaps is something that will be really important to the way we play going forward.

In other news - Matip's injury seems not as serious as initially thought - he'll probably return by the end of January.

These kind of games happen, I wouldn’t be too concerned if i was you. Liverpool have been getting some inconsistent results especially away from home. Even then though they are still in 1st place so it’s nothing to be concerned about. Thiago is absolutely world class, different to the other midfielders they have. If they can keep him fit they will win the title. It’d be a surprise if Klopp didn’t buy a CB in January.
2928  Other / Off-topic / Re: C Ronaldo is unbelievable on: December 30, 2020, 06:35:07 PM
Hard to disagree on praising Ronaldo, he’s definitely one of the great of all time. If he’s THE GOAT, well you could argue about that all day long with pros & cons mentioning Maradona, Zidane, Pepe, Messi. Whatever floats your boat but let’s just enjoy CR7’s last few years & be happy we got to witness his magic.
2929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: December 30, 2020, 06:21:59 PM
Man, I had a Spurs / Liverpool double tonight, it’s now turned in to a single after the Spurs postponement. At least we saw another vaccine in the UK approved today which means an end to this nightmare could be close in the New Year.

2931  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to make a girl fall for you? on: December 29, 2020, 03:19:08 PM
You’re not going to get the right answers on how to make a girl fall for you on a tech forum online. Just be confident, be nice, treat her well & be yourself. If she doesn't like you if you are yourself, naturally then she’s not worth wasting your time on.

2932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What people swapping their XRP investment for. on: December 29, 2020, 03:03:36 PM
XRP is taking a real beating at the moment, it’s hard to see how it will recover from here. If anybody is still holding I suggest you diversify into something else & very quickly. I don’t like to see anybody losing money.
2933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Had you sold your Bitcoins ? on: December 29, 2020, 02:41:35 PM
I already sold out all my Bitcoins, and other crypto.

I don't want to risk. i would buy Bitcoin again when it visits $6000 again, maybe next year.

What about you?

Looks like it’s game over for you newbie. Bitcoin is never going to 4 figures in USD again. You made a big mistake, I’d advise you to buy back now before it goes up any more. We’re at the start of the next bull cycle, never sell at the start of a bull cycle.
2934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 29, 2020, 02:33:56 PM
Atletico Madrid confirm termination of Diego Costa contract to end Spain striker's second spell at club. The 32-year-old cited personal reasons for wanting to leave Wanda Metropolitano after being excused from training, having also made it clear that he had no intention of signing an extension.

What was the issue? I haven’t been following La Liga too much this season. Is he not performing too well or is it just because he’s on big wages & isn’t justifying them so Atleti thought best to terminate the contract?
2935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: December 29, 2020, 02:19:17 PM
Predictions -

Brighton vs Arsenal - Tough one but I think away win
Burnley vs Sheff U - Is there a more dull match up? - Draw
S’ton vs West Ham - Home win
WBA vs Leeds - Away win
Man Utd vs Wolves - Home win
2936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 257 Main Event: McGregor vs. Poirier [Prediction and Discussion] on: December 28, 2020, 10:10:38 PM
I really want to see Mcgregor pick up where he left off against Cowboy. I expect Mcgregor to win this but it’s going to be a much tougher test than his last fight was. I just think it’s all set up for Conor to win this, maybe have one more fight against Ferguson or something & then Dana will tempt Khabib out of retirement with a massive deal to face Conor one more time.

But yes, really looking forward to this fight.
2937  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 340k USD Q1 2022 on: December 28, 2020, 09:47:20 PM
I think maybe $150,000 per BTC at Q1 2022. We might peak in Q4 of 2021 though, will be interesting to see how it plays out, this bull run is going to be so explosive.

$340,000 seems a bit much but would love that prediction to come true.
2938  Other / Off-topic / Re: Just for fun -- what does your forum username stand for? on: December 28, 2020, 09:43:07 PM
I can’t even remember to be honest why I picked DeathAngel. It was a long time ago now, I was just trying to think of something cool & picked this. I don’t really have any kind of connections to DeathAngel.
2939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 28, 2020, 09:40:00 PM
Ozil should go back to Germany, somewhere he is familiar with. I think he needs to be loved to play his best football. Arsenal have frozen him out, there really seems no way back there. It’s best for him if he leaves as soon as possible, it will likely be for a lower salary but he has enough money now. Surely he just needs to get back to playing regularly again even if it’s for a less fashionable team.
2940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 28, 2020, 02:12:45 PM
Mesut Ozil has been offered to Juventus - according to Tuttosport.
The Arsenal midfielder's agent has been in contact with the Italian giants over a potential free transfer in 2021.
Ozil will leave Emirates Stadium for nothing upon the expiration of his contract next summer.

Very talented player but equally lazy & doesn’t put in 100% effort anywhere near enough. Arsenal probably can’t wait to get his massive wages off their books. I do not think he is a good option for any team right now tbh.
