Satoshi Nakamoto replied to Satoshi Nakamoto's discussion Bitcoin open source implementation of P2P currency
"Dear Satoshi. Your dox, passwords and IP addresses are being sold on the darknet. Apparently you didn't configure Tor properly and your IP leaked when you used your email account sometime in 2010. You are not safe. You need to get out of where…"

Some of the "Dread Pirate Roberts" fanboys should not forget that he also hired hitmen to kill adversaries.  Nobody was actually killed, but that only because the FBI was setting up a trap including fake pictures of a "done job". He deserves any sentence for that.

No, someone who was in control of Silk Road did that. And DPR wasn't the only person in control after FBI seized it, when the nonexistent "hitmen", including one allegedly a "civilian", were "hired".

Just a matter of time before the rest of the board are coerced into "admitting guilt" to victimless crimes or a repeat performance of Aaron Swartz.

no seeing this happening

Something dramatic would have to happen within 4months like a Dollar Collapse, a War, even some heavy positive regulation or Bitcoin integration to a multi national company such as Amazon would probably not be enough

A war? No one would like BTC to be 10k in exchange of war.  Grin

Wars are constantly raging. I will gladly see a permanent price floor of USD $10k BTC established in exchange for all war ending for the rest of time.

I want BTC to be a currency that doesnt depends on wars to be pumped  Embarrassed

No war ever again, and $10k BTC.

"If drugs are not available in the first place" LOL.

Beyond belief that you've never seen people using paint, glue, or any substance whatsoever to get high (and... low?)

That would be pretty much 100:1 USD or 1:1 USP (US Penny).
3773  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BitcoinStarter.com- Bitcoin Crowdfunding - UPDATED! on: September 06, 2014, 10:05:34 PM

Not sure, partly because I don't know what exchange you're floating to.

Check on coinpost.com and see how they float ad prices. The way they made the ad creation form seems much more straightforward. Also, considering your 5% fee, you should also put in a x*.95 calculation that says how much BTC will ultimately be released if the project is fully funded, like Amazon Marketplace tells sellers before they submit their listings.
3774  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BitcoinStarter.com- Bitcoin Crowdfunding - UPDATED! on: September 06, 2014, 09:44:56 PM

Yes. I meant it to float the BTC amount to $15,789 USD.
3775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and recurring transactions: How to solve pay up front? on: September 06, 2014, 09:23:44 PM
OPEC should just issue a bitcoin fleet card. Bitcoiners fund the card, swipe it at any gas station worldwide, and OPEC pays the gas station or station chain (or rebates their future tanker gas purchases). OPEC needs to start denominating crude barrels in BTC anyway.

i like when people defend this guy. go defend someone who runs a drug dealing business in real life too then. i dont get why anyone talks about dread pirate moron at all. he was dumb, he is dumb, he did illegal things that were totally illegal to start with, and the majority of people agreed it is illegal except some "bitcoin wackjobs"... th emore and more people who talk about this guy like he is something to be respected, the more and more the media is goign to say bad things about bitcoin.

get it? got it? good.

granger, for the ones who get it done.

Its not a question of the guy being an idiot or doing something illegal. The point is the U.S government is over-reaching like they have a long history of doing. Look what they did to
online gaming. They arrested guys who had a business in another country where it is legal. WTF!?

BTW drug dealers are not the problem. Drug users are. Solve the root cause of drug abuse and there will be no need for dealers.
If it was not for drug dealers then drug users would never be able to get ahold of drugs, nor would they have ever gotten into using illegal drugs.

Wrong. Drug lusers can get addicted to any substance, and do whatever it takes to manufacture it for personal use.
3778  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for local transactions on: September 06, 2014, 07:20:04 PM
If video deterred crime, most crime wouldn't be captured on it. If a criminal has no reason to legitimately fear being shot, he will act with impunity.

You are suggesting lethal force versus each criminal? even the tiny ones?

Define "tiny".
3779  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Columbia student Emma Sulkowicz vows to carry mattress around university on: September 06, 2014, 07:18:07 PM
Rapists should be executed, instead of carrying a mattress, she should buy a gun and shoot the asshole in his fkin head!!  Angry

Good for rapists and other violent criminals, most colleges and universities ban self-defense.
3780  Other / Archival / [SOLD] My NameCheap.com account with $20.56 USD in it on: September 06, 2014, 06:29:14 PM

Namecheap will not let me close my account and withdraw the remaining funds to PayPal without being penalized with a transaction fee. So since I have considerable experience with selling my own accounts with stuck funds (still usable to the new account owner actually wanting to spend money on the company), I'm selling this one too, for .

If you don't want to pay with BTC, I also accept cash, but absolutely no PayPal or other non-cash scammer payment methods.

Please PM, IM (links under my QR code avatar), text 619-393-2253, or IRC me.
