3761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is the next altcoin season? on: April 13, 2023, 10:54:42 AM
I have decided I have too many altcoins in my portfolio and want to convert up to half of them into Bitcoin but I am waiting for the next pump like we saw in January to do this as don't want to convert while my altcoins are 20% down.

I have only been in crypto last 12 months so not that experienced when it comes to understanding cycles. Do we have any idea when the next altcoin season is due?

You can sell your altcoins now before it gets even worse, alt coins aren't going to pump soon and even when they do, only the big projects with high market cap will pump because they have the most trust at the moment from investors.

The altcoins season is coming after Bitcoin cross its previous all time high because that's when people will start believing we are in a bull market and for that to happen, Bitcoin halving has to have been done which is happening next year.

Sometimes it's better to take some loss and move on than to lose it all because we were waiting for a recover but the market or that particular project didn't recover. If you want to buy Bitcoin, don't hesitate, buy it immediately.
3762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you withdraw bitcoin this week? on: April 13, 2023, 10:48:08 AM
Withdrawal of bitcoin from my wallet is what I do not do often only when it comes to urgent need that requires expedite attention. I make withdrawal irrespective of what the market is because it was part of the reasons why we save or invest. I actually bought my bitcoin when market was down and also I work too to earn bitcoin and as a matter of fact, I have not actually make any withdrawal from my wallet for a long time now. My current bitcoin holding is up and I would keep holding but would only withdraw when it comes to emergency rescue.

I'll recommend having a separate wallet for your investment and spending. If you keep spending and holding in one wallet, you might be tempted to spend the Bitcoin that were meant for investment that's held in that wallet.

Emergency come up and in trying to solve that you might start looking to spend your investment and immediately that happens it get hard to stop. Whenever any minor emergency comes up you'll get tempted again to touch your investment.

It's very hard to break out of this bad habit so to prevent it from happening, I'll advise you don't keep the two together that's your investment and spending Bitcoin. I use to have this problem as well but after separating my Bitcoin it stop.
3763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Times When Casinos Will Ask Certificate That You Are A Responsible Gambler on: April 13, 2023, 09:52:41 AM
The reason why the government will implement this, as a precaution, is to protect people from losing their wealth and their health from too much gambling because of addiction, it's a way of protection.

The government would never do that, they act like the care while they don't, those casinos will lose customers if this get implemented and that'll be bad for business, if there's no business then the government don't get paid.

The casinos are one of the businesses that the government get taxes from because they're actively making profit. The government won't want to lose that tax revenue. The casino aren't responsible for your addiction too.

You should be able to control yourself and only bet with money you can afford to lose, if you can't handle your addiction then quit gambling and look for other ways you can make money or entertain yourself that isn't gambling.
3764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does it take to become a Bitcoin investor on: April 12, 2023, 03:20:27 PM
I have a close friend who recently purchased 0.8 Bitcoins and when we met he was happy and was like " I am now a Bitcoin investor"
At that point I go this question in mind ;what does it really take to become a Bitcoin investor .does it mean that if you own a considerable amount of Bitcoin in your wallet you are now a Bitcoin investor or there is more to it aside having a basic knowledge of crypto currencies

An investor is someone who has invested in a particular assets like Bitcoin, gold etc. It doesn't matter how little or small you have invested or how big your investment was but we're all investors. Investors are then divided into different groups, from the low investors to the whales.

The whales are those investors who have very large amount of an investment that they can influence the market by selling their shares. Before you can become a Bitcoin whale you have to own thousands of Bitcoin but just by purchasing Bitcoin with as low as $1 you're an investor.

Been an investor has to do with your mindset so even though you don't have enough Bitcoin now but stay consistent in buying Bitcoin, at some point you would had invested so much into Bitcoin and Bitcoin would had rise to a price that would have given you enough God profit when you sell.
3765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it wise to spend your Bitcoin on: April 12, 2023, 03:10:09 PM
Both are good. In spending, you help the bitcoin economy because just like the typical economy from countries, whenever there's someone who spends, that gives solely back in the circulation.
No one will stop us as well from doing any or both of them. Choose what you think is right for you but always allocate a holding for yourself because that's what everyone knows. We are all aware what's gonna wait us in the future with bitcoin so prepare yourself to keep some.
You're free to spend all of it if you want to but just don't forget that reminder that you should also hold.

Although you're free to spend all your Bitcoin since it's your money and investment and nobody should tell you want to do with your money but it's always better to avoid overspending today so you can be enjoying your life tomorrow because of your good decisions.

Your spending of Bitcoin should be form your spending money and not your investment money. Instead of spending cash, you can be spending Bitcoin but you should never touched money you have kept for investing or already invested into Bitcoin, it should be for holding.

Bitcoin is a currency therefore it can be spent, seeing people's spending their Bitcoin doesn't make them stupid or not understanding how to invest in Bitcoin. You can spend Bitcoin but not selling your investment.
3766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin overshadowed by economic lie on: April 12, 2023, 02:19:46 PM
We are all being feed of wrong information of economic norms by the billionaires that benefiting the current system. Bitcoin is the best asset to invest in terms of price growth on long term period yet people are still scared to touch due the wrong information given by the main stream media.

The banks and the government have a plan and they're trying to centralized Bitcoin as much as possible before they allow the public to start investing in it. They want to be able to track everything happening on and off the blockchain before they can adopt it but their plans has already failed.

No matter what the government do, they can't centralized Bitcoin because it was built with that immunity. The government can make all the exchange undergo KYC to get customers information so they know who is sending Bitcoin or receiving but we'll always have alternatives.

This alternative will be decentralized so the government can't track who's using those platforms. It doesn't matter how many lies they tell about the market, at the end of the day. Bitcoin would be successful for those that ignores those fud and invested by buying and holding.
3767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IF ONLY EVERYONE CAN EASILY ACCEPT CRYPTO on: April 12, 2023, 01:57:10 PM
My point here is that, if i had sent the money in form of crypto(Bitcoin), my transaction would have run smoothly, the only way i would have had an issue was if i had transfer to the wrong address.

We'll get to that point, but it'll take time, we can't just expect everyone to be opened minded as we're on the forum for accepting Bitcoin. It's going to be a gradual process and soon every business will be accepting Bitcoin as the advantages would had gone mainstream by then.

For now there are still many negative stories been spread by the media and government yet, we have still having success compare to 10 years ago around when Bitcoin just came out. In the future there'll also be a progress in the adoption speed compared to where we are today.

When speaking about adoption of cryptocurrency, use Bitcoin instead of crypto because that's the goals at the moment, the community is fighting for the adoption of Bitcoin and not cryptocurrency which involves altcoins and other shitcoins that can't receive global adoption.
3768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: we don't have proper education on bitcoin. on: April 12, 2023, 01:39:23 AM
Please correct me if I am wrong
Even in today's modern world, except for a few people in Europe-America, the general public of the entire world does not have a proper understanding of Bitcoin. Sad Sad Except European-American, anyone who have a little idea about Bitcoin also have misconceptions. Due to this problem, many people are unable to invest in a great platform like Bitcoin even if they want to. This problem may not seem like a big deal to many, but think about third world countries. A sad reality is, in my country 80-90% of the population are not familiar with Bitcoin.
Is there any way to solve this problem?

I don't think you're wrong but you're not absolutely correct as well because those third world countries you think don't understand bitcoin than the Europeans or Americans might actually do. This people are the ones using Bitcoin for it's purpose which is decentralized transactions.

But the Europeans are so dip into centralization that most of the platform they're using or allowed to use are centralized Example, from the exchanges to the wallets. Educating people about Bitcoin doesn't have to be focused on just one continents because you think they need it more.

We all need Bitcoin and that's why bitcoin is the only voice of the people, it who be used as a means to protect the over centralization of our world. We don't have privacy anymore and that's an issue as the governments can now monitor all our conversation from the apps in our phone.
3769  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: April 12, 2023, 01:22:33 AM
we don't have to compare a casino to exchange at this level because exchanges have to pressure from customers and they will want to find out whether an exchange is registered or not before putting there money on the exchange. There are many casinos that had been existing that are not registered and they are not bothered because there is no one pressuring them.

Just because nobody is pressuring them that doesn't mean they shouldn't register their casino. As a gambler before I make use of any casinos I make sure they are registered and have a license for operation. When you haven't been scammed by this casinos, you'll think it is fine.

But immediately you get scammed then you'll be scared of using this unregistered casino as they can run away with your money without been punished because nobody knows who the operators of the casinos were. Unregistered casino is a death trap.

Gambling with unregister casino will also prevent you from trusting the casinos to deposit big capital for higher stakes. And without you staking high, you'll miss out on potential big wins or payout depending on the game you're gambling on.
3770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much effort should one put into Bitcoin investments on: April 12, 2023, 01:02:59 AM
Wait for how long? Most persons have a target and price that they expect bitcoins to get to before they sell. When the price gets to that point either quickly or takes a little time, they sell without considering if the prices will go hire. They are okay with that profit. Not everyone is waiting for bitcoins to get to a new all time high before they sell.

But they all should be waiting because they're losing whenever they sell, for people that sold when Bitcoin reached $20k for the first time in the 2017 bull market, they all lost when Bitcoin reach a new all time high in 2021, they should have just hodl instead of selling.

The sellers are the reasons Bitcoin is finding it hard to break some resistance level .Bitcoin gives more profits when we hodl. Young investors need to understand that making riches has to do with been patient when investing and not always been in a rush to sell.

Alot of efforts has to be put into investing in Bitcoin to protect our investment. Many people that ignored all this precaution to take are all regretting since their assets has been stolen or forgotten.
3771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can owning 1 Bitcoin make you rich in 2023? on: April 12, 2023, 12:50:30 AM
It is true that having just one Bitcoin is not enough to become wealthy overnight. While Bitcoin has appreciated significantly in value over the years, its price is still subject to volatility and is influenced by a range of factors, including market demand, regulatory changes, and technological developments.

I disagree because nobody can predict the actual value that Bitcoin can rise to. Who knows maybe one day we'll be able to see Bitcoin trading at one millions dollars or even more higher values than that amount.

If you own just one Bitcoin when this price is reaches then you would have become a millionaire immediately and that means you're rich. It doesn't matter what amount of Bitcoin you hold but how patient you can wait.

The price might be looking impossible but I'm not saying this will happen tomorrow, we have to wait years maybe decade but at a time we'll be buying one Bitcoin in their millions and if you're willing to hold, you'll also become rich.
3772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Thought On Gambling Strategies on: April 12, 2023, 12:39:33 AM
yes indeed in gambling there is no strategy whereas gambling is just a place to have fun not a place expecting profit.
but i have one question in the sports betting section. Is arbitrage betting a strategy in gambling? or just a method to win?
yes, I fully understand that there really is no way to beat the house and that arbitrage betting is so frowned upon by bookies that led to banning of gamblers, but I consider arbitrage betting as one of the strategies in gambling that has a definite outcome. although it has to use a long time and strict precision.

Generally, there's a strategy in anything that two or more people can do and be successful at, which gambling is one of them. There was a report of some set of individual that use a strategy to win whenever they gamble and didn't get caught until a very long time.

Although gambling has to do with much of been lucky but you can also find a way to come out successful most times. When gambling just consider yourself having fun and not get pressured into wanting to win whenever you bet or you'll always encounter bad lucks.

Been luckily is one of the ways to always win your bet and there has been ways of making yourself lucky and been prepared is one of those ways, always be prepared.
3773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your opinion on the future of Decentralised exchanges on: April 09, 2023, 04:17:28 AM
Decentralized exchanges have been gaining popularity due to their transparency, security, and lack of central authority. While Binance is still a popular choice for many, the shift towards decentralized exchanges such as Uniswap and PancakeSwap may continue as users seek a more secure and reliable option.

The future of exchange in the cryptocurrency market has to be decentralized exchange and Binance themselves knows this that's why they went on to develop their own decentralized exchange and still working on improving it.

Centralized exchanges will soon get shut down by the government, they're just waiting for one big mistakes from the exchange like with FTX that was using customers funds for their personal businesses thinking they won't be caught.

Immediately they find something against this centralized exchange, they'll shut them down. Binance exchange is their next target and they're looking for a fault but so far, Binance exchange has been holding strong still decentralized exchange are the answers to all this regulations issues from the government.
3774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ways to trade? on: April 09, 2023, 04:12:03 AM
If you are new to cryptocurrencies, it would be nice to know in advance the coins that are in great demand so far, if you already know the most in demand coins and already have a choice of coins that you want to trade, then you trade with more profitable technicalities, my advice is better to use the medium-term or long-term method, because we can make decisions in a way that is not in a hurry

A good way to trade is to wait on the price of a token to calm down before you enter the market, just because a new token is listed and it get overpriced doesn't mean that's the actual price of the coin. Every new project gets that hyped of new listing.

If you give the project some time then you'll have a chart to be able to understand how the project will move in future. If you hurry into trading a newly listed token, you could buy at high price and never be able to sell at that price again.

Altcoins aren't Bitcoin that you have some hope of it returning to its previous all time high, we have many altcoins that can never reach their all time high again because they got overhyped when they were launch but now the project is seen for what it really is, which isn't worth investing.
3775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you love and enjoy taking risk? on: April 09, 2023, 03:59:06 AM
Some months a go, I was thinking altcoins may favour me since bitcoin is still unpredictable. I decided to invest my last cash at hand on luno, Eth, buying babe doggy, peg token and tron. I don't really understand how this things works when I bought it was all gloomy without bitcoin but in less than a week my money dried up.

What future do we really hope for altcoins without bitcoin?

Without Bitcoin, there'll be no cryptocurency market, why most cryptocurency are still trading today is because Bitcoin is still active and they're trading those altcoins to get more bitcoin so they get more amount of Bitcoin for the bull market.

The altcoins you invested in are very odd, why invest in what you do not understand as you said. You're meant to do some research before buying or investing into any project. Your portfolio is filled with meme coins and shitcoins.

Excluding ethereum, I don't see any other projects having a good run when the bull market returns. Baby doge is just a scam coin that's benefiting from the hype of dogecoin. Buy quality projects like Arbitrum, Polygon etc.
3776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Tether crash to $0? on: April 09, 2023, 03:42:15 AM
I don't think it's impossible for USDT to be zero, it's unlikely as long as the Tether company maintains its reserves and continues to fulfill its obligations to users.  However, there are some risks associated with using a stablecoin like USDT, including a potential loss of confidence in the stability of the coin, regulatory oversight, or the possibility that the Tether company may fail to maintain its reserves but remember that Tether usdt is a top 3 coin in market cap and Tether usdt is a stable coin most used in the world.

Don't trust any stablecoin, they can all crash at any moment, Tether is the oldest of the stablecoin and has gone through more FUD than any other one yet it's still standing and that's because it's very centralized.

I think because there are so many companies invested in tether stablecoin that's why it's still holding strong. Tether has drop to below $1 on several occasions but it has always bounced back and that's good for the market.

If tether was to collapse like other stablecoin, this might make the market lose trust in stablecoin entirely and that'll be very difficult for the market to operate without stablecoin as they are the saviors when price is dumping.
3777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PANCAKE (CAKE) will reach $100. My own goal, NFA on: April 09, 2023, 03:27:13 AM
Indeed, CAKE coin is a good coin to buy considering its supply and the way it has been running to this day but I would be quite cautious about it since there are also several competitors that offers some if not entirely the same services as PANCAKESWAP not to mention the possibility of better options popping out in the coming months as well. With all these considered, invest but don't overdo it. Just enough to make you happy when the bullish season comes and just a bit sad when the price doesn't head towards the direction you dream of. hehe.

There should be better and newer decentralized exchange tokens coming out in the next bull market although having some old ones isn't a bad idea. As it stands this prediction is looking impossible to achieve and not even UNI can achieve it.

Maybe a price of $30 can be achieved in the next bull market and that should be around 10x return but as for $100, that'll be asking too much of the project. Pancakeswap is no longer been hype as it was when it was launched.

We now have other swaps on the Binance blockchain and Binance also have their own decentralized exchange so alot of volume won't be going to pancakeswao anymore and that volume is needed for the price of their token to increase.
3778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Doge can it go 1$ on: April 09, 2023, 03:19:03 AM
Elon Musk has done his surprise by putting the Doge logo on Twitter which obviously made a surprise with the price increase but once again the surprise couldn't last long, it only happened for a moment. I think you are right, if really want Doge to have significant changes, encouragement is needed, not only with words but also with a lot of funds so that you can give injections so that Doge can be encouraged, or make innovations that can make many investors believe more. but once again to be able to reach $ 1 is not an easy thing that can be done by elon musk.

We're in a bear market and that's why the hype hasn't lasted very long, if same gesture was to be made in the bull market that everybody is hype and there's lots of money coming into the market then the price should have pumped more.

Memecoin gets their value from the hypes they get from celebrity like Elon musk and this won't stop. If Elon musk was to die or leave the cryptocurency space another celebrity will take over and the cycle continues.

I believe Elon musk has other plans for the bull market and he's waiting for that season to unleash them and that'll skyrocket the price to $1. Elon musk has so much invested in dogecoin and Bitcoin and he'll keep pumping those coins to profit.
3779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Space ID token? on: April 09, 2023, 03:03:23 AM
Binance is going to list Space ID token this week. What do you guys think about this token? Can we expect at least 1$ value in this coin? As I can see there will be very big movements because this project is making hype in twitter because of their airdrop phases.

Looking at the chart on Binance exchange, it got an all time high of $2.5 and I think it can reach that high again during the bull market. Currently it's trading around $0.45 cent and has very active volumes which if this comes during the bull market, $1 is  very achievable.

Space ID token seems to be a name service project and if we look at the success of Ethereum name service project ENS, and predict Space ID moving in the same direction then we can expect a minimum of 10x on this project in the bull market.

The hype around the project is very huge and it's already listed on Binance exchange which means there will be billions coming into the project when the market is filled with fomo in the bull market. This is a project worth keeping an eye on.
3780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects come out when bull market begin. on: April 09, 2023, 02:49:58 AM
it's mainly because the success rate of building project around bullish is higher, since the flow of capital was massive, even if the project are generally shit it'd still gain some of the investment because many people out there getting fomo'd they'd just throw their money around thinking it'd make them rich overnight, that's the reason very few project released at bearish, because to be success in bearish, require tremendous quality and fair tokenomics in general.

Project getting released in bear market with a mindset of getting investors hyped about the project don't usually get that since there isn't much inflow of cash to the market in bear seasons. Not even Bitcoin gets that hyped during the bear market.

So then how can altcoins survive it, investors only invest in project that they believe they can trust during the bear market unlike the bull market when everything is been invested in because of the hype of bull market.

Investors go for project that have high market value and that's why the high market coins get the first pump after Bitcoin when the bear market is coming to an end then later the main altcoins season starts with low cap coins pumping.
