collecting with faucet is best way for free method, you can collect some highest fauce payout then use proxy, then use multiple account
and now you can earning unlimited bitcoin Roll Eyes  Grin

thats correct and possible but dont forget the time you will need to waste for collecting faucet, personally for me it isn't worth my time collecting dust for my precious time

i think op have more time to waste it Grin because he want to earn Bitcoins fast and free
if he can collect 10faucet with 1000satosi/hours and he can collect 100proxy, he can earning 0.02/day  Cheesy
if he had enough stamina

0.02 bitcoin is about $8. That could be a good value for some countries. But it is lower than the minimum wage  per hour in the US.
whether you come from as a newbie $8/day is a good place to start

8 a day is quite good if we consider that this is bitcoin and bitcoin is more likely to grow in the future so those 8 will become 16-24-32 etc...

$8  a day right now is half of a part time in real life(assuming the usual $500), one must consider the time you spent for accumulating those money, not only the quantity

if it is 2 hours only for 8, then it's good as working a normal job in real life

Who is actually getting this though? I have not seen anyone with faucets getting .02 a day.  They are far less on ones I've seen.

I don't include referral ones... yes some do make a decent amount of referrals but that is not something easily done.
3782  Other / Meta / Re: [Proposal] New "Ancient" ranking / higher than Legendary on: December 06, 2015, 10:35:39 PM
Probably the next one would be "Mythical".

I like the sound of it.  Ancient after thinking does kinda make the account sound old not special. Mythical has kinda a more magical sounding.

I can only wonder what activity for it would be.   You would have to have it very high to make it so special.  I like the random factor to, so random just so high very few would ever get it.  I think it would be fun if only a handful ever got it the activity level was so high.

They should just double with every rank in my opinion. Makes it easier and doubling each time makes the ranks much difficult to achieve whilst keeping some standard/order. Legendary should become 960 and then Mythical 1920.

I like your thinking on this.  That range is pretty good.  I still would like it to be random as it adds additional factor that makes it even more special.

But if you did random with 1920 - 2XXX (2000 and something) I would like it.   I just want this one to be one where when someone sees it they are impressed with the person getting it.

Also giving them a nice deign on the coin's beside name.  I don't know how to make it super special.  But it would have to be something worthy of the rank.
3783  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Review] Avalon 6 Miner - Winter Mining - Notlist3d - Also FAQ and Help on: December 06, 2015, 10:27:49 PM
Can you go into more detail your testing?  Are you saying when you connect the 2nd unit, since it's being controlled by the same PI controller, it's all plug and play.  The additional Hash rate will just get added to the pool no additional configuration?  Since it's the same PI controller, does this mean we only need 1 network connection and 1 IP address only for the entire cluster?  If that is the case, then this will be super Awesome.

Yes it is that simple.  That's why I really liked it.  You can either plug in usb of PI or chain them one to another with port on front of miner.  I choose USB just as I spaced them out a little more.  But they just as easily could have done a chain.

But it's plug and play.  You already did the setup for the first miner.  You now just plug extra miners in either of the two possible way's and it get's detected and mines with all your settings still in tact.  Everything from networking to pool's.

So yes 1 IP for up to 50 of these things.  So expandibility is pretty impressive to me at least.

As far as testing there are a few things I would still like to do.  But first I'm running at default with the two.  I would really like to get a week or so and show stability.  I think stability is a pretty important test.
3784  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Any real Antminer S7 competitor out there ? on: December 06, 2015, 10:24:09 PM
To answer the title question, yes, but they won't start hashing until sometime in 2016. My own company, as well as several other companies I'm aware of, are currently working on next-gen miners.

Hmm well that's not what I would call answering the question.... Sometime in 2016 is a bit Barn Door like, care to share some more details?

Rich

I agree on more details.  A lot of companies say they will come out with something... and never do it.  Worst are ones that do it and accept pre-orders.

What makes you so sure in a year you can do this?  I mean there is no way you have chips locked in for a year.... we don't even know what the chips will be in a year.  So you are kinda hard to believe at this current point.
3785  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Placing machines outside on cold winter? -20 on: December 06, 2015, 10:21:28 PM
For my small setup, I open the windows and allow the cold are to come into the basement if the miners get 'heated'

For OC'ing this has really helped out this winter

That is much better then outside solution.  You get the cool air.  But if it's going to raiin/snow or moisture you can close window.

So I like this much more then the idea of leaving a miner outdoors.  I'm no fan of outside.

3787  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 21.co bitcoin computer/miner on: December 06, 2015, 09:56:59 PM
What do you think it costs 21.co to produce that thing? Has to be under $200. Not a bad profit margin.

You can build it yourself for around $80 with kits that have everything need on amazon and I am sure those folks are making money on the $80.  So 21.co buying and making in bulk probably made these for around $40 each I would imagine.  Of course there is money in marketing and if they were smart they dumped a lot into marketing early to make a fast push to get the early crowd because I think now that people can see having already figured out how awesome it is to own one, but it is no where near $400 they are putting on it.

Now that they have put the target out there you better believe as open source goes you will have developers working around the clock to provide free payments libraries that will run just the same.  In fact if I understand what 21.co offered was just the tools that are already free to everyone else and then it is up to the purchaser to go and develop.  (I could be wrong there)  But I cannot find anywhere on their site where there is an out of the box payment solution that runs right off their node.  If there is, then my goof and and I missed it, but like I said there are going to be several solutions,  very soon and by soon I bet within weeks for people to start using.  Then you will have the opportunity for people to build payment stations (just like credit card machines but without the banks) such as what 21.co is doing but at a fraction of the cost.

I think they had a great idea but came out of the gate way too greedy.

Their idea I tought was putting asics in everyday items.   So they did not really follow their idea in my mind.  Come out with a special RPI.... that is really not the same as putting into everyday item.

I still think it's just so when they go to investors they can say they no have a item out there using their chips.  I don't think this item was meant to sell lots, but much more limited sales.

They should do garage heaters, space heaters, fridge, etc, anything that outputs heat and can be connected via wifi for example.  that would be cool.  routers are another nice idea.

That's what they made it sound like and all they really did was a RPI topper... so not a everyday item mod.  And on router bitmain beat them to it... so not as fun being 2nd to do it.

I would love a lightbulb doing it since bitfury never did sell those.  But they could have done it so much better in a different item.   But they choose to just get a product out there at a rediclous price.
3788  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Review] Avalon 6 Miner - Winter Mining - Notlist3d - Also FAQ and Help on: December 06, 2015, 09:51:21 PM
Testing two has goon very smooth.  It's been a few hours over a day and both seem to be working great.

So far very good marks on expand-ability.  Being able to just plug it in and zero setup on the additional units is a nice time savor.
3789  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Review] Avalon 6 Miner - Winter Mining - Notlist3d - Also FAQ and Help on: December 06, 2015, 07:35:58 PM
thats going to generate a lot of heat. hope you have windows you can leave open or plan on leaving the garage door open.

Also depends on location.  It is getting into winter mining for a lot of people.  This makes it much easier and cheaper to cool down miners.

I ran all summer just with big amounts of CFM and a good exhust.  It's a lot more work during the summer then the free winter air.

3791  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What are the most popular miners? on: December 06, 2015, 07:24:12 PM
Hey notlist3d, thank you for your answer.  You understood my question.  Exactly, I am NOT looking for information about hardware, just software.

Quote
And just to understand are you talking about like big data stuff? Or are you talking about mining as in sha256?   Just making sure were talking about same thing.

I don't understand what you mean by this.

Regarding why I want numbers on software.  I would like to understand the evolution of mining software.  Specifically, what types of changes to the code are made as time goes on.  This is possible to do with CGMiner and BFGMiner because they are up on Github.  If they are in fact the most popular miners, then that is sufficient.  But if 80% of the BTC are actually mined with a proprietary software that a pool uses, then analyzing the changes to CGMiner and BFGMiner would be misleading.  But it seems based on your answer that it IS in fact mostly CGMiner and BFGMiner...

Thanks again for the information, really appreciate it.

It is CGMIner and BFGMiner they are the ones most will  know this as it just is what everyone uses.  I'm not sure how you will ever get numbers though as far as how many use what.

A lot of asic companies never release how many miners they make.  So there is already a huge thing you really won't get stats for.  You could ask the makers of each progam... but I'm not sure how much they really would release just for you to know.  I would think they might want a better cause then a person just wondering to give out their info, but I could be wrong.

3793  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: December 06, 2015, 09:43:14 AM
bitcoin mining, altcoin mining, bitcoin trade and signature campaigns in this forums.
Bitcoin mining? That doesn't seem like a great idea to me. Unless you have a really powerful Bitcoin miner, or own a Bitcoin mining farm, then all you're really doing is wasting your time and money. Altcoin mining is a better option if you pick the right altcoin.

current is better to mine alt rather then btc
bigger profit

trading them for btc and btc to some promising alt is good to you may have big income in this

some month ago i try mining altcoin, called droidzcoin and im lose 0.1btc i try buying at ICO price and still get lose
after it i try mining other altcoin and lose again,,

i think better to buy bitcoin and trade it  Wink
My experience in mine altcoin also pretty bad, I was never profitable and always lose. when I rented rigs never ROI.

I agree, it's better trading altcoin or bitcoin.

It's very risky on a lot of them.  They are pump/dump, if you hold to long ... you are stuck with a coin that is diving in price.   Some do get in on the upswing and make very good profits.  But it's highly risky.

BTC is much more stable long term it's a safer bet.  But it normally does not have the swings altcoins do.  So traders still go after altcoins.

all must have risks. but altcoin trade better make a profit compared with a trade bitcoin it in my opinion. because bitcoin trades must have a lot of capital

Look at percentage of gain just holding BTC today.  I would argue it's safer and still can have decent percentages in a pretty small time were almost about to 400 dollars again.

Take alt coins most are not worth much at all it's pump/dump.  Not long term and also a lot of people lose on altcoins.  A argument could be made for everyone who gained off the altcoin there was a person who lost by buying it.  So not all win.

I would argue .02 is not "fast" or is it free with amount of time on faucets... .02 is a day i would have to see some more proof to even believe.  Most make cents per hour.  .02 is pretty unheard of when it comes to faucet use in a day.

So many better things that time could be used for that down the road would have much better payoffs.

3796  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Advice on setting up a personnal farm on: December 06, 2015, 09:27:46 AM
My reply was a facetious mix of rhetoric and sarcasm, since we all know gambling is not a real investment and the person I was directing it at clearly has a history of it as well as the ever-popular spam signature campaigns.

And altcoins as a LOW-RISK investment? Are you fucking serious? While you're at it, you should put some money towards the new Joshua Zipkin / Friedcat joint-venture startup, guaranteed to make you money Roll Eyes. [ Note: This was also sarcasm]

As far as I'm concerned there are almost no sound BTC investments.  You can either buy and hodl coin speculating that it will increase in value (which will not net you a + BTC return), or speculate on mining if YOUR circumstances are right, hoping for a BTC return.  People are always quick to bag on mining, but if you look at the track record, it is one of the only investments that have the ability to generate a positive BTC return depending on your purchase price and hosting cost.  Pretty much everything else has turned out to be a scam, and has resulted in a hell of a lot more losses than mining in general.

Buying one of your new 2x 2000 psu's and running 3 s-7's.  Is an investment.

I have a friend building a 60kwatt solar field that is an investment.

Mining has money left for spot mining under the correct conditions.

I think a new farmer needs to consider getting your 2880watt psu's and your 4000 watt 2x psu's  then running s-7's and avalon 6's

Of course that farmer needs to understand selling off gear when he needs to sell.

I look forward to using finksy/J4bbrwock   psu's    in this solar setup that my friend is building.

WOW! A 60kwatt solar field is a huge investment. Where is your friend located?

I am interested to know more about this solar project.

Very impressive for sure.  Is the goal of it to be bitcoin mining with all of this electricity? Or is it selling to electric company?

Either way that is a lot of solar.  Could be interesting to hear more about it for sure.
3797  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: wanted: New hardware on: December 06, 2015, 09:26:27 AM
you can always get an avalon 6 if you dislike the antminers Tongue
they might not have better efficiency or better price, but most likely they have better build quality

Right now the two miners for home/hobby are Bitmain and Avalon.   There will be more in future like that b-11 I think it is.   But as far as timeline... hard to say.

And with price jumping up so quick it is letting older miners mine longer. So that works out nicely for people with a little older gear.

Nice price  Grin

yes I see 500 to follow by years end.  I also see 600 sometime near my birthday (late Jan)

remember we were once over 1150.

So it is not impossible to think that 500 or 600 are right around the corner.

It sure is nice to see happened much sooner then I thought it would. But I won't complain about that.

Bitwisdom going up with all the price going up it looks like:

Bitcoin Difficulty:    72,722,780,643

3799  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn Bitcoins fast and free?? on: December 06, 2015, 04:23:57 AM
Bitcoins fast and free only faucet, gambling is good enough to get bitcoin fast and free, but you must find gambling sites give promotion or giveaway, such as sign-up bonus.
gambling sites with promotion or giveaway usually go along with some kind of conditions like: you have to wager X% before you can withdraw. That can be a problem too

yes gambling may give you fast bitcoins and in huge number of satoshi too. but gambling is always very dangerous to our investments. So, we must gamble with low bet amount.

Gambling can not be a way of earning bitcoins when we consider it's negative aspects. To earn and to keep your bitcoins safe we never try gambling.

It can be a way of earning.... it's just one with a horrible downside that most games the house always wins.  And even picking who win's at sports or horses, etc.  I don't care how good you are eventually you can lose.

I would never advise it as a investment. I think its more of a hobby/fun or possible addiction.   Not really good return for most.
3800  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: December 06, 2015, 04:19:00 AM
Is there some way to earn Bitcoins quickly?

Mining seems to be too far ahead of me, and faucets give out very little.

Any suggestions?

-

Even an expensive mining rigs, I think bitcoin mining is reallyprofitable now. What the sense of having an expensive rigs if other factors are not suit to start your mining method.

It all depends we cannot make a blanket statement mining is profitable or unprofitable.  There are individual things with each miner that determine this.

If you tell your electricity and if you have import tax/vat most miners can give you a decent idea if you would be profitable as of now.   Down the road it's all speculation.  But many such as me love it.
