New members should pay like 0.01 BTC to register.

Haha. In that case, only scammers are going to join... They will pay 0.01 BTC and then use their ponzi to make 1-2 BTC...

Then you ban their ponzi schemes and thus hurt their wallets. After a while most of them will give up. Right now there is almost no cost to register
here and attempt to scam, very bad idea!
3782  Other / Meta / Re: Should newbies be restricted again? on: March 08, 2014, 01:01:25 AM
New members should pay like 0.01 BTC to register. There are many faucets, there are many exchanges and hardly anyone comes here anymore
for reasons other than to make money. With everything that has to do with making money there are initial costs so why make it 0 with Bitcoin?
3783  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=506167 on: March 08, 2014, 12:53:24 AM
please bring back the newbie section to atleast irritate the scammers for more then a 30 second registration process

please do this asap!

Fuck that, make new members pay like 0.01 BTC to register. Seriously!

Yeah, but that is an address controlled by the collector and not the beneficiary of the donation.

Are you suggesting AA will scam fund money? If yes, how come someone with VIP status here don't know yet who is who in Bitcoin community?  Huh

People are so naive...

I know, right? Believing everything they hear without seeing any real evidence to support it. It's crazy!

Right?  People believe in a big bang and that we evolved from fish without seeing any real evidence too!  Crazy!

What you mean with "no evidence we evolved from fish"? See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dagon

Small donation sent, to use phrase received via email some time ago "little cent sent via btc now ok" (Chinese people, I guess)  Grin

It is user responsibility to check what is valid deposit address. On the other hand, exchange guys should have a backup of all private keys used.

Do not add more bullshit uninnovative coins like MEME bullshits, celebrity bullshits, game bullshits, animal bullshits and also scams like Aurora.

Revolution for Ukraine joining EU or revolution for Ukraine getting rid of EU, USA and other western scumbags?
3793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Billion Dollar Idea on: March 05, 2014, 07:51:29 PM
I have a new idea, it's absolutely revolutionary. It will change the world forever. It's the trillion dollar idea. If you think Microsoft, Apple, or Bitcoin is big. You've seen nothing yet. This will be infinitely bigger than the biggest companies in the world combined. If you're interested in The Trillion Dollar Idea, well frankly you're gonna have to stay interested, cause you ain't gettin it.

After reading through posts and private messages with folks willing to offer their entire savings, even their lives to get even a whisper of what The Trillion Dollar Idea, I will release on March 30th, which is a day that will go down in history, as hordes of people will intend to copy The Trillion Dollar Idea. However the negotiations of such a release is withstanding, if you are eager for a early private launch as many of you are, feel free to message me.

Stay tuned, cause TTDI(The Trillion Dollar Idea) is coming out soon!

3795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ZET] Zetacoin - SHA256 coin - Quick confirmations on: March 05, 2014, 07:10:57 PM
do you guys think that it will hit $1-$2?

Have you thought that litecoin worth 10 cents 1.5 year ago will be trade for 20 bucks today?
Considering that still 99% of humanity doesn't know what bitcoin is and how to buy it, we can expect next waves of newcomers that will be amazed by cryptoworld and due to 'high' bitcoin price, alts would look cheap for them. Sure we have more and more alts, so good investor should diversify wallet into many alts not one or two.
If you mean $1 or $2 dollars, yes it is possible. If you mean the price due to bitcoin (ZET/BTC) I think it will rise but not so much. Bitcoin itself most probably will explode and this will be the most important factor that will influence the price of ZET.

so i should hang on to my coins, i was mining zet from day one and kept buying and i didnt sell i am sitting on a nice stash of zet Smiley  if it gets to $2 i will be loaded

As we can see looking at 2 years charts of alts, long holders with diversified wallets are the winners. The most difficult thing is to stick with same amount (or more) of coins during all this time. Sure you can ride on waves trying to make more and then stay with it or invest this superplus into other coins but still hardest thing is to wait till next Bitcoin boom.

The situation and what to do next are not as clear as few years ago, when there were less than 10 cryptocoins in total. To properly diversify now
is a hard task even for experienced traders. With new coins coming up daily and some of them attracting a lot of not new but current cryptocoiners,
who then abandon coins they were invested into earlier, there is a very low guarantee diversify once and hold will work long-term.
3796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAX] MaxCoin - Alive and Kickin' on: March 05, 2014, 06:35:39 PM

So far 9 out of 10 web cryptocoin wallets ended up hacked and people lost all or most of coins so I don't see MAX web wallet as a positive move.

Developers should better add Coin Control to Maxcoin-Qt, see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=144331.0
3797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MediterraneanCoin (MED) - REUSE your ERUPTER!! new hybrid PoW algo! on: March 04, 2014, 06:17:24 PM
Dev can we please get an update? I am afraid the lack of promoting is really hurting this coin.

Like a month ago I suggested to dev to at least add checkpoint at some blockheight, he agreed but obviously no new client was released afterwards.

Coin control maybe?

Logo competition maybe?

More votes at MintPal maybe? https://www.mintpal.com/voting

Mazacoin is in PARTNERSHIP with the government of the Lakota people.

No it is not. No one from that community confirmed having anything with this shit clone.

That guy who just put 28 btc in

Trade volume for MZC and other coins are way bellow what MintPal reports, clearly a scam exchange. But just go, buy buy buy then cry later.
3800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MazaCoin Receiving A LOT OF PRESS from MAINSTREAM MEDIA on: March 04, 2014, 02:37:26 PM
With Auroracoin, its just a bunch of folks going to 'airdrop' free coins to citizens.

No they won't, they will drop them at exchanges and blame (stupid, dumb, uneducated, whatever) citizens for doing it. Wanna bet, maybe?
