3782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who's brave/stupid enough to invest their life savings into Bitcoin? on: August 25, 2014, 09:48:55 AM
I would better go for stock market[bonds] than investing in bitcoins. Its risky imo. Hard to predict, so I will play safe game.

ROFL!

It's not the sugar industries fault the western world are a bunch of fatasses who don't get enough exercise and eat their vegetables and refuse to change.

Just what I was thinking Yayayo, either a conglomerate or perhaps a syndicate, I guess it depends on the details.

3787  Other / Politics & Society / Re: QE being "reduced soon" on: August 24, 2014, 03:36:13 PM
soonish  Grin !

and when we hit the next crisis, QE 23 will happen. it will never end. USA , Asia (japan) and EU are going this way.

According to news networks, Japan is in a 'deflationary spiral' and they're doing that thing of painting deflation as a horrible thing that must be avoided at all costs, but when I see some full detached houses going for less than a flat in the UK I seriously question whether it really is as bad a thing as they claim.

Sorry, I'm being too nice, I never believed that bullshit in the first place.
3788  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Saudi Prince carjacked, Robbed of $335k in Paris on: August 24, 2014, 03:22:13 PM
I am really glad that he got robbed.  Grin

The members of the Saudi Royal family are some of the most arrogant in the entire world. (It is a very large "family", with some 600,000 registered members). Every single member receives a monthly allowance (minimum of around $20,000 per year for the most distant members), while a large part of the national population remains unemployed and unable to live comfortably.

And the monthly allowance is directly proportional to the children they have. Unmarried people receives very less amount, while some one with 20-30 children can receive an allowance running in to millions of USD per year.  Grin

WTF? I never knew that, guess I'd better go and seduce a girl in the Saudi Family if I want to get rich easily LOL Tongue

To quote George Carlin "It's a big club and you ain't in it"

I think there is no courtship or seducing in Saudi Arabia all you need is to pay the dowry/mahr and also the wedding party. The dowry/mahr amount depends on the girls father. You have to pay 3 - 5 times more if she is a virgin.  Smiley

Fuck that, I'll just seduce her with my cooking.

Just make sure you don't spray paint this on anyone's actual property and stuff and we're good, I doubt anyone will give a shit if you spray this over ruined walls that are wrecks anyway.
3791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rest easy Bitcoin is a CIA NSA project - Gavin Bell gets a mention : D on: August 24, 2014, 01:43:49 PM
While it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest that Satoshi would have links to an intelligence agency of some sort, the idea of Bitcoin being a purely CIA/NSA project just doesn't add up, not least of which because it's open source which is something that these people making the accusations totally ignore. Tor browser for instance was supposedly built by the American Navy at first and ended up being re-purposed but it's one of those things where you go "Why the fuck would an intelligence agency deliberately release something that completely undermines them and their government" the only thing I could think of is if it were some kind of person like Edward Snowden who got sick of them and decided it was time for some payback.

Like most of these 'conspiracy theorists' a lot of them like to represent these governments as big unstoppable forces that are out to destroy us and of course the only way we can fight them is by hanging onto every word that we say, while completely disregarding the fact that a lot of them are incapable of sending emails without fucking it up completely.

Whatever health issues he has ,he is responsible for. He has allegedly leaked important classified information. If he is extradited back to the USA he will be given due process. He has chosen not to have his date in court. Therefore, he has to accept the consequences of his actions which has resulted in his poor health. The USA is not barbaric he would not be shot on the spot. Ask the terrorists that have been incarcerated . No sympathy just a fair trial is all he deserves.

You don't pay much attention to what's really going on around the world do you? The reason the UK police supposedly wanted him was because of rape allegations in Sweden, same reason the Swedish police want him and depending on who you listen to it's either a serious crime that women are out to get him for or the Americans made it up to try and get him held in Sweden so they could get more time to extradite him.

Also, the USA not barbaric? You still have the fucking death penalty and even on this board there are still people who seem to think that's okay.

I've had moments where I've bought altcoins and I could have easily made a couple of BTC's from nothing if I had just been patient.
3796  Other / Off-topic / Re: NASA Tests ‘Impossible’ no-fuel Quantum Space Engine – and it Actually Works on: August 23, 2014, 10:58:33 AM
It's a way of propelling a spaceship through space without the need for fuel like other traditional methods and the point is that you're completely missing people are making up any old bullshit about it instead of looking at the actual explanations of the inventor who discovered it. Consider it the same as electric car engines where you only have one moving part, it's the same sort of principle except it's been applied to space instead so that will mean less maintenance is required as well.

If you read my link as well, it's also not a theory, it's actually been tested, it's just on such a small scale people choose to dismiss it as you have.
I did read it.  And I don't dismiss it.

Your electric car analogy seems appropriate.

Electric cars have batteries that store energy.  The device in the articles also requires energy:  "The device (engine) requires an electrical power source to produce its reflecting internal microwaves but does not have any moving parts or require any reaction mass as fuel"

So, just like I said before, several times:  energy is being converted into motion.  But you still need an energy source.

Maybe you and I are in violent agreement here as opposed to some of the others in this thread that are claiming there is a new engine that gives you motion without input energy.

It does require energy to operate, that's the whole point of it generating microwaves, it's just a matter of finding a lasting power supply for it, the problem is there are morons as I've said who are confusing the issue and completely misunderstanding what It actually does. So yes, it's not frictionless and doesn't operate via dark matter or quantum physics, but in theory it should be a lot more efficient than those stupid oversized rocket fuel engines we have now, it will be a long way off before it becomes viable for proper space flight especially with the lack of funding it has but it's something very promising.

I'm still wrapping my head around the idea and researching it, but it's certainly not impossible and it doesn't break the laws of physics etc. as some stupid idiots are trying to claim, hell we might even see much smaller spaceship designs because of this thing because of how tiny it is compared to the stuff NASA creates, even if it turns out it can't be used for deep space exploration it could still be used for land based vehicles because of how it generates thrust.

Ron Paul had the right idea, take over the Republican party from within and kick out all the psychopaths that wanted world domination and get the amount of delegates needed to take over. The only problem was that in response they actively blocked any Ron Paul supporters from actually getting in, now that's happening, it's fair to say that the U.S government isn't operating under a Democracy anymore.
3799  Other / Off-topic / Re: Cheapest country in Europe to start a business on: August 22, 2014, 07:26:58 PM
Yes, but Bosnia has the bigger-than-Giza pyramids that will soon make Bosnia rich. Then everything will get expensive like the other wealthy nations.
Stopped looking at banks after hearing about Bitcoin.
Smiley

EDIT: Seems to me that Lithuania changed their regs on starting banks back when the banking industry started to get all uptight on money laundering.
Is that so? Exactly how long do you think will it take for such a poor country to excavate at least one of those completely? I've also read from scientists that the man in charge (no idea about the name) isn't professional enough and that some got damaged already. Do you think that the US or EU will ever acknowledge these pyramids? You must realize that the whole history that we're being taught is wrong then.  Wink
So I'm not going to put my bets up for Bosnia or any Balkan countries just yet.
I'm not sure how cheap it is to start a business in Monaco ( Cheesy) but I've heard that the tax is good.

Most of our recorded history is taught wrong to begin with even when we have all the facts, it's no big surprise to anybody who actually tries to study it and finds all the different perspectives governments have.
