3781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Price Prediction – Will ETH Hit $5,000 Soon? on: August 22, 2021, 08:58:19 PM
They’re burning so much ETH since the London Fork that it just seems to be powering through any potential crashes, I’d expect it to hold at this point and then soar as soon as we get any good news. 4k is possible before October
We have 1 week left and a few days remaining until the end of this month. I also think that $4k will be easy for Ethereum. There will be crashes and those normal crashes.
$5k is part of my goal but I have higher goal for Eth and it's more than the given price.
3782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you make your HODL or dump decisions? on: August 22, 2021, 11:51:04 AM
those assets selection was good as our side investment  so  no need to check price regularly like another coins. Major coins will give us more relax and our mentality will panic although market crash. For long term investment eth btc and bnb give us certainity in price and also security.
And those coins that you've mentioned, there's no need to check their prices from time to time. But it became a hobby for most of us to check the markets.
Because we're all looking out to how much we've gained and how much exactly it is that we're making for that specific day although it's just a gain that you may not want to cash out.
3783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch introduces restrictions on gambling-related links - deadline 17 Aug on: August 22, 2021, 10:46:47 AM
I guess that Twitch had a difficult choice to make as well. When they allow streamers to provide bonus codes and giveaways encouraging to start gambling, I don't know in how far they could be responsible if kids below age 18 use that stuff. They would then blame the casinos, but they could as well get into trouble if they don't perform full KYC processes even before the codes could be used and kids make deposits first. Gambling is a rough area and everyone wants to get it right. All too often do authorities get involved and crack down on streamers.
Well, for some casinos, they don't really require KYC so it's not a problem to them whether it's from a twitch streamer or someone that has just used their codes or referrals for their affiliate.
The problem is, it's out of scope already to guide check these teenagers if they've been using those codes or gambling. They're a streaming site and I guess they've resorted due to that one reason.

3785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 22, 2021, 08:57:40 AM
...snip
But what's done is already done and Ugas won, we have to accept it.  Undecided
Yeah and that's the hard part.

Regardless, Pacquiao remains the greatest boxer for Filipinos and, without a doubt, one of the best in the world. His name will live on in boxing history, and perhaps even more so in Philippine history.

Having an 8-weight division title holder in boxing history is perhaps the most difficult feat that anyone can accomplish. Manny have brought great honor to the Philippines. And, if I had to give him some advice, I would tell him not to be swayed by politics. Because all of the good things he has, such as a good family, fame, and wealth, are things he should be grateful for. He is a naturally talented boxer who is unfit to be president and should remain so.

But still, even you have lost a fight. Congrats
Yes, he's still one of the greatest boxers that we have ever seen. He has given the honor, helped a lot of people and made his life better through his entire career, and did well in terms of living.
I'm feeling his speech was like a farewell. Did anyone felt the same when he has given his speech?
3786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does it take for a game to "hook" people on: August 22, 2021, 08:23:28 AM
The play-to-earn games are now getting the interest of gamers. Remember before, they are just playing for nothing, I mean, playing all day long but no income instead they are spending money just to play without getting any return. That's why these play-to-earn platforms are gaining interest because the players are hoping to get income afterwards, which a lot of us need during this crisis. So why not enjoy the game while potentially earn something. And that will really hook these players to this gaming platform.
It is the new and becoming common game today. Although there's no gamble on it but rather than risk because it is an investment. We cannot refuse that many have been hooked to this game.
We're investing money on it and although it's different from being hooked in gambling, the same sensations happens for both players, investors and gamblers.

I saw some news about these play to earn platforms too. But are they really reliable? The world is full of gamers and while many just play to relax after work or on the weekend, many of us gamers wouldn't mind to earn some money in the meantime. I can understand that a company would pay for positive reviews or is watching ads. But will this really be a long term business model? I am always afraid to do things and in the end not get paid.
So far, we can say that only a few of these p2e are good enough. We don't know what's with the future for these games and it's also like gambling as you take the risk.
But those who have been on it are already earning so if someone gets hook on it, still DYOR.
3787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 22, 2021, 07:45:01 AM
I don't know but isn't it that Manny Pacquiao's real opponent should be Errol Spence instead of Yordenis Ugas. Though I am very much aware of Spencer's eye injury that postponed their match. Is it possible that Manny Pacquiao has been double crossed in this particulat fight?

A surprised match to Ugasis definitely a recipe of disaster for a player who doesn't even have the time to prepare before the match  Angry

Shit! I feel bad!
We all felt bad because it was supposed to be Spence but with all the last-minute changes, Manny Pacquiao doesn't have a choice but just to continue the match.
Isn't it that he has also experienced this before? but I can't remember what match was that. But what's done is already done and Ugas won, we have to accept it.  Undecided

Nearly three years that the thread has made and it's during the bear market. And while we're on the bull market this time, we don't know how long it will stay.
So that advice is still applicable and will continually be applicable to anyone that doesn't know what to do. There's a sense with those tips so to those that are confused about what to do, read the tips which will serve you as a reminder.

3790  Economy / Gambling / Re: Satellite Betting (Low Delay) on: August 21, 2021, 11:55:18 PM
As I understand this, there's always the difference for matches and you'll watch them first and bet whoever is leading to those bookies that have it listed.
Isn't this sort of taking advantage of them and as well as what other said as cheating? if they've found you out doing this, you'll unlikely to withdraw your funds and the other speculation of offering this like a scam.
3791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 21, 2021, 11:19:21 PM
Of all the big boxing matches this year, this is the fight that I really want to see I miss Pacquiao in the ring it's been two years already although not the kind of match that we expect, we all expect the Spence fight I'm still excited, Manny Pacquiao wants a big fight for his possible retirement fight but circumstances ended with this fight.

I hope one of our members can drop a link here for a free live stream to saves us all from looking for a live stream on social media
We all feel the same that didn't realized that it's been so long since his last fight against Thurman. But as for his retirement, we don't know if it is really an actual thing that he may do once this match ends.
Well, just a few hours and the fight will happen and everyone is really excited on this match especially those who bet huge.
3792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Wagerr - No limit, non-custodial betting on: August 21, 2021, 10:59:07 PM
Interesting stuff. So if someone creates an account, you provide those seeds and if the bettor losses it, he then has to create a new one and the lost account if there's a balance, there's no way to retrieve it. Just as the usual thing we do in our wallets.
Your bookie is missing boxing.
3793  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and happiness. on: August 21, 2021, 10:39:15 PM
People say money can't buy happiness. Why a lot of money if not happy, so he said. But will you really believe it? In fact, there are many things that can affect a person's happiness, and it seems that money can, without a doubt, be the determining factor.
It is true that money can affect person's happiness. What if you're the breadwinner and you don't have enough money and you've lost your job because of the pandemic?
You're really going to be angry with the situation that you are about to deal. While those people have got everything and are not problematic with money, they seem happier.

Anyone will be angry if they don't have money, happiness is of course very dependent on money, this is because all needs must be paid for with money, I live in a busy city, no one cares when I am hungry and have no money, this makes me very happy. excited when working and make my sleep time no more than 4 hours.
That's the reality, when you've got nothing, people won't care or ask you if you're hungry or if did you ate already. But if you've got tons of cash and they know you're rich.
They'll always take the opportunity to come to you and be friendly as much as they can because they know that they can take advantage of you and they may ask some favor if the time comes.
3794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to know latest bounty , airdrop program ? on: August 21, 2021, 10:19:06 PM
Can anyone suggest me some airdrop groups that update the fastest about Airdrop?
I don't have that but what I know is what has been said the same with the bounty and just go to the Bounties (Altcoins) and you'll see various of them or always check the link below:

3795  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you be able to take an additional work if required? on: August 21, 2021, 09:59:06 PM
As long as that opportunity comes and it's all good to my working ethics and schedule, I would be glad to accept it. But there are those opportunities that have to be declined because it will make you feel that you're out of place and won't make you happy.
If that's the case, if you think that it will make you unhappy better not grab that opportunity and just let someone take it.
3796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron could be next doge or ada? on: August 21, 2021, 09:38:09 PM
Tron is very old coin, still belongs to top coin in crypto field. It is heavily used to reduce transaction fee and also for fast transactions.
It has many similar qualities that doge or ada has. Even i think it has everything to Achieve success like others do but it still low by its cost.

So what do you think about this coin. It could have better future like doge, ada? Or it will be disappeared with the flow of time?
Not yet time for it to disappear. Somehow, there is a huge community that has been working on it and as well as the developer of it is still active. The marketing for this coin is very well active but this time, not that too active unlike a few years ago that most of the time, its owner has been working on it to market.
3797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is EOS dead? on: August 20, 2021, 11:51:59 PM
Not yet but from one of the high rank altcoin it went down to 29. It's been so long since I've also stopped following this project when many have been telling bad opinions about this coin.
But let's see if those developments will be made just as what others are saying. If there will be another development then it shall help it to go up but if not, then we'll see it drop some more on its rank but still the volume of it is quite high.
3798  Economy / Economics / Re: Coinbase IPO was the largest IPO in 2021. 86 billion USD valuation on: August 20, 2021, 11:29:52 PM
In relation to Coinbase, there's a good reason why we see some pumps lately.
Coinbase is buying $500 million in crypto and investing future profits into a crypto portfolio
And I think with its IPO, being valuated that much, they're contributing well to the market and having a good share to its growth. In continuation, they're likely to increase its value overtime.
3799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Poly Network hack: one of the biggest crypto heists! on: August 20, 2021, 11:06:03 PM
Another bad news and based on news from Cointelegraph that the Liquid Global exchange has now been hacked again with a sum of $80 million and it's huge that this exchange is also suspending all deposits and withdrawals, imagine how users need their funds to be very difficult to retrieve, and this is the risk when depositing funds on the exchange.

Until now hackers are still taking large amounts of money while Liquid said they are moving funds to cold wallets.

This is bad news, a series of hacking. These hackers never stop with their ill intentions of robbing millions of money from these legitimate businesses.
I hope that this is going to have the same retrieval and sending back as poly network.  Undecided
