3781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens??? on: August 24, 2021, 10:34:40 PM
Many of the new currencies are not developed, that is why price bubbles form with them.
I really do not recommend investing in the price explosion, if not waiting for it to low in prices.
While you venture to investigate your road map, partners, community, contract, holders, team and choose whether to invest, or not to invest...
Don't forget about the new coins, those that have launched recently. They're into the scene of pumping but it will all be gone quickly. That's why those investors that are trying to catch those newly launched projects.
Many of those are likely to dump because the early investors have been waiting for its launching just to dump it.
3782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: August 24, 2021, 10:07:31 PM
Casimero is very hunger for fame he believes that he's more valuable than what he's getting right now.

Seeking for more attentions and trash talking those other fighters who he believes fans think that better than him, he's trash-talking Inoue to have his chance for the fight of a lifetime.
If it is his personality, then so be it. But that type of noise he creates to take the attention of other boxers, it's also marketing for him.
Whoever thought of that strategy is doing a good job to him because that's how they take their next fight and two have been targeted, Inoue and Donaire and both of them are taking the sauce and would want him to take down and get the job already inside the ring.

That’s a good strategy especially its hard to create names in boxing if you don’t hype it so for sure Casimero knows this thing and he might want to increase his value by spreading such trash talks. Let those boxers fight, we’ve been waiting for the rematch, Inoue should fight again between this two boxer and for me Donaire still can’t handle this one, too risky for him.
They already have the name and they're already in the stardom of boxing on their own divisions. It's just Casimero is making much noise to take as many fights as he can so he can also have choices between Donaire and Inoue.
Now, there's a news that Donaire just dismisses what Casimero is doing in social media.
3783  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you decided what you want to be? on: August 24, 2021, 09:44:40 PM
That's likely the crucial age that will determine your future and mid-adult career. I've got college friends that shifted from medical to another because it is not what they want and they're still looking for what they like. With my decision, I chose to be a free with taking decisions and before doing some tough ones like shifting, I'll keep trying to like what I've started until I don't like it anymore then I'll leave. But somehow it worked for me of trying to liked it before shifting.
3784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Analysts announce the start of altcoin season on: August 24, 2021, 03:35:52 PM
It really looked like it is because it is. Just when bitcoin hits its high, then the altcoins will also have their moments for their own season. And that's exactly what we're seeing today.
But do not overjoyed because usually when it happens, they're not taking that long but we'll see if this season is different.

I hope its different since my target is still far away, we need to keep the momentum and dont fall for another bull trap.
I predict many fud will comes just in a day to resist the price and dump back our hopes...
I don't think this is another bull trap. If you're going to take a look what's the bottom of this cycle, you'll consider that this is another bull but not a trap.
Well, let us see if there will be some FUDs the upcoming days.

3787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Tether crash to $0? on: August 23, 2021, 10:12:49 PM
I don't think it will happen because $1 is already the basis for Tether so technically it wont reach up to $0 and imagine that topic was created since 2017 and four years after the price of Tether is still the same so don't think about this one because the market is getting better and we need a stable token to at least secure our funds and Tether is one of the best option for that.
Tether is unlikely to crash but there's a handful of stable coins that just lost their value. I don't know how exactly it happened but there's a chance that it can too.
Maybe not with Tether or it could be.
3788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Divi Project Achieve Mass Adoption of Cryptos? on: August 23, 2021, 09:39:32 PM
I haven't heard of any project that's made of Divi and I've been seeing this project from you guys. And if there will be a mass adoption that you generalize for cryptos.
It is unlikely that it will include divi, imho.

Maybe, they are holder of this coin. Their rank right now is not bad, #375 according to coingecko. But achieve mass adoption? I don't think so. How many companies are using this network to begin with? They don't even have the list of companies that are still utilizing their technology. From their site, it lists who they have worked with and a lot of them are exchanges, which don't count. So they have no existing list of companies that are having their network on board.
Not a holder I guess but they're probably working for them. Who knows what will be the future of this coin.
Volume is still survivable but we don't know how long that it will be like that or when it will start to increase.
3789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you make your HODL or dump decisions? on: August 23, 2021, 08:39:46 PM
Having an active team does not guarantee the survival of the coin in the long term, my advice is to immediately exchange it with a coin that has good prospects for investment in the long term, because basically big investors are more interested in investing in top coins to avoid high risks when dump
I find it good when there's an active team that works for the project and everything that it has to be. But knowing that it is an altcoin that you probably just heard of.
It is better to dump such coins and buy a better one like ethereum, bitcoin and other good top altcoins.

3791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH high gas fee on: August 23, 2021, 09:23:51 AM
ETH gas fee has become a problem for all of us. I heard that the ETH gas fee will be reduced in a few days.
Where have you heard that? but, it seems that it's decreasing and if this continues then we're all going back to normal again
Only in dreams the fees went down, yesterday i participated in a drop and the amount of gas fees i had to spend to get them is ridiculous and after not getting the confirmation even after trying to get the NFT a few times and loosing gas fees whenever i tried was crazy that i had to pull out of the auction and loosing $100 in gas fees and yet i was not able to purchase them.
Not in dreams, I actually witnessed that before the fork and that's so much better than after the fork. Well as checking the fees most of the time.
You need good timing if the fees drop then you should do your transaction by that time. The lowest that I've seen I think is 27 gwei but now, it's 53 gwei.

But sadly, its gas fees have not been reduced yet. I have not yet received any news regarding when it will be reduced.
It did.
3793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on friendly matches on: August 22, 2021, 10:33:49 PM
The fact that they are betting on friendly matches, they should know that it's different from real competition, so their approach is going to be different so in the end, they will not complain that the outcome is different from their expectation. With gambling, nothing is certain and nothing is easy for sure.
Expected outcome from betting with these friendly matches is really different from the usual matches that we bet. No complains with these matches.
You bet for it so win or lose, you've been aware of the possible outcome and heck, it's gambling, results vary even with your best analysis.
3794  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With all your assets, Investing in Bitcoin is really a madness or beneficial ? on: August 22, 2021, 10:01:49 PM
We have our own style of investing and if you think that selling everything will find yourself suitable with the lifestyle that you have to adjust, it is going to depend how you're living your life.
But just because others can invest wholly in bitcoin, are you sure that you can do that to yourself as well? Find the most suitable investing style that you can for bitcoin. There's an easier way of doing it like dollar cost averaging.
3795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Price Prediction – Will ETH Hit $5,000 Soon? on: August 22, 2021, 08:58:19 PM
They’re burning so much ETH since the London Fork that it just seems to be powering through any potential crashes, I’d expect it to hold at this point and then soar as soon as we get any good news. 4k is possible before October
We have 1 week left and a few days remaining until the end of this month. I also think that $4k will be easy for Ethereum. There will be crashes and those normal crashes.
$5k is part of my goal but I have higher goal for Eth and it's more than the given price.
3796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you make your HODL or dump decisions? on: August 22, 2021, 11:51:04 AM
those assets selection was good as our side investment  so  no need to check price regularly like another coins. Major coins will give us more relax and our mentality will panic although market crash. For long term investment eth btc and bnb give us certainity in price and also security.
And those coins that you've mentioned, there's no need to check their prices from time to time. But it became a hobby for most of us to check the markets.
Because we're all looking out to how much we've gained and how much exactly it is that we're making for that specific day although it's just a gain that you may not want to cash out.
3797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch introduces restrictions on gambling-related links - deadline 17 Aug on: August 22, 2021, 10:46:47 AM
I guess that Twitch had a difficult choice to make as well. When they allow streamers to provide bonus codes and giveaways encouraging to start gambling, I don't know in how far they could be responsible if kids below age 18 use that stuff. They would then blame the casinos, but they could as well get into trouble if they don't perform full KYC processes even before the codes could be used and kids make deposits first. Gambling is a rough area and everyone wants to get it right. All too often do authorities get involved and crack down on streamers.
Well, for some casinos, they don't really require KYC so it's not a problem to them whether it's from a twitch streamer or someone that has just used their codes or referrals for their affiliate.
The problem is, it's out of scope already to guide check these teenagers if they've been using those codes or gambling. They're a streaming site and I guess they've resorted due to that one reason.

3799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 22, 2021, 08:57:40 AM
...snip
But what's done is already done and Ugas won, we have to accept it.  Undecided
Yeah and that's the hard part.

Regardless, Pacquiao remains the greatest boxer for Filipinos and, without a doubt, one of the best in the world. His name will live on in boxing history, and perhaps even more so in Philippine history.

Having an 8-weight division title holder in boxing history is perhaps the most difficult feat that anyone can accomplish. Manny have brought great honor to the Philippines. And, if I had to give him some advice, I would tell him not to be swayed by politics. Because all of the good things he has, such as a good family, fame, and wealth, are things he should be grateful for. He is a naturally talented boxer who is unfit to be president and should remain so.

But still, even you have lost a fight. Congrats
Yes, he's still one of the greatest boxers that we have ever seen. He has given the honor, helped a lot of people and made his life better through his entire career, and did well in terms of living.
I'm feeling his speech was like a farewell. Did anyone felt the same when he has given his speech?
3800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does it take for a game to "hook" people on: August 22, 2021, 08:23:28 AM
The play-to-earn games are now getting the interest of gamers. Remember before, they are just playing for nothing, I mean, playing all day long but no income instead they are spending money just to play without getting any return. That's why these play-to-earn platforms are gaining interest because the players are hoping to get income afterwards, which a lot of us need during this crisis. So why not enjoy the game while potentially earn something. And that will really hook these players to this gaming platform.
It is the new and becoming common game today. Although there's no gamble on it but rather than risk because it is an investment. We cannot refuse that many have been hooked to this game.
We're investing money on it and although it's different from being hooked in gambling, the same sensations happens for both players, investors and gamblers.

I saw some news about these play to earn platforms too. But are they really reliable? The world is full of gamers and while many just play to relax after work or on the weekend, many of us gamers wouldn't mind to earn some money in the meantime. I can understand that a company would pay for positive reviews or is watching ads. But will this really be a long term business model? I am always afraid to do things and in the end not get paid.
So far, we can say that only a few of these p2e are good enough. We don't know what's with the future for these games and it's also like gambling as you take the risk.
But those who have been on it are already earning so if someone gets hook on it, still DYOR.
