381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC price 100 USD? on: November 18, 2017, 08:20:48 PM
It is up to 68 USD now, do you guys think it will act like bit coin cash and go up like crazy?

I do not see litecoin doing that, in fact it is probably one of the most steady coins in its growth, I do think we will see it pass 100 usd but probably not for some time yet, perhaps sometime in early or mid 2018
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BCH price on: November 17, 2017, 09:47:34 PM
why BCH price down fast after break many numbers Huh

why it rise again after back to 800$ Huh

It is just part of a common trend, something pumps too quick and inevitably crashes back down afterwards, try not to think of it in terms of crashing from 2.5k to 1k and instead consider it was only 400 usd a matter of days ago.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Favorite gaming related coin? on: November 16, 2017, 07:14:30 PM
Of all the gaming related coins out there, which is your favorite? Why?

My favourite is herocoin (PLAY), they are an esports betting company and are very professionally run, it won't ever be one to take over and make millions but I think that there's certainly a good chance of 10-20x returns for anyone investing right now (the price dropped to a bit under ICO price right now)
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Dogecoin? on: November 16, 2017, 07:12:10 PM
Which is more profitable and most preffered by the many?

There isn't much competition, bitcoin is more profitable and is used by far more people, doge actually can be useful for transferring huge amounts at a ridiculously low fee but really it's not a very worthwhile or valued coin whereas bitcoin is the top dog(e)
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoin has potential to overtake BTC as primary cryptocurrency? on: November 15, 2017, 06:27:24 PM
Which Altcoin has potential to overtake BTC as primary cryptocurrency?

I think Ethereum can dominate, but I doubt there are many other contenders that would overtake BTC. Any thought?

I would agree that ethereum certainly has the potential to do so, other than that I am not too sure of many others. Obviously some forked coin such as bitcoincash could do if they take the development in a better direction but other than that I really struggle to think of many others for now.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH - will it go lower on: November 15, 2017, 06:25:41 PM
If ETH breaks the bullish triangle around 380 - 400 $ will probably flew up to al least 500$, and as said above, we probably won's see antoher correction belov 290$.

Agreed, I think that really $300 is about the lowest eth will go now, it has been stable around that price for a long time now and I expect sooner or later we will see it break free and reach up to $400 or even $500.
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good Altcoin for longterm investment on: November 15, 2017, 01:07:44 AM
As far as proof of stake coins go, as requested I would say that ethereum is your best bet long term, with the switch over to POS it will certainly be the go to for many.
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Cash Drops From $2800 to $1300 on: November 15, 2017, 01:04:03 AM
Bitcoin Cash has fallen from $2,800 to $1,300, the global cryptocurrency exchange market has stabilized to a certain extent, with Ethereum retaining its spot as the second largest cryptocurrency behind bitcoin. While the trading volume is still exceedingly high at over $26 billion, given the major correction of Bitcoin Cash in such a short period, it seems as if the current trend of bitcoin leading the market and Ethereum being the distant second will continue in the mid-term.

I think this was always likely to happen though it would not surprise me to see bitcoin cash make another run at second spot in the near future. With the current market caps its price would only have to reach about $2000 to bring it alongside ethereum. If bitcoin doesn't resolve its problems going forward then bitcoin cash will only grow stronger.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin in 2020, win or fail? on: November 11, 2017, 05:29:59 PM
Hello guys and dogecoin believers. As we all know bitcoins price is so high that a small time earner like me can no longer afford to invest on. I am planning to invest on dogecoin and hold it for a long time however I am not certain if this is a good Idea i hope that It will be like bitcoin in 2009 which is almost for free. I want your inputs rrgarding this guys so that I could understand further what will happen to dogecoin in 2020.

Honestly I don't think dogecoin can ever become like bitcoin, if you look at its market cap it cannot grow too much already and it is such a struggle for them even if they got a good team with good development because to many it is just considered as a joke coin.
390  Other / Archival / Re: is EVERY ico a scam?? on: November 11, 2017, 05:28:35 PM
Everybody keeps on saying scam scam scam for all of these ICO's. 90% of them are crap, yes. BUT there is the 10% of them, like vector, who are absolutely not scams. They are good projects that will really help the crypto community grow and its not fair to call an ICO a scam until you have actually researched it and you are sure it is a scam.

Just my two satoshis...

I would actually say that it's a minority of ICOs that are scams, many that are just unprofessional and not thought out get labelled as scams when in fact they are not. Take ATS, they hugely messed up their bounty campaign and got labelled as a scam but in fact they are not in my opinion, they just really aren't very professional.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Dogecoin have a future? on: November 10, 2017, 03:58:45 PM
Dogecoin has been around for many years and I think it will always have a place in the crypto market but more of a collectors item than anything else, it would take something pretty drastic now to make it in to a coin which is really considered as useful for the many.
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So low market cap is better for investment? on: November 10, 2017, 03:56:59 PM
So low market cap is better for investment?
It mean we dont have huge amount of coins ready for sell?

Generally speaking low market cap is better - provided you pick a good investment, there's often a reason they're lower market caps and not many go on to reach higher market caps, those which do will offer the best returns to investors, larger market cap projects are generally safer to invest in but won't offer as large of a return.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is airdrop? on: November 09, 2017, 04:17:23 PM
what is airdrop and how do i get them?

Its like a giveaway when sometimes a new coin is made they want to give it so they introduce it for the people. You just need to make a wallet and fill in the form to recieve the coins.

You can search on the internet and on this forum for airdrops, but sometimes airdrops are scam so beware.

The one thing I've always failed to understand (perhaps you or someone else can enlighten me) is how a true airdrop can scam you? If it's a true airdrop you receive something for nothing so I do not see what the risk is.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ZEC will be 0.2 BTC but when? on: November 09, 2017, 04:15:07 PM
We are entering the new crypto bull market and just after 2x is canceled ZEC Investment Trust has launched.

https://grayscale.co/zcash-investment-trust/

We have seen more than x10 in ETC after ETC Trust. The same thing can happen in ZEC as well. I think ZEC will be one of the most bullish coins in crypto.

Current ZEC Price at 11.09.2017: 0.037 BTC ($265)

A new altcoin bull market perhaps yes, I'm sure the price will certainly boom on announcement of the trust but I would hesitate to assume it will go 10x just because ETC did, ETC is a far lower value coin than ZEC. It wouldn't surprise me to say 0.1 btc passed sometime in the next months which at current prices would make it the second most expensive coin.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Segwit2x got cancelled. What now for altcoins? on: November 08, 2017, 10:14:14 PM
You guys probably all heard by now that the Segwit2x got cancelled (for now) and there is still only one Bitcoin.

There are speculations that suggest the whales who were holding btc will eventually move to alts. What do you guys say? Will alts have stability? What alts do you guys see promising in the short term?

Logic would suggest much of the money would move back in to alts, perhaps not as quickly though as expected, it will take time for the picture to become clear an for people to understand the change before we see real adjustments in the market.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: omg or qtum 2018 on: November 08, 2017, 10:12:59 PM
I think OMG have already had more success breaking through in to the global market and will continue to do so, therefore if I had to choose between the two then that would be my pick, however as many have said I would invest in both in some ratio.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A newbie just killed Ethereum on: November 07, 2017, 10:16:15 PM
In regards to everyone saying ETH is going to dive because of this, how so. The coins were not stolen from my understanding, so they wont be sold they are just lost. So it should really bring the value up, unless people are afraid of this for some reason

If a central bank suddenly had many millions of their dollars disappear, people wouldn't suddenly be happy and certainly the value of their currency would not increase, people are fearful that such a thing can happen again. Same with ETH.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you buying altcoins on: November 05, 2017, 09:31:18 PM
I'm accumulating some alt-coins yes, do not forget the rule is buy low sell high, altcoins are certainly low right now so it's a great time to pick some up and hope to profit.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of DogeCoin on: November 04, 2017, 02:45:33 PM
Yesterday one of my friend sent me some dogecoins, so out of curiosity i started digging information about how this coin work and how it is different from others as it is my first interaction with this Crypto-asset.

I found some interesting information regarding how it's origin is based on a popular internet meme and it's community active participation in various charity works and even in helping their fellow mates who lost their dogecoins in a cyberattack through various crowdfunding efforts, which is indeed appreciable.

If we specifically talk about speed of transactions - i have to say dogecoin is indeed fast. But the thing which caught my attention is there is no limit to its suppy, which means it is present in infinite amount.

Till today more than 100 billion dogecoins are in circulation. With as of today Oct-23-2017 , 1 DOGE =   $0.00101075 .
We have been taught about price-supply-demand things in school , in simple terms a price of an asset will depend on demand in market and its suppy - if supply of an asset is more than demand price falls and if supply is less and demand in market is more then price of an asset increases. So we can relate this to the continous BTC price increase as demand for bitcoin is more and supply is limited which increases it's value.
Comming to the fact that dogecoins have no limit of supply i hardly think it can ever become an investment asset or a stable currency ever. I see some people on twitter who are investing in alt coins see it as an long investment on which i completely disagree.

If we want to see doge coin really succeed , here are my views what the developers should seriously take note of:

1. Limit its Supply:

More than 100 billion doge coins are in circulation with market cap of approx. USD 13.5 MIL . 100 billion is a big number and it's always increasing so unless community decide to limit it , i donot think it can attain any significant value in longterm.

2. Ok if we limit it - what will we do with existing coins?:

Solution to above problem is quite simple. We just need to publish a new Crypto-token or currency which will derive it's value from previous currency in circulation. For Ex: Let the new currency be called Super Dogecoin denoted by S-DOGE. As per our convenience we can set it's base value like 1 S-DOGE could be equal to 1000 or 10K or say even 100k DOGEs . So not just it will decrease the numbers of coin but will also hold significant value. And this new currency could also be listed to the exchange if needed.
Thank you.

Limiting supply is a welcome suggestion and would probably work to increase the value but I have to say your second suggestion is completely redundant, you are basically moving the decimal point a few places, it would not change anything with regards to the price or market cap.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Manage Airdrops? on: November 04, 2017, 02:43:32 PM
Hi All,

Quick question from newbie. How do you manage your airdrops? Did you sell it immediately? Do you sell half of it? Or just hold it until reach big exchanges?

Your answer is highly appreciated. Thank you.

It depends entirely coin to coin but overall most coins I aim to sell some initially if the value is good and hold a portion until it reaches bigger exchanges or until certain landmarks in their roadmap are achieved.
