Anyone trying to get robbed by Bitmain, now is your chance.
Just throw your money down the hole and you'll never hear from them again. What a deal!
I would strongly advise against doing business with them, but I noticed that miner was available while checking up on my order (still marked 'Unpaid' after two months), so I thought I'd pass that along to anyone interested.

NEO is getting pumped now, probably Wu again.
Because miners are realizing that its more profitable at the moment to mine BCH. Investors are realizing that the 8mb size is actually working. And 90% of the hash rate is run by ONE organization which makes it easier to P and D.
No way, this is blatant market manipulation. Get on the exchanges and watch, it's flagrant. Wu is sitting there on a giant pile of money shoveling it onto the BCC.

Can anyone please give a sensible argument on why Bitcoin Cash is going up so much right now? Ita 70% up the last time i checked on Coinmarketcap.
Watch the BCC market on Bittrex, you can watch them pump it up (probably make some money if you jump on for the ride too, but don't get caught during the dumps). Every minute or so someone buys all open offers at almost any price. Then every other minute or so, someone else (or the same person as earlier) comes along and sells to all open bids, again with pretty much total disregard for the price requested. It either crashed Bittrex or they just shut it down because of market instability, the dump cycle went from 0.2 BTC per BCC -> 0.15 BTC per BCC in less than a minute.

Aahhhaha, this is the biggest bullshit rumour ever. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Yep. Scammers come up with a new one every minute, that's why I was asking about it.
Hey I agree, it does not sound real.
That's why I created this thread and labeled it 'RUMOR', not 'OMG NEW AMAZING WOW'
Talk is cheap so time will tell.
The previous escalation of hash power per new version of Bitmain miner would seem to indicate that 14 -> 75 Th/s is... an extremely big jump but not entirely outside of the realm of possibility. S5 -> S7 = 410% increase, S7 -> S9 = 300% increase, S9 -> "Bigfoot" = 500% increase.
So it doesn't seem completely impossible. Also, they're about due for a new model, based on previous release schedules.
Allegedly, a Bitmain rep offering to sell me one because my order for an S9 got screwed up and apparently they won't be making any more S9's. It all sounds very fishy to me, but that was obvious as soon as Bitmain was involved.
Yeah, yeah, keep up the lies jack-off. No soup for you (i.e. ignore) dufus.
What lies? Fact: People with high hash rate miners pay roughly 0.9% on Kano's pool. Fact: People with low hash rate miners pay up to 100% on Kano's pool Fact: To date, Kano has failed to pay out over $72,000 USD in BTC 'dust' payments.
Sure BUY ONE. You of all people deserve their scam.
Hey at least I'm not subsidizing my 'low mining rates' by ripping off dust miners. It's become abundantly clear why people on Kano's pool defend the theft of other peoples money... he's buying you off with it!

Anyone heard about this yet? Is it real?
75 Th/s - 1200w - $3000 USD

Well 'Tina' might be legit, she seems to know things about my order, and has confirmed than any new or modified orders she helps me with will only be handled through the Bitmain website, not directly to her wallet etc.
So that's good enough for me.
Looks like I might be getting my hands on some new ultra-ridiculous S9 they're releasing soon because they don't have any more S9's to sell me from the batch I ordered originally. W00t.
If you want to buy go direct to the bitman page Is better and safer and these people using gmail I think they are all scammers
Yes I tried that and Bitmain took my money, has not confirmed my order as paid (even though it's been about two months now) but did send me proof they received the money. Basically they confirmed they robbed me. So now I don't know what to think.

These miners are expensive hardware. I recommend taking all possible precautionary measures when paying for orders. Always communicate via the company's official channels. Contacting them directly on their website ensures you are dealing with them directly.
If you are contacted out of the blue by someone with a non-bitmain email address, then verify first with the company if that person is genuinely affiliated with them. These miners are extremely costly so one fatal mistake means you lose thousands of dollars and the scammer effortlessly gains a cash windfall.
Yes I agree with everything you've said, thanks. I have opened a support request thread on this matter on their site and told 'Tina' that before I will take any financial action I need her to verify her status as a Bitmain representative.
"Tina" has contacted me as well with a slightly different email address ("seller" instead of "sell") but otherwise the same message. "She" is now offering to help correct an order I have with Bitmain that has gone bad, but the gmail account is very questionable.
OP, how did this work out for you?

You can make a self-moderated thread but everyone will see it's self-moderated (and some users will probably avoid it out of principle).
I find myself leaning this direction now, after experiencing the self-moderated threads a bit. Suggestion: What if commercial interests were prohibited from being self moderated? I think that would cut down somewhat on people utilizing that control in negative scammy ways.

Ohio.
I have a bunch of Versa Valve stuff too.
Wow, if that is true and someone can prove it that would be some fucked up shit.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1576941.msg16012347#msg16012347From what I can tell in that post, the poster is saying they received an allegedly 'new' unit where stickers on one of the boards had been scribbled over and it looks like some of the board stickers had other stickers hap-hazardly applied. Looks like a return to me. And that was the only bad board in the unit, and the only one with those markings, allegedly.

Also it seems that their hardware is better built. I'm very disappointed how quickly S9 controllers are dying Yeah I've heard upwards of 30% or more of anything Bitmain ships is faulty, and when you contact them about fixing it, they have you ship it back to them so they can tell you it got damaged in transit, can't be fixed, will be destroyed at your expense etc etc. I think they may have some corrupt employees basically swapping the boards from jacked up returns for ones from outgoing new orders, so they end up with new miners and far away losers end up getting screwed.

I'll probably get censored for saying this, but maybe next time hedge your bets and buy a Canaan miner as well.
Yeah that's the plan. At this point I'm kinda wary to have anything to do with China, period. But I haven't heard nearly as much about Canaan as I see about Bitmain everywhere, maybe it's not as bad. I wish Spondoolies was still around. I have an SP30 now and it's doing pretty good. The only reason Bitmain ever 'found my money' was I basically begged the Spondoolies folks (now employees of Bitmain) for help and they made a call for me.

This is how it feels like to get bent over by Bitmain. Jihan Wu going in dry! Ouch!
Yeah, they should change their name to NO LUBE Technologies.
