I think this is a brilliant initiative on paper. Being a science nut, I really hope this can change the landscape of the science world. Too many "professors" out there writing fringe-science articles that never get quotations but still receive funding. I wish you all the best and will be following closely.  There are some who doesnt get enough recognition since they can afford to do expensive tests of their theories. On the other hand, a lot of money given to science goes to waste so scientificcoin will be a perfect balance to recognize projects with potential. |

It would be good for the team to target partners even those not into crypto investment. Like mainstream business partners
I think its little early to get partners form outside of crypto. I mean it would be great but its probably hard to get them and it would be better to put that effort to finding some partners in crypto first. |

Not on centralized exchanges. I haven't checked if it is on Forkdelta already. I don't think they've distributed the tokens yet The token will be tradeable in 2019 I think and for now the only way to buy the token is just through their token sale only. I hope when time will comes it would be a good listing - many projects neglect this, run token at exchange with small volumes, and as a result this token is depreciated, I hope EHF team can agree with good exchange. As what any crypto enthusiasts is experiencing lately was that anything is possible in crypto and we can't deny it. Hopefully we can have the chance to ride this when it takes off. There is a high chance this goes big when it will come to exchanges, i am sure by then crypto will settle and stop dropping so hard like it has been for the last few months. |

funding raised through ScientificCoin pays 5% of the amount collected, that is a bit too high for a platform. people can raise funding for scientific research via ETH
But that 5 % goes back to token holders as annual interest so users can get part of their invested money back in case projects will not bring any money otherwise. |

in fact they had said release of the mvp before the pre ico but I do not think that now they will make it, it was announced also the release of a list of investors and partnerships but still nothing, waiting...
If they don't fulfill what they promised, investors can turn against them. I hope they can meet expectations, and finally fulfill the promise. Against them? Is it possible for investors to return? their money is in the hands of the developers, they can't do anything. Yes, but investors who planned to invest in their ICO can lose confidence and change their mind if they don't keep their promise. I think they know this quite well and if they dont do all those things, they will for sure collect less money as they would. I really hope everything goes trough before pre ICO. |

Platform with a good concept seems a pretty idea especially when education is involve because due to the increased of populations it is really hard to handle when the system is still in a traditional way.
You are right, this platform will give opportunity to promote scientific projects in those countries where the government does not allocate funding for this. i also believe that this platform gives an excellent opportunity to valid scientific projects that otherwise would have no way to go on due to lack of funds, in our days is difficult to get funds, i hope this project gives an opportunity to many scientific startups... It will be great for under the radar projects but on the other hand, it will be very difficult to persuade investors to give their money to some unknown teams with little credentials. I hope there will be some way of authentication. |

Yes, if im not mistaken, they will migrate to their own blockchain later when its gonna be ready. There are a lot of projects doing it like this or at least planing to do it. I believe having your own blockchain has a lot of benefit so i think they did the right decision. |

in fact there are all the premises for a successful project, the innovative /winning idea, the very active team on the telegram channel, a good advertising campaign, just hope the market will also help by stabilize himself on acceptable values...
Right now, advertising plays a crucial role because there are so many projects out there, yours really needs to stand out if you want to be seen and Vidy is doing really a great job with their social media team. You are right, advertising - engine of any business - only question is whether the team will be able to realize all points of the roadmap. In addition, time is not the best for ICO - cryptomarket is slowly but surely loses capitalization. Yes, this time isn't good for ICO project since the market keeping down. Idk when this bad trend will be over so we can see the passion in crypto again. Doing good during downtrend is better than good ico during high times... imo It would be good for investors if they don't raise much money i nthis bear market. I think the soft cap has been reached thanks to the private investors. So the most importsnt thing is behind them - reaching the soft cap. However, I would still wait for the proof before investing in Vidy myself, just to be on the cautious side. |

If I am not mistakenly read, the pre ico stage 2 will be at September this year. And as I see the market is in the downtrend right now. Wish this current condition won't affect the purchasing power of the investors.
How was the pre ico stage 1, or is it private information ? I dont see any updates from the team regarding this and frankly, its near to impossible right now to reach hard cap where hyped ICO's are just touching the soft cap. They could postpone the sale. No need to do it at the height of the downtrend. But the first stage of the salw is starting in September or in October if I remember correctly? There's still time till then, maybe the market will come around. |

Will the project be developed in Russia?
There are many team members from russia, but where the headqurter is located I dont know. There's an address of the company, probably the HQ, in the footer of the whitepaper which is in Russia: Scientificcoin LLC Akad. Lavrentieva ave. 6/1, 704, Novosibirsk, Russia That probably means that most of the project that will be funded will be from Russia in the beginning, which is a good news because Russia is one of the leading countries when it comes to science projects. This project has a lot of potential because it allows ordinary individual to be a stakeholder in a scientific endeavor and become its investor which is quite difficult to attain these days. If the project can attract many like minded individuals who likes to invest in scientific projects, then it will be very good for this project. Imho. People don't usually discuss scientific projects over a cup of tea or don't share news about them in the social media, but it doesn't mean such projects do not exist. Science is moving forward with an astonishing speed, things that were not possible 20 or even 10 years ago are possible now, so do not underestimate it. Certainly, of course we only know about such projects after their patents and legal requirements are met, but the scientific community works quietly, and we only see something realized after putting it into practice, but this is about to change, and maybe it will enable us to have good participation on this agreed, any new way to brings projects to light is a good thing. Don't know but probably there are a lot of good ideas and research projects out there that can't be realised because they lack the money. This platform can help these scientists to get the funding they need. like some scientist who wants to develop nuclear energy for free electricity ? But I think that some of the projects like your example about free electricity don't get realised for other reasons than lack of funding, because they are not economically efficient for our governments. But many many more lack funding. I hope that scientificcoin platform will attempt to solve this problem by bringing together different interested parties. |

Thats right, telegram seems to be their main communication channel. But I still would appreciate if the team were also active in the thread from time to time.
That's why they post their telegram invitation link over here instead of news  . Maybe because many many noobs look at the number of people who joined the telegram channel to choose if to invest or not, yes I'm serious I think Telegram is more appealing to hobby investors who don't want to know much details but to each their own. I don't really know how it's working out for them, because you need to spend a lot of time in telegram in order to find relevant information, unless those people really base their investment decisions on how many people a project has in their telegram group. |
