381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin used to finance ISIS. Governments to step in on: November 24, 2017, 05:42:35 AM
The key value proposition of Bitcoin is becoming clearer.

ISIS, and similar groups, are using it to fund their activities.

This is one of the key reasons why governments will step in and force regulation on Bitcoin and all other cryptocurrencies.

https://www.cfr.org/article/bitcoin-bombs

Well, why weren't governments stepping in when ISIS was using the US Dollar or oil to fund their operations?

They did. Its called freezing assets and using drone strikes
382  Other / Off-topic / Bitcoin is like heroin on: November 24, 2017, 05:41:07 AM
Just like heroin or crack cocaine, it creates an addiction.

Same as was gambling

Many in here seem to have been caught up in it, spending far too much of their money on something. Partially to get the dopamine rush of buying more coin, and partially to satisfy their gambling lust hoping to score big.

It is no different than the people gambling their savings away on the roulette. Right now we are at the point where they have entered the casino and have been lucky, so they are up more money than they came. But instead of quitting while they are ahead they genuinely believe that their luck continues.

In the end it ends bad.

Why the hell you are here freightjoe? You are just creating a lot of FUD threads which i see you cannot support or defend

Sorry to say, but all my points have been on the mark, and no one in here have been able to disprove them. All you do in here is cry "FUD" which seemingly is the feeble hope you are clinging to in order not to realize the crash that is coming

No. You are missing it and you are messing with this forum. All you do in here is cry " BITCOIN IS BAD, BITCOIN IS EVIL, BITCOIN IS NOT REAL" when this forum is all Bitcoin, If you hate bitcoin leave and stop spamming the thread with your useless argument, with that level of understanding you got? you think you can sway away people here? I don't think so. Not that easy.

You think FIAT is not used on financing ISIS? Guess what! IT DID!, oh no, but hey GUESS WHAT AGAIN... YOU CREATED A THREAD SAYING BITCOIN=FIAT!. Ow woahh! Should I listen to you again? NO. Should I waste my time to a senseless person like you? NO.

Let's stick to facts here. Where have I written that "Bitcoin is bad", "Bitcoin is evil" or "Bitcoin is not real" ? You are merely making this up. Again I am purely mentioning facts and analysis that you emotionally do not like, but clearly are unable to refute. Instead you switch to lying and shouting.

I have never said that Fiat did not finance ISIS - again a lie from you to cloud the truth.

Try with real arguments if you have any

You didn't? Seems that you can't even remember your bs from one page ago...

I am not happy if the government allows ISIS entry in the crypto world, will have an impact on bitcoin.

I thought most of the IS is supported by some rich Arabs, they do not use the Bitcoin.

ISIS uses FIAT money like USD EUR and such.

Once more you are off the mark: https://www.cfr.org/article/bitcoin-bombs

Clearly you can't read. YOu posting to my quote is exactly what I just said. I have never said that Fiat did not finance ISIS - again a lie from you to cloud the truth.

384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / India and Russia ban Bitcoin on: November 24, 2017, 04:40:13 AM
Following many smaller countries that have recently banned Bitcoin, we are now into the end game.

India is banning Bitcoin : https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/markets/stocks/news/war-on-bitcoin-govt-panel-seeks-crackdown-on-crypto-currency-dealers-in-india/articleshow/61450361.cms

385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Create free Bitcoins on: November 23, 2017, 03:00:52 PM

Just like I love to buy original Adidas or Nike staff and not the shit counterfeit products, I guess the market would never approve a counterfeit coin.

Plain wrong. Counterfeit goods are a major loss of revenue to the brand names - just as alt coins will seriously undermine the value of Bitcoin
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Create free Bitcoins on: November 23, 2017, 02:48:33 PM
Want to get a million Bitcoin ? That is easy.

Create your own alt coin using a free service such as Wallet Builder ( https://www.walletbuilders.com/ )

Give you coin the name "Bitcoin"

Can you really do that?

Yes you can, because Bitcoin failed to get trademark protection ( http://www.newsbtc.com/2015/03/03/us-application-bitcoin-trademark-turned/ )

So if you want a 1 million - or a billion - Bitcoin, just go ahead
387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin anonymity broken. You have to pay tax on: November 23, 2017, 02:25:02 PM
I know right, this is so annoying. Paying tax in whatever way possible, trying to get our money. Sad Looking from IRS's perspective though, it is only fair to implement this tax, especially to rich investors who can abuse Bitcoin if without tax to evade it, which harms the country. I do agree that this breaks anonymity, which defeats the purpose, unless you go full anonymous and spend things online without a trace, and don't withdraw it.

Please tell how rich investors can abuse Bitcoin?
388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Happens to Bitcoin After All 21 Million are Mined? on: November 23, 2017, 02:09:38 PM
We know that only 21 million Bitcoins can be mined in total. What next Huh

It will fork and make another 21 million...and another....and another
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China to launch Wechat coin on: November 23, 2017, 02:07:40 PM
WeChat is so popular in China that I'm certain it will be quickly adapted. Why China is interested in creating Blockchain based currency? It's quite interesting because Chinese government wants to have a full control of their residents' lives. Will Chinese Elite be the only one who can mine their new coin? Poor people won't benefit from this.

How quickly do you think it will be adopted?
390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin anonymity broken. You have to pay tax on: November 23, 2017, 02:06:44 PM
The IRS has broken Bitcoin anonymity.

Apart from the obvious impact on criminals, this also means that all Bitcoin investors will be forced to pay taxes of their earnings. And be fined for past Bitcoin earnings they have not reported.

391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It advisable to quit my present job for bitcoin? on: November 23, 2017, 01:51:53 PM
Bitcoin trading these days has become so rucreative that I am tempted to quit my present job which is not giving me enough time to explore more out of bitcoin world...

What's your take on this, should I go ahead and quit?

Thanks

That would be immensely irresponsible
392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon has it. Tesla has it. Apple had it. on: November 23, 2017, 01:43:52 PM

Do you understand Bit Torrent? Do you understand Linux? Do you understand decentralization at all?

Yes, yes and yes, but clearly your understanding, Scotty boy, will - at best - be limited to techno issues.

But this is not about technology. This is about economics and social structures where the Bitcoin experiment is already unravelling - Roger Ver is only the beginning of the unravelling, you will see more and more such splintering and more internal civil wars as the techno-types in Bitcoin are increasingly marginalized and the greedy finance types look to cash in on it

Nope, I understand everything just fine. I most clearly understand your lame crusade to spam the board and get your ass handed to you at every turn. Hey, whatever floats your boat and you're so-called limited time that you're not man enough to address.

What exactly is it that I have not provided fact for in terms of Bitcoin's issues? Which facts is that you haven't understood Scotty Boy?
393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth to pay $8200 for 1 BTC if you are a newbie? on: November 23, 2017, 01:40:21 PM
Is bitcoin still a good investment for newbies? Is it worth to pay almost $8200 for 1 BTC today?

No. You should buy hummus instead
394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you OK with Bitcoin being called a token? on: November 23, 2017, 01:39:12 PM
You should just call it an alt coin
395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin = Fiat on: November 23, 2017, 01:38:21 PM
It has a limit unlike fiat.
Therefore it gets valuable as it gets lower and lower in the market.
The rarity of one product makes the price go soaring to the highest amount.

Wrong

Just because something is limited does not mean it gets valuable.

There is a limited amount nuclear waste in the world, that does not mean it is getting more valuable

There is no unraveling and BTC's only minor threat is Roger and his minions.

But there you have it - just mention Bitcoin Cash and Roger Ver in here and people fly into a frenzy, clearly unravelling
397  Economy / Economics / US to issue new dollar bills on: November 23, 2017, 01:34:19 PM
The US treasure will issue new dollar bills, but that will be called "alt Dollar".

But do not worry, because they have called it "alt Dollar" instead of the normal dollar, it will not change the value of dollar. The amount of Dollar in the world is unchanged and will maintain it value.

The above would clearly be an absolute wrong conclusion. Of course the dollar would be subject to inflation in this scenario. Of course it does not matter that the US treasure calls it an "alt Dollar", it is still the same ting. Of course the amount of Dollar in the world increases this way even if it is insisted it has a new name.

The argument is exactly the same for Bitcoin.

It is completely irrellevant what name an alt coin gets after a fork. It is still a Bitcoin, it will still cause inflation and undermine the value of Bitcoin. In reality the amount of Bitcoin increases no matter how much people cling to the wording that "it is an alt coin".

398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China to launch Wechat coin on: November 23, 2017, 01:30:01 PM

Not stomping my feet... just pointing out what an idiot you are. I'd wager that I'm either older than you or close to the same age, so nice try.
I am quite comfortable in life and will leave it at that.

Scotty boy, more stomping of feet. How very mature of you.

If you are so comfortable, then why the need to constantly stomp your feet? Clearly you display the typical insecurity about your choices that is often seen in adolescents which often manifests itself in the need to constantly reassure an audience that you are happy with your choices.

You have the lack of maturation...lol. I'm showing that I am not unlike the others you claim to be helping...I'm just fine. Keep deflecting, though. The only adolescent behavior I see is you crying from the rooftops at every turn and personal attacks on other posters. Bravo! Thanks for reinforcing my points in public. Tired of the same old boring rebuttal, yet. That seems to be your one trick pony show.

Scotty boy, you do it again. No facts and no arguments. You merely take what I write and say "no, you too". Does not seem to be the behaviour of an adolescent, but more that of a toddler.

I am still waiting for a single shred of fact or evidence to refute my solid analysis from you.

That's all he is...shill and FUDster. People are cashing out as they see fit for their situation and enjoying their profits. He's stuck trying every angle he can find, which has to be quite limited time that he supposedly has. lol

He clearly has no understanding of how the treasury departments of the nations fighting terrorism work.

Again no arguments from Scotty boy, only guesswork as to other people's motivations. I stick with showing facts and since you do not like the facts, you clearly just become emotional and angry.

I am still waiting for any facts from you refuting my solid analysis
