What's happening is not a bubble bursting. It's just that the price movement is volatile that is why there are many reasons why the crypto market is currently in a downfall. Those people with weak hands got panicked easily and sold off their holdings upon seeing a massive sell-off from yesterday. Mt Gox could be haunting the market until September 2018 and there are FUDs all over the news as well. Crypto currencies has a bright future ahead which can be utilized in many aspects.

Read the whitepaper and understand it. Know their roadmap and the milestones being achieved. The dev and support team must be active and check their background if available. The community is important as well, join them and observe the behavior of the people. The case use in real world is important as well, they should be innovative, future proof, and can adapt to change. Always check the price in exchanges as well, whether it's just pump and dump or good for holding long term.

You may want to check out DIGIWAGE. Setting up master node and staking are both profitable and I believe it has the potential to have a break out in price in the near future. Definitely this is the time to buy. The long consolidation period we're experiencing could be a preparation for another bull run within Q4 of 2018. But for short term trading, we must be cautious in catching falling knives because it could cause massive bloodbath. My advice is to accumulate as much as you can using cost averaging method and then set your own target price and when to take profit.

WAVES wouldn't be killing ETH anytime soon. In terms of the technology behind both coins, they are both innovative on their own ways. It will all just depend on the adaption of the masses and businesses that will utilize their coin of choice. For long term, both coins are good to accumulate and hold in my portfolio.

There are too many reasons why the crypto currency world is heading another bearish trend. The short uptrend from last week will always result to profit taking by some institutional and professional investors. There's Mt Gox as well probably unloading some of their holdings. Also, FUDs have gathered again on news' headlines. This clearly shows how volatile the crypto market is. As for me, it's time to accumulate more BTC and alts that are currently on sale.

DIGIWAGE is one of the best performing coins in my portfolio. The rewards from both master node and staking are so far, profitable and very good if you want something like a passive income in crypto world. We may be able to witness ETH to reach the price of $2k and beyond by Q4 of 2018. Many coins will be determined by that time if we base it on the previous years' trend. Many sectors in administration, logistics, healthcare, etc. are considering crypto currencies and I think they are most likely attracted with utilization of ETH in their businesses.

For me, I think the best altcoins to keep for long term are those who have innovative case use projects. Try researching about master nodes and POS coins. I highly suggest to invest in something you really understand and can keep track of. The coins that I would recommend for you to make your own research are: BUZZ, MAG, GRFT, WAGE and MONK.

We still need more confirmations before saying that we are in a ride for another bull run. Mt Gox haven't unloaded most of their holdings yet and I guess we will still continue to see another dip around the corner in the near future. The sideways movement to a gradual uptrend of crypto price is much better than a sudden parabolic rise.

They are gradually reaching milestones on their road map to achieve their goals. The dev and its core team are working very hard every single day to develop this coin. The recent breakthrough with VeriFone could be the reason for its recent price breakout.

It is still a long way before we reach Q3 of this year. There will be more ups and downs on the road within the next few months before we reach Q3. There could even be lower dip than $6k. But, I could be wrong, we are currently seeing a strong support at $9k level and I am hoping for BTC to sustain that price level. There is another issue in for BTC, Mt. Gox has not released the Kraken yet.

This is a golden opportunity for BTC, all indicators are somehow leading to a buy signal currently. The news are looking good as well for the future development and adaption of BTC. But, be cautious when trading short-term during this consolidation period in the market. There are institutional investors and professional traders discreetly buying in chunks to set traps along the way to an uptrend.

To make money from staking, you have to make your own research about the POS coin's team, development, case use, ROI, performance, community, and more. You got to have discipline and patience when you are staking coins, earning thru compound interest. I think the most profitable staking coins now are: MAG, MONK, and WAGE.

I have been investing in crypto currencies since August 2017. So far, in my 9 months of experience with crypto currencies, I have already preserved my capital and still investing for long term thru cost averaging method. I am taking profit from time to time upon reaching the goals I set but not selling all of it. I buy more than the average cost usually whenever there's a dip. Investment is like planting a seed, nourish it, take care of it, reap profit, then plant it again.

The OP's story is very inspiring. As for me, I dedicate my work to my future self to be able to sustain and adapt in this ever evolving society and to live a happy life in the future with my family. I am doing the best I can right now while I still have the ability to process all the learning and new information. I study what I want to learn and apply what I have learned in investment and other aspects of becoming successful in the future.

I will continue to accumulate the crypto currencies in my portfolio and maintain as much as less than 10 coins as possible. Having too many coins to check and see if the price goes up or down is not that sustainable for me because of my day job and it is too stressful. The main coins that I will continue to accumulate by cost averaging method and hold until I reach my target price are: BTC, ETH, LTC, DOGE, MONK, MAG, BUZZ, WAGE, WAVES, and XVG.

Nobody will ever know the outcome in the near future. But, if you would be analyzing the trend and history of the market, it is usually a long consolidation period during the start of the year until Q3 before any significant price increase. Personally, for long term, I think the market will soon recover, it's just fueling up before another bullish run.

If you would consider the old adage, Murphy's law being in play which stated as: "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong", there would be a possibility of the crypto currency market to fall into the abyss. Whatever happens, we should all be prepared and have a decision ready in any situation. In this volatile market, it is important to have a strategy and goal to make profit from the market.

There are many ways to earn rewards for holding coins.
