381  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN bounce back to $20k in 2018? on: March 17, 2018, 05:54:31 PM
During the latter part of 2017,I advised a friend to invest inBTC.He adhered to it and bought some good amount..He then proceeded to buy more when it hit the range 18k-20k..He is now upset due to how market is reacting...Anybody here to give an expect advice?
i think  bitcoin will bounce back but no guarantee it will again 18-20k.
the problem is why your friend is upset is your wrong in advice maybe you didn't mention what risk investing in bitcoin.

Looking at the present situation, it is very difficult to persuade myself that Bitcoin will grow much again, but I do hope for it. I suppose the time, when the market will start growing is already coming to us.
382  Economy / Economics / Re: Will countries or central banks create their own cryptocurrency? on: March 17, 2018, 05:45:37 PM

A few countries and central banks have been talking about “digital currency”, and most of them are carefully ignoring the term “crypto”. Fact is- digital currency is not the same as cryptocurrency. These countries/central banks are recognizing the benefits of the digital currency features of cryptocurrency, but they don’t want any of the decentralized uncertainties that come with blockchain-based currencies.
Will countries or central banks create their own cryptocurrency?

Already, some countries are creating their own crypto currency, but it does not have such huge success as bitcoin or other promising altcoins. I think from this venture it will not work out anything good.
383  Economy / Speculation / Re: do you think bitcoin will go back to 6000? should i sell now? on: March 17, 2018, 05:43:18 PM
To 6K? Give it a few weeks.

You are a pessimist, or probably have made some special calculations that we do not know about. It is absolutely impossible to foresee its price, thus, we cannot know it.
384  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin bubble 'just about to burst,' major money manager says on: March 17, 2018, 05:41:11 PM
Blockchain had proved itself to be the best technology that government are trying to come up systems to use it. its been more than 5 years and its price tank to $19K. Yes last year bubbled up but they'd have to analyze it again when after 5 more years they'd see the price goes more than $30K. But then of course they still will look at it as bubble - everything is a bubble to them.

It will be very difficult to let this so-called bubble burst. I suppose that the wisest men understood that blockchain can change the life of everybody.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help with investment choice. on: March 17, 2018, 05:36:56 PM
Hello everyone, longtime lurker but made an account to ask a question. I am looking to make a small investment in crypto but am having a hard time deciding which way to go. Im thinking either BTC, ETH, or XMR. Ive looked at google results on predictions if each but every different site seems to contradict the other. So what crypto would ypu invest cash in today?

I would not recommend you buying too many Ripple coins. Additionally, there are many other good cryptocurrencies besides Bitcoin and Ethereum. watch this video to pick the best ones:

386  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Trend Panic Sell Mar-Apr 2018 on: March 17, 2018, 05:34:44 PM
I see btc currently trending between 8000-10000. Most of the gurus were unable to predict the value of btc and some of them told it will be similar trend in march and april, even some news i heard that btc will down upto 2000$. I dont know what should i do

Your thoughts are right. Do not simply pay any attention to the guys that start this panic. Let them sell their Bitcoins if they want it, but do not do it yourself.
387  Economy / Economics / Re: Do bitcoin millonaires deserve their wealth? on: March 17, 2018, 05:33:07 PM
It is know that bitcoin has made a few millionaires, but many of these people don´t have any particular knowledge of the economy nor business. Do you think that is a fair situation?

Yes, these people were not afraid to take the risk to earn a lot of money. I know many successful businessmen who do not have a good education, but they were not afraid to take risks and earned a big profit.
388  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dividing your salary. on: March 17, 2018, 05:30:51 PM
When I see the potential of the crypto and bitcoin market. I saw that was a good opportunity for me to change my way of life, and that bitcoin and crypto changed my mind. Being aware of it is an opportunity but also a risk. I have set up a savings account with 40% of my monthly salary for investment. This is always beneficial for the right time to buy as right now.

Honestly, it never depends on the market situation. I try not to spend over 35% of my salary (and income as well)  to Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies. This business is profitable, but it is risky, thus I keep the rest of the money.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding is bullshit? on: March 16, 2018, 05:43:21 PM
if you want to hold any coins, choose it carefully, coins like BTC, ethereum can be hold for long term. if we see the current market the strategy should be HOLD, because it is gonna take long before market fully recovers

Right, coins from top-10 or even top-20 should be better held for the longer period. Smaller coins are better for short-term trading. Certainly, it all depends on the market situation. when the market is shaking, you can make day trading.
390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we help bitcoin grow? on: March 16, 2018, 05:32:40 PM
will be volatile on the future?

Certainly, it will be. you should remember that the main feature that any cryptocurrency has is its very high volatility. Bitcoin can grow when more people will support it.
391  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happen to Bitcoin? Bubble or Not? on: March 16, 2018, 05:28:55 PM
I am so worried about the price of Bitcoin now. After climbing a bit up to $11000+ start of this week it drop rapidly now to $8000+ and maybe will still go down or drop more. Is this the bubble? But I hope not. That price climb for the previous days still not enough for what I expected. Very surprising price change.

What do you think will the price of Bitcoin this March? Will it go down more below $5000? Or this is just a buying opportunity? If someone have the idea what affect the price of bitcoin. Kindly drop it here.
Or is this what makes the price to go low. Panic selling of a company of about $400 Mln worth of Bitcoin.
Source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-price-hit-2018-lows-because-of-400-mln-mtgox-sell-off-reports

Please, stop this panic - you just do the worst things for yourself. Nervous people often make mistakes. Just be more patient to wait for the BTC growth.
392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Altcoin; supporting each other? on: March 16, 2018, 05:26:49 PM
Bitcoin affect the altcoin like the people would like to use these all and those who are using bitcoin they are also participating the new ICO and they also investing in the crypto so if the bitcoin price become fall the altcoins buying some time slow with this while sometime the alts price become good many users have shifted to the altcoin as well it is true that both of the crypto have the same usage and these will grow more in the future.

If you look at the charts you will see that each time, when Bitcoin is going down, altcoins are falling as well. The same thing is going on when BTC is rising.
393  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't worry, the market will not fall forever. on: March 16, 2018, 05:23:00 PM
Amen to that. It will definitely rise again, it is just a matter of when!

Probably I will not prey, but I hope so very much that finally, the market will be strong enough to show us the coolest growth of almost all cryptocurrencies.
394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What impresses you the most about Bitcoin? on: March 16, 2018, 05:17:17 PM
I was surprised by bitcoin because when I started bitcoin I had no money but now my bitcoin earner was so big that I was in bitcoin because without bitcoin I did not have the status of my life right now.

During last time the highest volatility impresses me too much. Each time I open the charts I see the price of Bitcoin differs from the one I saw a few hours ago.
395  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to start Trading for newbie on: March 16, 2018, 05:09:03 PM
there are many tutorials on video, reliable articles here on bitcointalk and try to research a bit Smiley if you're confident enough after then why not try it

Use search system and write there your inquiry. I suppose that you will be sent to YouTube channels of the crypto bloggers and probably to our Forum that is famous already.
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use cases. What do you actually use Bitcoin for? on: March 16, 2018, 05:06:54 PM
I use it for gambling and trading

I have heard that using Bitcoin for gambling can bring good income but I never tried to do it. I  use BTC coins only for trading - it brings a lot of profit.
397  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the geomagnetic storm influence the BTC price again March 18 ??? on: March 16, 2018, 04:59:46 PM
I'm struggling to find a correlation here, and my first reaction was - do I have to wrap my computer in tinfoil?
Lol yeah, I also don't understand why a geomagnetic storm might influence bitcoin's price. From what I understand they can cause some disruption in electronic items if the storm is big enough but why would that affect bitcoin price. It might affect mining I suppose if it interferes with mining equipment and damages it.

On a more serious note, I suspect that geomagnetic storms can affect people's mood swings
I don't think so. I have never heard geomagnetic storms having any effect on humans or their behavior. They essentially only cause disruption in Earth magnetic filed, they shouldn't have any effects on humans.

Probably this storm will really affect Russians - they have the presidential elections on March, 18. However, it will have no influence on the cryptomarket.
398  Economy / Speculation / Re: what you think about bitcoin in like 5 years? on: March 16, 2018, 04:56:45 PM
I think it will be lost most of value

I think of the other way in which bitcoin will reach an all time high value. I am much thinking about its market capitalization that might reach trillions of dollars and its market price at around 100,000$.

I am not such a blind optimist (sorry, man, nothing personal). I suppose that Bitcoin will be used, but its price will be not so high as you guess here.
399  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC slumps again, is it heading for 6K or lower prices? on: March 16, 2018, 02:22:47 PM
I guess the average price of bitcoin this year would be around $6k to $14k, and if bitcoin price will go lower then for me it will touch down to $6k, and if bitcoin price will rise then it will rise not more than $14k. I am not saying that I can tell everything, this is only my prediction that I think can possibly happen this year.

I suppose that everything will be approximately like that you are writing about it here. However, I believe that Bitcoin will not fall less than 6,5K.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Exchange? on: March 16, 2018, 02:19:59 PM
I have accounts on about 6 or 7 exchanges, and mostly use either Binance and Bittrex (more recently I've started using Kucoin too). From searching around, I like the look of Huobi, seems to get quite a lot of the new coins and has decent volume, plus seems reasonably trustworthy. Are there any other exchanges worth looking at for trading lower marketcap coins that have decent liquidity? Went off Bittrex a bit, they seem to have a hard on for de-listing coins. Not looking to day-trade, but maybe swing trade. Bought into the ICO of Cobinhood and have done a few trades on there, but still not great volume.

I really like Binance. This is primarily because I occupied by using new coins. And indeed there is a huge amount of coins on the stock exchange. I work on this exchange every day. If you haven’t account here yet then make it immediately.
