Good afternoon, is VIVO resistant to ASIC's so it can be mined by both CPU's and GPU's, or does the "Hash NeoScrypt" algorithm have any blocking only for CPU's or GPU's?
It is asic-resistant, but neoscrypt is (generally) not profitable to mine with CPU. Consider it a GPU-only coin, for all intents and purposes. |

In truth, there are no issues to fix. It's working exactly as it's supposed to. It may be challenging for someone lacking in the necessary skills, but to suggest that's the coin's fault and not your own is pure fud.

I assume you're thinking of turning Vivo into a hybrid POW/POS coin. There are hybrid POW/POS+MN coins out there. Not all of them are great, though.
I don't think POS will really do anything for Vivo. I think there's a belief out there that Vivo is merely a poor man's Dash. So Vivo must become more than that - must aspire to more than that.

It sounds like it's coming out soon - as in, within the next day or a few. A lot of updates will be in it, it sounds like - including addressing the lag issue. Still not sure it will do anything to quell the fud. Haters gonna hate.

Yeah, I hate to say but if you set it up right, it works just fine. If you're not able to get it going on your own, maybe you should consider hiring a MN consultant to help you out.

I think there are probably a number of Vivo and Innova MN-holders who are dumping to buy up GoByte. Just speculation on my part, though.

I've also noticed my masternode needs to be restarted every 1 or 2 hours - it keeps getting dropped from the network.
Keep an eye on your masternode. That's weird. Once I got mine sorted on the right chain, they've been good to go. Going on 3+ days now. Mind you, I used some "connect=" lines in my confs to make sure they were only connecting to trusted nodes. Maybe give that a try. |

Thought I'd share this info from the Lux Team on Discord:
"Our Dev's tell me that they have fixed the cpu freeze issue in the wallet, and it will be updated in the next version. Also, we will be using masternode.conf in the new version instead of lux.conf that is being used in the current and older versions. We will be testing it soon and will let you know when it is ready for release. Happy Thanksgiving!"

Yes - the Xios blockchain has been forked. A solution is being worked on and we anticipate it will be released soon. In the meantime, you can check the #announcements channel in the Discord for instructions on how to get onto the "right" chain.
