381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2000$ to invest now?! on: August 02, 2018, 04:20:35 AM
hi, can suggest 2 or 3 longterm coins with good potential and team?! no ico pls.
or increase the coins in my portfolio?

my portfolio at the moment:
35% ADA
30% NEO
25% NEM
5% XVG
5% XRP
XVG and XRP will not be profitable for you. I learned about it pretty much and I think the XVG really has no potential. Besides, XRP is almost a bank. It is not something new to develop well.
So I think you should remove those 2 portfolios to put all your money into EOS or invest in 3 altcoins on your.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of altcoins? on: August 01, 2018, 02:52:56 AM
Hi,

I'm just new to this forum.
What do you think of the future of all Altcoins?

I think only the good coins will survive..
Well, bad altcoins will be eliminated soon. This is a very competitive market as more and more ICO projects are emerging.
Things get so bad if the altcoins do not have the potential to survive in this market. Reversals will occur soon and investors should not invest in a lack of thinking and analysis.
383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is Bitcoin? ✅ on: August 01, 2018, 02:48:25 AM
Bitcoin is well known for its safety. The biggest dangers are mainly hacker attacks on third party services, through which one accesses his bitcoins. These are above all the various crypto exchanges on which the users have created accounts or the bitcoins stored locally in wallets.

Basically, either the exchange itself is directly attacked, so that data can be stolen there. The biggest known incident was the hacker attack on Mt.Gox about 4 years ago, when a huge hack of Bitcoins was looted. This was also the reason for the decrease of Bitcoins 2014.

Today, the exchanges have improved to prevent such occurrences, because it can come to hacks and the trade is severely restricted or even stopped completely. This often leads to strong price fluctuations, mainly caused by so-called panic sells.

An equally large attack surface offer individual mistakes that can easily be prevented. Individual mistakes are the responsibility of individual users and are often:
- insufficiently secured user accounts due to weak passwords
- Login on a phishing site
- send the private keys to a scammer

If a stranger has once gained access to your own accounts, he can quickly transfer the entire balance to another wallet and due to the anonymity, it is no longer clearly comprehensible. For such a kind of total loss helps therefore only a careful handling with your personal user data.

But as long as you follow to the usual security rules and pay attention to secure passwords, which you should also change from time to time and do not use the same password on many other pages, an accident normally cannot happen.
The high demand and high competition between exchanges has also contributed to the improvement of safety standards.

How make you sure to safe your Bitcoins?

From my personal point of view, we should buy Ledger Nano S cold storage to store our bitcoin numbers. I feel that all trading floors have holes. We should not put our money on it, very unsafe. We should spend $ 150 to buy a cool purse Ledger so we do not have to worry about our money. The security level is very high.
384  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is going on? on: August 01, 2018, 02:45:48 AM
How are the markets a few near day? Can anybody tell me? I have been in the market for 1 month and been advised to buy BTC and ETH, but I do not understand why in coinmarketcap all coin including coin top also fell continuously breaking through the bottom. Please reassure me: ((  Cry Cry Cry
The current market is going down and it is being underestimated. I think the altcoins have their own value and blockchain technology has helped a lot for everyone in the world.
I think its present value is real and we should not doubt it. Now the market is being manipulated and we should not be too worried.
385  Economy / Economics / Re: How did Crypto help you out? on: July 31, 2018, 04:31:37 AM
This question is especially for those who have been into crypto for a long time. How did cryptocurrency help you, most specifically financially? Did you earn more? Gain more investment? I do have a friend who wants to get into crypto but he does not have a lot of savings in his bank account or any major investment. I told him to save more before getting into crypto because they still have mortgage and car loan to pay. Do you think crypto will help him out to?
On the financial side, Crypto has given me some money to pay for my living expenses and life has become better. Besides, I had more friends and got some high-paying jobs.
I feel very lucky to be in this market even though it is late.
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin in Southeast Asia be legal? on: July 31, 2018, 04:30:00 AM
Because to my knowledge there are several countries in southeast asia that have not legalized bitcoin. And what is our endeavor for bitcoin in southeast asia to be legal like any other country (which has legalized bitcoin).
Will the impact be positive or negative?
As more and more countries are legalizing Bitcoin, the Crypto market becomes more valuable and attracts many new investors. That would certainly be a positive impact.
I hope in the future, countries around the world will recognize the positive points of Crypto and legitimize it.
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Low supply coins and Ico on: July 31, 2018, 04:28:08 AM
Hello, can you suggest me some coins o ICO with a low total supply in circulation?

I think getting some of these when the price it's still low, could be a good point..

Coins with low total supply and low prices are still not sure its price is good after trading. You have a false investment philosophy. You should not look for such ICO projects, that's pointless.
You should invest more time in analyzing and deciding on serious investments in some ICO projects.
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market is moving up on: July 31, 2018, 04:25:26 AM
At this time the market is starting to move up slowly, what action?
Will sell or hold until the price goes to the moon, please give me feedback and suggestions so no missteps and losses .
Currently, the Crypto market is unpredictable, there are many risks for traders when investing at this time. So I advise you not to invest or trade in the moment. The market has changed, bitcoin increased the altcoins not increase. We need to wait for new market behavior to predict in the distant future.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why Some People Do Not get Paid After Bounty on: July 30, 2018, 03:23:08 AM
Some people are not paid after the closure because they often do not update the rules of the project and work irresponsibly.
Some people work for the signature campaign but they have very vague messages and do not seem to want to devote their knowledge to the forum and the bounty campaign they are doing. they deserve no reward.
390  Economy / Economics / Re: So many cryptocurrencies ! on: July 30, 2018, 03:20:07 AM
There are 1624 currently active cryptocurrencies and more than 100 cryptocurrencies exchanges working right now in 2018.
With so many cryptocurrencies in the market Without regulations I feel there should be some body to legalize only a few , since its not like the more the merrier!
It just increases risks of any Fraud.
Small companies often are at a risk of shutting down with so tough competition.
The reason why the percentage of market Bitcoins dominates isn't exactly because they got less investors now , it's just because with so many currencies around the globe it's getting saturated and distributed .
Only some of them would be successful like 10-20 but with this tough competition it's risking people's investments and both these small small exchanges.
I strongly believe that a regulatory body should tackle this and then make a decision.
I think is negative in it's own way.
Share your opinions below , do you think it's positive ?
I think that will not have too much influence on the capitalization market capitalization too much. This is because many of the altcoins were born before and it was completely eliminated. Unlikely altcoins will be eliminated and this will be an important announcement to long-term investors.
391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks to start trading crypto sooner on: July 30, 2018, 03:18:11 AM
Most recently, Russia's largest banks are piloting Bitcoin and Crypto.

Sberbank and Alfa-Bank will provide their clients with shares in a special fund that will trade six of the most popular electronic currencies on major exchanges, including Kraken and Bitstamp.

Sberbank, the main state bank responsible for handling government employees, and Alfa Bank, the largest private bank in the country, plan to participate in electronic money transactions with the assistance of the fund. Investment AddCapital, National Depository Center and IB Group.

The portfolio will consist of the six most popular electronic currencies, including Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, and Litecoin. The combination of the coin will be modified four times a year, and the ratio of that coin will be balanced by a trading algorithm.
That's a great sign for the cryptocurrency community. I increasingly believe that the future of cryptocurrency is bright. Undoubtedly, banks around the world are leveraging blockchain technology to enrich themselves and their partners. This will spread more and cryptocurrency will become more common worldwide.
392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you stop calling Bitcoin an investment? on: July 30, 2018, 03:15:55 AM
Can you stop calling Bitcoin an investment?

This damages the cryptocurrency. Bitcoin was not created to become an investment. Before Bitcoin, there were some digital currencies years back, the goal was always to be able to create a (digital) currency free from central banks and governments.
Cypherpunks and other anarcho-capitalists are at the origin of this idea, perhaps 20 or 30 years ago. None were intended to make an investment to be rich quickly.
You won't find in the white paper "investing" mentioned, you won't find any post from Satoshi mentioning it

Considering Bitcoin as an investment, this is the reason why we have more and more regulations, G20 summits and others craps, KYC, etc...
The word "Crypto-assets" didn't exist before, why did they create it? Because you even consider it an investment, then why shouldn't they?
Bitcoin could be a lot more accepted and used by now. Why should a merchant agree to be paid in Bitcoin? He wants money, not a piece of your investment.

You're not even investing, you are just gambling with money.
Go to the altcoins board, you will surely find plenty of ICOs where you can say you invested in. I have something for you, ICOs used to raise money are no different than "Crowdfunding". If you want to invest then there are a lot of Crowdfunding websites where you can invest in real startups with fewer risks, (you won't find any project using photos from Pixabay...)

Why don't we see cryptographers anymore? Guess the reasons
Sorry I have mixed opinions with you. I think Bitcoin should just be an investment. I'm just a businessman and want to make money in the cryptocurrency market and I totally do not understand much about technology.
So I often call bitcoin an investment because I use it to make money and have no other purpose.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Credits (CS) sincere or scam? on: July 29, 2018, 04:05:42 AM
What are your thoughts on this project?

Quite some scam accusations...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPKbbrt4P0s

There are a lot of people saying that CS is a scam and I am very confused about these ideas. Actually CS is an altcoin that has excellent functionality and processing speed in the money transfer. I thought it would not be a scam because it created a very wonderful altcoin.
I believe in the development of CS though I do not invest in them. Hopefully it will reach the top 100 of the Crypto market in the future.
394  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need advice for the new investor on: July 29, 2018, 03:50:01 AM
I would like to attention from experienced traders. I'm going to invest in Bitcoin. What is the best trend? Could you please suggest me what should I do and should not do?

NB: In our country is prohibited for the cryptocurrency.

Your better idea would be highly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance!
The current investment in Bitcoin will be a wrong decision. Because the bitcoin was pumped from 6k up to $ 8k2 in the past days. I expect it will not be pumped anymore and this is the time for the altcoins to be pumped.
In September or October, we will witness blue market and strong recovery in the altcoins.
395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think we don't get quality Bitcoin users anymore? on: July 29, 2018, 03:48:02 AM
Maybe I'm wrong but I have the feeling that with Bitcoin price growth we have got a lot of new users who are not honesty and passionate interested in Bitcoin but only in fast, instant profit and if they don't get it they got disappointed and give up. Some of them don't even bother to get some basic knowledge about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. That is also the reason why we see so much panic selling when the price dumps. Is that only my feeling or do you think that also?
I think like you. Whales know that this is an easy market. Inexperienced traders can also enter the market and they have taken advantage of the lack of knowledge of traders' investments to manipulate the market. The usefulness of manipulation in this market becomes higher and easier to make money of less knowledgeable traders.
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Become Mainstream In The Next 10 Years? on: July 29, 2018, 03:42:56 AM
According to a study conducted by researchers at Imperial College London, cryptocurrency has the potential to become a form of payment that is widely used for decades to come. In their research report entitled "Cryptocurrency: Overcoming Barriers to Trust and Adoption" Professor Imperial College London, William Knottenbelt, and Imperial College Business School Dr. Zeynup Gurguc, argue that cryptocurrency has so far acted as a store of value like a fiat currency.
I do not think that will happen. In my opinion, instability will not be overestimated in payments. Because if your store's revenue is $ 100k today. Suddenly the market went down, and your revenue was down to $ 60k. It is not something that can be worse and it makes the finances of the business become tangled.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why are you now joining cryptocurrency, where were you in 2009? on: July 24, 2018, 02:47:12 AM
When I learned about Bitcoin in early 2010, I was still just a child studying in junior high school. I totally do not understand technology because I do not have a computer at home. I can not find out about them and my family is poor.
I have absolutely no opportunity to join sooner. But I still feel lucky to have been involved in this market, even though it is late.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Just RELAX, it will be OK! on: July 24, 2018, 02:44:07 AM
Why are people panic selling right now? Scared of a little regulation? That is bull! G20? All they might do is AML prevention. If you are not laundering money, nothing will happen to you!! And we don't want money launders in our midst anyway! Chillax, it will be OK!
I agree with your point. We all know that this is the whale's way to frighten traders. I have been involved in this market for many years and this manipulation always takes place.
Many traders now do not have a solid knowledge and have no talent in the field of investment. They will be excluded if they keep complaining. Grin
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be patient for your profit on: July 24, 2018, 02:41:38 AM
Hi,

I see a lot of members waiting for like 7 days and they didn't getting any profit..
After 14 days the price is dropping..

They screaming on bitcointalk and Twitter.. (some of them  Grin)
My answer.. Just wait!

- Developers can't work 24 hours a day
- don't check the twitter or ANN every hour  Wink
- a project in blockchain isn't a job for a week.. Be patient..
If you wait a year or a couple of months you get much more profit.
That's right, we just need patience and the price of the altcoins will automatically be restored. Why do we have to be too anxious to understand how the Crypto market works?
New investors need to understand this and they need to practice perseverance.
400  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can be useful for a troubled economy on: July 24, 2018, 02:39:01 AM
Goldman Sachs: Bitcoin can be useful for a troubled economy

According to the report of Goldman Sachs, Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies can be a good alternative to the national currency for countries with an unstable economy.

Analysts at Goldman Sachs Zack Pandle and Charles Himmelberg said that digital currencies and, in particular, Bitcoin, can become a viable means of payment in countries where traditional money is not sufficiently provided.

Goldman Sachs experts: crypto-currencies can help the troubled economy

I do not think it would be good for a troubled economy. Bitcoin prices fluctuate according to the market economy. When the market recovers, investors withdraw and run, affecting the cost of Bitcoin as happened in May. I think real estate will be most useful for a downturn. .
