I don't see why the bitcoin price level would impact the fiat value. That's not how the economy works, Bitcoin price rise because it's a deflationary currency at the same times as a highly speculative asset. Even if bitcoins were worth 1 million$ each, that would be 15 Trillions$ total market cap, that wouldn't even be 10% of all financial assets at the current volume. Even though Bitcoin would reach 1 million $, it's very likely that all financial assets combined would represent much more than the current 156 trillions.
The global economy needs inflation/debt to work, that's not something bitcoin is going to change, it is something we can change collectively though, but is it necesary ?

C'est vraiment hallucinant la croissance du prix du DeepOnion depuis 1 mois. Il reste encore 19 semaines d'airdrop et je sens que le prix va continuer à monter tant qu'il y a l'opportunité de recevoir des dividendes avec ce moyen. Au delà de cette période, il reste à voir comment la liquidité va s'accroître en listant DeepOnion sur d'autres échanges, ça sera tout le challenge de la phase post-airdrop et déterminera le prix à la hausse ou à la baisse à partir de ce moment. Mais en attendant je compte les $$$ virtuels qui s'accumulent et je convertis une toute petite partie en litecoin chaque dimanche. C'est vraiment cool comme projet, bien mieux que les ICOs, etc... j'espère vraiment que l'équipe va amener de nouvelles features intéressantes histoire de devenir riche sans aucun effort mdr  |

Myself I am monotheist but I don't follow dogmas or existing organized religions like Christianism or Islam.
I believe it's dangerous to allow other people to shape your beliefs especially when they have bad intentions like in sects but even when they have good intentions.
Now when you're born in a religious family, it's hard to shape your own beliefs yourself without contradicting your family but I think it is a necessary step in order to have some free thought.
The only sect I have known people from was Scientology, they all left after a while seeing the costs outweight greatly the benefits.

I suppose that in 2 years from now, most of the top 10 altcoins will have survived and seen growth but it might be a very different story in 10 years from now. Technologies evolve, markets too. Who knows what innovation or regulation might shape the market in the future ? I want to believe in LTC/NEO/Deep Onion |

Most of my money goes in rent and food. I try to save as much as I can but sometimes I have to spend some to go out at the theatre or bar or nightclub.
I think it is very important to not waste money in useless ways like expensive phone/tv or any asset which depreciates as soon as you buy it.
It is especially important when you are poor if you ever want to rise in the social hierarchy :p

It was a good quick read to be honest. Of course it's poorly written fiction but interesting ideas nevertheless.
I don't see how governments would let that happen or how it could happen. Our global economy needs debt and inflation in order to grow, I suppose a paradigm shift wouldn't be such a bad thing from an ecological point of view but still, it would really transform our society.
Besides that, Bitcoin technology is outdated and it's unclear if there will ever be a consensus to upgrade it so... well and to clear things up : 1 million $ bitcoin wouldn't do shit do the real economy when you know derivatives alone worth 1.2 quadrillions.

Deep Onion c'est pas mal. 1 euro / Onion pour le moment et rien qu'avec la croissance organique du marché de la crypto ça va croître. Mais il y a une vrai équipe derrière avec de vrais idées, dont certaines très prometteuses. Honnêtement peu de risque à investir 50-100 euros dedans, à part de faire moins de profit qu'avec une autre. Sinon, pour les cadeaux de noel, une alt à proposer (Avec paper wallet) pour du 2-3 ans? Il y a un paper wallet Deep Onion. Je trouve que ça fait un beau cadeau en effet |

It doesn't worth much to be honest. It's digital money and Ripple don't sell XRP to banks but only the technology which people buying XRP are funding. Hence it's not a good investment.

Most advisors I know would say to not commit more than 5% of your portfolio to crypto. But I would say 10% is better as long as you can afford to loose everything.

Not all terrorists are Islamists neither do all Islamist are terrorists. But Islamist have a very radical political orientation and radicality often leads to violence. When it comes to Muslims, well, of course the question is silly. We all know most Muslims just want to leave in peace and dignity. What can i add ? Human beings are violent, civilized or less civilized people are violent. Our race is a race of super-predator which suck up dry everthing on this planet and Human individuals will continue to predate other human individuals one way or the other. It's good to believe in something greater, but at the end of the day, Muslim or not, we are only humans, with a human nature. Not all Muslims are terrorists but even those who are not terrorists, I have seen them to be very pleased when these terrorists and other unfortunate events happen to the western countries. That means they sympathize with the cause of these terrorist groups in the first place. I suppose this is partly true (and partly wrong since most Muslims do not sympathize with blind violence) because of revanchism against Europeans. Which is understandable but to be honest it's the mongols who destroyed the Islamic civilization, Europeans did only came after a long time after that to do what they used to do, compete with each other for global power. |
