381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: August 28, 2022, 10:59:36 PM
Challenging Inoue is also a big goal for a boxer under that category, we know Inoue is a great boxer and still undefeated and that’s why they are choosing the best deal for him and both team agreed with the terms so let’s not think about everything in favor for Inoue because both parties already signed the deal. This may look a mismatch but I’m sure Butler will take this seriously same thing with Inoue, there’s still time to prepare and let’s see if Butler can really give a good fight against Inoue.
382  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Philippine Universities Team Up With Binance To Offer Bitcoin Courses on: August 28, 2022, 09:54:49 PM

Mass adaptation means full regulation.

https://newsinfo.inquirer.net/1652500/bsp-and-sec-eye-regulations-for-use-of-crypto-and-defi
May mga Universities na ang nagooffer ng ganitong subject even if there’s no regulation yet and even before the partnership of Binance. I remember NEM is very active on educating many people about blockchain and sa tingin ko they are still active. Let’s be more optimistic this time and I’m sure Universities will not accept this kind of partnership if they didn’t see the trend, sana maging ok at mas maging affordable ito.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum price get to 4,000 in 2022 on: August 27, 2022, 11:58:17 PM
The market conditions right now are on a bad note with most assets losing their value to the united states dollar and cryptocurrency is the most heated in terms of price crashes, arriving at the 4k price this year is becoming increasingly unrealistic expectations are still high but volatility is also high.
I say this at the price of $2k before but after hitting that, I became more optimistic and now the price is down again which I think is a good opportunity to buy more and that price of $4 can still be hit this since we still have 4months left. Well, the market should still need to fully recover before we see this price and probably Bitcoin will be the basis of the market trend again and ETH can also follow that but for sure it can’t happen right away. Just wait for that and keep buying, it can be worth it.
384  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are candlestick patterns overrated? on: August 27, 2022, 11:47:14 PM
How can it be overrated ? Everything in trading depends on candlesticks. By looking at the candlestick charts, you can determine when it is good to invest or when it is bad.  How would we get the signals if there was no candlestick? I think this question has no logic because trading analysis fully depending on candle stick . So I can't agree with that it's overrated.
Candlesticks are very important, this is our basis for our indicators and with this, you can also know when to buy and sell. This is not overrated and actually the purpose of the candlesticks missed by most of the trader because they are too focus with the other indicators, and they forgot the fundamental of other indicators. Candlesticks works perfectly on it’s purpose, better to focus on this as well.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Reef is ready to beat ADA in next quarter on: August 27, 2022, 10:40:02 PM
just like you, I will also continue to support ADA even though marketing reefs keep saying reefs are better than ADA. CARDANO is ranked 8 right now, and will definitely continue to survive without being disturbed by reef LOL.
I just ignore those shillers. They may get paid for that or that's a part of their investment. Sometime someone wanna try to shill his token caused by he has been investing on it. Reef has not showed good performance so far. Im not feeling doubt if people were starting to mention reef to be compared with big cap tokens which is non sense thing. Reef dumped to the bottom again and again,.
Probably a way to hype REEF, i wonder what’s the hype if the project didn’t do well in the past months and right now, it’s down again. ADA is still the best and offer a great service on it’s platform, no wonder why many want’s to replace this good project. Well, there might be a new one to be put on top but I doubt about REEF. Will not invest for now just because of this hype, ADA should still focus on its own growth though.
386  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Unang Banko sa Pilipinas na nag-ooffer ng Mobile Cryptocurrency Trading on: August 26, 2022, 10:36:53 PM
Unionbank is very innovative pero sa tingin ko, I won’t use this as my trading portfolio, siguro pag cash-in or cash out pwede pero kung trading, I think real exchanges are still better and probably kapag naging live na ito sa Unionbank, baka mataas lang den ang fees like the other wallet.

Kung gusto mo lang naman mag hold, ok na itong Unionbank yun nga lang di paren talaga advisabel kase may mga cases talaga with regards to regulations na patuloy hinihingian ng mga supporting documents, at sana maadress ito ng Unionbank kase alam naman naten, we all want privacy and that’s the purpose of crypto.
387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 26, 2022, 10:19:23 PM
Fajardo did a great plays in game 3, and SMB really work as a team that’s why they are able to sustain the momentum while TNT is still struggling. The gap in score is not that big, that means TNT can really compete with SMB it’s just that they are always fell short. Maybe the missing head coach of TNT affect their strategy plays, TNT is good but they also have to activate other players because their key players are being guarded. Game 4 will be an exciting one and it’s crucial for TNT to let SMB have the lead, that can be the end for TNT if ever.
What I like about SMB in game 3 is that, they are too focused in the game and they really played well as a team knowing that key players are trusting his teammates. Well, I was able to put some bet for SMB in game 3 and its worth it. Now I will take some risk for TNT because I know this is not the end for them yet, this can still go for a game 7 so let’s all have bet and have fun, this is indeed an exciting finals.
388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 25, 2022, 11:03:08 PM
I don't get why coach Chot give so much time with Keifer much better to let Parks play and help JC and Dwight. Almost a win, but Lebanon really fought well. That big block of Kai helps Lebanon to seal the game. It's really annoying, but we can't ask for more from our Nationals. They try their best but the rotations is something is that really important.

Not enough rest for both Kai and JC, which really feel exhausted. They try to keep running, but the Lebanese are always there
and not giving them easy shots.

Congrats to Lebanon though and hopefully from hope the National fought today they'll lesson from it! Hope for the best!
Gilas still did a great job knowing that Lebanon is not an easy opponent, we fell short but still kudos to our players. We cannot blame the coaching staff anymore, since they did a great job it’s just that we are dealing with the Silver medalist and we can really say that Lebanon has improved a lot. Moving on into the next game, I’m pretty sure we have a better chance to win against our next opponent, so let’s continue to support them.

I was not able to watch the game live but I was able to check the box score and stats. It seems that turn over and 3 points is the cause of Gilas failure to win. Gilas commited 21 turnover against 9 from Lebanon. While lebanon have 31% 3 points percentage against 26 of Gilas. Other stats, Gilas dominated Lebanon. Too bad they were not able to convert those advantage to a win. I am sure Coach Reyes will get a lot of flak from social media, again, because of this.

Gilas next match is with Saudi Arabia. With this current lineup, I expect them to dominate that game
We are better compare to Saudi Arabia team so probably another high expectation for the Gilas on their next game.
Gilas against Lebanon was a great game, though we failed at least we know where to improve especially on creating good chemistry among the players which I think is our lack since they only trained for a week and that's not enough for an international competition. Well, we should not blame Coach Reyes alone, we should blame the system where are athletes didn't get much of a support from our own government.
389  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Banks in the Philippines that the BSP classifies as a Digital Bank on: August 25, 2022, 02:14:43 PM
It's good to see more option now though medyo nagtaka lang ako kase akala ko licensed digital bank si seabank since insured naman sila sa PDC and maganda ren talaga yung mga reviews patungkol dito at maganda ren yung mga inooffer nila especially yung malaking interest.

390  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bollinger Bands and RSI overbought and oversold price detection on: August 25, 2022, 01:52:09 PM
Overbought and oversold can not be identified by Bollinger bands.
Based on what I know, this is their purpose to know the volatility level of the market and yes this indicator can identify if the price is already oversold or overbought.
This is just one indicator but if you uses other indicator like RSI, you can confirm that your firs analysis is correct.

Now, if you want to know the next trading signal or the trend, then you can use the other indicator, this how good trading is because you can use many indicators to confirm your analysis and to complement the other indicator. RSI and Bollinger are almost the same though RSI are the common indicator to spot the oversold and overbought.

392  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: August 21, 2022, 04:07:04 AM
What makes quasiaquam's case a bit complicated and makes Roobet decision not to help understandable is that the chain to which the coins were sent is not supported by their payment system. Attempting to recover the coins will result in exposing their wallets private keys which is too risky.
In any case, only one of the admins (or whoever has access to the wallets private keys) can help here.
I agree, only Roobet can resolve this problem since the address is correct but sent in wrong chain. There's a way but it depends on the team because it is risky on their part. Sending using different chain can happen if you're not careful.

Anyway its an interesting case and probably an awareness for us to always double check our transation if all the details are correct given that it is irreversible.
As far as I know Roobet can easily decline the transaction since they check first the withdrawal before approving, this is a costly mistake honestly and there's no assurance for the refund especially if the transaction pushed through. Roobet is the only one can solve this problem, they have the control but I agree about the risk and the job they have to do just to solve this problem, to avoid this kind of inconvenience and error, better to triple check your transaction before you proceed.
393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japanese Animation Slot Machines on: August 08, 2022, 09:59:15 PM
I also imagine aesthetics are not extremely important for gamblers!!

If the person really likes gambling, he will gamble. I imagine that appearance/aesthetics can be something important, but not as much like functionality, UX and other relevant variables.

But in my humble opinion, I can't see any reason not to use these machines.
This can add to your excitement especially if you are an anime fanatic.
Honestly, I love the idea of this machine and its really futuristic, I can’t imagine the next concept of slot machines especially in the future where technology keeps on growing. Just like the other user here, my concern is also about the security with this game, I hope they are not scanning your finger print here.   Cheesy

395  Economy / Gambling / Re: My list of good crypto casinos on: July 25, 2022, 09:45:28 PM
It’s good to have your own list of casinos and maybe you really trust those casinos however since I’m not familiar with those sites, I won’t try it for now. There’s a lot of good casino today that are still planning on accepting cryptocurrency, maybe some of those list are part of those casinos. Anyway, if you really believe on that platform and think that they are paying right, and feel the security that’s fine at least you are on a good site.
396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: taking out a loan for a sports bet (UPDATE) + fixed match on: July 25, 2022, 09:06:03 PM
remember, some people really do gamble even if it is not their money. they are thinking that they can recover such money and win more. but even if we say, it's a fixed match, you can still never be sure what will happen during the game. be contented on what you have, don't aim for bigger takeout if you can't afford to. if it is not your money on the table, you won't be enjoying the game as your main target is to win and not to watch the game itself.
Isn't it why we gamble especially on sport match as we already have a team we wanted to win and would like to bet on it to add more excitement and thrill. Also, lending money to loan on a probably sure win game isn't really a bad decision if the person will be able to repay it a later date but doesn't have a money at the moment. However, it is wrong and worst decision if you don't have any way of repayment and only trusting that you will win on it.
Loans for gambling is not good at all regardless if you can pay it or not, because eventually you will experience problems especially with your loans if you continue being like this. There can only be a sure win game if the top team is against the lower team but of course this is still gambling and anything can happen. If there’s a fixed match, and there’s a whistle blower better not to trust that much and bet only your extra money because again, you don’t know if that is reliable or not.
397  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Maya Bank - Now Accepting Bitcoin on: July 23, 2022, 11:25:08 AM
Ito ay ang Paymaya dati, nagrebrand lang sila since they are now accepting Cryptocurrency so panigurado marami naren ang user nito, and its good to have other wallet like this kase mabibigyan tayo nito ng maraming option.

Anyway, good news din yan.
Isa nga ito sa mga nakikita kong problem, limitado paren yung cash in option nila and nahirapan ako magpasok ng pera. Mukang mas ok pa yung ibang wallet pero let's see until next month if worth it ba yung sinave ko na pera just to try their 6% interest promo.

398  Local / Pamilihan / Maya Bank - Now Accepting Bitcoin on: July 21, 2022, 01:26:40 PM

Sa ngayon, wala pa silang send and receive option pero panigurado in the future, baka mas mahigitan pa dito ang Coinsph.

Any thoughts about MAYA?

3. Limited Knowledge - You can't share what you don't have, and making good topics here requires a good knowledge especially topics about helping people or a guidelines.
Yes, but being active here in the forum for five years is enough time for someone that is a total novice to the forum to have learned so many things about the forum and how one can contribute positively to the growth of the forum or possibly made good research, gather good information that will solve some problems here. You can share the information you once saw that someone in the forum used to solve a particular problem if you are a good reader or should I say learner and you have nothing to lose hence you reference the original owner of the information, you can also get the information you wish to share on the internet but remember to add the link to the source of the information to avoid plagiarism.
Just like what I've said in the OP, I'm not that active and this is why I'm still stuck from this rank and still not knowledgeable enough about the market. I'm still on a learning process, and there's a lot of good suggestions here which I'm starting to follow slowly but surely. Again, I appreciate everyone's comment here, and yes getting more legit information is east to collect now, I should double my effort on doing this.

You now have 968 posts. Here's a challenge (which you're free to ignore):
  • Go over your post history
  • If a post doesn't add anything, delete it
  • Create links to your best posts in Report unmerited good posts to Merit Source
  • When you post there, please refer to this post (so I don't lose track if you follow up after a while)
  • I'm not promising a lot of Merit, but I do promise I'll review your list (I can't get myself to read your 968 posts)
Will start working on this challenge and I'll surely make time for this.
Not to aim for that merit but I know this can help me a lot, I just need to focus on learning things and be on the right track.
Again, thank you for this kind of motivation.

Seriously, my purpose for this topic is to give tips to a newbie not to do the same mistakes
Unnecessary to do so. Let's save your time, to improve yourself.
Maybe this is just another mistake.  Cheesy
