I've never played Japanese slot machines and it's unlikely I will like it because I'm not a fan of the manga or their traditions.

In my opinion, such slot machines are designed to attract primarily Japanese who are fans of these cartoons. Everyone else will not get any enthusiasm from such a design.

Understandable since not everyone will be please on how Japanese Culture shown in regards with their anime and cartoons but still that's how Japan are known for. Animation, electronics and animatronics are what Japan are known for and gambling or casino is not excluded on this which is probably why they look like that instead of the normal slots are design that way.

Good morning. Some days ago I was taking a look at my twitter feedback and I found something some of you could find interesting or at leat worthy of some discussion.

It seems there are slot machines of a popular japanese animation called "Madoka Magica", basically girls with magic powers, these slots machines seem to include a tactile screen for the player to interact with the characters in order to gamble.

In these Tweets you can see how two of the characters seem to ask the player to "touch" their fingertips as part of the slot machine functionality. (For some reason, if the player chooses to hold on it more than necessary the character reacts to it)

Hmmm, it's unique compared to the other website but the thing it is i am more into what can I benefit in the game, having an interactive function is not very interesting for me, it may be good since it is unique and the owners and devs really put an effort to make this thing happen but not all people will like it. I don't know if it will help me in my gambling life. It will only give happiness to those who like manga I think.

I'm curious, other than the character reacting if the gambler touches the fingertips long enough what else does it do? if you ask me I feel it is unnecessary and to be honest, I am a little disturbed especially when the characters on the screen looks like a child. what I think they should do is incorporate that feature into something more practical.

Definitely a rated PG kind of slot machine I am going to be asked since the language used kinda teasing as well as the expression of the characters. Moreover, that was really a brilliant idea and kinda more interactive and fun to play with, kudos to who have made it. If it's near at my place, then why not? They're literally fun.

First time I am hearing about these slot games. I know from my visits in Japan that people over there love slot games, even though it's not allowed to gamble for money directly. That's why all these casinos use small metal balls for their games. Going into one of these places is very loud and seems strange to any Western gambler. Anime slots would definitely fit in their style. Also Japanese gamblers love to spend a long time in front of slot machines, introducing Charakters and more options to interact with them seems like a good idea. Not sure how this would work in an online casino, but I always like new things and would give it a try before making up my mind. I would like to experience this it adds excitement to the game but unfortunately, I would have to go to Japan to experience this, its innovative and interactive, if you love anime you can relate to the animation, I hope casinos all over the world will be as innovative like the Japanese so playing slot and other luck based games will be relaxing and really entertaining, the Japanese are lucky to have this.

I personally wouldn't play this slot because I'm not a "Madoka Magica" fan, even if its RTP was 99% instead of 96%-98% in slots I normally play. But if I were a big fan of these anime television series, I would play it even if its RTP was 94%.

Generally, your factor and consideration of playing slots depends highly on "Themes>RTP".

If that is so, you might miss some of the good slots with better RTPs since themes are a factor for you. Well, regardless and we already know about this fact, even how good the RTP is, it doesn't mean we will have a good luck on that slots so nothing wrong with your criterias of choosing.

Man, Japan is a completely different world (different dishes, different music, different culture), I think this is not correct to ask westerners about this. Ofc people who like something new and/or like anime and it's culture would play on it for sure. Some more conservative people would answer "no", but happened to them to go to Japan,. they would play on it also.

Personally I would try it, despite I do not like slots.

The characters from the show are  about 14-15 years old, so they are pre teens, indeed.
Also, it is ironic you find this to be disturbing since the anime itself has let many people crying or having sleepless nights, and yet it has become a highly popular fanchise.

It only depends on how we appreciate their creation. I like playing slot machines and though the animation is interesting for me, I don't think it could affect my entire gameplay. Probably just to get the experience, so yes, I would play them. But we all know how the odds for slot machines, RTP and then your luck. It's probably a good way to let gamblers exposed to his kind of Japanese animations, but do we? I mean some of us is old enough not to be in this kind of animations or cartoons. Oh, can't imagine you are affected by the drawings there as it gives you a disturbing feeling which supposedly should not. But yes, we all have our own preference and if you feel that way, then so be it. Maybe you are not just used to it since obviously, Japan has a different approach to that.

We can't also tell them to never incorporate such features since, in the first place, they are used to it in their culture. Nothing we can do about it.

Better for you to just ignore those for your own satisfaction and comfortability.

You are right since, after all, it's just the usual slots machines like we see in physical casinos or public game arcades stations.

Nothing really different or to expect unique gameplay once a person plays on that machine. Still, they are risking money expecting a good return playing from it. The themes should not be the main point there but in physical casinos, slots are slots whatever the theme is.

Just like in any gambling form, a person should make sure that they truly understand the risks they are facing the moment they deposit some credits on that slots. In most cases, bettors are being carried away especially if they won in the process and that's the start of being addicted.

That is a thing I don't undestand yet, this kind of slot machines are hightly targeted to a specific part of the population: anime fans /Madoka Magica fans. To be honest, when I picture on my mind a typical gambler I do not think of an anime fan, maybe it is different in Asia?
Do Anime and gambling go together there? or Is it the anime so popular that it is used to attract future gamblers into giving their first steps on this machines?
