596 Mh/s on 1050w? Yes, its less efficient. My L3+`s runs at ~630Mh/s with between 950w - 1000w on wall.

Nice block, full of transaction fees!  How do you all see this info? Block size, "full of transaction fees" etcetera. Im trying to understand blocks, but maybe i'm stupid, but the ice won't melt yet...  By the way: where can i find all the adresses of the servers? (can't find em anymore... Different country's i remember but i dont see them.) I want to put backup servers as a second pool, so my miners won't switch to nicehash everytime they loose connection with Kano... But as far as i know, one cannot backup the firmware itself, so why wouldnt you offer altered firmwares downloaded from bitmain?
One has to put their own settings in it anyway?

My partner and I are in Sydney, we re building a farm that runs via a 2 phase cooling setup, like you we need to removed the fans on the S9.
I have found a guy who can create custom firmware and load in to the machines.
This means your machines will run with no fans but and can overclock to about 19th for a 13.5th machine.
Where are you located?
19Th sounds like music to me. Is this only liquid cooled, or... ? Can you share this firmware to us? |

Thanks for the answers! So, im better off with a fast but not flat-free subscription, instead the other way around...? expansion will not be... Its in a rented room not in use but need to pay rent (its backup) and is all-in. Rentee wont give discount for not using it, so i was planning to put 4 to 6 miners in it...  |

Hello,
I'm thinking about putting some miners in a location where wired internet is not available, and Wifi is very unstable. Therefore i was thinking about buying a GPRS/UMTS/3G/4G modem/router and connect some miners to this.
My idea is to put 3 or 4 asics in a soundproof box, have it have a lithium battery backup (ey, its 12 volts, so why not?) and connect them to a GSM modem/router with 4 ethernet ports.
Now, in my country there are SIM providers with unlimited data for a fixed price, but price depends on your internet speed. So, therefore im looking if anyone knows the usage of data, and the bandwith needed for the miners like S9, L3+, etcetera.
Anyone got some good ideas about this?

I did this a few times with several cards (the asus cards are true crap by the way)
I remember that the sequence was a tad different and i soldered 2 wires on it so that i could redo it again (and i needed to) without shorting anything with a paperclip.
Let me know if it doesnt work; i'll dig into it again how i did it exactly.

Folks seem to not be able to figure out that the fees NH charges to rent your hash to them kills any chance of making any gains. Everyone makes their own choices...to each his own!
its my backup pool... What do you suggest then? nothing? let them idle? does that gain more profit than NH? @kano: can you check what went wrong then? my chart is full of blips down. I have the fastest internet available: 400/40megabytes fiberoptic... Should suffice for 15 miners and some websurfing... |
