I think most are OK. Bitcoin just proved its stability, and I took the opportunity to scoop up some undervalued VIA's in the dip.
Can't wait for the new developments, keep us posted, Romano. We need to get the hype going for this coin. It should definitely be in the second tier of coins below BTC and ETH with all of the tech that you have behind it. Once we get a good pump going we should be able to finance this project to get some marketing, programmers, and ultimately a moonshot, worthy of the value that VIAcoin gives to mankind with it's speed, functionality security and anonymity.
Keep up the work, and keep popping the Ritalin!
Yes, You are right. What I need is making more profits with this coin and the demand of users. Dev need more good plans to kick this coin to go to the moon. Viacoin has enough plans but nobody notice it. Since it's an "older coin" the light gets easily stolen by new coins. All I need is a bit of marketing & somebody pointing out the tech of Viacoin to the public.

SEC disapproved, hope everyone is still ok.
Time for Viacoin to shine.

Haha, awesome find in the Litecoin repository. Imagine how stressed out those people would be in 4901. :-P
Haha yeah it wasn't as important, but it was fair to point out right? Offcourse if a coin is 25x faster (Like Viacoin), the date would be much sooner. Or any future altcoin that would use Litecoin codebase or look how they did it.

28 days since last activity in github... was it so that the work is worked on privately now? Why?
Gitlab is a bit easier for development & discuss code and explain Bitcoin Core code. Also talking about what can be improved and what is safe or not. Also things like this Pretty cool, found my first small Litecoin bug (In their current repo).

in last few days i resynced VIA chain from zero in win64. it gobbles about 300Gb of trash just to carve out ~7G of chain w full index. kinda mining manganese lol, never been fixed for years. and you call that a progress guys huh ...
That's a pretty passive aggressive post you have. i will post very welcoming smth once you fix that crap, i tried to, back then, but then it turned out old blocks get sucked with the same bloat. only VIA to my knowledge Yeah you will love Viacoin 0.13 since you care about a good wallet instead of weird dApps

That's a pretty passive aggressive post you have. Viacoin 0.13.x isn't released yet. ....... Otherwise we would be signaling for SegWit or picked a date. Makes sense right? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 0.10.11 was fixing a security bugs & updating dependency's Also Time for school ! Windows 32-bit: i686-w64-mingw32 -j4 Windows 64-bit: x86_64-w64-mingw32 -j4Try to remember this ! It will be important when you are older

Any update from Dev please about progress here. For merged mining there were some problems with serialization. We are gonna try to bring up clean nodes with 0.13.2 instead of downloading from the existing nodes. There's a good chance that may be the solution! If it is, merged mining is done. Then I need to prepare for SegWit. Pick a date to singal, double check code, build the binaries & release the new Viacoin version. Let all pools, exchanges, users etc update. SegWit is good, but many people hate it because of low transaction fees, maybe it will only be an experiment, and won't be implemented into bitcoin network. Which is a sad thing. Viacoin is the future. Mind telling how lower transaction fee could be a drawback? The lower the fee the more transacting parties are on the network, and that certainly benefits the adoption and integrity of a shitcoin, there are other benefits of having segwit on such as much more hype and armpit-shaped pumps on poloniex. Hmm hype you say? * checking out your bitcointalk posts * Alright what do you see as "great"? Are it DApps? A nodejs coin? Or some weird idea like the Chronobank ICO? Imo those things are hypes since those things usually never take off. I don't know why some see SegWit as hype. It sounds like people rather see tons of money getting invested in something like Bellacoin, no development & backed by 1 android app that isn't released or any line of code shown. I would happily write for you about SegWit. Currently it disappoints me that so many people don't do more research. Imo a safe, stable & optimized bleeding edge coin is better then a coin with bitcoin source code 2010-2012 in it. With some weird Android app. But hey that's just me. I have this vision to make Viacoin one of the best coins on a technical aspect. A good & stable wallet. Fast transactions & low fee.

Just updated the Viacoin website. The Roadmap & Segwit interview is now included on the websitehttps://viacoin.org/ Looks nice and thanks for your explanation of why you don't like unlimited. Segwit would not have that hardfork issue? It wouldn't have that issue. SegWit is a soft fork.

Segwit added or modified 4824 lines of code, you have to run & fully use it for a year to sort any bugs. Testnets & peer review only go so far.
Yes we are planning to run it and fully use it for a year or so before releasing any wallets with segwit support. So does it mean SegWit actually not activated for real in Groestlcoin? No one can enjoy low fee off chain transactions, cross-chain trades, etc? It's just another smoke and mirrors for pump? No. They can just release the wallets. They are just careful. You can compile the wallets yourself if you want. Well, I actually want to compile it and test lightning channels. I still don't understand mechanics and concept of update. I want to know how it looks and work, if there is need for some additional data. Do I need to choose lightning channels manually, or wallet do all the work by itself? Is there some another colored coin will appear I should convert my coins to first? How can I open my channel and have my share of comission? Where is a wallet I can compile to test all this? Oh my previous message wasn't completed. The gui doesn't support it. You can do it with the CLI

Me quietly reading GRS data; and I've figured out that if Groestl's devs were Australian, GRS would be called 'Bubble-and-Squeak Coin'!
EDIT: I have signed up at Cointopay.com, and look forward to using it; but may I explain something very different, an Australian service called 'Living Room of Satoshi':...... Any Australians here?
Devs are Dutch.

Viacoin is the future. If bitcoin doesn't implement SegWit they have a huge problem. I'm against Bitcoin unlimited offcourse and I think a hardfork is a terrible idea. They have to change indeed. Why are you against unlimited? Bitcoin unlimited is a hard fork. Users, miners, merchands etc have never deplpyed a hard fork. The techniques to test them safely have never been tested. Hardforks require all full nodes to upgrade or everyone who uses that node loses money. Also what lately happened. bitcoin.com missed 13.2BTC block reward by trying to fork the network. Buggy, untested Bitcoin Unlimited created an oversized block. Participating BU nodes got temporarily auto-banned. https://btcmanager.com/why-roger-vers-mining-pool-lost-12-5-btc-because-of-a-bug-in-bitcoin-unlimited/
