381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trump's statement against cryptocurrency on: July 31, 2019, 10:58:01 AM
Many people believe Trump's statement led to downtrend of the market after a move for BTC to 13k$. Well, market emotions affect the crypto market greatly, since a slight FUD will cause many to dump their holdings. I also want crypto enthusiasts to understand that when these big shots draw attention so much to crypto, it means they are showing interest.  Let's try to be Patient when holding crypto, you wouldn't know if the people castigating are actually doing so to take position and buy bitcoin.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitbond scammers or not how you think? on: July 31, 2019, 10:52:48 AM
I saw that bounty but I wasn't moved to do it. They claimed to be Germany's first STO but when I looked through their spreadsheet after my friends complained, it wasn't fair enough. Also, the reward was slashed by an extremely huge margin and this is the major issue, which doesn't tell good of the project. Team members should learn to reward those who aided in promoting their project.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Spike in Average Transaction Fee on: July 31, 2019, 10:49:38 AM
I think LTC halving news contributed to this. Too many transactions on the network probably caused spike in the TX fee. I'm happy to have accumulated LTC when price was fair,  I'm still holding anyway waiting for a good time to sell half of my bag, then hold the rest for long term.
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Do you realize a Crypto project is scam or Fraud? on: July 30, 2019, 11:00:02 PM
When the team stops giving updates for very long, then there is problem with the project. Also, when they keep promising listing for quite a very very long time without listing, then there is problem. Also, when a project start removing anyone who asks questions in their group regarding development, there is something going wrong. Then finally when all buy others clear off and leaving very huge sell orders, probably the team members are selling off. All these are red alerts.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulation good or bad? on: July 30, 2019, 10:39:17 PM
I've come across similar topics like this about regulations. Regulations have their own good and bad aspects. The good aspects will be that it will reduce crypto frauds and also help enhance adoption since investors will be more confident when crypto is regulated.  On the other hand, the bad aspect is that it drifts from decentralisation which is a core concept behind creation of bitcoin, the pace setter of crypto. I will like to see other views regarding this topic.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Refusing to pay bounty hunters is a red flag. Scam- KNT as case study on: July 30, 2019, 05:41:05 PM
Not paying bounty hunters is not fair, but I don't know for sure if your claims about KORA is actually true because I didn't participate in the bounty. Well, Nemesis always catch up with most of them. Team members should always try to reward those who aided them in promoting their project. That's the right thing to do.
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin Halving: Less than 6 days to go! on: July 30, 2019, 04:39:45 PM
LTC already pumped early before the dip afterwards still based on the halving news. Well, this halving coming soon might cause FOMO but I doubt since BTC dominance is still invoke. I think there might be a slight pump anyway, but overall LTC is a good hold for long term considering the great project development so far.
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did Facebook Just Gave-Up On Libra Project? on: July 30, 2019, 02:54:27 PM
The law makers will decide if LIBRA will be launched or not. We all know LIBRA is completely centralized so its fate depends on regulators. I sensed something similar in Trump's tweet about crypto recently. I really wish LIBRA holds since it means more adoption for crypto.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How often do you invest your Bitcoin to Altcoins? on: July 30, 2019, 01:29:22 PM
I invest in just very few altcoins because I know many will fail in the long run. What draws my interest in a coin is project development especially. Achievements by the team and project vision shows a great coin for long term hold. On your list I saw "name of coin", only a noob will invest in an altcoin just because the name is appealing lol.
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't doubt the power of Staking coins on: July 30, 2019, 06:31:47 AM
Staking coins are good for long term hold since dividends are generated, but saying miracle tele (which is not on any major exchange) is better than other staking coins is a no no. I have been holding NEO, VET, TRX for a long time and my dividends are so far are really cool for me.  At least I'm sure those projects are solid rock in terms of team and development.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of scam BiteBTC exchange on: July 29, 2019, 05:55:35 PM
I've seen so many complaints about this Bitebtc exchange labeled as scam.  This scam by some exchanges has to stop, that's the more reason why people should stop using non-reputable exchanges. Some people will see all these scam alerts and still deposit funds there, we have to be cautious of exchanges we use honestly.
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO is much effective than ICO nowadays. on: July 29, 2019, 04:42:37 PM
Yes, IEO is more effective and ICO has phased out, nobody talks about it anymore. Now new projects and even projects with failed ICO tend to do IEO on exchanges to raise funds for project development. The difference is very clear, IEO gives listing assurance and to an extent portrays the team as genuine since the exchange already verified them. Also note that there has not been scam for IEOs done on reputable exchanges, that's a clear distinction with ICOs which reaped investors off their hard earned funds.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in IEO BITTREX? on: July 29, 2019, 04:15:30 PM
I just don't know why a big and reliable exchange like BITTREX is not actually doing well with IEOs. I think their very first IEO where they backed off because they didn't believe in the project team anymore contributed immensely to this. I feel the pain of people who bought in Bitrrex IEO and lost money. This doesn't mean the next IEO on Bittrex must be bad, things change.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Justin Sun full of shyt? on: July 29, 2019, 04:09:46 PM
Justin Sun is really wise and great, but this time around cancelling his lunch with Warren Buffet is astonishing, although with good reasons according to TRON foundation. So actually he is not full of shyt, he needed rest and medical attention if truly he had kidney stones. Well another source states that he was arrested, so it's confusing.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bad days for crypto on: July 29, 2019, 01:45:51 PM
When BTC price moved up to 13k$, many people started predicting very high prices , some even mentioned 100k$. I always tell crypto enthusiasts that after an uptrend comes a pullback, this is how the crypto market works. The current prices we see is just mere correction which will soon be over, so there is no need to panic. There is hope for crypto in future.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could you recommend two good altcoins? on: July 29, 2019, 01:37:15 PM
My two best recommendations will be ETH and TRX. looking at their development progress, they are solid rock and good for long term hold. This is just my opinion and not an endorsement since I'm not a financial advisor. I would have mentioned other altcoins but you specifically demanded two.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading is a big challenge. on: July 22, 2019, 10:47:04 AM
From the image you attached, the price drop of BTC was just -0.24% which is not so bad. We shouldn't be carried away by little price changes, let's look at what BTC holds for the future. Some people when they see little price drop, they panic sell and it's not healthy for the crypto market.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance(BNB) best alt coin ! on: July 22, 2019, 10:41:42 AM
BNB is great too in my opinion but speculating prices like this doesn't guarantee any certainty. Crypto market is volatile, price might go up or down, so it's a two way thing.  Well, I'm holding some BNB for long term, but not necessarily because I'm expecting price to spike so soon, it's because I really like the developmental progress of Binance.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: be ware of the airdrop forms on: July 21, 2019, 08:20:14 PM
Yes, everyone has to be cautious of the information he or she provides in airdrop forms for those doing airdrops. Do not use email you use for exchanges or official purpose for airdrop, create a fresh email for that. Also, never provide documents for KYC to any airdrop, those with bad intentions might probably sell your data or use it for dubious acts, be careful with information you provide.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your private keys on: July 21, 2019, 04:32:29 PM
Obviously the best way to store private keys is offline. Personally I put it on paper and photocopy as backup.  Storing private key on emails, cloud storage and other online facilities is highly risky. This is because if security is breached for such online platforms, your data might be compromised and you know what that entails.
