It was promised that the distribution formula will change in the future rounds to give more new Bytes to current Byte holders relative to BTC holders.
On June 9 we'll have the 6th round of distribution, and after more than 4 months in the wild and having survived multiple post-distribution dumps, I think now it feels safer than before to participate in the distribution with Bytes, that's why the formula will change in favor of Byte-holders. Also, I want to accelerate the distribution to minimize the perceived uncertainty connected with undistributed coins.
So, these are the rules for the distribution on June 9 (nothing changes for the today's round):
BTC to bytes: (no change) 1 BTC of proven balance gives you 62.5 MB (0.0625 GB) BTC to blackbytes: (no change) 1 BTC of proven balance gives you 2.1111 * 62.5 million blackbytes (money supply of blackbytes is 2.1111 times more than that of bytes) Bytes to bytes: (2x increase) 1 byte on any Byteball address gives you 0.2 new bytes Bytes to blackbytes: (2x increase) 1 byte on linked Byteball address gives you 0.42222 blackbytes
Spread the news, please retweet: https://twitter.com/cryptkeeperbtt/status/862417062869835776Ok cool, any specific reason for the increase to 2x on holding bytes? i guess the hot potatoes game is getting in the next round. anyway i could imagine byteballs getting 1bln marketcap like NEM. community growing, this will be a good token for a pump.

Snapshot should occur in this very moment. How long will it take to be completed? In other words, when is it OK to eventually withdraw BTCs from linked addresses?
Wait at least an hour why do we have to wait more? are there any delays? when can i dump the give away airdrop tokens?

Hey, guys, where do you keep your PIVX coins. When posessing a number of altcoins, it seems a big job to download all the wallets no? And constantly update them...
you dont hold altcoins like pivx, you trade them with the pump and dump cycle, otherwise you can hold bitcoin, litecoin, ethereum, with probably more profit

I second this. Ive been thinking maybe its time we push to get listed on bittrex
it will make a big noise for this project if reach bittrex as many traders still unaware about this coin and if ever that dev pushed it to be added we will bring more investors and newcomers to support Heat its a combined efforts between the community and the dev since they need to pay for the listing fee. One of the requirements of listing at bittrex is open source, see: https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202583854-Submitting-a-Coin-to-BittrexGithub Link - We only accept source code. We will not run a binary that you provide us. The HEAT team has not released the source code yet - listing at bittrex is not possible before that happens. what about liqui.com?

I second this? What's the deal with this project... it seems kind of dead? You guys raised a decent amount of BTC, what are you planning on doing with it? Are there plans to give the website and wallets a decent designer makeover? What else is planned? There was a lot of trashtalk during the ICO funding that this was crypto 3.0 - this will be "way better" than Wavesplatform etc. doesn't seem to be so far and you've now been out for a similiar period of time relatively speaking.
Above is an unofficial roadmap of the HEAT project, based on observations and discussions in the Slack channel. what i like on the project is, that there is not this hype, then on other platforms. crazy promotors and marketers pushing no innovation projects out of limit. its a steady solid development. and at the end of the day, it will give you the same profit.

Guys, what is the plan on getting Bittrex?
The exchanges where HEAT is traded currently, are very unknown and nobody uses them almost.
Thank you.
interesting question. is there an answer from team?

i have just started mining on linux. deadline - 0 hittime - 0.
i have a feeling i wont be getting rewards. anyone can please advise?
you didnt downloaded the blockchain or 100 other reasons. its not rocketscience starting this app ;-)

This project is really interesting (great API) but has one big disadvantage - huge inflation. It will be hard to protect the price from falling down further with so many new coins generated everyday.[/size]
inflation is not the problem here. forging/mining rewards of projects in the first year are accumulated and not sold on the marked, usually. you expect a better price, if --the project already matured --the inflation is lower for that just the people who wants to get out has to to be kicked out by a low or high price. higher prices are better, so the people coming new in are not selling to early.

Everything worked fine with mining, but for about 5 hours I`m delayed, now on block 240400. Any advice?
I had the same problem. I assume you forked. I could only solve the problem with deleting the blockchain and load it new again. Ok, thanks. And how did you delete it? First stop your node (using CTRL+C). If you use the wallet, there is a "Stop Server" button. Then, on Linux: cd heatledger-1.0.1 rm -rf blockchain
On Windows, look for the blockchain folder with the explorer and then delete it. I think it is located in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Heatwallet\app-1.0.1\resources\heatledger (replace "username" with your own). If you don't want to wait for the entire chain to download and sync, a faster way is to follow the instructions at: https://heatbrowser.com/report.htmli also forged about 20 hours on a forked chain. not nice. needs some work on it i guess. alot of people are running a node having that problem!

just tried a ccex withdrawal message said something along the lines of "automatic withdrawal failed - will be completed manually" the chain is forked :-(

thats not a crypto community here, its a brain amputation station here. its not about technology, its about a myth and kind of spiritual believing in Ohad.
turing completness is having its problems, but its the only way. everyone with a brain understands that.

Bittrex has added wallet for Gbyte, under maintance right now

This is one of the coins that has a large value on it though i have no idea why... Is this the same one that is listed on kraken?
^it's a scam this ETH token has nothing backing it and no use! I was censored/banned for asking questions! ==RED FLAGS== not minable , no real use ... scumbags running this are going to get in alot of trouble!!==mark this post== you watch! :-D lol ethertokens are not minable by nature of it :-) LOL good that they banned you A new #Melon protocol release (v0.1.0) is now available! We'll be updating the testnet version soon! https://github.com/melonproject/protocol/releases/tag/0.1.0 … #ethereum

When we are up and running and have released the HDK (Heat Development Kit - Needed for our work with ABN AMRO bank [among others]) we will be moving to the peer 2 peer parts. It will be the last part that will be replaced that's still based on NXT code.
great, i do hope there are people here in the forum who can help. I guess the next 100 days is dedicated to hdk, but maybe you can have a second team.

i have some byteballs on cryptox and wanted to ask if i am getting the multiplayer also on them? some knows? and what about black byteballs?

I have participated in independent testing on testnet today with several nodes in Europe and Asia. Everything seems stable even at relatively high tps rates. Already now the HEAT network is capable of stable, higher tps rates than Bitcoin. The next mainnet release expected soon with both forging rewards and Asset Exchange trading enabled will be a big milestone for this project.
when do you expect 1000 tps rate? I know the team is focusing on microtransactions, but is there a path to go there? Otherwise i would consider changing the Name of this thread: [ANN] HEAT: 3.0 crypto*multisig fiat*a2a hft* 1000tps*DSA*PoS+PoP*e2ee chat*
