381  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: March 18, 2023, 01:22:54 PM
Look like everyone is a Soccer fan here.
I created my Sportsbet account a while ago but did not place any bets. Considering its reputation, Sportsbet has worth trying. I don't watch soccer matches. That's why I don't know which team is more substantial. So, I always kept myself away from betting on Soccer matches. I love watching Cricket matches, and I figured out Sportsbet has a nice promo today. So, I decided to make my first deposit (a tiny amount) to try how it works. I knocked on the live support and asked them questions before making the deposit. The support was patient enough and answered all my stupid questions almost instantly. Here is my first bet at SportsBet (I Choose the safe side to try my first bet).

382  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to become a slot game admin? on: March 18, 2023, 12:01:43 PM
You already got a good number of replies. You may already get it.
I don't know what your neighbors were talking about. Suppose I work for a casino. People think I may get the extra benefit from being a casino staff. But, the truth is, If the casino uses provably fair technology, There is no way they can do a favor for a specific player or person. No matter who plays the games, they will get treated as same because the game doesn't know who you are. You invented a gun doesn't mean you won't die at a gunshot. I hope my explanation makes sense. There could be another side; Casinos may have something to do with the slots. But that game is not fair anymore.

You can achieve this by holding the game NFTs of slm.games, and they upgraded today so you can get a 50% rakeback

Read the post before you reply. Shit posters usually get ignored by forum members, and their posts may be removed if people report them.
383  Other / Meta / Re: 160 posts merited (by me) in just under 3 minutes–What’s got over me? (v 32.0) on: March 17, 2023, 03:49:54 PM
Version 32 - 17/03/2023  (160 posts merited (by me) in just under 3 minutes) -> 323 sMerits
Remerited all my merited posts since my last spree (+ some backlogged pending ones), for non-banned users (from today backwards).

Let's bump it.
I got six merits a few minutes ago and noticed it was DdmrDdmr's Merit attack.
I had a question about it. But it seems like you already answered in the OP. I was going to ask about the criteria for sending merits. I found this thread from another thread by fillippone. Thought, why not bump it up? Veterans may know how you do it. But it would be interesting for beginners to see the logs.
Breaking news.

***Merit spree Detected!!***

@ddmrddmr is on a massive spree!
384  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [0.85 BTC / $20K SCAM] Playbetr.com + Betcoin.ag SCAM! Accounts closed, IGNORING on: March 17, 2023, 03:04:00 PM
Any player with a dispute can choose any mediator they want. As far as this player, the matter is closed. He doesnt get to hop from mediator to mediator hoping he finds one that rules in his favor. We spent a month working with this mediator, including countless hours spent researching and providing documentation of his fraud. If he didn't trust this mediator, he shouldve went with someone else. Obviously he wasnt going to choose askgamblers, as they ruled against him previously, as well. These mediators do not make it easy on us. They exist to advocate for players. In this case, we had ample evidence to show abuse. If we didn't, the account wouldnt have been shut down, to begin with. This matter is closed.

Since you guys already spent countless hours researching his fraudulent activities. You must have those documents ready which you provided to thepogg.com. I don't know how thepogg.com mediator works, but I did not see any reply from Playbetr on the complaint thread. The user claims that thepogg.com never asked him anything related to this accusation. Let's say you are right. Do you deny that there could be miss understanding of detecting multiple accounts since this user claims once he used VPN? If VPN is not allowed then that's another case. But this guy claims he never heard of playbetr before, and he did not create multiple accounts. So, I would request you to cooperate with another mediator. This time it won't take that long since the documents are ready.

@OP, can you please stop swearing and come to the point? Your swearing and yelling won't make the difference. Would you mind contact with another mediator and invite playbetr? Would you accept the decision will come from another mediator?
385  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk monthly traffic analysis and stats on: March 17, 2023, 07:48:42 AM
I do not think there will be discrepancy between the result of the free version and paid version. The worse scenario would be that the free version displays no information at all. But if it is made to display information, the information of the paid version and free version should be consistent hence it's coming from the same tool.

If this is not obtainable, I'll conclude that the tool is not reliable or there wasn't consistency in the input data which determines the output.

Yeah, This is what I was talking about. Regarding showing a result, It should show the same result on Paid and Free versions. If they want to restrict something for the free version, They can restrict viewing six months of data for the free version (which they did for other features). Or they can limit it to one week or 15 days as their wish. It's not like we are getting visitors from them. So, they will give me fewer visitors if I use the free version.

The details like website visit is correct and the forum easily ranks on google, depending on the keyword. But, the geography analysis by similarweb is more realistic than what OP provided. The forum have different boards, so having Columbia as the top visitors when they have got no local board in the forum doesn't sound real, though it's possible through search engine traffics, but USA should be first on the table.

You got the point here. I have doubts as well about the accuracy of this tool. But, I won't say the USA should be the first one on the table. I believe a lot of forum users use VPNs for Privacy reasons. This forum is for Crypto and Tech geek people. Most of them care about their privacy. You may know that the USA is the most popular server for VPNs. Even Free VPNs offers USA server. So, it would be tricky finding from where most visitors come from.
386  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcointalk account hacking/phishing Alert on: March 17, 2023, 07:36:05 AM
81% of Forum users use Desktop to visit this forum.
Followed the link you shared, unfortunately numbers look inconclusive and if anything I think we have more users using mobile devices than a desktop which is scary in terms of these security concerns.

I didn't get you. Did you read the post I wrote with the image? Bitcointalk.org had 3.1 Million visits from Mobile just on October 22. After that, Mobile device visits dropped significantly. Bitcointalk.org has around 250K to 300K monthly mobile visits on average. In comparison, It has around 900K to 1.2 Million Desktop visits every month. October 2022 was exceptional, and it's a mystery. I do not have any explanation because I also have doubts about the accuracy of those stats, which I also wrote in that post. It seems we are going off-topic here. Mobile users have to be careful when they click on any link.
387  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [0.85 BTC / $20K SCAM] Playbetr.com + Betcoin.ag SCAM! Accounts closed, IGNORING on: March 16, 2023, 09:02:57 AM
Its simple. Playbetr is lying.
They googled the OPs username and came across this post from askgamblers: https://www.askgamblers.com/casino-complaints/rolletto-casino-rolletto-scamming-me-for-14000# and then decided the OP must be multi accounting. Otherwise why give a bunch of excuses then later on proceed to say something else. Something is not quiet right.

Before we came to a conclusion, Let's wait for PlayBetr as they are not inactive. Their last login was on March 13th. I just sent them a Private message and invited them to this thread. They will receive an email from the Bitcointalk forum about the new private message they received. PlayBetr has a reputation. But, Considering the amount, I have some questions about their action. OP has some good points and I pointed out it as well. I hope they will come and reply to those questions. Meanwhile, I will ask OP to contact another mediator service for assistance.
388  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [0.85 BTC / $20K SCAM] Playbetr.com + Betcoin.ag SCAM! Accounts closed, IGNORING on: March 16, 2023, 07:48:53 AM
I want Playbetr to tell me what other account I have been using and what the proof is for it. Simple as that. I can do everything to prove I am innocent meanwhile they can't do a single thing to prove I am not.

Reread the entire thread and replies. I checked all other things related to this accusation. I think you got a good point.
What I can suggest you write now is Please Contact another Mediator and invite Playbetr and Betcoin.

As it is unlikely the player will return to update with the results of the mediation, we would like to do so at this time:
https://thepogg.com/complaint/playbetr-non-payment/

I would request you to come back again and answer some questions. First, Would you mind answering Pmalek?
@Playbetr
What other mediators accept complaints against PlayBetr?

Thepogg.com's system of handling cases is questionable. OP Created a complaint, and Thepogg.com invited PlayBetr to the topic. Paybetr contacted thepogg privately without writing anything in the complaint thread. Playbetr or Betcoin never accused this player of having multiple accounts. They sent him an email accusing him of match-fixing, syndicate play, late betting and a bunch of other things.

See the images:

But, Thepogg.com said the player is Guilty of creating multiple accounts:
PlayBetR has provided sufficient evidence to demonstrate that this player has opened multiple accounts in breach of terms and conditions. As such we will take no further part in the representation of this player's claim.

No further posts will be approved on this thread.

ThePOGG

Do you have an explanation about this why did you guys accuse him of a bunch of other things while thepogg.com says he created multiple accounts which you guys never mentioned before that day? If he does, Would you guys mind cooperating with other mediators?
389  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbet closed my account without paying the balance in my account. on: March 16, 2023, 07:18:06 AM
I think I understand What OP said, even though it's confusing. Since OP is not here, I will try to answer logfiles and Saisher

For starters, How much did you deposit on the site?
His last deposit was $1199.

Quote
How much did you stake?
His last bet was $20

Quote
How much did you win?
He lose the bet.

Quote
How much have they let you withdraw so far?
Not sure if he has withdrawn before. But, it seems it was not his first deposit since he said his "Most recent Investment was $1199". The case at a glance. OP deposited $1199 at 1xBet and Placed a $20 bet which he lost. Meanwhile, He triggered KYC and submitted the KYC. After one week, He got an email from 1xBet saying his account was closed but would let him withdraw his funds. He deposited $1199 and placed a $20 Bet. He should have $1179 in his account. But, When he logged in to withdraw the funds, he saw only $153 in his 1xBet Balance. He is looking for help even though we know it's a scam casino.

@OP, Correct me if I am wrong. Also, Please follow the scam accusation report format as aioc suggested.
390  Other / Meta / Re: Whoops out of smerit. Should there be a way to buy some from theymos? on: March 16, 2023, 06:51:11 AM
Idea 1: Adjust sMerit per merit based on user rank from the time it is integrated forward. For example:

Legendary: Receives 2 sMerit per Merit received
That would introduce exponential growth, and old Legendary account farmers would have unlimited sMerit to farm more accounts. Basically, the Merit system would become worthless.

Quote
Full member and below: 1 sMerit per Merit received (No change)
It's 1 sMerit per 2 Merit received.

What you don't have, you can't abuse! The old Legendary account would require a large number of merits in order to have smerits for farming. If this new structure is implemented, only high-quality posters will benefit.

Igehhhhh, I slightly disagree. Only quality posts indeed deserve merit. But, it's not that hard fishing merits. Even shit posters can rank up quickly. Newbies spawn up every other day on the WO thread and keep posting tweets to get some easy merits. Eventually, they get it. Suppose this structure takes into consideration. Shitposter Legendaries will take the chance. You may ask, huh? Shitposter Legendaries? Yeah, You know that already. Actmyname leaves neutral on such accounts. There are a bunch of sold accounts around us with sMerits in hand. They can easily exchange merits, and you won't notice that.

But all of that aside, if Theymos started selling merits it'd probably turn into a disaster very quickly.  Better for high-ranked/trusted members and/or merit sources who are running low to ask Theymos directly or create threads like this.  The community is often very willing to help when they know someone just wants to spread merits around.

I agree with this statement. Theymos or Cyrus could decrease their skin thickness when it comes to response to established members (Like Staff, Moderators, Merit Sources, DTs)
391  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcointalk account hacking/phishing Alert on: March 15, 2023, 07:19:44 AM
You can also quote the post to see what's behind the link. I don't think this is a big problem for people who have been online for a long time. Beginners, and especially curious beginners, will have to go through the path firsthand.

81% of Forum users use Desktop to visit this forum. While mobile users can check the link by quoting the post, Desktop users can check it more easily by hovering over it before clicking it. I am unsure if a simple visit can hack any account without writing credentials. Phishing collects credentials only when you write that on the website. Also, It's understandable that you won't get logged out when you visit in-forum links. If you click on any link that redirects you to the login page, That's Odd. You are already logged in to the forum. Why would it ask again to log in if you did not log out or clear the browser? This forum doesn't require login to check forum posts. I guess most forum users know what I have written so far.
392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 15, 2023, 06:10:17 AM
Holy shit!! Bangbros whitewashed Poms?

Hahaha.
I liked the term you used to express your feelings. LOL.
Who knew that Bangladesh would White wash English in the Short Format of cricket? Bangladesh was doing worst in this format among the other formats. They have improved in ODI's for the last couple of years. Especially when they played on home grounds, they were unbeatable. Bangladesh did not lose any ODI series in the last five years on their home ground (Except the last ODI series against England). Isn't it impressive? Another fun fact is Bangladesh Only lost Two ODI series in the last Ten Years on their home grounds. Both series were against England. The first was in 2016-2017, a 2-1 Win For England. The 2nd one is the most recent, and it's the same 2-1 win for England. Only England Was indeed able to win the ODI series against Bangladesh In Bangladesh in the last ten years.
393  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cloudbet account under review for 5 months on: March 15, 2023, 04:54:15 AM
You can complain on the official thread too.
Like they will care  Grin
Hehe. I wish they would care.

Quote
If they did, they would be active in the forum answering to different issues in their thread.
Even if the casino ended up scamming you. You will have an explanation from them why they blocked your account or why it's been under review for five months.

Quote
I would love OP to post more details about the case with enough evidence that can get us to tag and create a flag against cloudbet's profile here in the forum, at least if everything checks out and is true.
As OP said, He cannot access his account anymore. He didn't take any screenshots before. It's been five months, and now he forgets how much his balance was. BTW, Cloudbet has more active scam accusations.
Cloudbet.com scam - Closed account after having no balance,
CLOUDBET IS SCAM! STOLE ME 0.92BTC DEPOSIT+WIN,
Cloudbet - Asked for verification and blocked account.

I remember Icopress ran their signature campaign. Not sure if he has any contact details for cloudbet that op can contact.
Edit: Hahmpuz Managed their Campaign as well.

As Bitcoin_Arena Said, Please follow the format of the scam report and Add Additional information.
Another scam accusation recently occurred: CSGO500 SCAM BOOKIE AVOID - PROOF INSIDE.

395  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM SITE Sportbet.io stealing money ( IMPORTANT ) on: March 15, 2023, 03:28:32 AM
Garbage Edited Out.

I feel mad at myself because I questioned Sportsbet and criticized their professionalism.
I thought you were freaking out while you wrote the topic, so your language was like this.
But, After reading your post one by one. I understand where you are from. You are calling them mafia and other bad words. Use your words wisely on the internet. You already agreed that you and your friend were playing at the same casino from the same Wifi in the same house, which is not allowed by Sportsbet. Now you started comparing them with some other casinos. Every casino could have its own terms and conditions, and you have to accept them if you want to play there.
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Includes happiness and Bitcoin on: March 14, 2023, 08:43:17 AM
What I believe is, If Bitcoin is Banned in Turkiye, The ATM Was built before the ban, and the Turkey government didn't check if there are Bitcoin ATMs.

That's not the case here. The ATM is new and Bitcoin isn't banned in Türkiye. You can trade Bitcoin legally but you can't use Bitcoin to buy any goods or services. Regulation on this issue was published in 2021.
No one would make an attempt to set the ATM in a mall without legal permissions. This regulation blocks many initiatives. Unfortunately the potential in the country isn't used well. There are elections in 2 months, maybe new government look more positively and change these rules and regulations.

If that's the case, then I would say it's a dumb decision from the government. They allow you to transact Bitcoin, but they don't allow you to use it. Do they explain why they do not allow people to buy goods or services? About elections, I know political parties promise many things before the election. But, when they win the election, they turn 360 degrees and forget everything. I hope this is not going to happen in Turkiye.

You state that "Turkey government didn't check if there are Bitcoin ATMs" when They issued The Regulation of Banning Bitcoin, This statement is not make sense at all, but no problem that at least you tried to deliver what you think.

Why it doesn't make sense at all?
I am not from turkiye. Not knowing their situation is not surprising. Suppose you running a mining machine inside your house, and the Government has banned Mining. They were unable to check your house if you were mining or not because it's impossible for every house. Does it make sense to you?

The reason that i know is inability of the goverment to monitor and control the transactions and excessive market volatility and use in illegal activity.
That's basically similar things. Government cannot monitor Bitcoin Transactions. Also, they cannot monitor every house and private sector. It's not impossible to run a Bitcoin ATM in a secret club even if they ban Bitcoin transactions. That was just my assumption which I mentioned the end of my post.
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Includes happiness and Bitcoin on: March 14, 2023, 04:27:37 AM
How ironic is that Turkish government let these Bitcoin ATM's but prohibit its use in the purchase and sale of goods and services. Their decisions are constantly contradicting each other. You can buy Bitcoin from that mall by using that ATM, but you can't use that Bitcoin to buy anything at the same place.

I didn't know that Bitcoin Transaction is not allowed in Turkey. I know another country where Bitcoin and all other crypto are banned. But, When miners import ASICs to mine Bitcoin or other coins. Customs release them because they do not understand what it is. I don't know how they import it. But, they are running their miners. What I believe is, If Bitcoin is Banned in Turkey, The ATM Was built before the ban, and the Turkey government didn't check if there are Bitcoin ATMs. Just like in some cities, casinos are banned. Still, there are some casinos inside some Expensive hotels and Bars. Sometimes they get caught, and the government takes action against them. I believe the shopping mall owner or whoever sets the ATMs will be in trouble if the government finds there is a Bitcoin ATM. Just my assumption.
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Introducing bitcoin to local communities/villagers on: March 14, 2023, 04:08:18 AM
Hi OP,
I am not sure where you are from. But, I assume you are from one of the African countries. Good to see you around. I appreciate your trying to teach them something that can change their lives. But, Make sure you don't ruin their life. You have to be careful when introducing them to new things like bitcoin. They are villagers, and they are innocent. They don't know how the internet is and how cruel it can be. They can fall into scams very easily. If you teach them something, teach them how to be safe from scams.

I won't recommend you teach them how to trade. Instead, if they want to invest or do something, teach them what Bitcoin is and how it works. Where to store their Bitcoin. Suggest some self-custodial wallets. If anyone decides to invest, Ask them to hold and never sell at a loss. Good luck.
399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction fee. on: March 14, 2023, 03:45:07 AM
By now, you already have the best suggestion about where to check the estimated fees. But, Since you asked what others use to check the current transaction fees, I wouldn't mind sharing mine. I have used Atomic Wallet for a long time, and most of the time, I used suggested transaction fees, and sometimes I used lower fees. But, If I feel like Atomic is suggesting high fees, I check on Blockchains. Suppose you visit https://blockchair.com/bitcoin; you will see the recommended transaction fees on their website (see the image below). If you want your transaction to get faster, you can increase it slightly. When I write this post, the recommended transaction fee is two satoshis per byte. You can increase three satoshis if you want.

Congratulations SeeBiscuit, for reaching the Full Member Rank. I know those feelings. I got the Full Member rank two months ago and reached the Sr. member rank last week. It's not easy when you desperately want to reach the next level. But, You are passionate about something. You won't realize that time is going fast and you will reach the desired rank. I see you are too excited about your rank-up. I saw you write good posts in Bitcoin Discussion threads. Sometimes joining Signature campaigns drops the post quality drastically. I hope it won't happen to you. I hope the new rank gave you a considerable boost inside.
