I saw in the service thread that the admin is hiring team members for Superplay. Pretty sure this is a good start to improving the project via having members for the ICO. I have also applied for community manager hoping to get accepted here.
Expanding the team to get additional talent on board is important but also extremely difficult these days as there are tons of ICOs on the outlook for developers and all types of talent for blockchain businesses. |

But yes it may decrease coin value, because mining cost per coin for ASIC will be so each.
Need to wait and see how it helps newer coins
Is there no way to modify the algorithm such that ASICS for a particular modified version become obsolete? I think Monero is tweaking its mining algo so that ASIC don't become profitable, so yes there are ways, but its mixed approach, some coins are changing algo and some are not. So things will become clear in few weeks. But i think the overall impact of ASIC has been good for coins, like bitcoin, litecoin, dash. So hopefully it will be good for cryptonote coins as well. Not sure if bytecoin is changing because cryptonote coins are either monero fork or bytecoin fork. Hm don't know about that. If you say the overall impact has been good, what do you like about Chinese mining centralization? |

I’m a little confused. Will this be a platform for selling travel services or a currency to pay for such services? It seems like the primary focus is for payment - what would be the main distinction between this and other payment methods (e.g. bitcoin, credit cards, etc).
If there is no other main distinction this platform wouldn't make any sense as everyone would be better off to use the more established currencies. |

I agree ICO projects advertising world is getting smaller due to rejection if google and facebook.they tryly need our support to advertise them. I think a project can still advertise their ICO in Facebook as long as the terms they use in their ads does not encourage people to buy or purchase a token from ICO sale but terms that only describe the features of a project. Why this PYN is not listed on major exchange? Last time I was on Telegram, they said that they were trying to get on kucoin or some exchange, is this still happening? Why is it that PYN can't get on large exchange while new coin that hit the market that able to do so, such as Nucleus Vision, Ontology and many more
Right now, I feel they have failed to negotiate with the top exchanges and are focused towards card delivery and app launch on 26th.Maybe after this, PYN gets on big exchanges and attract more users after cards are delivered to users. That's very stange, i see many other ICO that raised smaller amounts and finished later already trading on exchanges, but PYN is only on yobit with 0 volume. Now they are going to the phase 2 of ICO, and I really doubt that many will be interested in buying seeing how bad liquidity of these tokens with price 10x down. It's also sometimes about very good connections that some person on an ICO team has with those big guys from the exchanges. Not always about negotiation or money only. |

In Spectrecoin two addresses: one ordinary, the other anonymous. All transactions between anonymous addresses are anonymous. Nobody will know from which address and on what payment was made. You can not see the IP address of the wallets either. Therefore, it is certainly not surprising that in a darknet someone is using Spectrecoin.
What did you imply? Is that mean we have rights to choose which type of transactions we would like to do (ordinary or anonymous)? Personally, I think most users will use anonymous functions if transaction fees for both types are the same. That might not be true in every single situation. If you are merchant for example things could look differently if they are forced to have transparent accounting data with information about their customers. That's why Monero won't go mainstream in the official e-commerce world. It's a good point, for to prefer SpectreCoin, because it looks more like real money. Real money obviously has both uses, like saying "both directions". It's definitely an important point. If there is such an option where you can switch between anonymous and public transactions it will help XSPEC to not be automatically ruled out from being a payment method for e-commerce. |

There is no proper coverage in the media. This is one of the key tools to attract attention to the project, but for some reason it is ignored by the team. I would not say at all that there is insufficient coverage. Their Telegram has 20k members so it could probably make sense for them to focus on Telegram if they are short on manpower.
Unfortunately, they aren't active on telegram either. I hope they will hire a community manager at the soonest possible time in order to answer the community queries. You are right. I think a community manager will not cost that much and it will be worth the money and will bring them good ICO funds. I guess they are busy with other stuffs and yes hiring one or two community manager will be good for them. Hence, they can keep focusing on the project. There is still the Telegram channel where people could go and ask the questions they have and I think they would get an answer if it's an urgent question. Very unprofessional to let this thread abandoned. In telegram there are hundreds of people joining, but I cant see a conversation between admins and people. I am not saying that I like it, but it seems to be the way many projects choose. Many forum members are complaining about silent threads. |

I am not too familiar with GVT, but from what I see they can't even be compared to VRT. VRT is going to build a global VRT infrastructure consisting not only of a blockchain ecosystem, but a real world ecosystem as well which is connected to the digital world. This is a strong project and I hope they can build it as they wish. To me, too, the VRT project seems more versatile and promising. This is an infrastructure project based on real business. The potential market of such an enterprise is huge and constantly growing. Right and it has tremendous future potential as it is dealing with a trend that is just about to begin. Virtual reality will only become bigger in the future. |

The community has been waiting for an update by the developer for some time now but still we haven't heard anything Yeah right already more than 1-2 month i think the developer say he will comeback after vacation but still nothing at here no news and other think about them. Feel sad about this project. i hope can save this coin It started out like a promising project in the beginning but now it is threatened to end up like most of them did end up and will end up. Too sad devs can't be held responsible if the circumstances would actually justify it. Some people say the developer just making some raise money fro their ICO and ruins out that project. Until now still no good news from placo. long time ago iam waiting for news listing at yobit but still nothing He also hasn't been active here for some time. Have there been several missed deadlines to date or is there anything going according to plan? You can see last active developer from Placo. he at march online but seem like he only reply other thread then not online again. i think already not going anymore to the plan Maybe this is another one which is heading towards oblivion.
