381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Bitclave - Decentralized Search ★ November 29 ICO ★ on: September 19, 2018, 09:33:06 AM
Yikes, everyone left Bessonov? This is not good. I wish one of the former teammates would speak up here.

The reputation of Bitclave's leaders will be burned for good.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TRST] WeTrust - For the People, By the People! on: September 18, 2018, 06:24:29 PM
I'm seeing some WeTrust Spring ads here on BitcoinTalk. It's good to know that the project is still alive, because I was almost losing my hopes. He had already given up the search for the token price. It was one of the biggest losses I've had so far.

I decided to buy some more in this new fall to see if I can at least minimize the damage.

The project was really very innovative and able to attract a lot of people for everything it was hoping for. He even had one of the highest heights I ever saw when Vitalik said he was contributing to it. I hope you'll come up with Spring a little bit now with this investment in Mkt.

Thanks for the feedback @vit05. We're targeting the first week of October now, since we ran into some last minute changes, but this first version will have the platform fully functioning.

It will be basic for now, but next versions will add more features that we hope the community will like!

Take your time. Spread awareness. Show the dev team has been busy all this time, coding and promoting the platform. All's well will end well.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]🔥 LUNYR 🔥 Decentralized World Knowledge Base on Ethereum / OPEN BETA 🚀 on: September 17, 2018, 10:19:57 PM
But LUNYR should have not dropped like this, if you see the all time high you'll be disappointed with the current price.

The whole crypto market is highly speculative with miniscule metrics of how platforms are actually used. It is expected because there is no palpable demand yet for LUN tokens. So what you see is pure human greed and fear.
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: September 16, 2018, 05:40:59 PM
To scale down the denomination of Byteball on exchanges (from Gigabytes to Megabytes or lower) has been debated for a while now, mainly for reasons of marketing. But someone has pointed out that there are deeper reasons for doing that: to define a Byteball unity as 1 Gigabyte would be like defining an unity of dollar as 1 Million $. Of course this does not make any sense if you are looking for mass adoption, like Byteball is:

(...)
The fact that Byteball is measured in Gigabytes is a problem because it is crucially violating Byteball's mission number one: to achieve mass adoption.
(...)

However, we are in the very early dawn of cryptocurrencies, which sometimes in the future (perhaps a distant future) are logically destined to replace the so much less efficient FIAT finance.
As we are just in the dawn of crypto, it doesn't really matter NOW which is the denomination of Byteball on exchanges. At some point it will eventually be changed, when the time will be deemed mature.
Meanwhile, we could consider the Byteball-in-Gigabytes world as the club of tomorrow's millionaires.
There are coins like Ada-Cardano which have openly claimed to point becoming the first platform to achieve 1 trillion $ capitalization.
Well, if Byteball would one day achieve something like that, then every single Gigabyte will be worth 1 Million $ - IF the USD will still exist with some value by then, of course.
Therefore, my fellow byteballers, don't waist your time whining but instead enjoy every single Gigabyte you have sitting in your wallet. There are only 1 Million of them, and the world's population is 7+ Bllions. And rising...

Well, no one knows the future. Maybe the future of money is not even known or maybe not even a cryptocurrency. I would love for it to be Byteball though but efforts on making Byteball as an ICO platform is kind of outdated since the start of 2018.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🚀📈[ANN-ICO]ATLANT Real Estate Platform| 📈🚀🌟🌟 on: September 13, 2018, 06:30:00 PM

i am ok with that. but want to understand why bounty hunters need to pass kyc to be approved to recieve the rest of bounty tokens. 7 months without kyc already passed.

They explained on Telegram that KYC will be required because Atlant project is all about transparency and if you want to participate (run node, buy property, escrow, etc.) then you have to be fully verified and that is why they ask bounty hunters to do this.

I don't understand this because the platform is not working and there is no scheduled date for launch any time soon so why this requirement now? We have already received payments a few times without KYC so isn't required for sure.

Just don't like how they play games with us all the time. We were treated like investors only until ICO end. Just after when they got our money this sentiment changed and new regulations popped up like postponed and finally not delivered original roadmap, delayed bounty distribution, payout in 18 months, no to changing hacked addresses, and now KYC. Let's wait and look what will be next.

Despite all this, the price keeps going down each day.
and what if somebody will not pass kyc? what will happed with the rest of this guy's bouty? team will keep it in their pockets?

I think so. If you would be not able to pass KYC your bounty will be gone in the team pockets. If this has to happen then would be better if they send all these tokens gathered from failed KYC to some charity. Only then there will be no accusations that they do it only for tokens because is obvious that quite a view of bounty hunters will not be able to pass KYC.

I can't ask on Telegram questions because I am in "only read" mode and additionally Atlant doesn't allow bounty discussion there. When people ask about KYC for bounty hunters Atlant managers put warnings on them or even ban and tell to ask this questions in the bounty thread which is hilarious because there is nobody from the team active and supporting or answer questions.

yes i read it. they postig that bonty questions allowed only here, but they are know better than us that here is no any respond.

Yeah, this thread along with other ICO threads are a ghost town. Everybody is into Telegram these days.

Can't wait for $7500 resistance be breached convincingly otherwise back to $6700 area again.

Yikes, I have a feeling this is turning out to be an exit scam.  The devs should show themselves soon!
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 6 reasons why future ICOs will use Byteball instead of Ethereum (+screenshots) on: September 02, 2018, 06:14:04 AM
It will take time. Flawed Ethereum suffered a lot from Bitcoin maximalists. Many naysayers predicting a collapse. But they prevailed, I guess from the increasing number of Ethereum coders. It is flawed, but it doesn't matter for now.

Byteball needs more developers as much as ETH.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SONM • Decentralized Fog Computing Platform on: August 30, 2018, 05:13:04 AM
SMH. Trading via orderbook analysis is the worst. You might as well throw a dice. You know orders can be hidden and manipulated for dumb traders.
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SDRN] Senderon - ERC20 Project Funding Token on: August 29, 2018, 01:53:37 AM
Until now the Senderon price in the market remains stable. Is Senderon listed more exchange now?
The SDRN price on the market is very stable because the daily trading volume doesn't exceed $50. The team has no plans to list further during this time, they may wait for the market warmer.

LOLZ stable at almost zero volume. Exactly. When a coin is this illiquid, the probability of 2x in seconds is high.

OMG. Same old game of fudding. Stop explaining price rallies with your stupid assumptions. The price chart shows the truth, learn to read it.

Just consider they were able to raise a large amount of funds inspite of the protracted bear market in crypto.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of altcoins? on: August 23, 2018, 08:24:23 AM
Everybody sees altcoins go to zero in the end. It will happen since everyone agrees, amrite?  Grin
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: August 21, 2018, 07:38:34 PM
Steem attestors reach more than 68,000

More than 68,000 Steem users have now connected their username to their Byteball wallet. That is an increase of around 7,000 on last week.

It's worth noting that this is the highest weekly number of Steem attestations in several weeks.

Just goes to show you that Steem's native cryptocurrency is not ideal for that Reddit wannabe. The platform is great being said to be decentralized and all but using Bitshares technology is a lot clunkier.
397  Economy / Economics / Re: How Long Crypto market will take to recover? on: August 20, 2018, 05:53:55 PM
We all know this year is one of the worst year of crypto, market is dead and new investors are in fear to enter,  My portfolio is 75% down as compare to January. How long this market will take time to recover?. I am stacked in holding.

Definitely not as long as the last bear. 80 - 85% losses is the mean average for losses from ATH.

399  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 18, 2018, 07:42:50 PM
I remember in btc-e's trollbox people were saying $40k next year when the price was $1000 in 2014. After 4 years we reached $20k.

Now people are saying $100k in 2020. That means we'll see $50k in 2023 or 2022.

Unless it doesn't

The fundamentals are different now. I've seen die-hard Bitcoin fans sell sub $200 last bear cycle (I have zero respect for those idiots), thinking that maybe Bitcoin is really just a fad and that most people's opinion that there won't be a financial revolution that would threaten established banks.

But now? Everybody agrees cryptocurrencies are here to stay. The question is which ones. Always. What's happening now is just market cycle things, parabolic rises are always accompanied  with gut-wrenching crashes.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔴[ANN] DESICO - The world's first platform to issue and trade security tokens🔴 on: August 17, 2018, 07:13:06 PM
2018 will be remembered as the year of the security token, and DESICO looks to be one of the front runners in making the shift from "faux" utility to compliant, regulated security token offerings affordable and realistic for startups.

I don't know but it's too early for security tokens especially in the United States. If cryptocurrencies are under heavy scrutiny from the government, what more on security tokens.

But Desico is on the right path, maybe it gets to be one of the pioneers, but this  will take time.
