Did you use 2FA?

In most cases, if your account transferred shares, then they are transferred.
If you have 2fa enabled, then things are looked at more closely.

I will be added 2fa support for transfers as well soon, however if someone can 2fa login to your account, then they can 2fa transfer shares from it.

If you have not yet gotten a reply, more than likely it is still under investigation, and you may get a positive result rather than a quick "Sorry, there is not much we can do." type response.

There's no point trying to log in when it's the CloudFlare page you're seeing.

We had someone attempting to fill some local log files.

I have corrected for this and the site is back up.

Sorry about that, I was rolling out some minor backend updates to enhance security.

I will be scheduling a 10 minute downtime later letting people know when to wrap them up.

personally, I am not overly concerned regarding the legality of equity-based crowdfunding, on the other hand, the way bitFunder.com is set up, there are some very real attack/regulation vectors, such as the dependence on weExchange, but also its .com TLD, and probably a bunch of other aspects that most of us are not aware of.

given the number of btc exchanges and equity market places that were shut down over time, I would hope these issues to be properly addressed in some way, to ensure that early-adopters of bitFunder.com would not be prone to such a scenario, possibly by supporting other exchanges. For example, see: http://bex.io/

I mentioned to someone in a pm recently that the tld should soon not be an issue. Smiley

I feel that Bitfunder needs to have either the option to set the time to your own native local time, or a server time situated somewhere at the top of the page, as it's very hard for me to tell when the last trade was on a share/bond.

This is in the works. Smiley

The issue is fixed. We had a log file that managed to grow too large due to someone making attempts on the system and obviously frustrated that it was not working.

Just bumping for API

It's moving along, both WebSocket and REST.

A few people have started gaining some access. Smiley

the market view table uses javascript instead of real a href links currently, so that it is currently not possible to open multiple stocks in separate tabs, in addition the initial asset view takes ages to load (latest google chrome) because of "Loading chart..." (the charts are awesome btw, but maybe there's a way to partially cache things?) - it would be great if you could get these fixed.

I have been testing ideas for a replacement for the market page that I think most people will be happier with. Smiley
389  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Asset Exchange Marketplace + Rewritable Options Trading on: June 17, 2013, 03:41:02 AM
On my cpu the site renders very slow with default graph activated.

Also seeing that here on a fast 8-core machine with plenty of RAM (on Linux/Chrome), I guess it's an algorithmic issue - all other tabs work properly, but the graph takes 4-7 seconds to show up, there must be some optimization potential left there...

The graphs seems to have issued loading the large amount of data in the present form.

I have moved a copy of the data to a flat file and tested if that was the delay, however it did not help.

The issue lays solely with highcharts or its config. I have not found any special config options that help with this so far.

They have an example of loading over a million data points into a chart, however if I edit that same example, and point it to our data, which is far less, and provided on an instant load basis in the same fashion, it still takes time to load.

I have a support request in with them and we are working to get this resolved soon.

Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Hmm,

I think the difference is that they have already found traces of Gold on their land.

Generally most exploration companies are at stage 1, go out and find something.
I think here, they are at stage 2, they have found something, and need funds to further detail exactly how much has is actually there.

So regardless, as long as the traces are correct, the promise of Gold is 100%. It is more of a question of exactly "how much".

Hello Ukyo, I notice that CAD (Interac) is still mentioned in your signature.
Are you still accepting these kinds of deposits?
I hope not because there is nothing you can buy with Canadian dollars
at Bitfunder.  There are no 'asks' and no 'bids' for Fiat.CAD vs BTC.

Interac is for users to trade CAD on weex. Even there, there is no volume. Our new site will fixes that though. Smiley
If you would be interested in being a beta user, PM me.

I had been asked to setup the BTC/USD asset on BF, so I did AUD and CAD as well since it was there and easy.

I can confirm that the actual end date and time is 2013-07-26 12:50:05.

This is definitely a display bug and I will get it corrected for you.

Thanks for pointing this out!

Also, looking for anyone near the Greater London area wanting to meet up this weekend. Drop me a PM. Smiley

is there a way to negotiate a rebate of sorts when I want to take my three mining cooperatives on bitfunder?
900usd for opening three issues seems a bit harsh.

I am sending you a pm to discuss it. Smiley

Hey guys,

I will be in London for a week or so starting this Thurs. 13th of June.

If anyone would like to meet up in the afternoon / evening for food and drinks, I will be available Thursday night. Smiley

If you are interested, drop me a PM on the forums. I will try to get back to you by Thursday noon at the latest.

I know this is isn't a the meetup subforum, however this is more of a 'Hey who's around' than a bitcoin meet. Wink

See you soon!

Is tomorrow night the only night you can do?

Cheers

I wont know on the rest of the nights until they get closer. I think the weekend is fully open though.

Sorry if this has already been asked, or sounds "daft".

Would it be possible to have 2FA for withdrawals without having to have it active for logging in?

Thank you for providing this market.

But then you'd need it for orders too.

Yes. I should have a 2-Factor settings area.

30 days is too much when dealing with funds.

Ukyo,

I just thought of one I'd really like to see:

Emails when something happens, buy, sell, option etc. That's on the list (I think). Here's what's not: ability for a user to supply a public key (PGP) to secure the emails.

Thanks.

Even better. Just added it to the notifications center stuff. Smiley

Thanks!
399  Economy / Securities / Re: BitFunder - Lets grow together! A request to all users - https://bitfunder.com on: June 11, 2013, 06:30:47 PM
Also, would it be possible to have unrealized and realized P/L for the account? On realized, could it also have different time frames, maybe a 1 week, 1 month, 3 month, 6 month and ytd? Oh, a simple line graph showing this?

And is that a yes on the above asks?  Wink

Ah hah! something interesting to add to the graphs.

I have added this stuff to the todo list. Smiley

Thanks!

UKyo

Would it be possible to adapt the Market (asset list) to have an extra column showing percentage change over (x) period, say a days trading or 12 hrs or whatever is best? Also could you make it to allow for me to change the order in which they are listed by biggest gainers or biggest losers?

Anything is possible.

And I really like this. Smiley
