382  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I was bored. So i wanted to buy a game on Steam... on: July 22, 2015, 05:12:18 PM
i am always looking around for steam stuff all over the internet.

i even submitted a request with them asking them to start accepting bitcoin as payment.

I used steambitshop[1] for this several times in the past.

aww man they are in vacation
what does that even mean?!!! how can a website go on vacation lol
Maybe he just want to prevent fraud while he's away. Nothing perfect on system, so anything can happen. Better to shut it down momentarily right?
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [TUTORIAL] How to Earn 1 Bitcoin in a Week on: July 22, 2015, 05:06:24 PM
Lol I more concerned about posting 20 per 15 minutes, really?

Also the altcoin trading interest me, but I kinda knew about altcoi trading (not altcoin holding). Anyone got a better ang lightweight trading sites?
384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: July 22, 2015, 01:06:50 PM
For me the biggest problem with bitcoin is transaction time
Oh yeah, I forget about that.
It's painful to wait 10min - 1hour to get a confirmation, doesn't matter how much the fees
385  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] Mellow Ads - simple, bitcoin advertising - CPM/CPC campaigns now available on: July 22, 2015, 12:40:51 PM
I just realize the withdrawal fee are 50.000 satoshis..
Any plan to lower the fees?
386  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: July 22, 2015, 12:37:34 PM
My expenses increase, every time, thanks, Bitcoin! And yeah, that's the worst.
Also, sending transaction and forget to put some fees and wait like a day/week to get cancelled (not confirmed)

Ahhh the worst was to buy an account for 0.0182 btc.
I got it from a scammer as he didn't tell me it was cracked it was suspended some days later.  Cry Cry Cry
You should be careful next time because selling accounts should break ToS in most places.
Next time I suggest to search someone that can help you create a (premium) account with their own money and pays them with bitcoin than buying the account.
387  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: July 22, 2015, 12:30:58 PM
that's a moot point, if you hold some btc in your phone wallet, and a thief steals it, then you lost the double, the phone and your coin, especially if they weren't passprotected
That's why we should have (encrypted) backups, so you still have chances to rescue the coins and move them. Work besides getting stolen also.
388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: July 22, 2015, 12:28:04 PM
We have been kicking the can down the road for the past few years with these issues waiting for the second generation of bitcoin development which has solved many of these longstanding issues:

Bitcoin is not safe enough for the average user
Change addresses. I guess it's unsolvable, but if only there could be a bitcoin which didn't require the use of a change address with transactions (i.e., unspent funds remain in original address).
That problem has been solved too:  You can obtain a new private key for your same address anytime you want to.

How can you create a new private key for the same address?

How is that possible Huh If new private key is generated does the old one still works same as the new?
Every address has it own private key. Generating a new one means new address, but you still have the current/private address' private key.
Private key just work like a password or key to access the address.

Even using escrow there is no way to verify that you no longer keep the private key.

393  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] Mellow Ads - simple, bitcoin advertising - advertise from 0.001BTC per day on: July 04, 2015, 04:50:44 PM
you will paye me today ?
i have 3 ads Mellow in my faucet

dude just leave, your site sucks and we don't need someone abusing a good system
maybe you are the big sucks

Stop it already, it's your own fault who actually scams advertisers and other publisher's shares. Also he already replied you in the quote below
You won't be paid if you try to scam the system. Simple as that.
You are the publisher that I mentioned above who created a web site with 55 ad spaces on it. After we banned that, you tried to create it again, this time with 112 ad spaces!
And then you emailed us asking us to close your account. So no, you wont be paid.

By doing this, you are trying to cheat other publishers out of their share of the pool and you are cheating advertisers who are not getting quality views of their paid campaigns. And if we don't take this sort of action, Mellow Ads will lose all credibility with advertisers.

Yes we need to get our T&C up, but no matter what is written there we can't possibly cover every single scam attempt that someone is going to make. So in the meantime the 1 condition for using Mellow Ads is "don't try to cheat/scam the system, or you will be banned and not paid/refunded".
394  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: >>SteadyTurtle.com -Pure SSD -LiteSpeed -Multiple promotions Inside, upto 99%OFF on: June 30, 2015, 07:07:55 AM
Can someone provide a review of server performance vs. expectation?   I would consider using them because the prices are good but need to know how they measure up to the competition.
Already running for 3 months, at the first month they had a problem with the server (down, maintenance) not for long but the support still reachable and they quickly responded.

No any problems until now then, my site (faucet) still accessible without any lag/problem.
I don't know about putting a bigger website, but a penny for the first month isn't that bad to try.

Anyway SteadyTurtle, why I can't use the Registrar Lock?
395  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] Mellow Ads - simple, bitcoin advertising - FREE 0.01 BTC OFFER on: June 27, 2015, 04:18:29 AM
I would like to ask when revenue is credited on account balance? For publishers I mean.. I have some visitors, some clicks but balance still 0 BTC

Thanks

Ok here goes Smiley

At the end of each day we calculate...
A total unique views provided by each ad space that day
B total unique views for all the ad spaces - so the sum of A for all ad spaces
C total paid into the network pool by advertisers that day multiplied by 90% (the other 10% is the Mellow Ads fee)

Then the amount we will pay to each ad space is (A ÷ B) × C

Example
As a very simplified example say there are just 2 ad spaces...

Alpha: gets 1000 unique views
Beta: gets 500 unique views

So B = 1000 + 500 = 1500

And say that 0.1 BTC was paid in to the network pool by advertisers, then C = 0.1 × 90% = 0.09 BTC

Then at the end of the day...

Alpha is paid (1000 ÷ 1500) × 0.09 = 0.06 BTC
Beta is paid (500 ÷ 1500) × 0.09 = 0.03 BTC
(And Mellow Ads retains 0.01 BTC)

I'm new on mellow ads,
so putting 2 banners on a same page still counted as 1 unique visit? Is it per ad space or per site?
396  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A-ads or Coinurl for faucet? on: June 27, 2015, 04:13:03 AM
Check out https://mellowads.com/ they just launched
Seems promising, gonna trying them for a bit.
397  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A-ads or Coinurl for faucet? on: June 24, 2015, 02:42:01 PM
Ok, I'll try to switch into a-ads for a moment.

I already use bitmedia for 2-3 months and I'm happy with them Smiley
Check their terms before applying. Maybe you violate some of them. I don't have any problem with the approval. Accepted on first try.

The earnings will added into your pending balance, which will be released after a week. You can withdraw with minimum 0.01 btc
398  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] Halving Faucet - Up to 2000 satoshis - 15 minutes - Automatic payment on: June 24, 2015, 12:42:28 AM
I have paid all pending payouts.
Cheers!
399  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A-ads or Coinurl for faucet? on: June 23, 2015, 04:37:45 PM
ouh, if adbit banned your faucet, then a-ads is better. I personally prefer a-ads than coinurl ( I have tried both of them )..
and a-ads give me more than coinurl  Cool
Thanks for the experience share!

Got any stats like last payout with total impressions? I want to take a look Grin
My current daily earning with coinurl is 4000-7500 satoshis daily with around 1000 impressions*2 advertisement slots per day,
What about a-ads?
400  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A-ads or Coinurl for faucet? on: June 23, 2015, 04:13:17 PM
coinurl isn't good for faucet, and a-ads need a lot of impression to get paid...

adbit.co can be another choice...,
they're using bidding system too..,

So, a-ads is a good one?

I like CoinURL because I don't need to wait someone to bid, but seems it hard to earn.
I like a-ads because the bidding system, but I kinda dislike with the 1 satoshi bidder though.
I confused.

Forgot to mention that my faucet banned from adbit.co so that's not a choice anymore Grin
Plus, it seems it isn't based on impression..
